We got to the airport pretty early, but seeing as how we had some time, we decided to sit for a while and eat at Smith Cove. The seating was pretty quick, as people have to go in and out of the resturaunt due to flight departures and that time they leave, of course, or even as you're just coming in, it's a nice spot to just be able to relax for a while before continuing your day/business/adventure.
The service though was not as quick as I would have appreciated it to be though, I was hungry and nearly fell asleep trying to wait for my food to be served, they did of course get to us after a little bit of time, but I got the pike place market bowl of Clam Chowder. I will say this right now however. That I only ordered the soup by itself. Not with the bread bowl, it seemed like a small amount of soup, but it was satisfying. Now, unless you're really hungry and want something filling, I suggest getting the bread bowl with it, as that will make it more filling. But I also shared fish and chips with my mother to make up for my choice of no bread bowl with my soup.
While my fiance had chicken fingers (deep fried chicken fries).
The atmosphere wasn't bad, it was almost like those sports bars kind of.
But other than that. It was satisfying and really good. So if you have no time to visit in Seattle and get yourself a claim chowder... I suggest coming here before you take off for your next adventure.
Also if you need coffee, it's right next to peetes coffee. :) (I suggest giving them a try as well)
