Probably the best ⚽️ bar in New York and definitely one of the best sports bar in the US. Fantastic party atmosphere during World Cups, Euros, Copa America, and whenever one of the home teams plays - it's especially fun for Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona games. The setup is great - you can view multiple screens from any spot, which is great for weekend matchdays, Champions League days, March Madness, NFL gameday, or whenever there are multiple games going on simultaneously. There's a large selection of beers on tap, a full bar, and excellent bar food - the burgers, Jameson wings, and fries are imho among the best in the genre. The service is professional and friendly, which adds to a phenomenal atmosphere.

I just love you, guys!!! My fifth visit after leaving from work to enjoy my draught Blue Moon and fried calamari my "must have choices" when coming your way! Great ambiance, great service, great location! Whenever you are in town, don't miss it! Even if the place is packed and you end being standing, you'll have a great time being "solo" or with friends. It’s a nice huge sports bar! Came here to watch the opening of football season and wasn’t disappointed. Huge selection of draft beers 🍻 Big food many but food is just okay Chicken wings not Buffalo wings Classic burger with cheese was good and French fries is delicious 🤤 For the burger - onions were missing Great service Plenty of space Draft beers was served in not chilled glass I guess because of a lot of clients. But the most upsetting situation- not really a nice neighborhood- so many drug addictive people was outside , just be careful after you leave this place

first of all, you need to order through an app (union). I do not like that, but thats‘s just personal. we‘ve orderer 2 classic burgers and a quesadilla. the burger does not come with a sauce - big no no for me. I‘ve ordered some mayo, it came after 10-15mins - way to much time. my burger was almost cold. food was good but the experience not so.

Really good and fresh tasting cheeseburgers with fresh hand cut fries (included) and a brioche bun which we had nicely toasted. Also nice, crunchy and tasty thin cut sweet potatoe fries. Great atmosphere to watch sports, host events and great outdoor seating where sports can be watched as well on numerous TVs facing the windows in the front of the restaurant. Really nice, friendly and on point service too. Overall A+ place and definitely recommended 👌

Been here a few times and enjoyed my experience each time. The staff is attentive, polite and friendly. It can get packed at times for big events but that should be expected even with how spacious it is. Expect your typical bar drinks with good bar food. I definitely recommend this spot and think you should give it a try. If your experience is not the best, then don't blame me : )

Found this spot down the block from my hotel.. Walked in and got seated asap.. Fast service.. Jammed pack during the lunch on a weekday due to the soccer match was on.. Plenty of tvs, fast service, full bar and plenty of space.. Food was good, nothing too special just something quick and lite to eat before I got on my flight.

Smithfield Hall is conveniently right around the corner from me so I decided to check it out for the first Patriots game of the NFL Season, which happened to be on at the same time as the US Open Men's Finals that my friend wanted to watch. I was told at the door that there were two "sides" inside and if we wanted to be able to watch both things at once, our best bet would be outside. They have TVs facing out so that you can see them from the outdoor tables. The ambiance and vibe inside and outside were completely different. Outside it was pretty chill while inside it was rowdy, crowded and loud. I was happy to be seated outside, even though it was a bit less lively. The die hard people seemed to be indoors if not for the reason there was no way to hear sound for the TVs outside (I put the game on my phone and put one airpod in to hear the sound). Outside there are maybe 6 (covered) picnic tables in street and 4 high tops on the sidewalk. You conveniently order and pay for all food and drinks via a QR code. Initially I grabbed an open picnic table but the TVs are "owned" by the table in front of them and we could only call dibs on what would be shown on one TV. Kevin was awesome and directed us to a high top that had two TV's right in front of it so that we could call dibs on so that we could watch both the US Open and the Patriots Game. They have a lot of game day specials and prices are very reasonable. There's a big beer menu as well as cocktails, wine, etc. I opted for a topo chico with tequila (upgraded to patron) and had the chicken panini. The fries were excellent and I ate all of them despite my intent not to. The panini came on a pita like bread which was great because it wasn't too bready. I was very happy and pleasantly surprised how good the food was. I'm a fan! Tip: Bring bugspray if you sit outside because I was eaten alive.

Came here to watch Premier League soccer on a Saturday morning. We were a party of 5 and got lucky getting a table as many tables were reserved. We only got beers and got served quickly. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because of service. We asked the waitress 5 times for cups of water as when we were seated they did not give us enough glasses for the whole party. They also refused to change one of the televisions to the match we wanted to see even though 95% of the televisions had the same game on. There are plenty of bars to watch these matches and this one did not impress.

We found Smithfield Hall steps away from the Renaissance in Chelsea on 3/17 at 9:30 in the morning. Expecting to be asked "How many?" we instead encountered "What game?" The left side of the hall was supporting Leicester in the FA quarter final, and the right side was supporting Chelsea. We replied "Can we have breakfast?" and were accepted in, knowing we'd best not dally lest the party who had a reservation show up. I had the excellent Avocado toast - although the avocado itself could have had more seasoning. My partner had the American Breakfast. Great coffee! We exited successfully about 80 minutes into the match. Love it!

Stopped in for drinks and to watch soccer on a Saturday mid day. If you're a big soccer fan, this place is for you and I'd recommend making a reservation for a table. It got pretty loud with people chanting for their respective teams. We were lucky and arrived at noon to get one of the last 6 tops available. They had standard bar drinks, beers on draft and by the pitcher, wine, cocktails seltzers. They also offered a few brunch options. We stuck to ordering drinks. Our waitress was not friendly and looked miserable. We barely saw her, had a hard time getting refills on drinks and waters and ended up scanning the QR code on the table to order via their online system. Overall, it was an average sports bar. Lots of soccer games and TV no matter who your team is.

Went here for two hour open bar for work event and it was awesome Firstly, the staff was super friendly and cool. The vibes in the bar were chill & the ambience even outside of our party was nice. There were a good amount of people. I had a marg that was delicious, as well as a blue moon :) Nothing bad to say, would come back on my own!!

Sunday morning in NYC and looking for a sports bar? Well, head to Smithfield Hall. We didn't realize it's actually a soccer bar, but thankfully they had the NFL games on a couple of TVs. I cannot believe how crowded this bar was but makes sense if there's that big of a soccer following in the area. Games were on all day. It's a super energetic bar to watch sports and have drinks. Unfortunately, we had lunch plans somewhere else so we did not partake in the food options but we saw lots of plates coming out of the kitchen. Food looked super tasty.

Decent selection of beers including their own branded lager and ale. Unfortunately the service is slow at best, and non existent at peak times. The food is not particularly good. The standout dish was the "guacamole", which was basically chips with a tiny bowl of store bought guacamole on the side, for $14. They try to get customers order online, but we had several issues with the payment portal so that wasn't any more efficient.

I was craving a burger so I found the closest pub to me! It was total pub vibes with dark lighting, high tables, and TVs. We came by around 9pm on a Friday night and it wasn't busy at all! We easily sat at a table, ordered our drinks and food through the app, and was served pretty quickly. I ordered their classic burger which was pretty basic but fulfilled my craving. It came with a side of fries as well. I think the only downside was the price being about $15 and I wish there were more fries. Aside from that I loved that the place seemed pretty local and the service was great!

It was convenient located to the gallery at 150 W, so we stopped by for a quick dinner. Bar food which is ok, bad service, which isn't ok. Littles visibly on the floor inside, outside isn't any better. The best thing is the sunset.

The smithsfield hall fries were delicious and I would get them again next time. I also got the breakt sanger and for $9 is a great deal and is filling without feeling like it was too much. I would get that again as well! Good seating for groups and if you sit outside at the tables with heaters that have the QR code, everyone orders from and pays for their own tab in their phone which is SO convenient

Service was good. Place was clean. Food was decent. I had a working lunch, only two people on my check. Also bought a round for a friend. Paid my bill, tipped 20%. It wasn't until I got home that I realized they added the 20% tip in already... and another line for additional tip! If the server doesn't explicitly tell me tip is included, I believe this is a shady practice and it leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. Not a good way to conduct business. Be careful of this place.

Smithfield Hall is your standard Manhattan sports bar. From photos, we thought it would be fancier than it actually is. It is actually just a dimly lit bar where once you look closely, it is just a step above a dive bar. There are a large amount of TVs to watch sports on and you will find a decent selection of beers (IPAs, lagers, ales, etc.)

So I was looking for a place to watch the Timbers vs Sounders derby while here in NYC (RCTID!). This was a great option. The place was pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon in the summer, but it was cool and had a good sports bar vibe. The staff got the audio setup for the game for the whole bar, and it turns out there were actually several other people there to watch the game too (they were pretty decent people, despite being Flounders fans). The bar encourages ordering through a mobile app, which is actually super efficient. I had a chicken katsu sandwich, with fries. It was very tasty.

!!!!!!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! My boyfriend and I went here on December 1st and there was some terrifying sketchy scene going on. A man approached us with his "friend" trying to make friends with us and speaking in multiple different accents. This woman who "didn't know them" then tried to corner us and was completely on drugs. The three people that were next to us "left"? And left their phones, wallets, backpacks, and jackets there. I hope nothing bad happened to them but I wouldn't be surprised if something did with what these sketchy people were trying to do to my boyfriend and I. I tried to tell the bartender about the girl that was seemingly on drugs and he claimed to talk to her but did not kick her out even after I told him that she was saying very suspicious and profane things to me. I would never go back I have never felt more unsafe in my life.

This is a cool, Loud, atmospheric sports bar. Plenty of beer on tap including some very good German beers. Their home light beer was very good as was the German lagger. They use an app to place orders and pay for your food and drinks. It's a very nice concept as you just place the orders on the app, everything shows up (well not fast but it does eventually) and when done you just click a button add a tip and go home. The drinks always came fast but the food? We ordered when we sat and it took probably 40 minutes to get the food. So how do they still get a 4? We only ordered two things but man where they good. The shrimp tacos were not big but had plenty of shrimp and tasted amazing. The guacamole was also out of this world. It came with thick non greasy chip and was a legit version of this dish everyone has on the menu. I probably would have ordered one more thing as neither of these was a larger dish (the sweet potato fries looked pretty swell) but frankly did not want to wait another 40 minutes. They have a nice outdoor sitting area and plenty of tvs to catch the game.

Very cool pub in the heart of Chelsea. Home to fans of West Ham and Man City, and a respite to fans of good drink and food. We had the opportunity to watch the Field of Dreams game here with quite a few Yankee fans in attendance, but mostly just folks looking for a nice pub with chill at. Drinks specials are available and the food looks bomb. I like that they serve High West Bourbon and Double Rye, which rank high in my taste. They also have a plentiful selection of draft beer. Tried the Bavarian pretzel which appears to be scratch made and served with sides of beer cheese sauce and brown mustard. I could see food for other tables coming out and everything looked delicious. If you are in town and need a cool place to grab a drink, maybe some nosh and chill out, this is a great choice!

Favourite sports bar - There are two sides to this establishment; the left side has more high top tables for large groups and the right side has more table seating for smaller groups - TVs everywhere, no matter where you sit, you'll have a view - Definitely come early if a big game is on, you can bet it'll be packed - Get the Jameson wings and sweet potato fries!! This was a really fun sports bar to watch a soccer game. There are several big TVs throughout the pub and the noise level was perfect. We ordered the chicken wings and the cheese burgers. We enjoy them all and will definitely be back for future games. I went for an early lunch on a Saturday afternoon, the crowd was fun and all about sports. They have a convenient menu barcode where you can place the order and pay. The food came immediately and was the best bar food I've had. The famous Jameson wings were so delicious. I would order a second just to take home. We stopped in on Memorial Day at about 11:30. It was completely empty except for one other patron. There was only one waitress and she kept sitting in the back. We didn't see her often but she came around when we needed her. We saw a couple come in and wait for about 5 min and no one helped them. They ended up leaving. I got the bacon. The thing about bacon slabs is that I don't care for the fatty part. Luckily there was some of it that wasn't fatty. A little less than half. The flavor was good. I will say they had a great $10 lunch specials menu! My friend got the beyond beef veggie burger. He said it wasn't that good. My other friend got the philly cheese streak and said it hit the spot. I had some of the fries, they were good! This place looked like it would be great to watch a sporting event. Otherwise nothing special. We only came because the place we wanted to go was full. I likely won't be back.

Food was average, but service was non-existent. There was only one server for the entire back area so they seemed quite short-staffed. We came in on a Monday evening well before the football game and it wasn't that crowded. Even then, any time we wanted to get our server's attention, we had to flag her down. She never bothered to check on us after we got our food and when we ordered a drink (which never came), she said the ticket got lost at the bar. Huh? Just ended up canceling the order. Then we asked for A-1 and hot sauce which also never came. I asked again and it came at the end of the meal. The icing on the cake was that tips are pre-designated in the square up app they use so there is no incentive for good service IMHO. We ended up leaving an 18% tip (the lowest amount) so that we could leave as quickly as possible. This was definitely not a $70 dining experience.

Actually I came here last night with my friend and it was super duper crowded. We sat on the stools along the wall and ordered vodka cranberry with a splash of pineapple. One of the server gave us a check and my friend was waiting for the change then another server brings us the same check...SMFH! Boy did it take awhile and slow service. Tonight my friend and I got to experience a better and quick service from our server Erin. Phewww...thank god we didn't get the same server from last night! I wanted to try the food before I decided to write this review. So here it goes... My friend and I got to Smithfield a little before 6pm and good thing it was emptied. The host showed us there was other set of tables behind the wall of TVs but it was dark and too quiet. We went back to the other side and grabbed the two seater with backs to the chairs because I hate sitting on stools and slouching through the night lol We were greeted by our fabulous server Erin and quickly ordered 2 vodka cranberry with a splash of pineapple topped with cherries =) Wow less than a minute and she's back with our drinks...that's what I am talking about fast service Food: (sharing is caring) Short Rib Tacos minus cilantro because I am so not a fan of cilantro...Oooooo the short rib was cooked to perfection and melts in your mouth Fried Calamari...huge pieces of squid rings deep fried so yummy in the tummy then Onion Rings...huge pieces as well with equal portion of the yummy batter and onion slices Overall we definitely found a great gem with an amazing Happy Hour for $4 for Bud Light Draft and $5 for everything else. OMG definitely bookmark this spot and we will be back soon =)

The bartender was really nice. They have no menu for any cocktails or wine. The food certainly did not look appetizing. We decided to leave. They also have no volume on the TVs.

Good place to watch sports, menu selection just ok. But the drink selection is limit and the drinks were so watered down. Much more of a beer bar wouldn't recommend for cocktails at all.

Stopped as it was next to our hotel and we wanted a quick bite after traveling. Tasty tavern burger, we split one. The fries were good. It isn't mind blowing just a good tavern/pub for decent food.
