Excellent low-key bar for drinks, reading and some chips!!!

Nice bar and basement private hire room, but cocktails tasted watered down. Don’t mind paying for quality but don’t serve me watery drinks and charge me that rate . If your really a cocktail bar then learn how to make better cocktails or just rename to a bar as it’s very misleading.

This used to be a wonderful cocktail bar open to all - nowadays it's only open if being hired by a private function, so private parties only which is a pity. I don't understand why this isn't stated clearly as it still seems to be open for everyone just passing by! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I went there with friends last night . Nice atmosphere. Good service ! Had a gin&tonic ( double 😅) . I need to say was a bit pricey but was one of the best gins I ever had (a German one ) so in the end worth the money

At first i wasn't sure about going down to the cocktail bar, but I'm very very glad we all did. The bar manager was incredibly friendly, courteous and even made a delicious mocktail for one of us. The drinks were absolutely lovely and I'd recommend popping in if you're in the area.

Excellent venue for a party - had a big birthday here for 80 people. Atmosphere is 10/10 and the venue was very helpful in making sure everything went according to plan!

This place was everything we were hoping it would be - classic decor and cosy little booths, great music and excellent cocktails. I was looking forward to a proper old-fashioned and was not disappointed! We also tried a few from their happy hour list and found a couple of new favourites! Michael was a wonderful and attentive bartender - we recommend this place if you're looking for a bluesy laid-back corner of the world to enjoy some top-notch cocktails.

Great party food, we had sliders and chips. Drinks were all lovely and staff behind the bar were great. Ideal space for a late night party.
