Smoke BBQ Restaurant & Catering has completely won us over! As new locals to the area, we were on the hunt for a great BBQ spot, and this place is it. The ambiance is warm, welcoming, and perfect for enjoying a hearty meal. The service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and they provided some solid recommendations that made the experience even better. Now, the food: we ordered the 2-meat combo with brisket and pastrami, paired with baked beans, jalapeño potato salad, coleslaw, and mac and cheese. Everything was absolutely phenomenal, but the brisket and pastrami were next-level tender and flavorful. And the cornbread? Unreal! The cinnamon butter icing took it over the top—seriously fire. Their BBQ sauces were spot on, adding the perfect complement to any meat selection. And the sweet tea? Exactly what sweet tea should be: perfectly balanced, refreshing, and a must-have with your meal. Hands down, this is our new go-to BBQ spot. Honestly, it might be in my top 3 BBQ experiences ever. If you’re in the area, Smoke BBQ is where you need to go.

Love coming to this BBQ place for the best ribs in town. We purchased a family meal that included a full rack of ribs, a whole chicken, 3 large sides and corn bread. Their cornbread is so moist and sweet it’s almost like eating cake but hands down delicious. Baby back ribs are perfectly down and you have the option of getting side sauces so you can make it as flavourful as you want. The chicken is moist and seasoned to perfection. The Mac and cheese was hands down a show stopper. It was extra creamy and cheesy definitely stole the show and was gobbled up pretty quickly. The jalapeño potato salad was another favourite side. Definitely worth trying this place and making the trip.

The ribs are to die for. Great food and great customer service. I'll definitely add this to my list for the next time i visit.

Smoke catered my 4th of July party and it was excellent. Food was delivered warm and the driver set it all up very quickly. The food was delicious, especially the brisket which was juicy, tender and flavorful. Outstanding.

They catered my baby shower and were a full out hit! We ordered the brisket, the pulled pork, Mac, broccoli, and baked beans. The cornbread was phenomenal. The Mac was awesome and those beans on point. They were communicative and timely. And everyone went back for more. I’d highly recommend them to cater your event. Prices were reasonable considering the amount of food they give you. Loved it and I hope you will too. Can’t wait to dine in the restaurant to try the rest of the menu!

Low key BBQ in a unassuming location (the beach lol). This is perhaps some of the best BBQ in South Florida. Mac and cheese is delicious, my half chicken was very good, a bit dry this time, I’ve had better but still very tasty. They keep the sauces simple: only 3. Sausage was good as well.

I recently ordered Smoke BBQ for a baby shower luncheon at work, and let me tell you, this place exceeded all expectations! The ribs, chicken, and brisket were absolutely out of this world tender, flavorful, and just the right amount of smoky goodness. The Mac and cheese? Spectacular. It's that kind of comfort food that everyone keeps going back for, and I was worried I’d run out. People were literally going for seconds (which never happens, trust me!). On top of the amazing food, I really appreciated Michelle confirming my online order. Her communication was on point, and the delivery was spot on everything arrived fresh and hot, exactly as requested. If you're looking for top-notch BBQ, Smoke BBQ should definitely be your go-to. We will be ordering again.

I'm so disappointed. My sister recommended this place, and I'm not impressed. I got the 2 meat combo, the wings were rubbery, and the baby back ribs barely had any meat on it. The vinegar in the coleslaw was very overpowering, and the baked macaroni & cheese was sloppy. The tables were sticky. Now my stomach is hurting. If you're looking for great ribs, check out Chef Tally's in West Park / Pembroke Pines area.

Friendly staff. Fit and feel of a barnyard bbq joint, but in a strip mall. The pulled pork was very tender and the flavor of swine was incredible, did not need a whole lot of bbq sauce. The cheddar sausage was super juicy and abundant. You actually taste the cheese. The baked beans are unique, in a good way. I'm not much of a slaw person, so I'll hold my comments for other yelpers. It's harder than one might think to find good bbq in south Florida, especially in Broward, it's def worth a try and for those in north and west broward, make a day of it by the water, Mission BBQ and 4Rivers will still be there.

Let's talk about it! On my first visit, I had the brisket--bland with no seasoning or bark. Not a fan of their BBQ sauces either. The jalapeño potato salad was okay, mac and cheese was basic, and I make better cornbread at home. Gave it another shot and tried the two-meat combo: sausage and ribs. Sausage came out oddly cold, and the ribs were nothing special--Flanagan's does them better. The chips were tasty, but the mac was still mid, and I ended up tossing the cornbread again. That cinnamon sauce? Definitely not it.

Superior beef brisket, very good baby back ribs. And consistent--we went there several times over a 2 week period--always high quality. Kind of weak a/c, so better for take-out than eat-in

This last time we got the pastrami sandwich. A large portion of meat in between two slices of soft bread. The size of the sandwich was huge....two of us adults shared one sandwich and we were completely full. Great portion size, crunchy and crispy potato chips. Nice staff. Reasonable prices.

Ordered some brisket for my dad's 60th birthday dinner and loved it! Ordering was quick and simple via a call, and I was able to confirm a time to pickup. I was visiting from out of town so I'm not familiar with the area, but it took me about 25 mins to get there, and I was able to find parking by the restaurant. The brisket was tender and flavorful and sauces were also provided at request. Would certainly visit again to try out other items on the menu!

Ordered Togo , service was quick. Food was hot. Everything was delicious and they gave plenty of sauces to go with all the meats. Even a nice spicy bbq. Place had a cute bbq style atmosphere reminded me of being back home in Texas .

Walking in you didn't smell any BBQ & it was very hot inside the restaurant odd right ? It's called smoke BBQ me and partner looked passed the empty restaurant and no cooking meat smell to order lady was cleaning tables walking in she said hi and finished to take our order cook was right next to her & didn't say a word lol okay ? It was a bucket of chicken out that looked raw I asked was it cooked hoping it was she said it was pre cooked odd for a bbq spot didn't ask anything else of it we both got the 8 piece wing plate I got the coleslaw & Mac for my two sides it included cornbread my partner ordered the potato salad & tater tots we added 2 sodas to our order for 1.75 each total came to 48.20 wings we give them a 4 all together they weren't clean still has hair on them & was very dry and fried thought I ordered bbq wings off the grill not plan fried wings disappointed the Mac was okay very cheesy but lukewarm I give it a 4 coleslaw was very mustardy I give it a 5 cornbread was the best being at a 7 the tater tots looked very dark like the oil was dirty he gave them a 1 his potato salad he said was a 5 & the cornbread a 8 overall we won't be back bring back real BBQ Fl we miss it

Nothing fancy, just fantastic BBQ. I had the house special Austin sandwich. Plenty of sausage and brisket--just darn good! My wife had the smoked turkey-incredibly juicy! Don't leave without having the tater tots or house made potato chips!

This place was super cute on the inside. The staff was so polite and overall we really enjoyed our visit. Let's start with the good...the ribs were exceptional. My kiddo had chicken wings and they were so crispy and flavorful and she said they were the best she's ever had. Pulled pork was also very good. I really enjoyed the potato salad, it was so delicious. I am a bit of a Mac n cheese snob, so I never order it, but my husband did, and let me tell you, it was SO good. Cornbread was top notch. I was really looking forward to the brisket, but unfortunately, it fell short. It was really bland. That was a total bummer. The other thing is that our group did not love their bbq sauces. Having said that, the ribs were sauced, but it tasted different than the bbq sauces they had out. I would definitely come again!

Smoke, you missed the mark tonight. We have been local fans for years. It's been a while, but the little was asking for ribs. We ordered to-go. The whole rack of ribs were dry and over done. $30 and totally not worth this batch. My pulled pork was a generous portion and great texture, not dry, but completely lacked flavor. Like, zero flavor to be had. My husband got the pastrami and it was by far the best bang for our buck. However, he asked for pickles and you had none. No pickles at a bbq restaurant!? That seemed odd to me. The coleslaw was great. Tangy in the right way and was delicious as a dip for the house chips. Smoke, what happened!? Please tell me this was a fluke and you are not getting lazy.

I like Smoke. The decor is like an old fashioned bbq place but it's clean! The ribs are good I had a rack. I wish I liked their side dishes more but I think they are an acquired taste. The tater tots are super crunchy. The cornbread is fine. The baked beans are interesting. All acquired taste ;). The ribs and the sauce = so good!

I ordered a 10 person catering package for my team. Delivery was on time and well packaged. The portions were large and we had a lot of leftovers. The chicken was flavorful and delicious. The brisket was excellent, moist and smokey. The Mac and cheese was average but the baked beans were amazing! The highlight for the sides was the cornbread with the cinnamon butter, so good! I will be back.

Great place off the beaten path in the Gault ocean Mile but absolutely delicious I recommend the two meat combo. The pastrami is really good and recommended. the beans were also great. the mac n cheese was ok. the corn bread was delicious. overall 4/5 stars. recommended!

The first time ordered a couple of weeks ago, I got the jalepeno cheddar sausage, baby back ribs and spare ribs, which were all excellent. But, my favorite is beef ribs, and it wasn't Saturday night. I also had baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, mac n cheese, and cornbread. I really like the unique flavors they have on all of their sides. They are all great. They have three bbq sauces. My favorite is the spiciest sauce. Today, I ordered for the second time, and it is a Saturday. So, I ordered the beef rib and a few sides. When it arrived, I was surprised by how big it was. I've eaten beef ribs all over the country. But, I have to say this is the best beef rib (probably the best any type of rib) that I have ever eaten, anywhere. It was so flavorful and tender. I'm hooked. Next time, I'm coming into the restaurant to eat them right off the cooker. Thanks Smoke BBQ. I'm so glad you're just a few minutes drive down the road from me.

Tried Smoke BBQ and was not disappointed. I tried the chicken wings and they have a great flavor. The cornbread tastes SO GOOD and comes with a honey butter that's delicious. I highly recommend!

Stopped by weekend lunch time, pulled pork plate and 2 meat combo. They were so good, came with two sides and cornbread. Cinnamon sugar butter was very good with cornbread, meat was so smoky and juicy. Baked beans, veggies and Mac and cheese were all delicious. They have sweet and Carolina style BBQ sauce which I missed a lot. service was fast and good.

The BEST Beef rib available only on Saturday is a trip worth taking out to "Lauderdale by the Sea" - LBTS. Side dishes are good, but hands down the Beef rib is the King. Service is good & laidback. Ambiance is casual. Enjoy this hidden gem.

I first experienced Smoke thanks to an employer who used their catering service for a group of 30. It was delicious then...and it was delicious tonight when my family and I tried the restaurant for the first time. We all ordered the Two Meat & 2 sides + cornbread and it was DELICIOUS. Between us, we had the brisket, baby back ribs, pulled pork, tater tots, coleslaw, mac 'n cheese (wow!), and cornbread (so we got to try all sorts of things). It was all good...but the brisket was 5 star. The atmosphere was perfect for us -- not too noisy or crowded, casual, low-key but thoughtfully designed atmosphere and clean. We've tried Mission BBQ on Oakland Park a few times and Smoke is SO MUCH BETTER in every way. Love the cinnamon topping that is an option to put on the cornbread -- perfect way to end a great meal. And, the staff was friendly and welcoming.

I ordered catered food for about 12 people and went with low and slow: 2 meats and 2 sides with cornbread and mixed rolls. Everyone that ate it loved it. They all asked "where did you get this from?" Jalapeño potato salad was awesome to pair with the beef brisket and wings. Baked Mac and cheese may have been the favorite. Total cost was $188. Hard to beat that value and people enjoying it. I'll be back. Awesome place that deserves your time and money.

Worth the drive from out West to this little gem in E Ft Laud. Step up to the counter place an order and within a few minutes a delicious meal will be brought to your table. Food was excellent and served warm. Options to get full meal with sides or to get meat only. Chicken and meat variety are ample. Service made a difference as the cashier as pleasant and welcoming. Will be back!! Small location with lots of outgoing orders so you should be good to find a seat. It's also cute inside and not boring.

They had me at the jalapeno cheddar sausage but really brought it home with the creamy mac and cheese. Or was it those ribs or pulled pork?? The cornbread? Ah decisions . . .decisions! The idea that BBQ catered food could come on time, still be hot and delicious and please this non BBQ lovin gal was amazing to me. I was going to cater in cold sandwiches and salads, my regular lunch go to, but when my client requested BBQ I had to do some research as I really don't eat it very often excluding 4th of July picnics. Yelp to the rescue as I looked for places others would choose. Online ordering was simple. The only hiccup was I didn't get an online confirmation like they said I would so I did end up calling the day before just to make sure someone had it on their radar and they did. And be sure to add in plates and tongs and other serving utensils if you need them. Easy enough to do and you aren't running around the office kitchen looking for utensils! I ordered the dinner suggestion of your choice of 4 meats and 3 sides and had ribs, pulled pork, that amazing sausage, and chicken along with mac and cheese, chips and coleslaw. Wanted tator tots but figured the chips would travel better. And that cornbread with that sweet butter? I think I died and went to heaven. All in all this was one pretty tasty meal and my client loved it. Heck, I might just be off of salads for lunch forever!

I've eaten BBQ my whole life (Texas, Kansas, Carolinas, Tennessee), and there's just no way this place deserves its 4* rating here on Yelp. No way !! Ridiculous that so many people find this place legit ?! Babyback ribs were ok, the brisket was dry, but the chicken was actually not bad in comparison. The "root beer" baked beans were mush, cornbread overdone, and the cole slaw was decent. Ribs and brisket portions were small as we ordered a "two meat" plate. Guess I got suckered into another un-reliable Yelp restaurant rating that's a total farce. Good luck to the rest of you 'cause this place is just below average at best. 2 stars.

3.75 really. Service was very nice. We split the two meat combo. We got pastrami and baby back ribs. Both were good. Moist. Good flavor. Luke warm and small portions were the complaints here. Sides we got Mac n cheese. Very unique flavor. Good. Not sure what cheese they use but it was tasty. Potato salad also good. Cornbread was pretty decent. Little dry. But the butter was amazing. Place could use some cleaning of tables but nice inside and they give water for free. If I was in the area. I would go again.

Great casual BBQ spot! My husband and I were looking for a BBQ spot for lunch and came across the reviews of Smoke BBQ. The Hype is true! Very casual atmosphere, metal chairs and simple tables. The food is served on "cafeteria" trays lined with paper. The menu has a ton of options. I chose 2 meats combo (brisket and baby back ribs) with tater tots and baked Mac and cheese (highly recommend!) and hubby went for spare ribs and brisket with house made potato chips and baked Mac'nCheese. All the items had great flavor! The table next to us had chicken wings on the tray and they looked awesome so we are going to try those next time around.

First time trying it out, and I'll definitely come back. This is a good bbq spot in FtL. In my opinion, not the best, but very good. Probably the best pastrami I have tried so far in the area. We did a little tour of the menu. Pulled pork, brisket, pastrami, baby back ribs, burnt ends, Mac and cheese, root beer beans, corn bread. The pastrami stood out above all else. The brisket was probably our least favorite thing on the menu. The burnt ends were amazing as well. The max and cheese was by far the best side. The cornbread was awesome. They don't have fountain sodas, so you buy by the bottle. They do have water and tea as well. They have bottled beer too, if that's on your thing. We didn't try dessert, but based on everything else, I'm sure it would be good. Service was good. There was no line when we were there, so we were served fast and were able to easily grab a table. The parking kinda stinks. Spots are hard to find, and they are metered. Overall, great spot that I'll surely be back to. Check 'em out

I enjoyed everything about Smoke BBQ from the smells of the smoked meats, the sweet tea and the pleasant customer service. I ordered the 2 meat combo with chicken and pastrami. The order comes with 2 sides & cornbread. I ordered the steamed vegetables and macaroni & cheese for my sides. I haven't had smoked pastrami before so this was a special treat. The spicy mustard sauce paired perfectly with the pastrami which was tender and juicy. The chicken had a nicely charred crust and was delicious. The mac n' cheese was creamy and cheesy and the steamed broccoli had a great garlic flavor. We also ordered another combo with burnt ends and brisket. The burnt ends were marinated in some kind of teriyaki sauce or a honey soy glaze which was unexpected. It was good but I would've preferred it without all the sauce. The smoked brisket was tender and juicy. I look forward to coming back to try some of the different menu combinations.

Always a solid meal. Good portions and at a reasonable price. The main meats are worth alternating. My favorite sides are mac and cheese, jalepeno cilantro potato salad along with the sautéed veggies. Don't miss out on the cake cornbread with cinnamon butter-as good as dessert. The bbq sauces are good too. Great spot close to the beach!

Absolutely amazing. Steady flow of people the entire time we were there and service was quick. Plenty of seating- sit where you want and they call your name and bring you over the food. Everything was smoked and had an incredible flavor. Meat was falling off the bone- if only this photo could communicate the outstanding taste. I love that they had a water station and homemade sauces (BBQ, Spicy, and Carolina- try all 3). Seriously the best BBQ we've had in a long time- do the two meat combo you won't be disappointed! The pulled pork is tender, smoky, and juicy. It's delicious even without BBQ sauce. The brisket is very flavorful. The wings are smoked and then fried, taking your palette to a whole new level. You might have to buy extra cornbread, because there is never enough of that golden slice of heaven. And the mac and cheese! Get some! The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The place feels like a small town restaurant with a big town taste. Try all their sauces!!

Very good BBQ. Walking in smelled good so I knew it would be good. The ribs and brisket were delicious. The hot bbq sauce was amazing with plenty of heat. Can't wait to order again!

The brisket and ribs are nice. The chips are good. The broccoli is in butter and not my thing. They offer tater tots rather than French fries. I go there mostly because they are close by.

Food poisoning....twice. I ordered from Smoke a few weeks ago only to spend the rest of the night in the bathroom. I thought maybe a coincidence or just got a bad batch of something so I gave it another try last night, only to find myself vomiting all night. Never again.

Another excellent meal. Reminds me of old motorcycle trips to Memphis and The Delta. Real deal smoke, tart slaw and delicious cornbread and meats.

Came here for the first time tonight and could immediately tell why this spot has had such a great rating. Awesome little vibe when you walk in- reminds me of the BBQ joints in Texas. Kind of forgot I was in South Florida! My boyfriend and I tried the ribs, pulled pork, Mac n cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread. Ratings as follows: Ribs: 10/10 Pulled pork: 10/10 Mac n cheese: 10/10 (super surprised!) Coleslaw: 9/10 Cornbread: 7/10 We also really enjoyed the original BBQ sauce, as well as the Carolina Gold (vinegar based). In addition to the awesome food and atmosphere, the girl working behind the register was super friendly. We can't wait to come back!

Every time I go to a barbecue restaurant I always find that even though one or two meats are outstanding there's usually some other meats that are just so so, not at this place! Literally everything, and I mean everything with our meal had outstanding flavor and was cooked perfectly. We ordered the coleslaw, the vegetables which was broccoli, the ribs, the smoked chicken wings, and the beef brisket. Not one of these items let us down and there were three of us sharing it all. They have a few sauces to try to dip for any of the meats, but the meats were so good it really didn't even need much sauce! The customer service was really good with the woman at the cash giving us information about what they offer and the gentleman serving us the food as we sat outside at one of their three tables. There's also a few tables inside, well more like picnic tables, but we chose outside due to the pandemic. My only complaint was that I had to ask for paper plates, they only offer rolls of industrial paper towels instead of napkins, and I also had to ask for a wet naps.

Okay, coming from a woman who isn't into big chunks of meat and bbq restaurants, I must say that this place took me by surprise! I had the austin sandwich- which comes with the tastiest homemade potato chips! I took the bun offand devoured this sandwich, it was full of flavor. I also odered the jalepeno mustard potato salad that was soo good. Joel ordered ribs & cold slaw (ALL of their sides are homemade), and you could just taste the love in this food. The service was great and we'll definitely come back if we're in the area again and my husband is craving bbq.

Rustic ambiance but finger licking good food! Meats are nice and tender, juicy and great flavor. Add some of those bbq sauce or other sauces and the flavors explode in you mouth! The max and cheese side is perfect abs creamy. The cornbread with cinnamon butter is a perfect accompaniment! Def our go to when in Fort Lauderdale

I was in the mood for BBQ and I happened to run into Smoke BBQ and I am so glad I did! It's a small little BBQ joint right nearby the beach and it is definitely a spot to try if you are in the area. I opted for the Pulled Pork sandwich and it came with house made chips. I wish I could've picked a different side but the chips were very tasty! I also got a side of coleslaw and it was phenomenal! It had a mustardy taste which made it unique but in a good way. The sandwich was also filled with meat and the options for BBQ sauces to add to your food all tasted great! The 1/2 pulled chicken meal was also really tasty. I loved the Mac n cheese, however the corn bread was a little small. One knock I have to give the restaurant is the drink station. It just didn't look up to par with a restaurant and I avoided it completely. I'd say bring your own drink or get this BBQ to go so you can avoid it. Overall, I'd come back and I'd like to try some of the other sandwich options on the menu. One that really caught my eye is the pastrami sandwich so that will be what I try next.
