"Fast-casual sandwich shop Smoked & Stacked plans to close this week, as confirmed by Eater, but the Shaw neighborhood won’t have to lose the house-smoked pastrami developed by one of Washington’s most prominent chefs. Chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley, opened Smoked & Stacked with the Tin Shop in September 2016 and has since gained recognition, including a two-star review from Washington Post critic Tom Sietsema." - Gabe Hiatt

At first, I thought it was a little pricey. BUT then we had a pastrami sandwich on homemade milk bread and I was SOLD. The meat was stacked high and that bread was so delicious. We will definitely go again. I met the owner and the food and wine festival at National Harbor. Loved every bite!

I came to Smoked and Stacked in search of pastrami. They did not disappoint; the flavor was excellent. The portion on the sandwich was generous, but the cut was a little thick. The consistency of the meat was more like corned beef. I highly recommend the milk bread. It is on the pricey side; you'll be over $15 for a sandwich, bag of chips, and a drink. Definitely worth a try if you like pastrami.

I had "the messy", it was delicious. Would definitely recommend. My party was staying near the convention center. Convenient location and fast service. Price was reasonable considering the sandwich size. Great place for lunch.

Stopped in at Smoked & Stacked for a late breakfast. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I ordered a New Yorker. It was a very tasty, large breakfast sandwich with pastrami, eggs, sausage, and cheese. The coffee was better that expected. I look forward to trying the lunch menu. The restaurant has limited seating so either get there early or plan on take-away.

Past Smoked & Stacked the day before but was closed when I returned for dinner. Was determine to go and give a try and was not disappointed....and glad for my persistence. I ordered "The Messy" and it was awesome. Highly recommend.

Sandwiches are very tasty. Pastrami is spot on, Very east coast style flavor. Also, my friend just let try his chicken sandwich. Omg, I'm getting the chicken next time.

Good service but food didn't taste smoked at all. BBQ sauce doesn't even taste like BBQ. Food was average. Don't come here for smoked BBQ food.
