3 Day Trips from Key West: Islamorada, Dry Tortugas & Key Largo | Condé Nast Traveler

"While Snappers has long been a Key Largo icon, it’s also a popular stopping point for travelers making their way from Miami to Key West (it’s about a 90-minute drive from South Beach), so prepare for a crowd and plan your trip accordingly. The waterfront setting, old-school décor, and history of the place make it rather boisterous regardless of whether you stop in for lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch (which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features live jazz plus a build-your-own-Bloody Mary bar). The food leans Caribbean, and the menu changes slightly each day based on what's fresh—the hallmark of any great seafood joint—but you can't miss if you order the gator bites (lest there be any confusion, made from actual gator). If you’ve spent the day doing some fishing of your own, they’ll also cook up your personal catch of the day." - Jennifer M. Wood, Terry Ward

We came here on a whim and I’m so glad that we did. The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is relaxed and vibrant, and being right by the water makes for such a beautiful dining experience—the views are stunning! One of the best parts of the night was meeting the executive chef. He came out to greet us and was incredibly friendly—by the end of the evening, it felt like we were part of the family! He mentioned a few dishes on the menu that he personally created, and of course we had to try them—they did not disappoint. My kids are still talking about the fried Oreos for dessert—they were a huge hit! Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and we’re already looking forward to going back.

We came in by boat at low tide for brunch listening to the soothing sounds of dockside music. When coming toward Snappers from the water, stay to the right of the green marker, just along the tree line. (See videos) For us, it went very well and docking was a breeze here. We did see a large rock out in open not far from the entrance to Snappers channel so keep a lookout! Lobster omelet was delicious and the French toast was tasty! Snappers is always a popular option for dining (one of our favorites!) but it was our first time arriving by boat and first time for brunch! It was a Snap! Service is always great here, thank you Marco. Oh and it’s dog friendly! They’ll bring your pup a water dish!

We came all the way from Atlanta and seattle and tell me why David, Gave us such great service provided us with menu details and recommendations! Then Stebe The sous chef came out and totally gave us amazing hospitality, and recommended fish Preferences since they were out of hog fish, but we did get a hot fish, a triple fish, and a yellowtail hands-down, the mahi-mahi bites and everything was great! They recommended a Keylime pie, which was the perfect tart and sweetness! My family…. Satisfying in a full Of deliciousness in the ballet, I would recommend this place!, Especially since we had a 2 Hour Dr., they turned into a 3 1/2 hour drive. Thank you, snapper and thank you David and Steve!!! From full and satisfied belly!

Google
The location is just perfect! The service though is really lacking. Took a while to even be seen by the hostess then they continued a conversation with an en employee. Once we were seated the waitress was nice. It took forever to get food though and she started to not come back to check on us. The food was good. The jambalaya is to die for! The lack of key west pinks as a shrimp option was disappointing. When you are charging that much for a fried shrimp basket I would expect to have something other than farm raised frozen shrimp.

Laurie was awesome! Super friendly, super attentive, and just made the whole experience better. You can tell she really cares about her guests. Drinks were never empty, food came out perfect, and she had great energy the whole time. If you're heading to Snappers, ask for Laurie—you won’t be disappointed!

Really enjoyed this very "Keysey" waterfront dining experience! I was working nearby as a Wedding DJ in Key Largo/Tavernier , for a destination wedding, and sooo glad I stopped in! Let's start with the relaxing views and vibe, which are not to be missed. Then there was the warm, friendly service courtesy of Amanda & Katy, which adds to the experience. Even met Chef Floyd who was caf! Lol If you're in a hurry, this is not the best choice, as it's really laid back and relaxed, and service can be slow, yet it's a "so what" typa thing. Come and relax. Food was really tasty. I had the Mahi sandwich on very tasty home made multi grain bread (although menu said it was whole wheat). Fries were golden brown and cooked to perfection. Second visit had tasty Mahi Bites and the dipping sauce made it even tastier! Had a side of tostones which were also tasty, golden brown and crunchy! There's live entertainment 7 nights a week and they add daytime entertainment on weekends as well. Highly recommend! Come, relax, and enjoy!! It's a lil off the main road and easy to miss, but don't miss it!

after spending some time in the Keys. Since I work at another restaurant under the same company, I thought it’d be the perfect chance to stop by—and I’m so glad I did! Alex, the manager, was amazing and made us feel incredibly welcome. Our server, David, was fantastic—he took the time to share his favorite dishes and gave us great insight into the menu. The food was phenomenal. I had the lobster roll, and it was absolutely delicious. The setting is just as impressive—such a beautiful restaurant right on the water. I’ll definitely be back. Loved everything about this experience!

This was our second meal here in three nights, and both dinners and the fun cocktails were amazing! We had the Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken and the famous crab cakes. Tonight the blackened mahi bites and mahi macos, also the clam spinach dip and another Mediterranean salad. Mutiny Rum Punch and Hemingway martini- both amazing cocktails. Our dessert of deep fried oreos with vanilla ice cream was totally delicious, definitely a must to top off a great experience. Excellent service, friendly and fun staff, incredible food all served to you and friends right on the water.

Yelp
Snappers is the place to enjoy cold cocktails and hot fresh made food. Seems to be a local favorite hang out with a lots of beer choices too! Had a quick bite while listening to the band and enjoying the Florida sunshine Large menu to choose from We had a large salad topped with grilled fish and the alfredo pasta topped with blackened shrimp. Will stop back by on our way back though town to see our new favorite restaurant and server Nathalie

Yelp
Pulling up, we almost left but boy am I glad we didn't. Walking through the dining room to the outdoor patio, it's stunning. They had live music and he was terrific. Food was very good. We had the mahi bites for an app and they were so tender and good. I had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Our non-alcoholic drinks were refilled without asking (a sign of excellent service). Very impressed! Great experience!

Yelp
Tried this place for lunch because it was next to my stay. Its right on the oceanfront and has really nice relaxed vibes! Service is great. Food is good too. Mainly seafood. I am not a fan of sea food but this was so freah and well made. Loved it. Decor is great too and you can easily get table. Place is busy though which shows it is a local hit spot too. Must try if visiting keys.

Cristi F.

Yelp
Food was decent. Service was terrible. They were also out of shrimp so you couldn't order half the menu. No one came around to check on drinks or even to order a second round. Would not return.

Yelp
Good food, decent prices for the experience, and service was great. We came on a Sunday and got a seat outside after a short wait. There was hardly anyone dining inside as it was a really nice day out and the inside vibe does not even compare to sitting outside so I definitely recommend coming on a nice day. I really liked the variety of food options on the menu and they were all reasonably priced. Our food was really fresh and tasty. And our service was quick but not rushed. A great option of somewhere to stop if you are driving through or visiting key largo!

Kimberly V.

Yelp
The BEST apart of my review will be the location and the view. On our latest visit staff to take your name were slow. Wait time provided seems long considering there were empty tables. Finally sat at outdoor table for 2 and waited very patiently to be acknowledged by waiter. Over wait staff slow and had to ask for sweetener for ice tea 3 times over 20 minutes to arrive. Now for the revised menu - prices on several items were inflated like skirt steak for $48...when did that become normal for this location. Menu now limited but I will say the clam chowder and conch chowder soups were tasty but arrived luke warm/cold. Having been to this establishment many times over the past years, not sure if management or ownership changed but we are crossing this restaurant off the list of restaurants to go to in Key Largo.

Yelp
After dining at Snappers since their inception (1982), unfortunately we won't be going back. The food and service are mediocre at best. No bartender at the bar during our lunch hour visit. No flexibility in our food and drink requests. The charm and the magic are gone.

Yelp
We went to Sappers for Sunday brunch, and, once again the food and service were exceptional. We made a reservation and then arrived a teeny bit early, but were met with a super nice host and server. We noted on the way in that there was live music - score! And, even before our food arrived the executive chef stopped by to great us! Really a nice touch. I had a brunch mimosa and the eggs Benedict - the home fries were super good. Wayne had a Bloody Mary and a crab cake Benedict - I think it is called the Neptune. Note that we both like to get hollandaise on the side - I find a little goes a long way. The brunch was good, and we finished our cocktails over in front of the musician.

Yelp
Fun waterfront spot in Key Largo. We stopped here for a bite on our way back from Key West and this was the perfect finish to our getaway! Food was delicious. I had the shrimp patty burger and honestly, was blown away by how much I enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend going for seafood items on the menu but my husband had a chicken sandwich and he enjoyed it as well. Lavender lemonade cocktail was perfectly refreshing for the hot summer weather. The waterfront views are beautiful. Definitely stop-worthy in Key Largo!

Yelp
Snappers is a great spot right on the water with plenty of outside and bar seating. Live music made our dinner extra fun. The key lime colada was so good!! Fried coconut shrimp was a huge portion and delicious and fresh. Great prices for the area as well.

B M.

Yelp
All the information online is mostly false. There is no happy hour menu for food. And if you decide to come with kids be prepared to have them sit at another table if you want the horrible bar happy hour deals.

Yelp
Amazing as always! What is better than enjoying the best smoked fish dip while relaxing to the tunes of live entertainment and sipping on a yummy drink? From the crab legs to the mahi sandwich......Snappers is the place to be. Chef Floyd is the best and will take good care of you! Every time I visit the keys, I find myself at Snappers at least once a day!

Eric ..

Yelp
Poor service, inconsistent food, but the patio and tiki are great. I was a local for ~5 years. We stopped going for about 3 years because the service was so bad. Under new management, not much has changed. Tried it 2x in two weeks..... Poor service - Inattentive and/or incapable bartenders. Its generally tough to keep good help in the keys. They still have a couple of good eggs (Kirk & Arial) but with Kiki gone, the revolving door of poor bartenders continues. Two specific instances in the last two weeks where the tall, dark-haired young lady at the downstairs bar was just bad. Delivering 2 of 3 drinks in my order and then waiting on pretty much everyone else in the bar before pouring the glass of wine?? Then coming back with an attitude that I'm still standing there? Second time (same server) our food comes out 15 minutes after the couple we were dining with. Huh? I asked - yes, our tickets were split when the orders went to the back of the house. That tells me everything I need to know about where the issue is. We only went back because the couple we were dining with are long-time locals and like the place. The view and outdoor space remains great. Too bad they can't get their act together otherwise. There are 15+ places within 5 mins that do it better & more consistently well.

Yelp
A great setting on the water for cocktails lunch or dinner , we arrived around 6 pm and waited just a few minutes at the bar for our table on the water . Fresh mahi bites to start along with regular and jalapeño margaritas , both options very yummy and the mahi bites so fresh not frozen and you can tell the difference in the tenderness of the mahi. Dinner was seafood scampi chucked full of mussels scallops and shrimp in a delightful lemon garlic sauce and pasta, along with hogfish with their special prep with Parmesan and pepper relish along with lemon butter , so good , accompanied by a baked sweet potato as the starch. We ended with key lime pie made in house and deliciously tart and creamy with a great crust , 2nd best key lime we had on our trip through the keys ( shout out to SS Wreck for the best) Great dinner and service !

Yelp
Brian our server.he was top notch. Food outstanding. Service next level. Brian our server was second to none! Great views with water front views.

Yelp
Great waterfront spot! All the Florida Keys restaurants have such good space! We sat out on the back deck right on the water and had a really nice lunch on our way south to Islamorada. Service was friendly. The bar area is substantial. The oceanside views are awesome. We watched the jet skis take off while we ate salads and fresh fish. This will become a part of our Florida Keys travel routine, definitely!
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome place! The food was delicious! I heard this place gets quite busy (which is a good sign--it means it's great!), so we ordered appetizers and our main dishes right away. I hadn't even finished my appetizer when the main dish arrived! By the way, I highly recommend the mahi-mahi and baked clam appetizers. The crab legs were fantastic too! They even made me a Bloody Mary, even though it wasn't on the menu. Live music and friendly staff make this place super cozy. Definitely give it a try!

Yelp
One star for oceanfront. I rarely utilize this platform to write a review unless I feel like it's necessary. My family of four with two small children went yesterday at 5pm for dinner. The hostesses were confused about what tables were available, so we shuffled around for a bit. When sat, the waiter couldnt admit the order properly. We asked for a dozen oysters and were given 6, then charged for 12. $38 per dozen btw. I'm born and raised in Florida and have never seen anything like that especially at a dive. $8 tap beer. I ordered a grouper sandwich and instead of normal LTO and tartar, it had frozen carrots and cauliflower obviously from a California mix frozen bag. I'll post a pic. Awful. $140 for a beer, mixed drink, fish tacos, grouper sandwich, 6 oysters, and a hamburger. I live across the street, and love the keys, but avoid.

Yelp
Overall a nice oceanfront restaurant in which their main draw is the atmosphere and view and not the food. Decided to bring all the mothers in the family for a Mother's Day outing in the keys and chose Snappers based on the some recommendations. They have their own parking lot across the street with plenty of spots. Unfortunately they didn't take reservations so we had to wait an hour and a half for a table of eight outside. They had available seating inside but we didn't drive almost two hours to sit inside, so we waited. During the wait Julie the hostess was very friendly and was able to give me a run down of all her best recommendations along with a breakdown of what was busy and slow seasons. While we waited we walked around and they had live music outside which is great to grab a drink at the bar and listen to some tunes by the water. We finally got seated and our server Walter came and quickly took all our orders. It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze outside by the water. Our drinks came and my mojito tasted like it was left at the bar and became watered down. So I opted for a Corona as I at least new what to expect with that. For apps we had Conch fritters, gator bites and the fish dip. The conch fritters were the best of the three basically by default. Gator bites were super small and more breading than anything else, not worth the price at all! The fish dip was ok. Nothing to write home about. For entrees we had the HogFish Dakota style, another HogFish grilled, Shrimp 2 Ways, Fish Sandwich and the Seared Yellowfish Tuna. The HogFish was ok. For 42 dollars I was hoping I could select what my two sides were. Instead you only get to pick a starch and the veggies are automatically included. Well what if I don't want veggies?!? At 42 bucks I should be able to choose whatever I want. And for the record, we were given green beans for veggies (because you cant even choose your veggies) and they were hard and both of us that got HogFish, left the veggies on the plate. The Fish Sandwich also felt lackluster. It was Mahi inside two pieces of sliced bread with some frozen fries on the side. Very lazy. The Shrimp 2 Ways was actually nice but the risotto was not done all the way and it was still crunchy. Overall the food was just ok, the cocktails were eh and what you are left with is the view. And in my opinion it is why people go here in the first place. Would I come back here again? Probably not. Nothing at all said I gotta drive all the way to Key Largo for. But I will say staff was friendly and attentive for the most part.
google avatar

Lori E.

Yelp
The food was delightful, I had the clam chowder and it was incredible. The hog fish was very tasty in a champagne sauce (Dakota style). My friend had the coconut shrimp basket and LOVED the shrimp. The hush puppies were over cooked and the drink I ordered was supposed to come with purée but didn't , and it took a bit for the server to bring me some in a glass. Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable experience and I will be back. The ambience was beautiful too!
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
Mandy, our server was great. We had the fish tacos and cheese cake for dessert. Both tasty! When we visit Key Largo again this will be our go to!
google avatar

Deniece W.

Yelp
We stopped in for an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Thankfully it wasn't busy, but I can tell during high tourist season, you'll probably need to make a reservation. We sat out back on their patio that overlooked the water. They had fans and it wasn't swelteringly hot hot, so it was nice. There's also a sports bar area in the back. Our server was friendly and informative. We started with the gator bites, which were delicious. My bf had the house-made crab cake. It was a little small, but tasty. It was served with a Bahamian cocktail sauce that was great. I had the shrimp Dakota style, which was amazing. We also tried the draft lavender lemonade cocktail. It was light and refreshing. Prices are what you expect for the Keys. This place had exactly what I was looking for in a chill, laid back Keys dining experience. I'll definitely be coming here again.
google avatar

Janice J.

Yelp
Lovely setting on the water. I really enjoyed watching the fish and birds. They also have ample parking which is sometimes hard to find in the Keys. My husband and I came with two other couples. We split two appetizers and enjoyed some soup. The ahi tuna nachos were delicious and made perfectly to split with two people. Their version of spicy shrimp was ok. It could use some more sauce. I cannot remember what everyone ordered. I do know that the shrimp scampi over pasta was garlicky and a little dry, and those who ordered a dessert loved them. The reason for 3 stars is that we were seated at a picnic table right in the center of the deck where every server seemed to go by us or around us for at least 10-15 minutes, my friend timed it, before anyone greeted us or took our drink order.
google avatar

Tiffany F.

Yelp
The ceviche and tuna tartare were both good--fresh and flavorful. My friend and I also split the grouper sandwich, which was good overall, though I wasn't a fan of the pickled vegetables that came on it. The outside seating was a highlight; it was a beautiful day, and the service was great. Great spot for enjoying fresh seafood outdoors!
google avatar

Feather F.

Yelp
Snapper was great ! New turtle club is beautiful ! I had the dove creek grouper & a Jalepino margarita! Best part was our server Amanda !!! We'll be back soon !!!

Lorenzo S.

Yelp
Pros: The view and the "place" is spectacular. The waiter, David, was quite good, though never volunteered any information but fully and competently answered questions put to him. Cons. The time between our order and the time it was served was close to an hour way too long and it had consequences. Two of our party of seven enjoyed their food, the others did not. My fish was hard and tasteless and cool as if it sat under a "heat lamp" for a long part of the near hour that we waited for our food. I would not recommend this place.
google avatar

Joe N.

Yelp
**Under New Management** Typically we stay away from restaurants that are transitioning to new owners etc.. We're very thankful we didn't this time. The service and FOOD (thanks Chef Floyd) were excellent! Started with the Smoked Fish Spread, let me tell you what an amazing "spread" it was. Plenty of red onion, capers, banana peppers, olives all served with crackers, sliced cucumber and celery. I then had the "Boston style" lobster roll. This sandwich was delicious, not the old tired seafood salad type roll with too much mayo (the lobster was the star). My lunch date had coconut shrimp, obviously made in-house, not your typical frozen coconut shrimp. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! Water side fine dining with a completely laid back setting.

Yelp
The food was very good if you like seafood that is. We had the mahi mahi appetizer, clam chowder soup, snapper, and fish fingers for the kiddo. Just heads up whatever it says is spicy it's spicy . So if you don't like spicy or just a little bit - Don't! The service was great, just keep in mind that it's not that big of a restaurant so if it's raining or about to- Then they'll get crowded and you may have to wait longer to get a table. The ambiance outside was my favorite for the obvious reasons scenery and bar area plus some live music On the inside was a bit more serious but still chill and nice restrooms were clean and spacious. Also plenty of souvenirs at their little shop by the host station

K M.

Yelp
Wish I could rate 0 stars. Worst service I've had in a decade at least. Maybe 2. Place seemed extremely short staffed, but they should have simply not sat so many diners if that were the case. Waited an hour to get cold food. Wife's order was wrong and we didn't bother mentioning because just wanted to leave at that point. Ceviche was rancid and made us ill. Stay far away. Couldn't pay me to eat here again.
google avatar

Trish L.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and stayed the night in one of the 4 upstairs rooms. I ordered spicy chicken nachos from the "tailgate" menu they had and also the blackened mahi bites from the regular menu. I also had a spicy margarita. The bartending staff is very friendly. The margarita was perfectly spicy and fruity. The spicy chicken nachos came out looking like a mountain. They have all the good toppings and none of my chips were soggy. The blackened mahi bites were not dry at all and the seasoning was on point. The hotel room was nothing special, but it was clean and surprisingly quiet considering the location. The view was what really made the room worth it. I woke up for sunrise and had my own semi- private area to enjoy the view.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Food was amazing, especially the Alfredo pasta and chicken Caesar salad. Decor outside was great with an amazing view of the ocean.

Jenny L.

Yelp
We were a party of four and shared the baked snapper with fresh mixed veggies (yellow & green zucchini, broccoli and cauliflower) , corn and quartered potatoes. Everything was perfectly seasoned - hint of Cajun and their house made Mojo sauce is amazing! Will definitely recommend Snappers to all our south Florida guests! Our server , David, recommended the meal and he was awesome!

Kaleigh M.

Yelp
I called the night before and made reservations, then when i got to the restaurant they said i didn't have one and had to wait for a table. We also had termites falling on us while we sat at our table. The food was alrighty maybe not worth the price though. Our service was very good though and also had live music and great view.
google avatar

Nancy W.

Yelp
The ambience is that of a laid-back Caribbean tiki bar, on the Keys. Come here if you're into local, fresh seafood, and gator bites! The bar is great as well if you like tiki drinks.
google avatar

Kate C.

Yelp
This is probably a 3.5/5. While the food was good, it took an hour and 45 minutes to come out. They did warn us that the kitchen was really backed up but two hours without even a comped appetizer is kind of insane. We were sitting at the bar too and people around us stunk of cigarettes and were wasted at nine pm. I think if we had come during a less crazy time, I would have enjoyed it more. The food was really good once it eventually arrived.

Jack K.

Yelp
Sad what has happened at this once dependable location for a fun time. For years, Howard ran a really good establishment...popular with locals AND tourists. NOW, the view is still great, but; locals discount?- nope, quality food?-nope. good service? not even close. Prices for 2 lunches? $65.00 PLUS .Bar taps working? - about half of them...wonder if they clean the lines!! This is a result of poor management and poor employee training plus the fact employment with locals is a thing of the past with the cost of housing.
google avatar

Yelp
Simply a great water front spot, easy, friendly. It's like your favorite home spot, first time or 100th. Food. Drink. Real people. Live music you want to listen to.
google avatar

Tina B.

Yelp
Great service, good food (& cocktails), and great atmosphere. Would go back. They could use a new musician though.

Laura-Jean N.

Yelp
Mahi Mahi Fish Taco w/ Cilantro Lime Sauce and all of the taco accoutrements delightfully perfect for dockside ~ Shrimp Po'Boy with mustard & deliciously light Coleslaw savory freshness. Key Lime Pie where it's done right!! Head Chef "Middle name Edward"!! What a pleasure to meet & eat your dishes. Nya!!! No wait for tables the service flow was excellent! The entire staff is awesome, but Nya ~ your heart and care for Pita my service dog...well ~ above & beyond your kindness, energy, & attention to detail surpasses all service people our entire weekend. Thank you thank you! Mr. Bar Tender carrying the inside tables your vibe was cool & collected! You all made it look effortless and easy. Oceanfront ~ WELL!! My goodness! Certainly like being in an oasis cove. Pulchritudinous. Amazing!! Everything went well. Easy breezing evening dining under soft light & live music . I love & hate giving such reviews cause I know I'm going to be waiting for a table next year!. Thank you folks for making our stay special.

Jonathan H.

Yelp
This restaurant has a great setting and attentive, friendly staff. Good job! But don't order anything fried: the oil tasted stale with a nasty aftertaste. And all the fried food must go through the same frier. Should the fried fish and hush puppies taste the same?
google avatar

Andrea L.

Yelp
We ordered a few thing for the table: to start, my sister ordered the Moscow Oysters and she literally said they were the most delicious she has ever had. We also ordered the regular Oysters. They were very fresh and paired perfect with crackers. The tuna Nachos was so fresh! Is nothing like the ones you order on a sushi place, this one was actually plain, which allows you enjoy the fish. Please be aware of the wasabi it comes with. That makes it spicy. For my main course, I ordered yellowtail and the preparation style was Dove Creek. Wow. This was my favorite. I would 100% order the same next time I come. My husband ordered the Seafood Tacos. He chose blackened. The order comes in 2, but they put a lot of fish on it. Side note: the guacamole that comes on the side has jalapeños and is spicy. I also tried the Shrimp 2 Ways: this was so creamy. Que rico! This was the first suggestion my sister gave me to order as a main course and it did not disappoint. There are a lot of market price items but we were 4, ordered 6 drinks, 3 appetizers and 3 entrée and spent around $400. For everything we ordered, I was very surprised. I thought it would be more. There was live music outside. Very "Keys style". Additional note: our server seemed new, but he did a great job.

Yelp
I gave Snappers a 3, which is kind of low for my typical ratings, but I wanted out of towners to get a better understanding of where they are headed if they are considering Snappers: - Amanda, our server, was a delight. She was attentive, personable, and knew what she was doing - The atmosphere was fantastic - beautiful views, live music, and laid back vibe. However, the reason I gave Snappers such a poor rating was because of the quality of food compared to the pricing. We ordered a combo seafood platter as a starter and I was shocked at how few shrimp there were and how much the conch was breaded for $30. My partner ordered the market priced Captain's Platter, looking forward to the crab legs - but unfortunately the crab legs were overcooked and tough. Certainly not worth the $88 we found out they cost. On top of that, the fries and chips were cold and undercooked, and the Caesar salad was "meh" for $25. If you are looking for drinks, a sunset with live music, and a nice time - try it out! If you want to have a nice meal, go somewhere else....this place is the definition of a tourist trap.

Yelp
3 visits, chances to get it right. Major fail. The Farmer's omelette has been different every week, I'm wondering if they are throwing whatever that happen to have around into the omelette. One week bacon with veggies, next week ham with uncooked peppers and this week sausage and onions with a small amount of red pepper. Grits. Week one great, week two dry and inedible and today, so salty our salt lovers couldn't eat them. So disappointing because the atmosphere and music make this a fun spot, but I'm not feeling like trying it again.

Yelp
Food was ok. Service good. The Pina Colada was nothing more than flavored ice. Horrible!! Don't get , it's a rip off.

Yelp
Beautiful place with great service and good food. The conch fritters were awesome but the crab cake was just so so. Overall great experience.

Yelp
Food here is always good. Views are spectacular especially up in the new tiki hut. Great bar choice and lots of seafood to choose from. Always worth the visit and a nice shirt selection too. Something about looking at the ocean while eating with friends and family is so relaxing. Not to mention they have live music certain afternoons too. Dancing if you so desire is welcome too.

Yelp
Great food; very allergy friendly, as I have a lot of food allergies, and the kitchen took very good care of me. Amanda was great!

Yelp
Even on a windy, chilly day, the staff and food at Snappers was awesome. The Lobster Roll and Crab Cakes were amazing and the margaritas hit the spot. This is a must visit, local establishment
