This place is pretty great. Friendly service. Easy parking. I saw another review say cash only but this is incorrect. They accept cards

Google
Great product and cute concept. The team service could use an adjustment. Liked the Tigers Blood but it’s a little off, definitely do not order a sugar free coconut, no bueno. But the service adjustment this is basic customer service delivery… when someone says “thank you” a good response would be “you’re welcome” instead of “yeah” Or absolutely no acknowledgment. Both happened to us. When a customer has a question, let the team respond instead of pulling the team member mid/response into a new task without regard to the customer at hand. All of this can be ironed out but at least the product was decent.

Google
Best snocone in town! These girls kick ass even when they only have one machine!

Google
An Austin original and like no other! Awesome flavor combinations, a great family friendly treat, and run by one of the best Austin natives that I know. Highly recommend all the way from Charlotte NC!

Yelp
Sno-Beach is definitely something else - unlike other snowcone places. What set them aside are the ice and their syrups. You would think all ice is the same - no no no, the ice here is different in the way they shave it. If the shaved ice is not fine, it creates areas for air to get in and melt the ice very fast (I learned this from a shaved ice vendor in Hawaii). The ice at Sno-Beach is very fine and smooth so it doesn't melt fast at all. I'm a very slow eater, and I have to finish 3/4 of a small one just to notice there's a small of syrup on the bottom. The small one is huge and cheap - $4 for a small one. Their syrups are delicious. My favorite is coffee - it's like drinking a latte with strong coffee flavor. My family loves sweet tea and cream soda. You may think...why would you want to get sweet tea flavor. Try it and you might think differently - it's sooo good and refreshing. The cream soda has a hint of strawberry flavor, just a hint, it won't overpower anything. Cream soda and sweet tea would go well together. Or coffee and horchata would be a good match as well since it can be called a dirty horchata :) I live in Round Rock but drive to downtown for a snowcone at Sno-Beach. The employees are very friendly and helpful. There're some tables and benches for you to enjoy your treats. Watch for bees as they're seeking the sweet nectar. Follow Sno-Beach on Instagram on their hours of operation. They're usually open from March - early October. Highly recommend you trying this place when you're in the area. Definitely a sweet spot to cool off on a hot summer day in Texas.

Yelp
I love that they have a good selection of sugar free options!! I got the kiwi strawberry and the pink lemonade and it was delicious!! I got a small and it was huge!! They definitely give you good portion sizes, it was hard for me to finish it all. My boyfriend got the vanilla ice cream flavor and it tasted just like actual vanilla ice cream!! The servers were very friendly and super helpful!!
google avatar

Yelp
Girls were very nice and quick with our order. We ordered small snowcones and they were just $4 each. My daughter came with a little bottle of tajin. There are seating areas with shade outside and the parking is massive for this area. Will definitely come back here.

Yelp
They're unlike any other snowcones!!! Some people say all snowcones are the same. I say they haven't tried snobeach. The ice makes the difference. It's so smooth and doesn't melt fast. Not to mention, it's HUGE and CHEAP. $3 for a small (which is not small at all) Here are some syrup recommendations for your next visit: - Sweet Tea (soooo good) - Cream Soda (I don't typically like cream soda, but it's different at snobeach. Sweet and creamy) - Coffee (my sister likes coffee so she loves this flavor) The employees are super friendly and helpful. There are some benches for you to enjoy your treats there but watch out for them flies!! *Tips: you can ask them for samples! I was in a hurry to eat so no pictures of the food today :)
google avatar

Gina C.

Yelp
The smoothest sno-cone I've had in ages. I get the pink lemonade every time - so fresh and the softest ice! Only $3.50 for the small which is a huge portion. Highly recommend and close distance to zilker park - I love it here!
google avatar

Akash M.

Yelp
DO NOT GET THE MANGO. It both smells and tastes like cheese. However the workers were super kind and got us a replacement. I hope this was just a one time thing and their actual mango is not a pungent mess.
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
Soft ice snow cones are the best! Must get the add on cream, makes it ten times more delish. And their spoons change color, how cute lol
google avatar

Sebadtian D.

Yelp
Great flavors and budget friendly A taste way to cool off in this hot Texas sun with picnic tables outside and a few lounge chairs, with great proximity to Zilker. A very friendly staff as well with short waits
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place and somehow spend $100 here over the summer the gals who work here are teens but are so fun and kind, they're truly exceptional. They also are resilient as once the spatula got stuck on the ice machine and they magically fished it out and made it work. Good d fashioned SNO!!!!!
google avatar

Zoe G.

Yelp
Best value and best snow come of your life! I went here with some friends and we all got snow cones and sat on the wooden tables under the trees. Although it was hot and I was melting away, the snow cone was refreshing. Definitely an Austin staple. I recommend getting wedding cake it was delicious! I'd rate this a 10/10

Yelp
There's not too much to say about Sno-Beach, except for that it's a delight. Simple but perfect. I love a good shaved ice (they remind me of my swim league days as a kid), and Sno-Beach is as good as it gets. Soft, melt-in-your-mouth ice, tons of flavor, and reasonably priced! They had a wide range of flavors, from classics like lemon lime and blue raspberry to more unique flavors like cantaloupe and dulce de leche. Every city should have a Sno-Beach.
google avatar

Dawn H.

Yelp
Excellent service and flavor of the shaved ice. We were bringing a group of 30 and they openned 30 mins early for us! We arrive late but they were still polite. They took care of our group orderly and without issue. If you have a large group and want to cool down, I would bring them there. Also, if you want a good shave ice for yourself, I would pick sno beach too.
google avatar

Kira M.

Yelp
We came here twice on our four day trip to Austin it was THAT GOOD! Not too far from Barton Springs pool so we ubered from there after an afternoon of swimming in the 104 degree heat! We had small snocones both times for $3 each. They were huge for a size small, can't image how big an XL must be! We had watermelon, wild cherry, blue coconut, and blue raspberry which were all delicious! I think what really makes these snocones so delicious is the soft smooth consistency of the ice and they put the flavoring on the ice twice, once halfway and once on top. It really makes all the ice contain the flavor.

Rachel S.

Yelp
Best snow cone I ever had. Watermelon sour patch xtra sour. Lovely humans, lovely cone. Would come back even though I live in Antarctica.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
Kids liked their rainbow flavors okay. I would pass on pina colada next time, I have had better. They do take ApplePay, so don't lose your mind looking for an ATM! Nothing to write home about, we were visiting, it was hot, other than the ant covered tables it met expectations of a sno-cone.
google avatar

Tim L.

Yelp
Spoiled myself. First time to a snow cone spot and I don't think anything will ever be as good as this one.
google avatar

Tyler M.

Yelp
Amazing creations! My family loved them. The coffee one, the Mexican cinnamon rice, tajin mango. We will be coming back often. Super friendly as well!
google avatar

Amber B.

Yelp
Great location with large parking lot. Online orders only currently. QR code to scan along with several signs of the website URL. Semi easy website to order from, the confusing part is the wait time and pick up location. The app suggested 5 minutes but it took 8 and the receipt stated notification which was received after it had been sitting there. Ordered two small snowballs which you can pick 1-3 flavors free of charge. Definitely will be back!
google avatar

Macie S.

Yelp
Love this little stand! The employees were super sweet and working so fast! We were in a line of about 20 people and had our sno-cones in hand within 15 minutes!

Yelp
Shaved ice is a popular cool treat in Hawaii. I certainly had plenty during my two trips to the Hawaiian islands. There is a fine line between shaved ice and snow cones. The differentiation is in the texture of the ice. From my perspective, Sno Beach definitely serves snow cones. Whatever you want to classify its frozen treats as, they are great. Sno Beach is a truck right outside of Zilker Park. The syrups were sweet and delicious. They were certainly among the best syrups I have had on shaved ice or snow cones. The sweet tea was my favorite. The raspberry was great too. The snow cone was the perfect cold treat on a hot day. Accordingly, the line was very long but worth it. The truck is cash only. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. If you are visiting and planning a trip to Austin and looking for recommendations, feel free to message me for my itinerary. You can also find the electronic copy through the link my profile.

Yelp
Even though this is right by my office, I have not been...but we did check it out this weekend, it is very popular! Even on a dreary Saturday afternoon, we had about 15 people in front of us. The line moved fast enough but it takes time to lovingly hand shave and mold the ices. It is also cash only, but the small which is certainly big enough to quench your sno cone craving is $2.50 base, so me who hardly carries cash can even swing that. They say that this is on par with shaved ice you can get from Hawaii, so I actually was fortunate enough to be able to visit Hawaii a few years back and sample their shaved ice....and it is pretty close! It was a cooler day here so the sno did not melt as fast but the choices are a bit overwhelming. You can do a two flavor combo and then do a cream floater, or even have ice cream as an added topping for just 0.50 cents extra. I went with a weird combo of almond and cinnamon with a cream floater which I mostly liked but would try something more fruity next time. My mom got a passion fruit and pomegranate that she liked. The tigers blood was a favorite, along with the pina colada. Just be careful, there are tons of bees hanging around the benches waiting for some sugary leftovers.
google avatar

Erica N.

Yelp
Perfect ending to a day of travel and errands. Service was nice and quick. I was glad I was able to try a sample and given suggestions of good combos. I ended up w/wild cherry, sangria and tigers blood. It was delicious and the fastest way to cool down with the hot weather. I will be back!
google avatar

Natalie A.

Yelp
Best place for snow cones! I got the sweet tea with fresh lemon on top and it was phenomenal! The staff was sweet and the line moved quickly!
google avatar

Sandra J.

Yelp
There are so many syrup choices, and the ice is soffffffffft. Price is a good deal too !
google avatar

Linzeta S.

Yelp
Love this place !!! The medium is $4 and usually tip $1 . Always friendly staff. Half sugar-free coconut / regular lemon lime + powdered chili is my fave! It's only 1/2 cheating. The line doesn't move very quickly so if it's 10 Deep and 120. Stay in your car until it dies dow!

Yelp
Would be 5 stars for the sno cones themselves but they don't follow their closing hours. Two Saturdays ago, they closed at 6:30 and were locking the gates when we were sitting inside the parking lot. How did they expect us to get out? Last Saturday the 27th, arrived before 6:30pm, and they were already closed. The sno cones themselves are huge (we get smalls and it's almost more than we can eat ), lots of flavor and a great deal. But, too much guessing in the early evening they will be open as posted.

Anai V.

Yelp
A small is quite fulfilling. They have great flavors it's a great affordable place to grab a quick cool down dessert.

Yelp
Step right up people. Best sno-cone in Austin. Several of these trailers about town and they are serving up something special. The key is the ice; it is thinly shaved slices of ice not little ice pellets. Pick two flavors and they go half and half. They pack tons of extra sno-cone over the brim of the cup so a medium is more than enough for 1 person. Flavor toppings are generous but you can ask for half-syrup if you think it's too heavy. Additionally you can top with cream, ice cream, or caramel for $.50 but that's nasty, people. Cash only. Umbrellas in a trash can for your use if its super sunny or rainy. Tips are encouraged. Wide range of flavors. There is a small collection of sugar free flavors. There is also a collection of flavors that neither you nor the employees can describe (Tiger's Blood, Silver Fox, Rainbow, Hill Country Berry, and Fuzzy Navel). It's a must visit.

Yelp
AMAZING!!!!!!!! I came here in 100 degree weather hoping to just grab something cold to beat the heat, but was rewarded with so much more. The first thing I noticed as I approached the cute, well-positioned trailer was the HUGE menu. There were some traditional, fruity flavors, as well as a few fun, creative flavors. It was definitely hard to choose, but I ended up settling for blackberry, raspberry, and vanilla. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The prices weren't high at all, and the cups were stuffed full. There was a bit of a line, but there still was barely any wait. It was amazingly refreshing, with just the right amount of syrup. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a sweet, refreshing treat on a hot day!!!!
google avatar

Joshua J.

Yelp
Best snow cones I've ever had. They have all natural coconut and mango flavors and an excellent selection of classic flavors. The pink grapefruit was my favorite snow cone I've ever had. WARNING: Cash Only but worth it. A good amount of seating and parking nearby on Sundays.
google avatar

Bridget K.

Yelp
Great little sno-cone stand! I LOVE that they have their own parking lot. It's so convenient to drop by for a quick sno-cone. They have tons of flavor options and even the choice to add ice cream and other things.
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
One of the best snow cone place I've been to! I got peach and some berry flavor and they blended very well together. My boyfriend got orange and that was also very tasty and refreshing! If you're looking for some refreshing flavor on a HOT Texas day, I'd definitely recommend that one. For me, even the small size was too big to finish so be careful not to overestimate how much you can eat!
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Still the best snocones in Austin! Nice soft shaved ice and great flavors! Friendly service and generous portions. The $3 small is more than enough! Two locations--both with easy parking. A must-do summertime treat!
google avatar

Jordan M.

Yelp
Perfect sno balls. The sizes are all huge and there is a wide selection of flavors. I ended up getting sweet tea and raspberry. It was delicious. I tried my friend's dulce de leche and that was incredible too. If you're in the area, you have to try this place!
google avatar

Akhil B.

Yelp
waited over 20 minutes for my order, and watched multiple people order after me and get their orders before I did. No excuse for this, will not be coming back
google avatar

Brenda L.

Yelp
Convenient location & lots of parking for this shaved ice truck! Came here a total of 3 times though the first time was the definitely BEST. During my first visit, the shaved ice was perfect, just like the ones in Hawaii! The ice was fluffy and soft, the texture just right. Flavours meshed well together & the icecream (a must add) topped off this delicious dessert. However, during my second & third visit, the consistency of the ice just turned the wrong way. The ice was crunchy & hard just like a snow cone - something i disliked eating growing up as a kid..Although I did see the ladies in the truck make the shaved ice fresh, it really did taste like the ice was crushed far in advance. And the ice was unable to hold the flavours... definitely a disappointment. Hoping the ice texture can be improved since I really love Hawaiian shaved ice and this place is nearby. Flavours during my first visit: Tiger Blood & Cantaloupe
google avatar

Janet V.

Yelp
They are very organized with how to order and pick up your order. They have number set up at each parking spot and they have a table set up in front, numbered as well. I placed an order online after parking (we parked in spot 1). After they finished my order, they placed it on the table in the section labeled 1 and I went to go pick it up. Their snowcones are alright. I selected the option online for extra syrup, but there still wasn't enough syrup. The ice is crunchy and isn't as soft as other places.
google avatar

Jill M.

Yelp
If you wear the I Love Sno Beach t-shirt on Friday, you get a free small sno cone. Guess who ate a free sno cone yesterday! That t-shirt will pay for itself in 10 weeks... Seriously though, this is one of my favorite summer treats. Sno Beach is often busy, but the girls work efficiently so the line moves quickly. And they make the best "rainbow" in town. The colors are quite distinct. It's not actually the an optimal flavor combo, but it looks awesome. Best combo so far--wedding cake + hill country berry + cream. Delicious!
google avatar

Jocy C.

Yelp
Austin - known for Food Trucks! There's a Hawaiian Shaved Ice truck in the South Austin area. YUM! I ordered their famous Tiger's Blood, and a friend ordered their Pina Colada. Ice was nicely shaved. Flavors were a bit too sweet for both our tastes though, but that's easily fixable. Just tell the person to put less syrup in it. The small size for the shaved ice is actually large enough to share for 2 persons.
google avatar

Tara M.

Yelp
I have stopped by this snow cone stand numerous times and am thankful that they are located across the street from where I park for my weekend walks around Lady Bird er Town Lake - cause after a walk on a hot day nothing is better than some ice cold shaved ice and sweet sugar syrup and Sno-Beach even has some good sugar-free options for diabetics and those watching their calories whilst still getting to indulge in some cold sweetness! I stopped by today with my pups while Michelle C. got some sushi next door at their trailer neighbor Sushi A-Go-Go... Michelle C. "that is a small!?!" Me "yes" Yes, a small for only 2.00 and between the 2 of us we could not finish it. We contemplated how anyone could finish a large or even a medium???? I admitted that with the option of GoodPop a hop skip and a jump away I would choose GoodPop over Sno-Beach. Just my opinion cause I am not a huge fan of the texture of their ice - Jim Jim's has ruined me as far as texture goes. But they are there right where I need them when GoodPop is closed!
google avatar

Yelp
Now that I've seen six or seven episodes of the new cop serial Hawaii Five-0, I consider myself an expert in all things Hawaiian. Because of that, I know that it's actually SHAVE ice, not SHAVED ice. Semantics, and my expert knowledge of Polynesian cultures aside, Sno-Beach has me craving their ice in the dead of winter when it's close to freezing outside. That's saying something. The ice is literally like snow- and not the crunchy, soupy, once every ten years, 5-inch snowman making Austin snow, but like a fresh coat of West Rocky Mountain powder that melts in your mouth. I cant say that all their flavors are great, because I lucked out on a delicious random flavor combination (wedding cake + silver fox) my first time, and have yet to deviate. Samples of friends' flavors usually yield good results, however. The only thing that I don't enjoy about Sno-Beach is the abundance of bees that hang around the trailer. Terrifying.
google avatar

Megan A.

Yelp
Every flavor is delicious. Even the sugar free ones. I asked how the syrups are made and was told that the owner creates each syrup themselves. My favorite flavor is Chocolate. It is cream based and I wouldn't have it any other way. I make the drive from Buda JUST for the Chocolate sno cone. Sno-Beach has been my favorite sno-cone place since I was a little kid. I remember running over after our t-ball games to get a sno-cone. Back when they were on Lamar where the P-Terry's is now. I am happy that the quality has always been on point and never wavered despite how many moves they have had to make.
google avatar

Harvey C.

Yelp
I really don't understand the hype. It taste like a regular snow cone! This one just cost more, and they don't put enough syrup. I feel like this business put too much effort to encourage ppl to post 5 stars on yelp, & that's how they fool others to come taste BASIC snow cones! Don't be fooled! This place is a fraud. Save yourself some money, & visit your local gas station that has a yellow snow cone shack!
google avatar

Ilsa A.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite snow cone stands in Austin ( okay well maybe one out of the few I've been too ) but I love the location and quality of the snow cones . This location is open until 9 pm most nights which is great for me . I usually like grabbing a snow cone after dinner so I appreciate that they are open a bit later than most . The quality of the syrup tastes much higher than other snow cone places I've been too . 4 stars is due to the price . My boyfriend and I paid almost 9 dollars for two cups of ice and syrup the other night here . When all you're really eating is ice it hurts a little to pay that much . However , if your trying to choose a place go for snow cones go to this one ! Things to note : They have tons of seats Bring cash They sometimes close a little before 9pm so don't come at 8:55pm . Otherwise enjoy !
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Super nice lady's and super clean just remember it's cash only and for hot days they are great with a good price
google avatar

Kris U.

Yelp
Shaved ice + 2 flavors (half one side, half on the other) + cream (a must for the full flavor experience). Cost = $2 - $4. One of these on the walk over to ACL in the middle of the wicked Texas summer heat. Cost = Priceless!
google avatar

Gloria S.

Yelp
The line was long, the sun was out in full force and to top it off there was no breeze! Those were my first thoughts as we passed their stand, the BF made a recommendation to go to Hey Cupcake and I said okay, and he added maybe we can come back and see if the line goes down! That was his signal for saying " I WANT"! LOL Well I am glad we went back! The line was still long and it was still hot! I was so glad to find that they had umbrellas available for their customers use while we stood in line. How thoughtful is that? Love it! Surprisingly, we did not have to wait to long, we made it to the front in no time and I ordered the watermelon with cream and the BF ordered the black cherry with Hawaiian and Cream! Both were delicious! I like the fact that they make sure the bottom portion of the ice get syrup and not just the top! Highly recommend their shave Ice to beat the Texas heat!
google avatar

Mirelle B.

Yelp
Best sno cones ever!! The ice is shaved perfectly and the flavor is amazing throughout.. highly recommended!!

Yelp
I can't believe I went to UT and NEVER had Sno-Beach... Ok, in my defense, I attempted a few times, but super unlucky as they were always closed =( However, this trip to ATX was a success and no lines! The flavor selection is completely overwhelming, but they are nice and let you sample the flavors if you ask! This go around, we got a Medium Tiger's blood+Kiwi+Watermelon combo, which was great and large enough for two or even three. I was a bit hesitant about Tiger's Blood but apparently it is a play on Charlie Sheen's favorite quotes. It is hard to describe but it is a mix of Hawaiian punch and coconut? Regardless, mixed well with Kiwi and Watermelon, to coat the ice, which was super soft and not super chunky or super sweet. Another top seller is Wedding Cake, will have to give that a try next time and splurge on the cream!
