Brunch Chain Snooze’s Pancake Flights Arrive in North Dallas Next Month | Eater Dallas

"This beloved brunch chain is opening its second Dallas–Fort Worth outpost on Wednesday, September 26 at 8041 Walnut Hill Lane. The 4,600-square-foot spot will seat about 130 diners indoors plus roughly 45 on an outdoor patio and will operate daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The menu mirrors other locations, featuring pancake flights, egg dishes, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, and breakfast tacos, along with a full coffee program, locally brewed beers on tap, the brand’s own sparkling wine blend, and a lineup of bloody marys such as the Boss Hog made with bacon-infused bourbon. It joins a growing roster of new restaurants at The Hill development, alongside the first DFW locations of Pokeworks, Bellagreen, and Hat Creek Burger Company." - Amy McCarthy

Google
We were soooo bad today. I had a scan today and we explored a new restaurant. The pumpkin latte was made with pumpkin puree. Bruce had an amazing omelette with hash browns and wheat toast. I had Basil & the Bee Burrata toast and it was very flavorful. But then they brought a complimentary pineapple pancake with cinnamon butter and vanilla cream. Everything is organic and oh so tasty and the flavors are bouncing in my mouth. Treat yourself and give this sweet café a try.

Brunch on Sunday was not the beat experience at this restaurant. The waiting time was only 15min, not bad. The service really bad. Our server started pretty cheerful but after taking the order, she simply disappeared. We saw her again when we had finished our meals and didn’t even know that we could have refill on coffee. The food was also a disappointment. The presentation of the plate was poor, the chorizo was super dried (way to deep fried). My sandwich way too greasy. They forgot to bring the pancake and eventually it was brought. That was the only thing that really had a good taste. All the other three meals were plain in flavor. Finally some of the seats had grease on them, obviously people’s hand prints not cleaned.

Google
Really wholesome food and drinks. Came here for brunch on a Wednesday. Had the Ham Benedict III with the almond matcha. Super good 👌 eggs perfectly cooked and were seasoned really well. Spent about $25 on my meal with food and drinks. Also, they have a great variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Would recommend for sure, whether it's breakfast or brunch.

I went during breakfast hours. It was packed. I was eating solo and I wanted to sit at the bar but it was packed. First come first service. Not a problem. My second choice was to eat outside(the back area/nice cozy). I was told I would need to get on the wait list. Not a problem but now its more crowded. I eventually ate at the bar. The ladies are extremely nice and helpful with the menu items. First time at this location, second time at Snooze (Colorado Springs). I was not disappointed. I heard parties of seven being seated. Nice place to eat. Great variety for everyone to choose. (Vegan to I don't care what I eat) Lol !! I will say parking is a bit challenging . Keep in mind other restaurants and businesses are in the area. I will be returning.

Yaminy M.

Google
Their coffee is delicious and their pancakes too. Service is very good as well. If coming on a weekend, definitely try to make a reservation. Wait times can be pretty long, but there is bar seating available and that’s usually always open. Overall, this is a solid breakfast and brunch spot.

Nancy R.

Google
The server was unfriendly, and they didn’t have the vanilla whipped cream, which was a common topping on most of the plates. Additionally, there were no strawberries. If you add meat to your omelette, you’ll have to pay an extra $3, and you’ll only get about 0.05 ounces of meat.

Google
First time at this location, but it didn't disappoint. Service was amazing. Because there was a 20 minute wait, we started out with mimosas at the bar top. We receded shortly after and started off with the flight of pancakes. We had the Benny duo, the breakfast burrito, and the classic breakfast. Food is amazing, I can't describe how awesome the flight of pancakes is! Specifically like the pineapple upside down pancake, but they were all really good. If you want a different type of breakfast vibe, this is the place.

Alex S.

Google
This place is all for the aesthetic. It looks nice but inside it's empty. Besides the drink the food is premade. I doubt they even cook the food besides placing it in a microwave. Presentation is wonderful and the people are nice. But I would feel more fulfilled eatting at waffle House or even making myself an omlete instead of spenig the money. And the tip options are too high. But it at 15% like normal instead of increasing the minimum optional tip to 20%. >:( All in all, great for photos not for taste.

Yelp
Snooze is always a delicious and welcoming restaurant to visit. The hostess greets us with a smile. The bright, retro decor and orange furniture and umbrellas in the outdoor eating area are easily recognizable and memorable. The food is really good and filling. Perfect breakfast food. Bonus, their chai latte is delicious!

Yelp
Snooze was great! I loved the Spuds Deluxe! There was plenty of food on all the entrees we got! They are great with their portions! The OMG! French Toast was super unique and I loved they had something with a special flair. Our service was good. The inside was decorated kind of like scooby doo inspired and I liked that. I would love to try more of their Spuds dishes next time I'm near a Snooze!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun hip place to grab a bite. Waitstaff must be drones because they're all friendly and helpful. Seasonal teams are a good choice to try.
google avatar

Kirby W.

Yelp
OK, I'm back. Left off some photos. I had them on a digital camera and had to wait until I got to my older computer to insert a chip. Pretty cool place, with good food, and large portions. If I didn't know better, I would say that the place was designed by whomever did the bowling alley in The Big Lebowski. Very cool.
google avatar

Everlong_angelica M.

Yelp
The service is awful. No one seems attentive or informed of their own menu. The food is passable, but the cost doesn't match the quality.
google avatar

Shana W.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Was happy with my meal from start to finish and thankful for so many gluten free options. Our server, Trish, was amazing. The atmosphere is cool and it's a great place to sit and brunch and chat with friends!

John D.

Yelp
Excellent food, but slow service. Long wait to get in early in the morning, and all morning on weekends. Then the wait to get food and other service is slow. Seem to be understaffed. Getting food to go may be a good idea.

Yelp
We had to visit one of our favorite breakfast restaurants while we were visiting Dallas, Snooze. The atmosphere as usual was very vibrant, clean and fun. Our waitress very friendly, patient, helpful, attentive and engaging. You could tell she loved working here. Our food very good as usual and very vegetarian friendly. I had Juan's small taco plate with added jalapeño's and they were great. My wife had the egg white garden omelette and loved it as well as the delicious salad that came with it. My son had a huge burrito with salsa verde and we shared a plate of pancakes. I also had a mocha coffee which I felt was a bit small for the price and my son had a hot chocolate.
google avatar

Nika W.

Yelp
We are regular diners at snooze. The food is always fresh. The vibe is always life. We will return here over and over and over again.

Yelp
I finished a doctor's appointment at the sports center next door and was looking for some breakfast while I waited for my ride. I saw this place and decided to check it out. Very cute interior with a bright and colorful setup. I was seated quickly, although I sat at the bar as the booths looked like too tight a squeeze for somebody in a powered wheelchair, however the bar was fine as I was able to raise my seat up to eat comfortably. I got a "Blood Orange Mimosa" and the "Crab & Asparagus Omelette" and I enjoyed both. I'm always looking to try new food and had never had crab with an omelette and that turned out to be a really tasty combination. The servers were very nice and made sure I understood any inconveniences or possible hiccups, asking about allergens, etc and my food arrived quickly. They also offered me some locally made hot sauce which I appreciated. I wanted to post the full menu describing the omelette but it was too much text for the photo, so i'll post it here; "Crab and Asparagus Omelette - Three cage-free eggs with a blend of lump & claw crab meat, Gruyere cheese, sautéed asparagus, red onions & mushrooms. Topped with roasted tomatoes, a drizzle of our house-made cream cheese hollandaise and scallions. Served with Dijon vinaigrette, spiced pepitas and Parmesan-dressed greens." I would eat here again, very tasty, nice interior, and friendly staff.

Yelp
Opens early (6:30 am) so early birds if you can't find a spot for early breakfast, come try. Patio out back. Sometimes you have to flag the waitress as she has to operate many tables. Lots of menu items. Bacon is delicious. Fresh squeezed orange juice ! Download their app for rewards.

Yelp
Location Just off the 75 and Walnut Hill, northeast Dallas. Parking Large lot Atmosphere Breakfast/brunch happy restaurant Note-join the waitlist online or call. Texted updates are super! Seating Bar, booths, tables with semi-circular booth like seats Service-outstanding! Alexis rocked it! The and beverages arrived quickly! Menu Nationwide, this is mu ultimate fav breakfast place. The menu choices are all great! So hard to choose and they offer seasonal specials. We had the garden harvest omelette with side salad. The salad was fresh and delish with a lite dressing. The omelette was topped with cream cheese small scoop and slices of perfectly ripe avocado- loaded with veggies! Delish! We also had the sandwich i am-sausage patty, cheese, egg on a toasted pretzel bun with a yummy hollandaise sauce. So thick and tasty. The hash-browns are served in a thick patty-cute and browned just right. The mimosas are tall and generous! Summary No matter which Snooze you visit-you will be pleasantly filled and satisfied. We love it!!

Yelp
One of my favorite brunch spots! I have never tasted anything on the menu that was not amazing. Today I had the lodes spuds I chose green chile and chorizo as the enhancements and then added the habanero pork belly and it was incredible!!! Then if course no snooze brunch is complete without a signature pancake went with the strawberry shortcake it was very good! Loved the strawberry mascarpone on it! It was the perfect sweet ending!
google avatar

John K.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere with friendly quick service. Food was excellent. The Bennies are the way to go. Also, the bacon is off delicious. We didn't know Texas law so we could get bloody Mary's as we were there before 10am. #dumb

Megan H.

Yelp
I love the breakfast menu at snooze! They have a whipped everything but the bagel cottage cheese spread over toast that is so good! And the buttermilk pancakes are soooo yummy! The server was attentive and took great care of our table! And the decor is really cute too!
google avatar

Angie R.

Yelp
Food quality and ambience is top-tier love this place!! One of my favorite brunch places, In Dallas
google avatar

Lorena J.

Yelp
The service was great! But the food was very subpar. The location is aesthetically pleasing but I thinks it's to mask the food quality. It wasn't horrible but definitely not worth the price.

Sky L.

Yelp
Amazing! Didn't want to cook breakfast so stop at Snooze for a bite to eat and it did not disappoint!!!

Yelp
My fiancé and I came here with some friends right when they were open (a week ago) and the service and food was great! It was our 1st time there and usually when we are given menus, they're all sticky but Snooze's menus were clean and not sticky at all. They seem to make sure their menus are clean which was definitely noticeable by us. I really appreciate that! Our waiter was friendly. We were seated at the first table closet to the door. That table was kind of wobbly and bc of that our waiter accidentally ended spilling water on my fiancé. She was very apologetic but we knew it wasn't intentional so we were okay. It was just water that was spilt anyways. The food was delicious. At 1st I was questioning how breakfast food can be so popular but once I got my Parmesan-panko crab Benedict I kind of get it now. The pineapple upside down pancake was pretty good too! I don't usually like breakfast food but that was pretty darn good.
google avatar

Elyssabeth A.

Yelp
Sat st the patio outside and the food was delicious. Service was good and the weather outside was nice.

Yelp
Stopped for breakfast while in the neighborhood. Soooo busy but they sat us within 5 minutes and Anthony our server went out of his way to take care of us, even though he was very busy. They where out of our 1st choice the Loco Moco so we went with the Spud Deluxe, hashbrown covered in cheese and two eggs your way and 2 items from a long list of choices both meats, veggies. We also had one pineapple upside down pancake. The place is loud and lots of movement but cheerful noise is a great way to start the day. Food was hot and good. Service was some of the best ! A nice go to while in the area.

Yelp
I met my former boss here last week for breakfast and arrived before she and her friend got there. I came in thru the back way facing the park area. A server looked up when I said good morning and seemed a little surprised. Maybe they should install a little bell that gives a little ding when someone comes in thru the back! I had to walk all the way to the front for a hostess to walk me all the way back to where I entered - really, it was almost empty! LOL The server approached me quickly & took my order. I wanted a good latte and something small to eat while waiting. Problem is, they don't have anything small! So I ordered one pancake, which turned out to be huge. I wasn't crazy about the latte, but ordered another one. when my friends arrived. The server never offered to refill my water, I had to ask. No one wanted to clear off my empty mug which sat at the edge of the table a while, along with my plate. The food was good, the place is very bright and clean. Service wasn't memorable.

Mark B.

Yelp
Great breakfast. Fast service. Food was excellent. Coffee was also very good. Competitive pricing. Highly recommend
google avatar

Noble D.

Yelp
Holy smokes what a find. The food was incredible, vibe a perfect blend of open and private, and our server Anthony crushed it. We felt welcome and everything we ordered came out perfect. This would be our new breakfast spot if we weren't passing through

Eric S.

Yelp
Bartender was rrly nice and attentive even tho they were busy and the people around me were nice too . Even some Karen's saw 2 chairs next to mine and needed 3 and they didn't even ask me to move or anything , I did tell them I would leave in like 5 and they were just happy and one stood there until I got up , but I never felt rushed ! Food was good and even though it was a full restaurant, came out at a good time (10-15min) Wasn't cold and presented well .
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
This was my first time here and it was a fantastic experience. Sydney and Anthony served me at the bar for breakfast! They were attentive without being overbearing. They had great recommendations for food and even suggested 1/2 portions so I could try different items. As I took in the fast pace around me, I was impressed by the management. He was able to check up on tables and reminded servers of things without sounding harsh or if he was coming down on them. Whenever I am in the area again, I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Dave A.

Yelp
Fantastic food and amazing service! I'm told you can't go wrong with virtually anything on the menu, but my whole family loved our meals We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Victoria F.

Yelp
Our waitress was Flower. She was AMAZING. She welcomed us with kindness and asked us if we were celebrating anything (we were) and then celebrated with us. The food was phenomenal I got the omelet and it was to die for. Also Ryan thought the iced mocha coffee was scrumptious. Delaney gives it a firm thumbs up. Maci was full and happy and ready to get married (we were celebrating her bachelorette party.) Courtlan said it was great.
google avatar

Alicia D.

Yelp
Juan's tacos for vegetarians is ¡muy fino! The servers are attentive but there's no wait space for overflow customers. Dallas has too few breakfast / brunch places, and they close at 2pm; too early :-(. TX-and enjoy breakfast all day long, and this menu is varied and has appeal to adults and children, good for all sorts of tastes. Outdoor dining, not covered, but umbrella use ( TX summers last from June to October) out back when it's not seering humidity and heat. Wish y'all were open past dark, but no good happens after 10pm, so I hear. l
google avatar

Day M.

Yelp
The environment and food was very good. If you want to wake up come here. The atmosphere is bright and electric! Servers are friendly and happy. Our only downside was our server suggested/informed us we could substitute our bread, but didn't tell us it would be an up charge of $5.50 each. Also, the menu says $2.75 to add a meat, but we were charged $5.25 because she said we said "side of" instead of "add to". We told her we had never visited the restaurant before, so if there are little nuisances in price based on wording or up charges in substitutions, that should be clearly communicated up front so customers can make better and Informed decisions. Our bill which could have been around $65.00 ended up at $95.00. Would we go again? Absolutely! Outside of the confusing with our order, everything was awesome!
google avatar

Michael K.

Yelp
Food is great! We really enjoyed the omg French toast and the vegan pancakes. We arrived at 11:22am on a Saturday and were seated by 11:54 am since it was really busy. Service was decent. Atmosphere was nice although the music was slightly louder than I would've liked

Robert M.

Yelp
Service was great. Aurora was amazing! Food of great quality and quantity. Loved the extra space between tables for more privacy while talking and dining. We will be back!

Dave S.

Yelp
Love this place. Their shrim and grits is my favorite. Today our server was Aurora. Delighful young woman. Ask for her if you can.

Kris B.

Yelp
Our server Aurora was great - so was the food!!! I'm a repeat customer and look forward to coming back.

nilsa c.

Yelp
Aurora was amazing! Very kind and thoughtful. She took care of us like family. We truly appreciate the TLC and will be back!
google avatar

Cherise M.

Yelp
The food is always good never disappointed Bacon But Better is always my go too! The shrimp and grits was excellent the andouille hash was sooo good
google avatar

Karina D.

Yelp
The food is really good and I love the fact that they have a variety of breakfast options. Their sweet potato dish with aspartame is delicious. I don't eat eggs and they always sub with extra veggies. Very accommodating. I will say it's always busy there and sometimes your server might not be as efficient as others. Overall, we've never had bad experiences. I like the ambiance there, it's family friendly, clean, and well maintained.
google avatar

Donella K.

Yelp
great easy lunch/brunch spot if you want eggs - great hash browns, or a salad even a sandwich - seasonal items vary - check menu - enjoyed happy hour prices on drinks and mocktails today. the special bacon is good but $$ 3 slices for 6.50 - spicy but good with honey. the fresh lemonades were perfect with fresh fruit and strong flavors we enjoyed. easy up front parking although it can be busy. realize the app lets you get on wait list prior to arrival with a time frame to check in. nice staff - no hassles

Katy R.

Yelp
I have been coming here pretty much since they opened and the food is always so good. Aurora has been our server on Mondays for about 4 years and she's the best! I also love that they are very allergy friendly and have lots of gluten free and dairy free items. My kids love playing outside on the green space next to the patio so that's an added bonus!
google avatar

DJ And JC L.

Yelp
One of the best brunch spots in Dallas. The Crab Benedict is a delight. And they have plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions.
google avatar

Karina M.

Yelp
So fucking good and friendly environment. Get the OMG French toast and spud deluxe!! Service.. depends what day you go

Delores C.

Yelp
The food and service was really great. I loved the ambience. I will go back to Snooze with friends and recommend it.
google avatar

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
I really love coming to snooze for brunch! There are tons of food options - pancakes, Benedict's, scrambles toasts, and also so many delicious mimosa flavors! This location is also really spacious with tons of tables. The service I received here was awesome, I came with a party of 12 and our server was so friendly, accommodating, and on top of everything. :) make sure to hop on the yelp waitlist beforehand, I put our name down an hour and a half before we were seated. I ordered the Benedict combo and a pancake flight. The Benedict's were good, such a classic and tasted exactly how you'd expect. The pancake flight was lacking for me though, it wasn't warm or fluffy like it used to be ;( however, everything still hit the spot for brunch. I'll definitely be returning, obviously with the yelp waitlist!! :)
google avatar

Steve R.

Yelp
Super friendly staff, like our server deserves 10 stars alone he was amazing! Cute interior, I loved the circle booths. The food was OK. The Denver omlet was a little sweet, which was unexpected, and the breakfast burrito had a green chili sauce that I was expecting hatch green chilies but it was more tomatillo and sour.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
First off I would highly recommend getting on the waitlist here on Yelp before coming then checking in when you get there. Wait times are a bit long. And parking as you would expect in a metro area... not great. This is a fun upbeat atmosphere with music playing and staff pretty bubbly in good moods. There is a full bar, specialty drinks and seating is on a first come basis but you can order food and eat there. Ordered the Bennie duo and a blueberry celebration pancake. Bennie was good I got the habanero pork belly and the Bellini. Both were very good! Don't be afraid to try the pork belly. It is not super spicy, but has excellent flavor and a fun take on eggs Benedict. Celebration pancake was one large pancake that filled the plate, had blueberry drizzle, and a frosting drizzle with sprinkles. I'm not a huge, pancake fan, but this one was pretty good. Food came out pretty quickly. Besides the pancake, portions were pretty small, especially for the price of Bennie duo,. It was $18.75. With just a little pork and 1 piece of prosciutto. Only saw our server 2 times once to take the order and then to pay our bill. Other staff brought out our food. (No big deal) Overall, I would definitely recommend trying here, they have a very diverse menu with food. Options were gluten-free, vegan and healthy eaters, as well as us carnivores.
google avatar

Reeza G.

Yelp
Delicious brunch place in Dallas, TX! Loved loved the pancake flight and matcha latte. The ambiance is super vibrant and refreshing, really feels like you're waking up to a sunny morning. Wasn't too busy when we arrived at 1PM and the service was good.
google avatar

La'Ban W.

Yelp
After a long flight to Dallas we decided to stop by here for breakfast/brunch on a Monday. This place is in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. There was ample seating upon our arrival and was seated quickly. We sat in a circular booth. The booth was funky but fit the decore of the restaurant. The menu has a variety of options for everyone. Our server arrived shortly after we browsed the menu and we ordered. The bar took some time to bring us our drinks and the alcoholic drinks were good when they arrived. I had a pumpkin spiced latte cold. Do not recommend. I don't know if it was the paper straw or if this was meant to be hot and the ingredients don't blend well cold, but you could taste the pumpkin topping seeds. It was like a grainy taste. The food was good, not great, but good. My friend who had the burrito said the sauce on the side would be better than on the burrito. I had the shrimp and grits, while they were more generous with the amount of shrimp the meal was good. Everyone else in our party collectively agreed that we would come back and it a 2nd or 3rd choice.
google avatar

Heather T.

Yelp
Loved the vibe and atmosphere, and the food was great too. Service was quick, not too busy on a weekday morning. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

Yelp
I've tried many brunch venues and this is by far my favorite. The seasonal menus are spectacular.
