"Oak Lawn will soon boast its own outpost of Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, the Denver-based all-day breakfast chain known for its pancakes and boozy brunch cocktails. Dallas CultureMap reports that the Oak Lawn location of Snooze will open in late 2018 or early 2019 in the space formerly occupied by Hypnotic Sushi at 3211 Oak Lawn Ave. Snooze just opened its first Dallas spot in Addison in early June, serving breakfast lovers pancake flights and creative spins on eggs Benedict from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The chain isn’t done opening Snooze restaurants in Dallas either: Left Bank and Walnut Hill are still in the pipeline for Snooze openings. Update: The timeline for Snooze’s opening has been corrected." - Adele Chapin

I've been to Snooze Eatery a few times, and every time I go, it is always super busy! Regardless of the bustling atmosphere, the service was wonderful. We were a large party of 11, but we got taken care of so well!! The food is always delicious, and the coffee/cocktails are yummy. Just another great experience at Snooze all around 🥰

I enjoyed my breakfast here and would def go again. I went with the pancake sampler but instead of the strawberry pancake I subbed in the OMG French toast and it was the best decision I made that day. Pineapple pancake: underwhelming Cinnamon Roll pancake: delicious, give me 14 of them. OMG French toast: I wanted them all Those little brown balls are some amazing cinnamon butter balls. Slather them all over your cakes and toast! I also ordered the bacon that was supposedly rubbed in brown sugar, cayenne, and red pepper syrup…..the biggest letdown of everything I ate. For $6.50 I was expecting it to be better but it was just three strips of bacon with a syrup poured over it. Definitely skip that.

Feeling a little antisocial but really wanting to splurge on breakfast, I ordered DoorDash from here. I chose the pick two Benny meal and was very impressed at the way it was packaged for transport. The eggs and hollandaise sauce was separated from the rest of the meal. The bottom portions of the benedicts were able to retain their crispness. Habanero Pork Belly Benny: There was a barely detectable layer of bacon-espresso jam. The benny was supposed to be dressed with cranberry relish - I received one half of a cranberry. However, the English muffin was perfectly toasted and they didn't skimp on the Pork belly. Pork Chile Verde Benny: Green chili sauced tortillas were an amazing twist instead of the usually English muffin. There was a good portion of well seasoned pulled pork. Unfortunately, the accompanying pico de gallo and cotija cheese was not included on mine. Overall, I appreciated the concept and overall flavors, I just wish the execution was equally distributed. The flat Hash browns were actually crispy, and I really enjoyed them. I also ordered the Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes for something sweet to finish off the savory. Unfortunately, the ingenuity of the benny packaging was not there with this dish. The strawberry mascarpone and vanilla crème were plopped on top of the hot pancakes like that was going to travel well. By the time I received it, they had become runny and slid off to a mass of hot mess. I was also not impressed by the five slivers of strawberries or small tablespoon of almond streusel for two pancakes. While the dish had good flavor, it fell flat in presentation and portioning. Again, some of these factors are in regards to being transported, so I might have had better luck if I had dined in. Considering the potential to do better, I'd certainly try it that way next time.

I truly enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is so laid back but very professional. Great customer service from everyone we came in contact with. The food was awesome and the drinks were as well. I got the Blackberry mint limeade mocktail. Highly recommend this drink if you like limeades. It server was very helpful with explaining the menu. Very knowledgeable of all the options that were available. I will be back for sure!

Google
Great breakfast/brunch spot! I was familiar with Snooze from KC but it seems to be a great time in multiple locations. Went with a group and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I love their brewmosa, which is a wheat beer mixed with orange juice. Makes so much sense I think more places should do it. To eat, I had the double bacon breakfast sandwich. The amount of ingredients sounded a little intimidating but I didn’t feel that way once I got it. Great ingredients with a bit of a spicy kick! Very friendly helpful service on top of everything.

I went with a friend on a slow morning, there were only about 2 other small tables in the restaurant, but our server was hanging out and loudly chatting with her other coworker about some topics that should definitely be discussed outside of the workplace. She also rang in both of our orders incorrectly but with the amount of time it took to get those meals out we figured it wasn’t worth mentioning at the time. She also forgot to put in our drinks until we were almost finished with our meal… my friend had ordered almond milk in her coffee drink and told our server it was due to a dairy intolerance. Once she had FINISHED the latte (or whatever kind of drink it was) the server came over and told her she’d received whole milk on accident because she “forgot to write it down”. No apology and didn’t take it off the bill, yikes 😬 On a better note, I enjoyed the pancake flight and chose the strawberry shortcake, pineapple upside down pancake, and the pumpkin pancake with toasted pecans. Yum! Ordered the pork belly as well (not pictured as it didn’t arrive until a while later, but it was pretty good too)

The avocado toast and green juice was really really good! I loved the breakfast here but the wait time is always so much so plan ahead

It was my first time at Snooze & Erica was the best waitress with the best personality. She constantly checked on my friend & I, & kept us updated about our meal & apologized due to it taking a little while which was out of her control of course. The food was great & I would def come back.

Yelp
Great service and the food is amazing. It's nice for a brunch or a little meeting place with friends to discuss important matters or to enjoy the day together.

Joshua R.

Yelp
I went to snooze twice this past weekend and Meme was my server both times at the bar. her service was great! the food was amazing as well.

Adele Q.

Yelp
I love this place and in almost 2 years I have not yet found a breakfast place I like better. This morning we ordered: Classic Breakfast (eggs, bacon, sourdough toast and fruit/swapped for hash browns which are also good. Single Pineapple Upside Down Pancake - which fills a plate. Sweet Potato Veggie Mash Up - one of my favorites. ALL DELICIOUS! As usual. If you are looking for great food that is always fresh, friendly service, and a menu with healthy options, you really must give them a try.

Aneisha H.

Yelp
The food was okay but the service and drinks were amazing which is how they got 4 stars but for the taste of the omelets and hash browns, they did not deliver, however the pancake did compensate and make up for that. It was a typical snooze layout and clean overall. They had multiple tvs to keep guests entertained and the parking was limited but found with ease and free. I'd go back but would adjust my expectations and ask for certain ingredients to scale the flavors of the food

Nzingha S.

Yelp
might be my new favorite breakfast/brunch spot! food was Goodt! felt and tasted home cooked and prices were very decent. hashbrowns were perfect (hey, i like my hashbrowns) and the bloody mary was spicy and strong. parking sucks, i rolled around for about 20 min. but i put my name on the waiting list beforehand, which was like a 40 min wait, so by the time i got there and found parking i only had to wait for about 10 min. i didn't like the inside, tightly crowded and loud, but the patio is great. it's a small spot in a small area so if there's a line and you're eating on patio ppl are kinda awkwardly watching you while they wait. will definitely be in my brunch rotation!

Sean O.

Yelp
I had an absolutely fantastic breakfast at Snoozed AM! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. I even had the pleasure of meeting the manager, who was incredibly friendly and professional. I witnessed her handle another customer's situation with such grace and efficiency, making sure they left happy. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a wonderful dining experience!

Stephanie Q.

Yelp
I came here in October with my dad and his wife while they had a layover! My dad's wife loved the morning marg and my dad and I enjoyed the palomimosa!

Yelp
Location Oak Lawn, on Oak Lawn Parking Small lot in front-large lot on the side Atmosphere Breakfast/ lunch/ casual eatery Seating Counter, booth, tables-inside/ out. The booth like circular seats are super! Service So friendly-home girl made it wonderful! Menu Finally, a mimosa called "splash"-yes!! Generous portion! We had the triple protein omelette with tomatoes and english muffin. Really tasty-loaded with meat-muffin toasted perfectly! Our friend has the avecado and egg/right amount of salad/avocado. Summary Did I really delete photos of the best breakfast ever-yikes! Love this place! Great location. Awesome service-the close at 2 so will see you there on Saturdays!

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Forever five stars! This location doesn't take waitlisting past a party of 7 and we were a party of 13. No problem! We selected a call time for 9am and were assured the restaurant was actually empty and it was! Shocked! And pleased. So we were immediately say 15 minutes before the call time. The server was friendly and the hostess was very kind. The kids got kids menus with crayons and were able to play tic-tac-toe and color images to keep busy. We preferred seasonal cinnamon swirl pancakes during the pancake giving time and boy was it wonderful. I love Snooze pancakes better than anyone else's. I will be back over winter break!

Gorgon S.

Yelp
The Bread Pudding French toast was absolutely delish. As you can see it comes paired with a caramel glaze and topped with fresh strawberries. This was accompanied by two cage free eggs over easy with sausage links as well for additional cost. Highly recommended

Tee L.

Yelp
Breakfast was SO good. A nice selection of healthy and unhealthy to choose from nonetheless it all was very tasty (honestly not sure what I ordered, but pics will tell it all, lol). There was a bit of a wait on a Monday afternoon, however it was worth it during my short trip to town. Ate at the Fort Worth location, parking can be slightly problematic, but overall the venue itself is nice and it's bigger than it seems from the outside. If ever back in town I'd like to eat here again. Please open one in Chicago!

Christina T.

Yelp
We arrived around 11 am on a Sunday....party of 3. We had quite a wait but it was well worth it. Our server, Erica, was great! REALLY great, actually. I left feeling like us having a great dining experience was important to her. The food looked wonderful and tasted incredible!!! The only negative thing I can say is that I wish the music wasn't so loud....I'd much prefer it be turned down some so I can chat better with the people I was dining with. I will be back. Maybe I will sit on the patio next time.

Donna E.

Yelp
The food is fire! Servers are great! Vibe is awesome! Shout out to Jessica, Theo (the new guy) Zay and Christine!!!!! We love you guys!!! See you next Sunday after church!!!

Terry P.

Yelp
Excellent customer service. Fast friendly service. Clean and spacious. The food was delicious. I was so full I couldn't finish it all. I met my Nephew in Dallas for his birthday. I really love this place.

Keyona D.

Yelp
Me and my bf got the egg white scramble with a side of hash brown and bacon. We also got 1 pineapple upside down pancake. The chicken sausage that come with the scramble is very tasty but everything else was okay. Nothing special. It's a very cute restaurant and they have a great happy hour deal going on rn.

Sonia S.

Yelp
Came to Snooze for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Online it said there was no wait but when we arrived the host said 10-15 minutes, so I would suggest still joining the wait list online. We were seated and ordered chilaquiles off their season menu and shared bread pudding French toast. I was pretty disappointed in the chilaquiles as the chips were obviously store bought and not house made and the verde salsa was just okay. The bread pudding French toast really saved the meal and was amazing. My friend and I split it and both agreed it was the best part of our breakfast. Snoozes sweet options are generally much better than savory. Our server was okay but just a bit slow. We waited probably 10 minutes upon being seated to be greeted and get drink orders. Then at the end of our meal it probably took 15 or so minutes for us to get the check. It was not too big of a deal as we were enjoying each others company and the patio, but just something to be aware of.

Raj D.

Yelp
Snooze has such an extensive menu and is one of the only brunch spots that offers savory/healthy vegan friendly options. The restaurant itself looks absolutely stunning and every experience I've had has been positive from the friendly service to the tasty food. I will definitely be coming back

Mckenzie B.

Yelp
The food was great here! We had a very attentive server and the service was great. Would definitely recommend! great environment and staff

Kelly S.

Yelp
I visited here for the first time on Sunday morning this week. I found the restaurant to be cute and inviting. Love the decor. A few days later i can't remember much about the service- that tells me it was just ok because i always remember when im wowed or when things are really bad. I love breakfast but don't go out for it that often so it was a special treat with my dad who lives in the area and comes here often. I absolutely love eggs Benedict and it is one of my specialties to make my friends and family. I love ordering it out but am frequently disappointed. Hollandaise is best fresh and doesn't sit well i can see the challenge in the restaurant setting. When i saw the selection of Benedicts on the menu i was so excited. I got really excited when i saw that i could try 2 of them on one plate. I've never seen that before and think it's amazing. I decided to go for the chile verde and the habanero pork belly. I thought between the two i would get something somewhat spicy but neither were very spicy. I started with the pork belly one. Tasted a bit of the hollandaise and it was decent. The cranberry and pork belly were so good. I wish it had more hollandaise on it. When i cut open my poached egg i was disappointed- i love a good jammy egg but this gushed out- yellow and white. It needed at least another minute or so. The chile verde one was pretty disappointing and bland. The hollandaise didn't really taste like anything and i actually had to add some salt to get some flavor. Like the first one, the egg was under cooked and gushed everywhere once cut open. I really enjoyed my little hash brown cake! My dad had coffee and the avocado toast which he has had before and really enjoys. The menu looks amazing and there are a bunch of items i would love to go back and try including the monte cristo brioche toast

Chris H.

Yelp
This place is awesome! The colorful walls and the smell of the food being cooked made me feel as if I came to the right place! The service was great! Stephanie recommended some bomb food such as the Corn Beef Hash and the Habanero Fried Rice (I know, it sounded weird to me too but it was so good; not spicy at all but you can taste the habanero). Day hooked it up with a couple coffees as we waited for our order which was placed to go. We definitely recommend this place for a great environment, great food, and amazing staff!

Caroline Z.

Yelp
Classic Breakfast, Blueberry Pancake Always my favorite standard breakfast place! Love the breakfast options here, always so well done. Adore the pancakes too! So bouncy and fluffy

Kenji T.

Yelp
Arrive at 12:32pm. Was told it would be a 20-40 min wait. After an hour we asked if we could be seated outdoors because there were plenty of empty seats. It is currently 2:08 and we are still waiting for our food. Food arrived a couple minutes later. Food was cold.

Vicki N.

Yelp
I got to snooze in every city I find myself in. It's always reliable for good food and the grits never fail. I think we ordered our food to go at this location and the parking was sketchy but it was good tasting food as usual.

sochandar e.

Yelp
Food was great ! Great portion size for some of the plates. The fried rice was delicious but for the price , I would skip ! But overall wonderful service and ambiance ! Great for a girls brunch out .

Aaron S.

Yelp

Yelp
The food here is consistently very good. The cinnamon roll pancakes are delicious! I also like the Ham Benedict III. The host Jacob is amazing, always makes us feel welcome and helps take care of us.

Marla C.

Yelp
Went here for brunch. I will start with the positives and then things to consider if you are going to go to this location. First, I love that Yelp can add you to the wait list. What a win because this location is very busy, so I would highly recommend using this feature if you are going during prime time. Second, I appreciate that they have water and cups available while guests wait for a table because if you can't get a spot inside the air conditioner while you wait, it is very hot standing outside. Third, the staff is phenomenal, from the hostess to the wait staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Our waiter was Quin, he was on it. He got our order right the first time without writing anything down. My drink was made without the jalapeno infused tequila, and he resolved it quickly. My daughter had also ordered lemonade, but it was watered down. He brought her a new one and in a to go glass because he knew we were almost done with our meal. Finally, the food, yummy, yummy yummy! I got hot tea, an adult beverage, the habanero pork belly fried rice that Quin recommended, and it did not disappoint. If you like a little kick, this is the entree that you want. I also got maple black pepper bacon. It was good, but I thought it was going to be more of a glaze, but it was just syrup with black ground pepper on top of bacon. I also got a regular pancake on the side, and that can never go wrong. There are also so many different things on the menu, so you will definitely find something to eat and drink. Things to consider but not worth dropping a star, parking is limited. There is street parking and a Walgreens right next door, but you could get a ticket or towed if you choose to park there. The other thing is it is normally at least an hour wait if you don't get on the wait list ahead of time. So think about those things before you go eat.

Brittany M.

Yelp
I used to visit Snooze often when I lived in Denver, so it was a delightful surprise to find one here in Austin. This time, I tried the sweet potato pancakes, but they were much too sweet for my taste. Next time, I'll stick with my favorite--Eggs Benedict.

Jac B.

Yelp
Really high quality breakfast foods and good flavors, also sinful selections. Service is good and friendly. Recommend joining online yelp waitlist; very accurate updates.

Kimari C.

Yelp
Been here a couple Times and was satisfied both times ! Service is nice is nice, ambiance is hip, and food is delicious!

Janet M.

Yelp
We came here for breakfast during our trip to Dallas. We had a great experience from the service to the food and drinks. My spuds deluxe was tasty and my boyfriend loved his snooze classic. Our waitress named Day was wonderful, just a cool and kind person who made our experience the best. Thank you!

Lori Z.

Yelp
Great breakfast, huge selection and lots of friendly folks. Theo was our server, very knowledgable about the menu and attentive. Will definitely return!

Elisa M.

Yelp
Met a friend for brunch and although there is another location, this was closest so we decided to give it a try. With that said I can't recommend this enough, use Yelp! and get on the waitlist! This place was extremely busy for a Saturday afternoon. So we arrive at the restaurant and it's in a spot with two adjoining businesses that has two handicap parking spots and I believe two regular spots. You didn't read that wrong. There is street parking however there are signs that say 2 hour parking and if you didn't get on that waitlist, you easily can burn an hour waiting to get a table. We checked in with the hostess at the designated time, asked if we wanted to sit inside or out (their patio does have umbrellas and is pet friendly), and yet we still had a few people ahead of us. We were offered water while we waited however there isn't a designated waiting area so we were all kinda bunched in where we fit in while we waited. *I would recommend that you look over a menu while you wait so you have an idea of what you want. When we got seated, our waiter Quinn, made us feel welcomed. We had a few questions, he made some recommendations and we put our order in. Our food came out quickly and it looked appealing. My friend had an issue with her drink, which Quinn quickly fixed and her daughter had an issue with her lemonade. First it lacked any lemon taste and then when we mentioned it to Quinn, he resolved it however this looked better but the taste was bitter, so it was a huge fail. Let's talk about my meal. I got the dual Benny - so I was a little skeptical when I ordered it, but I would order it again. I'm not a huge fan of ham but this was sliced thinly and the Benedict was delicious! The smashed avocado Benny was what I was looking forward to however sadly something went wrong. That runny yoke that makes a poached egg what it is when you cut into it, was missing from my plate. So I was slightly disappointed but overall it had a good taste. The hash brown was okay, tasted a little onion forward. So even with all of the hustle and bustle going on, as I mentioned it was busy, the staff were friendly, the place was clean and it was a good meal, so I'd go back again.

Yelp
Updating based on my recent to go order experience. My mother has cancer and recently got diagnosed with Covid. I had planned to take her to brunch at Snooze before she got diagnosed with Covid. So I decided to surprise her with a to go order instead. I got up early. Ordered. Got confirmation that my pick up time would be 9:05. I got there at 9:05. I was excited because she was still sleeping and this would allow me to truly surprise her. I waited until close to 9:40 for my order to come out. You pick to go orders up from the bar. Only one person was waiting ahead of me and the restaurant was not crowded at this time. When I got there at 9:05, the person at the bar said it isn't ready yet. When she finally went to get it, it was very cold, which was a bummer because now I have to find a way to heat all of this food while trying to surprise my mom before she awakes. The person who runs the bar is the person who has to go to the back, so QC on the orders and make sure condiments are added into the orders. Then comes to the front and bag them. I'm convinced my order was cold and late because the person at the bar didn't make time to go to the back and get it. I would recommend they change this process. Have a kitchen person bring the order to the bar when it is ready. Also, we ordered the same thing we always order when dining in and it was not good. Probably because we have to reheat. The price point on one sausage patty is extreme. Almost $6 per patty. It was so rubbery and not edible after reheating. The Egg white omelette has always been my fave. It was horrible and didn't have any flavor such as salt or pepper. The hashbrowns tasted leftover from yesterday rather than being fresh. And the pineapple upside down pancake that I love so much was a huge disappointment after having to reheat. I love Snooze as a dine in place only. I'll never order to go from here again and don't recommend anyone do so

Stephanie W.

Yelp
Great food and friendly service. I always love snooze! Such a good brunch spot with fun ambience! The benedicts are great! I got the benny duo woth the bella and pork belly benedicts. They did such a good job with the cheese grits too. I like to add serrano hot sauce to it, but they are good alpne too. The classic is another great option and the pancakes are huge and tasty!

Ellen B.

Yelp
Always excellent service. I've never been disappointed. Food too is consistent and it' remains one of my favorites. A tiny bit loud but it's an up beat, well lit place so it all fits! Super cool retro decor!!!

Zachary L.

Yelp
I don't even know where to start with this one. I've been coming to snooze for years now and every single time I get the corned beef hash. You simply can't go wrong. I've thought more about my corned beef hash experiences than I have about my new born child. If that doesn't tell you something then Baylor mental hospital isn't too far away.

Dallas G.

Yelp
Well, this was a jinxed experience on many levels...so where to start...3 in the party asked for a booth, they said we had to take table (2 booths open next to us when we were seated), we asked for 3 waters, one with lemon, one no ice, we got 3 waters all iced no lemon, asked if they had syrup without sugar (diabetes concern), they said yes. Hour wait, avocado eggs Benedict was brown and literally could not cot through the muffin, simple breakfast, bacon was literally black...both had hash browns that were cold, blueberry pancakes looked good but did not have syrup which was requested. We asked for manager, said he should be embarrassed and he agreed he was and said he was trying to get kitchen under control. We left. Austin location is SO much better. Very sad

Leonard H.

Yelp
The pumpkin pancake, coffee, and omelette were exquisitely. Delicious! My server was so caring, attentive, and allow me space to enjoy my meal. The conversation between us was so delightful on a Sunday afternoon! I love the open door, patio and table umbrella! Would definitely recommend a Sunday brunch or weekday breakfast!

Aleshia B.

Yelp
This is a go to spot when visiting Dallas. Convient spot in relation to location to Downtown Dallas. Has a nice sized parking lot as well for the area of Dallas it's in. Food is amazing!

Madison K.

Yelp
This was my second time visiting a Snooze in Dallas and it's just so good. My husband ordered a Benny and I have a traditional breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, and ham, and then we shared a strawberry shortcake pancake. Everything was delicious and our server, Angelia, was amazing!

Alex C.

Yelp
The pancakes may be a bit too sweet for me but I love the savory selection of egg dishes. I love the fact that you can get a half order of the potato hash. I did have a delightful cocktail one late morning. The service is usually quick and efficient. In can get crowded at the rush hours but i can usually find a table. I also liked the bar when i sat there once. I recommend the coffee too. In general it quite light and roomy. The booths are comfy and spacious. There's free parking in the lot next door. Some bicyclists must have terrorized someone there as it's "signed" as "no bikes" and bike parking is around the corner off Lamar.

Tonya W.

Yelp
Dae was so sweet, attentive and helpful with breakfast choice's. Drink was so delicious and so strong. Restaurant is fun and not crowded per usual. Clean and easy to have conversations with people and the staff.

Peter F.

Yelp
Snooze is an AMAZING breakfast spot! The food was delicious, with many unique and mouthwatering options. The service and atmosphere was also wonderful! The staff made it such a fun and lively place to be. They were warm and welcoming with a whole lot of flair. I would go back just to hang with the staff. The GM Brandi was so passionate and relatable too. I'm definitely going back! Thank you Snoozers! God bless you! See y'all soon! Pete and Kenny xoxo

Michelle B.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast with various food items. I ordered the sweet potato hash-up with a side order of vegan Soyrizo. It was tasty, delicious and filling. The hubster had vegan banana bliss pancakes topped with fresh fruit which he stated was light and airy which garnered 4/5 stars. Service was good and the waitress was personable but she was not attentive because we had to ask for the check. We sat outside on a beautiful day and the ambience couldn't be better. Overall, a good experience with dining at Snooze.

C R.

Yelp
The wait was long for 2. Great place... cute place! Would like to see more of them! Just more accommodations to the crowd size.

Chris B.

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance is fantastic! Must try the OMG French toast and benedicts.

KJ P.

Yelp
Juan's breakfast tacos were wonderful the eggs so freaking fluffy and the sauce was chef's kiss!!

Came to Dallas for the weekend and FINALLY tried this place. I've seen it pop up several times while in the area prior to this trip. Walking in, the vibe was so cool & had such a vintage feel to it. The service was great considering how busy it was as well. Our food was SO good & I will definitely be missing this place!
