The 19 Best Coffee Shops In San Francisco - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The reason to head to Snowbird is simple—you love strong and mind-bendingly good coffee. This quiet cafe in the Inner Sunset serves knockout cortados, affogatos, and cafe bomboms (two espresso shots over condensed milk) in a dark, cave-like space with low ceilings. Seating-wise, there's a standing bar and a bench out front, so your best bet is to take an espresso drink to go, especially if you’re about to walk in nearby Golden Gate Park." - julia chen 1, lani conway, ricky rodriguez, patrick wong

12 Great Spots For Iced Coffee

"In old times, the snug Inner Sunset cafe was a quiet place to read or tinker on our computers (you haven’t lived unless you’ve shared one of their tiny round tables with a complete stranger). We also love their large selection of espresso drinks - all the standards, plus refreshing iced matcha lattes, affogatos, and cold brew coffee." - julia chen 1, lani conway

Nine Spicy and Creamy Chai Drinks to Keep You Cozy in San Francisco | Eater SF

"Though this cafe has still yet to open for indoor dining, the chai here is worth the trek to 9th Avenue. The chai is sweet, but not overly so, and for $4.50 this puts Snowbird at a slightly cheaper price than its competitors, too." - Paolo Bicchieri

Google
Came in here for the first time today and I’m so glad I did! Their matcha oat latte was soooo yummy and their staff was so accommodating and friendly. I have a dairy allergy and their staff was so careful about not making my drink with any contamination — it was really sweet and of course I didn’t have any issues 😇 The matcha they use is soooo yummy, I’ve had a lot of matcha (as this is my beverage of choice) but I now feel like this earned my top choice for matcha lattes. This is now one of my favorite matcha spots in the city. I intend to buy some matcha next time I stop by. Thank you so much!! 🩵 Highly recommend this spot you won’t regret it!

Google
We’ve been searching San Francisco this week for the best mochas. This place has a line of locals, because it’s obviously really good. A few seats outside, but mainly just to go orders. Guys working are super chill. Love it

Google
Cute cafe in inner sunset! Unfortunately i did not really enjoy the pour over, but I will definitely try other drinks!

Google
The coffee here is excellent—rich flavor and clear quality you can taste. Prices are on the higher side for the one size option, so value depends on what you’re looking for. Service is not especially fast or warm, and the shop is small, but the product speaks for itself. Despite the drawbacks, I would return and recommend Snowbird Café to anyone who prioritizes great coffee.

Google
Staff member was very kind to explain all their specialties in detail. Such good coffee and a vibe. Will reccomend

Google
Awarding 3 stars for decent coffee and 4 stars for kind service from a kind young man. Cappuccinos were decent and cortado was good. This establishment sells its marquee beans which they roast and offer to other cafes. That’s a big plus for me and we purchased single origin Sumatra beans to take home. Merchandise for sale effectively promotes their brand. It’s a hole in the wall with no seating to speak of. Didn’t help that 1 hour earlier I visited Coffee Movement on Balboa Street which is a top tier establishment on national scale - and coffee drinks at a lower price point. There are other coffee houses that offer better cups than Snowbird in San Francisco which you can find by reading my reviews.

Google
Delicious coffee! I ordered an oat cappuccino and totally loved the texture and flavor of the coffee. Their coffee is velvety, smooth and balanced. Prices are comparable to local coffee shops in SF area. Highly recommend this place for a great cup of coffee!

Google
Great vibes, the baristas were really nice and the decor was rad. The beans smelled really good and they had a good mix of different bean origins available. Coffee is medium roast, a little on the darker side but without the astringcy/bitterness. Parking is limited!

Yelp
Seems criminal that I haven't reviewed Snowbird yet since I visit it weekly... so here is my overdue review! My favorite local coffee shop. Maybe my favorite in the city. Staff are super friendly and chill and always give my dog Rusty a treat. Coffee is consistent and the Spaniard (condensed milk latte) is my go-to order, delicious hot or cold. Over the weekend they serve delicious Filipino-inspired pastries (ube and calamansi buns from La Kalidad) and they have a solid weekday rotation too. The space is small, some standing room with a selection of their beans and merch on display - encouraging you to explore the neighborhood rather than sit in a coffee shop all day... If you see a line know it's worth the wait!!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a coffee shop for coffee people and my go-to spot for a caffeine fix. They have a robust (but not extravagant) menu of classic and niche coffee and espresso drinks. They'll do a dirty chai if you ask them (but probably not a PSL - they seem above such frivolity). Probably my favorite thing on the menu is the Spaniard, a latte of sorts made with condensed milk. I would advise trying everything else on the menu first because once you have a Spaniard, you won't want anything else. Also, they use frozen coffee in their cold brew, which I so very much appreciate. Snowbird is primarily a place for good coffee, not for gathering, and the only seating is a bench on the sidewalk outside. However, they have some limited food offerings from local vendors (e.g., Filipino pastries and, more recently, a pop-up sandwich service on weekends). But this is just icing on the proverbial cake. This place is about coffee and they do it really well.

Yelp
Drop in spot. Casual vibe roaster. Can get crowded so be patient. Great taste w/ a solid caffeine hit.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Saturday hoping for a punchy iced matcha latte. I ordered my drink with oat milk and was ready to feel the caffeine course through me. However the matcha fell short of having that signature mildly sweet and earthy flavor. Would love to come back and try some of the other drinks but pass on the matcha latte if you're a matcha fiend.

Yelp
This little coffee shop was the only local one I could find open in the UCSF area on a Sunday morning! It's very small inside and had a long line, but went by quickly. The lady who helped me with my order was very kind in explaining all of their special drinks to me. I ordered an iced version of one of the specialty drinks that was similar to a macchiato with honey and cinnamon (can't remember the name), which was $5. There were also lots of people in line with their doggos!
google avatar

Yelp
okay latte, the coffee was pretty astringent and I probably should've swapped the milks out

Yelp
Small coffee shop without indoor seating but very good coffee. I've walked past snowbird many times, and this day decided to stop in on my way for a morning walk through nearby Golden Gate Park. Snowbird meets expectations for a slightly more high-end coffee shop and sets itself apart for the various unique espresso options on the menu. Definitely worth a stop for a quick AM coffee hit!
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
Good simple coffee shop! Very small interior so no tables for sitting...but decent sized coffee for the price. No frills coffee shop - whole milk, almond, or oat and basic menu. But I like that! Apparently the Spaniard is tasty...so will be back
google avatar

Karen Y.

Yelp
Finally had the opportunity to come here since they're only opened for a certain number of hours daily. The inside is super cute and this is definitely a to-go place as there's no seating inside or outside. Based on Yelp reviews (thank you fellow reviewers!), I decided to order the Spaniard with almond milk. I was a little disappointed with how small the cup was (especially the price) when my name was called but after sipping it throughout the morning, it did have enough caffeine to get me through the day. It was a really delicious. If you're in the neighborhood, please check this place out!

Yelp
Amazing espresso and quick service. We were in SF for a weekend getaway and woke up wanting a good local coffee shop. A quick search in our area and yelp review search led us here. Since we used yelp to find it- I decided to pass on the magic. Try the Spaniard!!!! I wish I could have 3 of those a day. Super smooth, not too sweet, the perfect little morning treat. There is no seating inside, but a quick place to grab a coffee and continue your morning stroll.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
A no-frills coffee shop that serves a killer coffee. I stopped by on a lazy Sunday morning for my caffeine kick, and was greeted by a fairly small shop. Didn't see any seating inside or out, so purely a grab and go place. I got a cortado, and this was probably one of the best I've had in the city. Perfectly balanced roast, with a nice mouthfeel and ratio of milk to espresso. Not much to review, just a great cup of coffee. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Divya K.

Yelp
No frills coffee shop. No seating / basic coffee drinks and they have just vanilla syrup. I enjoyed my hot cup of vanilla latte! I don't know if this will be my go-to coffee spot since I'm a flavored latte admirer but I wouldn't mind returning if snowbird is an option on my way. Parking is busy, might want to street park a block or two down.
google avatar

Merisa R.

Yelp
I had the Bombón, which is espresso over condensed milk. It was pretty good. It's a small cafe. If you're in a rush to get coffee or espresso stop here. Customer service was mediocre.
google avatar

Chris J.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee shops in the city. I love love their cold brew so much that I don't get anything else. They have a bunch of pastries but still only get cold brew. The staff is always so friendly and drinks are quick. They're actually on too good to go app as well but have not picked up a surprise bag yet. Only downfall here is the location in sunset can often be busy and parking is tough.
google avatar

Hubert L.

Yelp
Came here during a weekend morning while waiting for bread nearby. I saw locals waiting so I thought it'd be an exciting venture :) The shop is super small but homely, pretty standard coffee fair. I got one of their specialties (the spaniard) and it was pretty flavorful! A little on the sweeter side though for my palette Not a bad place to stop by for coffee in the area~
google avatar

Gabrielle J.

Yelp
Quick and excellent little coffee place in the Sunset. Baristas are nice. Easy access from the N and makes for a great morning or afternoon accessory to get before taking a stroll in the Botanical Gardens. Love the espresso and oat milk cappuccino. Just had their seasonal Ube drink that was delicious and definitely worth trying. I like to pick up a bag of Ethiopian beans for home. Also one of my favorite gifts to take to a friends house if they appreciate good coffee. Only reason this isn't a 5 star review is there is no seating. none.
google avatar

Franklin Z.

Yelp
I love coming to snowbird for a quick coffee fix to-go for the day as it's just walking distance to where I work! There are no seats, so it's more of a grab-and-go type of place. I like their coffee taste a lot more compared to other ones in the area. Their service is speedy, and there has only been one time when the line was long and my drink took a while to prepare. I really enjoy the Spaniard drink and do not think it is too sweet! I also appreciate how they add coffee ice cubes in the cold brew so that the drink does not get too diluted.
google avatar

Yelp
- a pretty small coffee shop with no seating, they have a side bar by the window where you can stand though - while waiting for your coffee you can look at the cute merchandise they have displayed on the walls - coffee beans, mugs, tote bags - none of the drinks have explanations of what they are so you either have to ask the cashier or look through yelp, which is what i ended up doing - spaniard (4/5): latte sweetened with condensed milk. the coffee could've been a little stronger since i felt like the drink was milkier than a normal latte, but it was very smooth and creamy. you can tell they use quality ingredients! they also give you latte art despite being in a to-go cup which was cute. - probably wouldn't come back unless a friend wanted to go just because i feel like the drink i tried wasn't really my taste, but i would definitely try something else since the quality is there
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute, smaller coffee shop with great chai! We stopped by on a chillier morning while walking to the academy of sciences. No seating inside but the space is cute and minimalist, decent pricing considering what other shops in the area charge. Our drinks were ready pretty quickly and tasted great.

Brooke F.

Yelp
The coffee here is very expensive. I've tried the Spaniard a couple of times but now it's almost $7. It's tasty but not worth it ESPECIALLY since there's nowhere to sit inside like a normal coffee shop. Stopped going here once they no longer have tables. Bummer. (Beanery less than a block away has tons of tables)
google avatar

Yelp
Fast, friendly service. Cute little cafe located in the sunset. Merch available for purchase. I ordered a macchiato and it was super strong and creamy, just what I needed to kick start my morning
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Great Coffee and service was awesome! Visited this place 5 times on my last trip to visit my son in SF. Fresh poured and Turkish coffee!
google avatar

Yelp
They think the pandemic came and never left. No seating still in 2024. But hey feel free to tip us 25% for uninviting atmosphere on your take out order.

Yelp
"My grandfather's 86 and he's having a baby. Man, I hope when I'm 86 I can have babies." - Enrique Eh? Maybe not a good idea, Enrique! After a morning jog of a block lol, and some artisan baked bites later, it was time for some good coffee. I didn't have to journey far as just across the street of where I was bunkered down from the rain, I notice a sign for Snowbird Coffee! Independent coffee it is! I quickly Yelp pre-entering (mandatory in the new norm) and immediately notice El Spaniard. Okay this time it has nothing to do with Enrique Iglesias, instead it's a Latté with pretty positive reviews. And on a whim I enter and order El Spaniard! The Barista was very social and confidently said I'd enjoy it! As I wait for my custom El Spaniard, basically a Latté with Expresso and Condensed Cream, to be made, I notice a very cozy interior with natural light and no seating haha, however what it lacks in minimalist furniture, it more than makes up with vintage decor and wicked cool knickknacks. There's also a standup bar near the bay window if need be, or a shared parklet just outside. El Spaniard is ready! Olé!!! I decide to take El Spaniard with me as I slowly walk back on the avenues. Sipping, stopping, sipping, stopping brought me back to my days in Barcelona. The flavors made me smile thinking of myself sipping Spanish coffee in a churros shop. Ahhhh. In the end, I'd return to Snowbird Coffee. Yes, it's on par price wise with other higher-end coffee shops, the menu is limited, but what's on the menu is done right. I just wish they had warm churros... oh well.

Yelp
The perfect morning for me is a tomato and cheese foccacia from Arizmendi across the street and a nice Iced drink from Snowbird. Thats a really great way to start a work day! They have espresso drinks that I have not encountered from other coffee shops before like Spaniard and Brevano. Both of which are my favorite! They have a delicious cold brew and lattes. This coffee shop always hits right every time! My go-to drinks are: - Spaniard (has espresso and sweetened with condensed milk and regular/alternative milk) - sooo freaking delicious! - Brevano (espresso, half n half, milk, wild honey) - this is my current favorite!!! - latte (espresso and milk - love it with oat milk) - classic and you can really taste a nice, robust espresso I usually get these drinks Iced because I like to chug down my coffee. They also sell whole coffee beans as well which changes every now and then. I saw they have one called Philippines Sitio Naguey so i HAD to pick it up to support my people!! My coffee grinder is broken at the moment so I haven't tried it yet (although I'm sure they can grind it up to your liking if you want) but it's just another excuse for me to come back for that Brevano in the morning!
google avatar

Kayla D.

Yelp
A small coffee shop with everything is super cute. Their services are also good and the staff is friendly
google avatar

Brett B.

Yelp
Stopped here for coffee after loading up on goodies at Arizmendi and am so glad I did. It's a SUPER small spot, and they don't allow customers to use the restroom (not even 8 year old girls). Fortunately, the coffee is fantastic. Their cold brew was good, which is never the case. Not sure which blend they use, but it has good flavor, which is incredibly rare. Also, they use cold brew ice cubes so it doesn't get watered down. Because said cold brew was so good I also bought a bag of their Ethiopia Guji. The beans are beautiful: super lightly roasted, golden brown. There is a certain aroma expected of washed Ethiopian coffee, but this one has an aroma like a naturally processed Central American coffee, it's nuts, but smells amazing. The flavor profile is similar to the aroma, dark honey and fruit, again not typical of the region, but delicious nonetheless. I'd be happy to stop by next time I'm in the area and hope they can expand their single origin offerings given the adventure the first one took me on. Nice work Snowbird!

Yelp
I love coffee and this is one of the best coffees in the neighborhood but I don't think I'll be going back much. It used to be such a good deal not long ago in January when it was $4.25 for a cappuccino but it went up to $4.50 in February and today it jumped another 75 cents to $5.25. That means if you have a cappuccino a day you'd be spending over $1900/year. And their cappuccino is on 6oz and when you bring in a person cup to be eco which also happens to save them the cost of the cup most of the time they still only give you around that amount which I find a bit unsatisfying. A block away you can get a 12oz cappuccino at Starbucks for $4.25 and they give you a 10 cent cup discount. So at $4.15 you'll save about 400 bucks a year. Plus you can order ahead on their app so I always get Starbucks when I'm driving to work because it saves me a bit of time in the morning.
google avatar

Olya D.

Yelp
I really enjoy these guy's coffee. Lattes and cappuccinos are absolutely delicious. It's always a bit of a wait to get your drink here, I just assume that is because the baristas pay attention to each drink. Their pastries are ok so I usually just get a coffee here and a pastry across the street.
google avatar

Catherine H.

Yelp
Sunday scaries are easier with good coffee!! Had my dog today (which thankfully they welcome our furry friends inside - one of the few establishments around) so we went a little quick for our coffee run. I got a cold brew, which I noticed the ice they use is probably frozen cold brew as well can't go wrong with cold brew tbh. They had my cold brew ready in literally ten seconds and I also got a passion fruit kouign amann and a orange blossom cardamom bun. I can't say which I like better bc they're both soooo good. The kouign amann is great if you like sweeter pastries and the bun has a delicious light cream inside. The vibes are always immaculate here and everyone is friendly. Make sure to take a look at their super cute merch inside!
google avatar

Paria A.

Yelp
Snowbird is a great local coffee spot that roasts their own beans. I've gotten their decaf Americano here a few times and always been really happy with it. They have great coffee! Besides drinks, they also sell some pastries, bags of beans and merch. Shop is very clean and organized. Staff are super attentive and friendly. Sadly, the location still hasn't reopened the inside for seating. This is my go-to coffee spot when I'm in the neighborhood. Definitely check it out!
google avatar

Connor L.

Yelp
Pretty good matcha, but wasn't blown away by any means. No inside seating and pretty expensive. Their coffee did look tasty though.
google avatar

Bella M.

Yelp
My matcha was perfectly sweet. I got a hot matcha latte with almond milk and a little vanilla. The price was a bit much which was my only critique. Nice people and nice vibe inside also.
google avatar

Sheryl B.

Yelp
Waiting for our order at the well known bakery--we glanced across the street and saw this cute little coffeehouse! Decided to try out the coffee here to have with our baked goods. LATTE - straight forward, very good! SPANIARD - Spanish latte - espresso with a base of milk and condensed milk. Rich, sweet (but not too sweet), very similar to a Cuban café con leche. I'd get this again! Small space, no inside seating, meant for take out only.
google avatar

Jan H.

Yelp
A warm and inviting place to escape tucked away beneath window frames of a faded apartment complex. Locals absorbed in conversations. Serves their own small-batch roasts offering standard coffee and duo specialties. Got their delightfully fantastic "Cafe Bombon" (espresso shot topped with floater of condensed milk). When served in a glass it is stunning so one can see the partition between the condensed milk and strong espresso, with the two contrasting colors! And a yummy iced dubbed the "Shakerato", a tasty dreamy frothy glory sure to add a lovely joy any time of the day. Loved both drinks as it rides a subtle line between the bold tang of espresso and the lovely rich, thick sweetness of condensed milk. Attentively skilled and quite pleasant service staff.
google avatar

Yelp
When I am in SF to visit my parents and my brother who reside in the Sunset neighborhood, this is my go-to coffee spot. As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur I think that their coffee is top notch. I am not into trendy hipster places, I just want good coffee and you can find it here. This is also an Asian owned establishment, and they care deeply about providing excellent service and it shows. I love the Turkish coffee and my wife's favorite is the oat milk cappuccino. Their hot drinks always hits the spot, particularly on cold foggy day in the city.
google avatar

Aaron C.

Yelp
Always been a fan of this place. Thankful they have been able to stay alive during the pandemic. Situated in a dope area of inner sunset, close to the farmers market location, Irving hub where the N turns. Arizmendi is super close. Just a dope location. They used to have their bottled cold brews, unless they brought them back and I didn't see it. Just a cozy cafe with dope owners and people working there. Support local and enjoy a brew. "Coffee for the dreamers" as they say outside of the store haha.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
No comment on the coffee, but the $5.50 chai tea was pure sugar and the $4.50 loose leaf tea is 12oz only and they don't steep it for you. I didn't ask for a comp on the sugar water chai towards replacement loose leaf tea, but they didn't offer anything either, despite initially asking them not to make the chai sweet. I guess $5.50 just gets you a couple pumps of syrup and they call that a chai.
google avatar

Sophia G.

Yelp
Great little coffee shop with unique drinks and friendly staff! Snowbird is a hidden gem in the Sunset. The coffee is great and they have several specialty lattes to choose from and can accommodate dairy and non-dairy options. I've also gotten a matcha latte there that was quite smooth and unsweetened, which I prefer. Also, the matcha wasn't very earthy (for the record, i actually love the earthy taste of matcha, but i know many friends who don't). There is a bench outside that can seat a couple of folks and a standing counter inside, but I wouldn't count on drinking your beverage there. Golden Gate Park is only a couple blocks away, I love sipping my warm drink and strolling through the park. Cheers!

Yelp
Came in on a Wednesday morning around 9:40am. There was no line. I ordered the mocha. Mocha was good. I thought it could have used a bit more chocolate, but the coffee was strong and rich. Even after it cooled down a bit, the coffee was still delicious. Ordering was easy. After you order, you wait outside. They'll call your name when the order is ready. It was a seamless process.

Yelp
** The following review reflects my experience prior to the shelter-in-place order currently in effect. ** I wonder how a popular compact coffee spot like this will fare in a post-COVID-19 world. I'm not sure if they're offering takeout caffeine orders since it's way out of my shelter-in-place range now. However, when I was able to patronize this spot just before the mandate, it felt like a cozy place to hang with your buddies or your colleagues over a fashion-forward beverage like a Cafe Bombon or a Shakerato. I wasn't that creative and had a satisfying $3 Batch Brew (photo: https://bit.ly/2RJgaiP). I think a snowbird refers to a northerner who pulls up stakes and moves southward during the winter months. This snowbird will one day pull up stakes and go westward after this pandemic subsides. COFFEE - 4 stars...a happy brew AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...darkish and compact ...uh-oh SERVICE - 3.5 stars...pretty friendly TOTAL - 4 stars...doing the java jive RELATED - Looking for a cup of coffee in the city? Yelp
Lots of coffee competition in this area. Love their brevano. 4 stars instead of 5 because they really really need to bring back some seating!!!

Yelp
Coffee was delicious a f and the ice to drink ratio was . I got a iced oat latte , would recommend to all. Inside was cute and decor was givinggg

Cindy J.

Yelp
Coffee is great and the staff is very thoughtful and considerate! I forget the name of what I got but it had sweetened condensed milk and was delicious!

Yelp
Great place with great coffee. My oat milk latte was delightful, and I appreciated seeing cold brew ice cubes in their cold brew drink!

Yelp
Disclaimer I'm a caffeine weenie so I can't speak for the coffee! I parked myself here for a good few hours to read one chilly morning when I was visiting sf. I got a matcha latte (not the most flavorful/strong one I've ever had but it's okie) and sat at one of the tables by the door! The vibe is really cozy and cute for the most part; my friend describes it as "like the inside of a ski lodge." I just wish they closed the door because I legit had to wear my winter puffer about 20 minutes in!

Yelp
When you hang out on Yelp too much, you find Snowbird Coffee on Yelp because it's a newer, fun coffee shop and people try it and leave it on Yelp. I have not written a review in like 6 days, but not a complete week. As you know, I tried to write more TripAdvisor reviews. Yelp is for coffee shops like Snowbird! So here, Snowbird, I have a review for you... Snowbird has a basic cafe list, and I looked for a unique drink. I found the Cafe "Bombon." I asked the cashier what the Bombon is and he said it's "2 shots of espresso over condensed milk." Alright, so I decided to try it. And then I got it eventually after waiting in a busy line. Then, it was handed to me in a small, cardboard espresso cup(well, I wanted it to-go)...and it looked like chocolate milk or mocha. And then I had the Bombon. I had to sip it and then I judged it. It was a mocha-like espresso and I did not feel the texture of condensed milk, but it was a little sweeter I'd say. Hmm...trying very interesting coffee drinks is fun...and a total waste of cash...but it makes my reviews more interesting on Yelp..so here's to the "Bombon" at Snowbird! Snowbird has some apparel on sale, and you can hang out at the cafe. It's near 9th and Judah...I got a bagel after and then I found myself at the bookstore(Green Apple)...and this is what you can do at 9th and Irving..and then you can take the N Judah home... Have a nice day!

Yelp
Brief Summary: - Cozy cafe with a good amount of seats - Strong and good coffee - Coffee isn't sour - Recommend the chai latte - Quiet ambience We arrived around the mid-afternoon, and there were some guests sitting in various areas of the cafe. The oblong shaped cafe stretched far to the end. I was surprised when I entered the cafe because it appeared small from the outside. The ordering station was in the center of the long cafe, so we ordered the latte and decided to try the chai latte because of the festive mood and also the weather was dreary and rainy. The drinks arrived quickly, one after another. The latte was a cup of strong coffee but with no sourness. The first sip was a punch of rich coffee flavor that settled quietly after finishing the drink. The overall flavor is mellow and the taste was constant through the rest of the drink. I was also pleased how the coffee didn't sour up as it cooled down. I really enjoyed this coffee and I would like to come back here and try it again. We were also loved the chai latte. The presentation was petite and lovely: the chai latte was on top and sprinkled with cinnamon. When sipped, there was a subtle taste of chai blended with the creamy milk taste. The foam was bouncy and I liked it xD What a good drink to have for the cold and rainy season.

I've been extremely disappointed with this institution lately. Snowbird is a neighborhood favorite in the Sunset, and I've frequented it for years, but the last two visits I've had in the last couple of weeks, I've order just a simple black coffee, and both times the coffee has been basically cold and slightly stale tasting. I understand that coffee is not always brewed right before you order, but as a coffee shop that's going to charge $4 for just plain black coffee, it should at least not be cold. The coffee is basically not drinkable at that point.
