So Bar Richmond

Came in for an afternoon drink and the service and drinks were all beautiful. Our server who's name has escaped me was incredible so friendly! Jamaican John was by far my favourite!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my birthday party at SO Bar in Richmond, and I cannot praise this venue enough. We booked the lounge area upstairs, which turned out to be the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration. From the moment we arrived, the entire team—Tom, Paw, Brian, and all the bartenders—were incredibly attentive and ready to support us in any way they could. Their exceptional service made everything seamless and stress-free, allowing me to fully enjoy my special day. One of the highlights was the flexibility the venue offered. I was able to decorate the space exactly how I wanted and play my own music, which really personalized the experience. The ambiance was perfect for my group of 30-40 friends, creating an intimate yet lively atmosphere. The cocktails were simply outstanding. Each drink was crafted with care and precision, making our evening even more enjoyable. Whether you’re hosting an event or just looking for a place to enjoy some high-quality cocktails, SO Bar is the place to be. Discovered a hidden gem in Richmond, walked in on a bustling Friday without a reservation, and experienced exceptional service. Despite the busyness, they promptly seated us, and the welcoming staff enhanced the overall atmosphere. The cocktails were beautifully crafted and tasted great. Though it’s a small bar, the coziness adds to its charm. A must-visit if you find yourself strolling through the streets of Richmond.

Bryan the bar manager was absolutely lovely and offered us several recommendations which were exactly to our taste!!! The barman Daniel made such good drinks, we loved every single one. This is our second time here, our first time was our first date then we came back for our 6 months and we just love it. Even when there’s not loads of people it’s such a wonderful place to visit if you’re looking for a good drink 🥰

We held a private function here in the private hire bar upstairs & everything, absolutely everything, was perfect. The setting, staff & service (shout out to Tom, Bryan & Pavel), food & drinks & minimum spend were all so great. Tom was so accommodating, answering all of our questions, tailoring a cocktail menu to our requirements & providing the most delicious food. We had the best night in this cosy, atmospheric bar and will absolutely be back again. We are so glad we chose this venue. Thank you so much guys - looking forward to drinks downstairs again soon.

It's so disappointing... I went there with my friends for a drink after we had a dinner somewhere else. We ordered 3 drinks, one non-alcoholic. We were charged £40. The prices in drinks menu were different so we were charged 5 pounds extra plus we paid another 4.50 service charge, actually almost £10 for just so. Weird.

What an amazing experience at this bar! The vibes, the drink and the decor was divine. The service provided by Josh and Michael was outstanding. So welcoming and friendly. The cocktails were exquisite. I will defiantly be going back as I had such a memorable time! I would defiantly recommend this place to all my friends!
