So Sushi

So fresh, so delicious, So Sushi! Just discovered this restaurant recently and I love it! The food is fresh and fabulous. Their chefs really know how to highlight the natural flavor of the fish. Their hot saki is smooth and delicious, served piping hot. The decor and atmosphere are hip, but not hipster, if you know what I mean. So Sushi feels refined, yet relaxing and welcoming. It's great for date night, but you could also bring the kids along for family night. Whether you sit at the bar or a table, it's a great experience with excellent service. Can't wait to go back sometime soon!

The food lost its quality 😭 The teriyaki beef wasn't even marinated in the sauce they just gave it to me on the side. The shrimp roll had brown avocado and too much cucumber! The spicy tuna is not even spicy. The miso soup was probably the best thing and that's about it.

Super fast order to table. They fit us in even when they were booked solid. Atmosphere was fun and busy! Everyone was enjoying themselves.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The restaurant was clean and had a sleek interior design. All of the sushi was fresh and the portions are generous for the price! My only complaint was that the room was freezing.

Went here for lunch with my son. It’s always consistent. Great food. They changed their location so fresh and delicious. You won’t go wrong fair price

They moved across the parking lot to a larger, new, and bright space! They highly recommend reservations via OpenTable. Their quality is really great. Their sushi style is more saucy in my opinion, which is totally fine, but just know that it’s vastly different than a more traditional Japanese sushi place. Regardless, you can still tell the quality of the fish is good and the flavors they pair their dishes with are really nice. I always order a special or two and pair it with a sushi roll or hand roll. A valley staple if you ask me :)

First time to this place. They have great cuts here! Salmon was buttery and sweet. The oyster shooters were tasty too. It can get a little crowded inside, but they have outdoor seating in front with heaters. Worth trying!

Great new location. My favorite sushi spot in Tarzana. The best things are the So Yummy (garlic shrimp roll), Just Eat roll (Albacore special), and lemon salmon roll
