Rating: 4.5 (not the best restaurant I've ever been to but a unique, delicious adventure)
Located inside the Co-Op Plaza, which we walked past the first time.
Soba was our first experience with Moldovan food. We'd made reservations but the restaurant was nearly empty (6pm on a Thursday in July). HB had Moldovan Chardonnay and I ordered the Isabella wine. Our server took time to chat about Moldovan wines and the Cricova wine region, which was cool.
We were grateful for the menu photos plus our server answered our questions as we pointed to dishes, settling on what you see in the photos. We enjoyed the crawfish appetizer and flatbread so much that along with soups, split pea and borş, we knew the entrees would be delicious!
Ample servings yet somehow HB had room for dessert with a glass of Moldovan sweet wine!
We enjoyed looking around at the Moldovan decor - wall hangings, shelves with decorations, lights - only downside on this unseasonably hot summer day was no A/C.
