I was completely blown away with what this place has to offer. Easily one of the better sit down pizza places Dallas has to offer. While their pizzas arent crispy, they make up for it with the quality of their bread. With that said, this place isnt perfect.
The bread and crust were delightfully soft. I don't mean soggy, powdery, cracker like, nor greasy. I mean actually pillowy soft while having the right amount of chew to satisfy my teeth. Every pizza had impeccable texture and I applaud this place for honing in on this foundational aspect. I honestly was not expecting much, but the bread alone shows me that the staff knows how to use their equipment properly.
Four Cheese is actually pretty damn good if you want just straight cheese. Not much else to say about it really.
Meaty Meat is a solid choice for anyone wanting a meat lovers pizza. I will say out of all the pizzas I tried, this one suffered the most from eating right away. I don't know if this is a problem with all their pizzas fresh out of the oven, but the toppings were sliding around if I lifted a slice. Either way, still a good red sauce, cheese, and meat combo.
Custom Pizzas can get real expensive real quick. I spent about 25 dollars with all the toppings that I wanted (with two of them probably not costing the business much of anything). Bacon, sausage, goat feta, garlic, and basil on pesto sauce base. I believe ist 2 dollars per topping outside of cheese and sauce, so be careful before decided to add everything but the kitchen sink.
Margherita was OK but it was my least favorite as the cheese and basil didn't stand out as much as I would have liked. They use big hunks of sliced tomatoes on these. I was actually ok with this, but I know my partner hates large chunks of tomato.
Smores Pizza is way smaller than a normal pizza, but this is actually a good thing! It reminds me of the chocolate pizza at Cici's, but much more advanced. The toasted marshmallows are the best part. The chocolate syrup does make this a little sweeter than I lik. I like that there are chocolate chips. The pizza dough, while I did enjoy it, could have been crispier for this one.
The side salad is nothing special, but I will say that this isnt your gross, warm, pizza joint salad that you end up throwing away. This actually has some merit (and its $3 dollars).
They have an OK selection of craft beer, but most of it will be staples around DFW that you've probably already have had. I do like that they offer flights though.
