The London Pizza Delivery Guide

"We’ve said before that the sourdough pizza from Sodo is consistently up there with the best in London. And now that we’ve made our own “pizza” at home. We mean it more than ever. Thankfully they’re alternating open days between their Walthamstow and Clapton branches. Order here or check their Instagram for opening and collection details." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak

Their pizzas are amazing. One of the best pizza places in my opinion. The waiter is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended

We came here tonight and had exceptional service from Noor! She was so kind, helpful, positive and gave great advice on what to order. We loved our pizza (great flavours) and brownie (super fudgy) - but most of all we loved Noor! A true queen 👑

Was a walk in for a take-away, was a bit worried at first because it looks like a nice restaurant, but there’s a little waiting area that’s away from the diners. I ordered the Wicker Man. It came super fast and when I got home it was delicious. My fave pizza so far in Walthamstow (possibly London). It didn’t come sliced fyi and as it’s quite thin and has lots of toppings I ended up using a knife and fork. I’ll definitely be ordering the same again when I have pizza cravings.

Excellent pizza, cool, buzzy vibe (but can be a bit noisy due to the bare wall acoustics). Simple menu focused on pizza but everything done really well. Cheesy garlic bread and top-notch olives a great way to start. Highly recommended.

Came here with high expectations for the pizza hype. The pizza's arrived fresh & hot, 1 of which was fine but unfortunately the 2nd 1 was burnt on many areas. The cheesy garlic bread lacked flavour. The waitress Ciara was very friendly to begin with but towards the end seemed rude, that really put us off. Overall pizza's were overpriced Would not go back !

Really nice front of house (young lady) who was chatty and pleasant. Great pizza and good beer (Crafty).

The pizza here is consistently excellent. Having visited before, I can attest that they never fail to impress. The menu offers a variety of gourmet pizzas, including vegetarian options. Although the selection is relatively small, I often find myself torn between choices due to the diverse array of high-quality ingredients. Occasionally, they feature a special of the day, although it’s not available every day. On the dessert front, the tiramisu is good, though not as standout as the pizza, and it’s on the smaller side. While I didn’t try the coffee, I notice the young server craft a cappuccino for a colleague, and it looked quite nice. The restaurant is quite small, which adds to its charm, but may be challenging to find seating, especially during weekends. I went twice after lunch hour, and was never busy.

Google
First time trying this place out and the food is really exceptional no wonder they have quite a lot of branches in London now. The only let down is the service, the servers seem disinterested and not paying attention to the guests there was no check back to any table. Also during the meal one of the servers decide to sit down and take a payment at the table! Which was quite strange. Overall food is exceptional just service lets it down

Yelp
Best Pizza in London. Try the Wicker Man. You won't be sorry. Staff is incredibly attentive and the restaurant has a fun yet stylish vibe (love all the plants). Amazing natural wine and local beer list. Finally, and this will be tough: leave room for dessert. The brownie and ice cream with salted caramel is the best I've ever had. Amazing tiramisu as well.

Yelp
The pizza there really doesn't compare to any of the other local pizza branches surrounding this place, it feels very healthy and filling! The ambience the place gives off is great but the actual restaurant is very hidden and may be a bit difficult to find initially. In the two times I've been I have never encountered any unpleasant customer service so it's definitely a good place to check out.

Yelp
Sodo is such a welcomed addition to the local Walthamstow scene. I've known Walthamstow for a while and I am quite enjoying the recent developments. The building Sodo is in was previously a very sketchy Mexican bar. Thankfully, Sodo has come onto the scene. Sodo is located down a little cobblestone alley just a short walk from the tube station. I recommend booking in advance as they are quite busy, but I made my reservation on the same day and that was fine. First off, get the mozzarella appetizer. It's amazing! I have never had mozzarella that is so fresh. Ask for extra basil as the basil really makes the dish. We had two pizzas for the main a meat lover and one of the special pizzas. They were quite big, but so yummy that we managed to finish them! Wow oh wow was the pizza good. This has probably become my favorite pizza spot in London! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff. It's a very fun young bunch that work here and they were up for a bit of banter. We ended up staying here for three hours--way over our reserved time. However, they gladly accommodated us. Two bottles of wine later and two very full bellies we left Sodo very happy!

Yelp
Three stars off the bat for the great customer service which rarely happens in London. My husband and I arrived around 6:30pm today and I got the butternut squash, feta and rosemary pizza on cannelloni beans for takeaway, about a 20-minute wait. No problem we strolled around and came back. My husband then decided he wanted a pizza after all so a waiter used an outdoor sign on coffee placed earlier outside as an impromptu table, placing it on a bench and getting two chairs. Viola for ingenuity! Also major props for taking the whiskey/ginger drink off the bill as my husband couldn't stomach it. I got my pizza on beans and he got a special of tomato sauce, meat, olives, paprika etc. Mine was just... Fine. The tomato sauce was hearty but that was the only real flavour; it was pretty bland. The pizza crust was slightly burnt. My husband same the same of the flavour: just fine, nothing spectacular. Again, I am sadly reaffirmed that nothing beats a great NY pizza. How sad others have not experienced that.

Yelp
Some of the best pizza I've ever eaten, and quite possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten in London. The base is perfectly thin & crispy, and the toppings are inventive and delicious. Add to that the happy, helpful staff, good wine & beer choices, and generally happy atmosphere and this place is just a winner.

Yelp
Ok. Just ok. Pizza is good. Location and ambience are great. However, not sure why this has such long bookings in advance. It's not like the pizza is from heaven and don't eat the ice cream. They'll tell you it's homemade when it's the cheapest, crazy sweet, watered down stuff. Definitely not homemade!
