"Sofia’s in the bottom of a small apartment building in Midtown East, and the inside is full of exposed brick and chandeliers. For food, they have everything you’d expect a place with small plates to have (artichoke dip, meatball sliders, burrata, etc.) and they’ll make you a pizza with your choice of vegetables and/or cured meats. Vibes here might be too romantic for a casual hang, but you can always bring a date. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

So cute! A couple of my friends took me here and loved it. The staff was so nice and you could tell they really cared about your experience. Ordered a salad and pizza and both extremely well made. The food felt fresh and perfectly seasoned. Will absolutely come back!

Google
Cozy, vintage wine bar. Hot toddy was good as well as Mike's hot honey white pizza although it was neither hot nor could I taste the honey. Went back and had a bottle of their sangiovese red wine that was easy and smooth to drink and one of the less pricier wines. The nonna burrata pizza was so good! Chewy but crispy crust that's perfect thickness. The chocolate lava cake and tiramisu was also very good. Same cozy and casual vibes!

What a find!!! An intimate, upscale restaurant located on 50th Street near 2nd Ave. Menu prices are reasonable and it’s a great location to bring a date. Very, very romantic atmosphere!! On street parking is located in front of the restaurant. Place is AMAZING! Fabulous food, a welcoming staff that is super knowledgeable, friendly and speak Italian too! Federico (Freddy) and Kristen are amazing hosts. Make you feel like family as soon as you step foot inside this place. They offer suggestions on the food and wine that are spot on!!! Restaurant is SUPER clean with a cozy feel. They even have a small outdoor garden in the back. Also have a private party room as well. Try the pizza- to die for. Also the vast wine list is amazing too. This place has it all and does NOT miss a thing. This place is seriously worth the money and worth the trip.

The food and wine is absolutely delicious! My fiancé and I had several date nights here and loved it soo much that we had our small intimate wedding dinner here!! The owner Thomas was absolutely incredible during the preparation! Owners and staff that helped were extremely accommodating and friendly towards our family! Definitely coming back for more date nights!! Highly recommend this Wine Bar Restaurant!

The food and service are incredible. Eva and Armando take care of us, our baby, and our dog and it's basically our second home at this point. Cannot recommend enough.

Google
Great service, first of all. The burrata pizza was delicious. They also accommodated our request to change the hot honey pizza to a red sauce vs. white base. Interiors are lovely. Waiter gave us extra wine. The wine selection with pear and apricot undertones was topnotch!

I recently visited the Sofia Wine Bar, and it was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was enchanting, beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a warm and festive vibe that made the experience even more special. We kicked off our meal with the stuffed mushrooms and meatballs as appetizers. Both were bursting with flavor and set the perfect tone for the evening. For the main course, I enjoyed the La Nonna Pan Pizza and the Paccheri Lisci Bolognese. The pizza was perfectly cooked, with a crispy crust and delicious toppings, while the Bolognese sauce in the paccheri was rich and satisfying—definitely a highlight! I couldn't resist trying the Bianca pizza, which was a lovely nod to my name. It was as delightful as it sounds, with a perfect blend of flavors that left me wanting more. To finish off the meal, we indulged in the homemade tiramisu for dessert. It was heavenly—light, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending to our feast! Tommy, the owner, was incredibly nice and professional, guiding us through the menu with great recommendations. His passion for the food and atmosphere really shone through. Overall, I highly recommend the Sofia Wine Bar for anyone looking for a cozy spot with fantastic food and a welcoming atmosphere. It was a truly lovely experience!

Google
Great little neighborhood spot! In an area with very few good options make sure to bookmark this gem! It’s cozy, lively, and relaxed. The ambience is warm and inviting. Our waitress was a little slow but it was Friday night and she gave us great recommendations so that more then made up for it. We had the Sangiovese blend on her recommendation after we told her we didn’t love the taste of the super Tuscan she gave us. It was exactly what we wanted. Then we split the truffle burrata and bolognese burrata pizzas, also her recommendation because we wanted a white and a red. Wow am I glad we followed her lead. Everything was fantastic. They even brought me additional mikes hot honey when I requested it. Overall a great experience and it will become a go to if I’m in that neighborhood.

Yelp
I've been to this place a few times and always have a fantastic experience! The vibe is SO cute and cozy - perfect for a date night or friend catch up. The decor is really nice and the vibe is very positive. Everyone there is really friendly. Their wine list is awesome and they have great by the glass options - I don't know anywhere else in NYC where you could find Barolo and Brunello by the glass for under $20. The pours are also quite generous! I've only had their apps in terms of food, but always solid. I've heard their pizza is the thing to try.

Yelp
-The food was fantastic (pizzas and cheeses especially). -Decent list of wines. -The vibe is cozy as you feel like you are in a grandmas kitchen. -Lighting was dark. -The music was a bit off as it didn't match the vibe. At one point they were playing System of a Down. -They give you freshly washed hand towels. -The service was great and waiters were very pleasant. -I would recommend for a date spot because the food variety, location, and coziness of the ambiance. It is an easy atmosphere to build a connection with someone.

Yelp
Nice little cozy wine bar in Midtown East - the wine is plentiful and the food is good! Servers are also really nice and the ambiance is candle-lit. A bit small inside so you will be pretty close to other customers. The food here is good - the Mike's Hot Honey Pizza ($24) is a stand-out and the Spinach Dip ($19) is pretty good too! Overall, great wine bar :)

Yelp
I walked into Sofia Wine Bar pretty randomly when looking for a spot to get a glass of wine on Google Maps. And it was perfect! The wine bar is cozy and was decorated for the holidays in such a fun way!! The wine menu is pretty extensive and well priced (with generous pours), and while I didn't eat, the food (specifically the burrata pizza) looked and smelled great. If you're in the neighborhood you should definitely stop by -- I know I'll be back!

Yelp
We stumbled on this place as we were walking to a dinner reservation elsewhere. The exterior of this small establishment was cute and comfortable so we made a quick change of plans and stepped inside to a cozy, homey and welcoming room with about 8-10 tables, a great bar, exposed brick walls, low lighting and walls adorned with the decor you might expect to find in a friend's home. There's also a nice back room with a few tables. We ordered a New Yorker Pizza, plus a sourdough bread course. The pizza was excellent! The crust was light and fluffy, with good crunch and it didn't flop down at the point. It wasn't oversauced or over cheesed - it was really spot on. One of the better pizza's I've had in New York. The sourdough bread was also excellent. Service was great - quick and attentive, very friendly and good natured. One of the staff even engaged in a little chair dance with my 10-year-old! The wine menu by the glass was extensive and very good - I had a Barolo and my wife had a Brunello, both good choices that had been aerated but not sitting open for a long while. I can't recommend this place enough. When we are back in the city later this year, this we will absolutely go out of our way to return for another meal. I'd give it six stars if I could :) Thank you so much

Yelp
Love Sofia! I think this wine bar is very elegant. It's a cozy and intimate setting, with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. They have a nice, diverse selection of wines from around the world. Sofia serves some incredible Italian cuisine. The pizza is delicious! I highly recommend Mike's Hot Honey White Pizza. It's a fantastic combination of sweet, salty, and savory. 5 stars.

Marla F.

Yelp
Got our pick-up order through Slice and thought they might have some nice pizza. My god. Was I wrong. The "crust" texture was of an automobile tire. Just like rubber! Got the Mike's Hot Honey White and the La Nonna. Was it undercooked maybe? I don't understand but it wasn't even chewable. Their pizzas are abominable - big nerve, especially serving rubber in New York. They also market their rectangle pizzas under Round Pizzas on their website. We got the La Nonna Pan Pizza (pizza pans can obviously be round, square and rectangle) and the one they gave us was rectangle and so lackluster. Rubbery and the wrong shape because website says it's Round? Lol Place is like the Wild Wild West when you go in too. Very odd business. I RARELY (if ever) leave negative reviews for local businesses but really needed to spread the word about this one

Karen M.

Yelp
The atmosphere was great. It's a small place but perfect for a date. The food was delicious and the wine was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Stopped by pre-dinner for a drink on Saturday. Good vibe, decent Italian wine list but the bartender did not speak one single word to us. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes listening to the bartender & some young women discuss why there is never a reason to go to the West Village. Finallly, a waitress comes and takes our order after which, the bartender sets them down in front of us, once again without a single word or eye contact. Realizing that he is so disinterested in our business, we asked for the check. He drops it on the bar, no eye contact and again not a word. Seemed like it could be a great spot but certainly not in a hurry to back.

Yelp
The coziest little wine bar just off the avenue. We sat at the bar, which had about 7 or 8 stools. There were just as many tables so come early and don't mind the people next to you. The bartenders were extremely friendly and professional. My wife and I split the margarita pizza and beggars purses. Both were amazing. I would definitely recommend the beggars purses with truffle sauce to anyone who will listen, just amazing. Will definitely be back to try more items, so glad we found this place.

Kushtrim I.

Yelp
We went together with my wife and another couple. Had a blast , the food was great but most importantly our server Ilir was the highlight of our evening, what a guy . Also the bar has a great vibe .

Hannah T.

Yelp
Sofia is one of our favorite wine bars in Midtown! This was my second time, my first being a late night glass of wine at the bar and this time being a double date for dinner. We each got two glasses of wine throughout the evening (can't say no to a second glass here!) and I particularly enjoyed their $14 "wine specials of the month". I appreciated that for the sparking wine of the month, they included a note in the menu to "ask for a test" because it turned out to be very unique (and I really enjoyed it!) Both couples got one of their pizzas and it was the perfect size to split. The service was perfectly timed and we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommend Sofia for a cute, cozy spot to grab a drink and bite on any occasion!

Yelp
I'm officially in love with this place. I went here on a date once so I can't fully take the credit of finding it but now I'm a regular here. They get it right every time be with any dish you order of their menu. Love their great wine selection. Few of my favorites here are Margarita pizza, truffle burrata pizza, cheese platter, stuffed mushrooms, eggplant Parmigiana and beggars purse. Never have I been disappointed here by what they serve. Let's take a moment to appreciate the cute interiors; it gives such warm, cosy and personalized vibes. Like you are sitting at a friend's in an intimate setting. I declare this as one of the best Italian options in midtown east.

Joseph T.

Yelp
Great wine selection. A small selection but robust, and the prices were terrific. I found myself in NYC for work. I stayed in Midtown for 4 nights, and visited Sofia Wine Bar twice during my visit. The first night was really low key and quiet, had some good wine, was able to strike up conversation with others... it was great. The second night, it was insanely busy. Lots of folks popping in after work for a happy hour and to eat the pizza. I did not eat any of the pizza, but everyone around me seemed happy and appeared to be faring sumptuously. But the thing that I like most about Sofia? The ambiance! It is so lovely in there! Great decorations. Really cozy spot. And it is far enough off of 5th Avenue to where you don't really get any tourists in this area. Love it. I'll definitely be back.

Robert H.

Yelp
Nice find on an otherwise quiet street at Midtown East. Inside a little small and dark for my taste so we sat outside in the sidewalk shed which isn't too exposed to traffic. The weather was steamy but they have rotating fans (and heaters for winter). Yes it's a wine bar and I'm sure they have a good list but I wasn't feeling it on this day so I went with a Pacifico beer. It came nice and cold in a chilled glass and went down so smooth. Pizza seemed to be the food of choice here so two of us shared a Margherita and it was delicious. The bill for two drinks and a pizza came to $60 including tax and tip. Not bad for midtown.

Paige B.

Yelp
Such an incredible spot with next to nothing hospitality!!!! Our servers name was Ilir, and he was very attentive, personable, and kind. We were very grateful to happen across this incredible restaurant.

Nur E.

Yelp
Cute spot for a glass of vino. Menu includes a variety of pizza and few pasta dishes. Ordered the stuffed mushroom to share and the beggars purses as the main. Mushroom appetizer was okay - nothing special. The pasta dish was good but very small for $30. Service was up to par - giving 3 stars because of the portion size to price ratio.

Jason M.

Yelp
A nice place to have a cocktail or glass of wine and cheese after work. They have a limited wine menu mixed between Italian and California wines. No noticeably well known wines. Their outdoor atmosphere is great with heat lamps, music and people watching galore. The heat lamps can be a bit overwhelming but can easily be turned off. If you are looking to keep any diet and get food you are at the wrong place. Their pizzas are the majority of the food items. I have to say this place has some pretty good whiskeys for a decent price. Overall service was fine but a bit slow due to only one person taking care of 7 tables. This place is a wine bar plain and simple and nothing special.

Yelp
Sofia's has become the most reliable place to enjoy a nice dinner in the Murray Hill / Turtle Bay area. It's never too crowded when I go on the weekends, and the atmosphere is very relaxing with dim lighting and music that's not loud enough to drown out conversation. The food is excellent, particularly the burrata bolognese pizza, which perfects every element right down to the crust. There's a hot honey drizzled onto it that gives it a particularly sweet and savory flavor that's mellowed out by the burrata cheese dollop on each slice. And above all else, the kind service we receive from the host and waitress, Ava, is beyond words. She remembers my family whenever we arrive and greets us cordially. And I see she has that personal relationship with many other customers. If there's ever a modification you've made to a dish, you can bet that Ava will remember it for next time. Do yourself a favor and try Sofia's if you haven't. For gourmet pizza in New York, it's worth every penny.

Yelp
What attracted me to Sofia wine bar is the initial decor. The restaurant is cozy with limited seating with small bars in the front. They do not take reservations and is a first come first serve type of dine in. We initially ordered margaritas pizza, prosciutto San Danielle and Mellon , lasagna and a bottle of wine to share for a party of 3. The pizza size is a bit small so we ordered an extra bolognese burrata pizza which to my surprise was really good. The cheese was fresh, the sauces was good paired with Mikes honey which made it delicious.

Jonathan T.

Yelp
Good wine and great atmosphere. My go to spot for wine in Midtown East! It does get very crowded.

Christina O.

Yelp
Loved the experience I had here. It is the perfect location for a date, with its mood lighting and strong drinks. I recommend the espresso martini!

Greg R.

Yelp
As a black man in America my life is hard enough. So after a long day when I come in for wine.. I want it served with a soft brie vs an attitude from the sassy wait staff.

Tony E.

Yelp
It was ok Not a big fan of Mikes hot honey on my pizza. Service was good and a little pricey

Benno L.

Yelp
Sofia is fantastic. I'm from out of town- was staying in a midtown hotel. Sofia just happened to be a block away- just walked by. What a find! I've been to Italy, Spain, Mexico, Germany etc etc etc. I know what a good restaurant is. It's the food, but also the vibe, the ambience, how it feels to be there. Sofia FELT so good my wife and I went 3 times in our 5 nights in NYC. Once with our two teenage kids and our cousin- a family dinner with delicious pizzas, salads, and cheese/meat platter. The natural bubbly wine was so good we kept having it. Well priced. The staff? Wonderful. Friendly, cheerful, non-intrusive. Helpful when asked, but no pressure, no rushing your dinner. Wonderful dark ambience with twinkle lights, chandeliers, greenery. And don't sleep on the tiny hidden garden patio downstairs in basement. Honestly, in the big hustle bustle of Manhattan, Sofia was a spot that just felt comfortable, relaxed, and like a lovely getaway. The staff greeted us each return with warm welcome and were thrilled we came back. Once they even sat and served us after they'd done last call, simply because they are that cool. I have to say, this was my favorite little spot in Manhattan on this trip.

Brooke H.

Yelp
Almost walked right by this tiny place! The outside decor and street seating drew us in and I'm so glad it did. I first stopped in for wine late afternoon, but later was recommended to go back for dinner. We waited about 20 minutes for a table, but sat at the bar while we did. I ordered the blonde ale this go around and it was ok - a little strong for my taste. It's a tight squeeze in there, very comfy and quaint environment. I ordered the Eggplant Parmisiana and wow!! It was amazing. I ate the entire thing. The eggplant was cooked perfect and the cheese was so fluffy and light with the perfect amount. Probably one of my favorite things I ate on my nyc trip. Everyone at our table finished all of their pasta dishes. The pizza did look absolutely delicious as well. Our bill was what I expected. Not overpriced. My dish was $18. There's no complimentary bread and we did not try the apps, but my experience with food and service was great!!

Monica O.

Yelp
Great food, great staff and a beautiful charming ambience. We stopped in for a late dinner and ordered the olives, cheese and meat plate, burglar's purse (amazing), and some red wine. The food was delicious and our server was very nice and accommodating. The interior was very nicely decorated and the outdoor dining was really cute (it was just way too cold to be out there). Thank you for a lovely evening!

Shelly H.

Yelp
Cute, intimate ambiance. Great service. Fantastic food. We needed a spot for family dinner after day of site seeing. We were able to get a table right away and enjoyed our experience from the start. The truffle burrata pizza was delightful and the coconut sorbet was the perfect ending to our meal.

Madeline A.

Yelp
This adorable Italian wine bar was perfect for a Saturday evening dinner! Such a great find! We called to make a reservation since the link on their website wasn't working. They have outdoor seating with heat lamps in front of the restaurant as well as seating in their outdoor garden. We opted to sit inside where tables were divided with glass barriers. Inside seating was small but they did have a downstairs and back room area that were not being used so plenty of space! The wine selection for wine by the glass was great and reasonably priced. We ordered the margarita pizza and the beggars purse pasta dish; both were phenomenal! The pasta came in a very light Alfredo sauce that didn't leave you feeling overly stuffed. Pizza was thin crust and perfect for sharing between two people; about 6 small slices total. The service was great and didn't mind that we lingered after we finished. Great find! I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Jeff H.

Yelp
This is a must go to in mid town. Good food and drinks with an extensive wine list. Either sit at the bar or do table service. Cozy neighborhood atmosphere.

T. G.

Yelp
Loved this spot! The hype is real- although very loud inside the vibes were so cozy and romantic. We luckily were able to grab a 2 top in the back room with no wait on a Wednesday at 7pm. Our server seemed to be handling the entire restaurant and couldn't have been nicer! We started off with glasses of wine and put in a Margherita pizza - yum! We also tried the Garganelli All'uovo Vodka- delicious. Serving size was a bit small but fun to share. I'd absolutely return and try one of the cheese/meat platters next time as well- those looked so good!

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Came for a date and was greeted with a warm intimate environment. Ambiance is small and cozy . Got drinks of the menu and they were okay. After all this is a wine bar so not sure why we ordered cocktails . Lol I asked for an old fashioned and they garnished it with a Grapefruit slice so just be aware of that . Seems like a local spot, Where people seem to go mostly on dates . Tables are kind of close so you might hear everyone's conversation. They have more seating in the back as well which I wish I knew about . The cheeses on the meat and cheese platter were ok but I really loved the meats on the platter and would recommend .

Allana E.

Yelp
Super intimate and nice! Perfect for a date night, whether it's a first date or the latest of many. My boyfriend and I went here mid week. Food was fantastic (we got a bottle of cab, beggars purses, mike's hot honey pizza, as and the lava cake). The service was a bit slow but it was a busy night. We can't wait to go back!

Kitty W.

Yelp
My friends and I stumbled upon this place our first night in New York and it was honestly a highlight of the trip! The food was very solid and the waitstaff were on top of everything. I asked for a recommendation of red wine to pair with my food and they suggested the one that I was contemplating from Italy and it was very solid! The pizza was very good, as all New York pizza is, but particularly memorable as a nicer sit down pizza spot than say joes or bleecker street ! The only thing I wish they would have done is to go over the cheeses and meats with us, because it ended up being a guessing game for my friends and I. Also, the meats and cheeses weren't anything special, just the typical items you can find in your local grocery market so I don't know if it was worth it since I typically look for something more interesting if I order at the restaurant. Overall, was very solid and would come here again.

Luis B.

Yelp
good selection of food, pesto pasta was warm and tasteful. Margherita pizza was well cooked and flavourful. Tiramisu to finish it off was perfect.

Marc H.

Yelp
What a lovely place in Midtown East. I did not expect this gem of a family restaurant. Attentive service, excellent wine choices, food that takes you back into someone's home. Will definitely come back for more. I can recommend everything I had from charcuterie platter, to mushrooms and pastas but I will skip the tuna tartare. Too chunky for me and I'm not a raw tomato lover. Busy and no reservations taken but I'm amazed how they fit everyone in I visited on a Saturday evening.

Raven H.

Yelp
The ambiance is the best thing about this place. Nice and cozy. The service is impeccable and timely. The Food was awesome, can't wait to visit again. You must like quiet and cozy. And you should definitely enjoy talking to the person your with.

Terrell M.

Yelp
Excellent! Went here with whole family and had great time listening to live music. Enjoyed the amazing food and wine. Would definitely recommend

Leyla A.

Yelp
Cute ambiance and a cozy little wine bar! This place has a really good wine variety, delicious food and a beautiful interior. I've been coming here a lot and staff always delivers the best service!

Linda P.

Yelp
Terrible service, I don't know how to start, I used to come to this place before but not anymore. I was hungry after a wonderful massage and decided to come back I finally had a day off to spend with my mom. I also work in the restaurant industry I walked in and sat down and waited at least 10 minutes to be offered a drink or be greeted possibly because I'm a Hispanic woman. The server took my drink order and said I like when people know that they want lol okay sure. I ordered a cheese and charcuterie. I ate it and he never came back to check on me, by the way I wanted some more bread. For a platter so big only got 4 small slices for two people. No big deal. Had to flag my waiter to get my entrées because he was busy drinking at the bar talking non stop to colleagues and people at the bar. So finally he came over and took my order the same plates and utensils that was used for my app was used for my entree. No check back he was still drinking and talking. I wanted another Amarone which was delicious and I had to flag him again. I really wanted to order Tiramisu for my mom. This was my Christmas dinner since I won't be home for Christmas. Then I got so frustrated and more than that embarrassed. The food was delicious ordered eggplant parmigiana and paccheri bolognese. All the food was delicious and the wine outstanding but the service is bad. I feel bad for the chef his food is being served for mediocre servers. This is not the end, I asked for the check and the server took my card and 20 minutes later he says his system is down, wth but ok I had other stuff to do like Christmas shopping. I could have went out to the atm and gotten some cash and that's it. The problem here is the server disappeared with my card. Then I told the bald server hey what's going on I have to and I told him this has been the worst Service of my life seriously. I told him his colleague was terrible never came back to check on us he said I don't believe this he's a great worker. I was so frustrated and he told me to go back to my table and grabbed my arm. I asked him to politely don't touch me. And he took the check away from me. This has been a nightmare that this has escalated to this. I told him I want to pay for the bill because that's not the point. Shame on you Sofia wine bar. There are many incredible Italian restaurants to deal with this kind of madness never again. .

Kali P.

Yelp
I love everything about this place. It's a great date spot, lovely for a girls night and the food and staff never disappoint. I always have the best time here and I always leave extremely satisfied. Short and sweet but would highly recommend!

Alice R.

Yelp
A friend and I went to grab a drink here on a nothing special Wednesday. We both have eaten our respective share of stink and needed each other to cheer each other up. This place is so cute that I would so come here on a date if I were to go on a date. I recommend the garden downstairs. When we went, there was a private event so we couldn't drink down there and outdoor dining was packed. The entire restaurant smells like pizza! We didn't have the pizza that night, but jeez, for someone who hasn't had an appetite the past few days, I really wanted a slice of pizza. Flashback to a few weeks ago, we got take out from this place and ordered a glass of wine, tuna tartare, and pizza. There was a mix up with the delivery and we only got the tartare. After several calls later, the restaurant was very accommodating and hand delivered the missing items and upgraded the glass of wine to a bottle. It was very sweet of them and I really appreciated the customer service. Seems this place is overall very busy and people are popping in and out all the time. I would recommend making a reservation if you want a specific spot. This is a place I plan on going again and suggest to anyone to go on a date. I just wish I lived around the area again. Such a shame I am discovering these hidden gems after I moved.

Amy W.

Yelp
Wish we'd found this place sooner! We were looking for a place to wind down our evening with some wine and snacks and came across Sofia on yelp. As soon as we saw the lights outside we hoped it was the right location, because we could tell right away it was the happy spot to be. From friendly, fun hosts and staff to good food and wine, it was a great pick. We sat outside in the covered tent area and really enjoyed the evening. The wine was nice (good selection) and the charcuterie we had was good. I especially enjoyed the Margherita pizza. That sauce was super and the crust was crispy perfection. I really wanted to eat the whole thing but didn't want to scare my colleagues! Inside seemed to have a great fun vibe--lots of people laughing and enjoying themselves.

Annette C.

Yelp
This truffle burrata pizza is out of this world! This is such a cute wine bar. Not only was the wine great but food was so delicious. The meatballs were amazing as well. I will be back asap!

Aj A.

Yelp
Amazing!! If you are looking for a comfy wine night out this is your spot! It's small and what I consider intimate inside with low dimmer lighting "my fav". A wonderfully mixed crowd with a thirst for wine. Let's not forget the delicious paired food menu. I had the lasagna with meat and it was delicious to say the least. The pan with cheese made me weak!! Overall a definite must and go between 5-8pm to get your night started right. Another plus they have closed in outdoor seating! Cheers

Yelp
This review is long overdue!! My friend and I came here a month ago just to catch up and enjoy some food and wine, and it was such a pleasant surprise! I think the restaurants in Midtown East can often give off the same vibes of just getting brunch. This place is tucked in right off of 2nd Ave but has a completely different atmosphere. It was definitely a mix of classy and homey but the place filled up quickly even though it was a Thursday afternoon! The server was great in suggesting a wine that we both enjoyed. Star of the show was definitely the burrata pizza! The prosciutto with melon was good but I probably would just stick to the meat and cheese platter next time. Looking forward to coming again to this great neighborhood place!

Yelp
It's a perfect midtown neighborhood wine bar for quick bites with their refreshing choice of wines & delicious. Casual ambiance. Great staff . Excellent service. On a rainy night, my out of state girl friend & I had a fun time catching up. I surely will be back & highly recommend!

Yelp
This place is magical. From the moment you walk in, you forget you're in Midtown. The place is small, intimate and super charming; perfect for date night. My friend and I were warmly greeted by the bartender and hostess who let us sit where we wanted. It was 11pm on a Saturday and mostly full inside. We grabbed a small table and asked the bartender (who doubled as our waiter) what he recommended. We went with a Pinot, a Cabernet and the Sofia Meat and Cheese platter. The wines were excellent and the platter exceeded our expectations. The Brie and Gorgonzola were so creamy and the toasted bread that accompanied it was perfect. They even brought out a complimentary tiramisu afterward and it was amazing! This place is special and definitely worth visiting!

Yelp
Great atmosphere--sparkly lights decorate their window and Sofia has a nice set-up for outdoor seating. Nice spot for drinks, but I would recommend skipping the food. We were a group of four, so we called ahead to place a reservation. The first time we called our reservation wasn't recorded correctly because it was so loud inside that the staffer couldn't hear me. Luckily, we called a second time a week later, and they entered in our reservation. Our group shared the $30 meat and cheese platter and a $19 Margherita pizza. The pizza was okay, nothing mind blowing. The meat and cheese platter was a little disappointing because the slices of cheese were quite small and the meats were cut super thin. Drinks were good. A glass of wine starts around $12 and cocktails are around $15+.
