Sofitel London St James

My wife and I will never stay anywhere else. The hotel is beautiful, the staff very attentive, all amenities you need in a great location. Kimberly made our stay extra special remembering that we got engaged at the Shard a couple of years ago and had a chocolate Shard dessert sent to our room as a wonderful surprise one night. Thanks so much, we will surely be staying again during our next trip back to London.

Great location. Great room design. I really enjoyed the motif and aesthetics of the room. It was very cool to experience central London from this hotel. The bed was so comfortable I could hardly bring myself to get out of it. Luckily, the 3 minute walk to the Soho area made everything so much easier.

A great hotel located close to the west end and Knightsbridge. Both of our roons were in great condition and were very clean. ||The front desk and concierge provided a warm welcome and excellent help and information about the local area. We also enjoyed the pre-theatre meal at wild honey which was excellent quality and value. ||We’ve just spent six weeks travelling through Europe and this hotel is a better standard and better managed than most of the other Sofitels we stayed at. We have previously stayed at this hotel and will return again.

We had a 3 night stay at the Sofitel in London and it was great! The hotel was ideally located down the street from the Piccadilly Circus tube stop, and walking distance from tourist attractions like Big Ben, Westminster abbey, Buckingham palace and St James Park. The service was excellent. Staff attentive and helpful. The room was gorgeous. The only negative point was we were supposed to get early check in but ended up being at 3pm anyway- but this was not really enough to put a damper on anything because we took the chance to walk around while they held our bags. I would recommend the Sofitel and would stay there again myself!

Excellent hotel, great location. Very good service and welcome. Very good Concierge. Great bar. Rooms are excellent and to the high standard one would expect. Excellent staff and very helpful and friendly front of house team.

All good except the restaurant. I have ordered a beef steak cooked medium rate and ı did not get the quality for the price ı have paid. It was one steak that was difficult to slice and chew as it was not tender at all. Quite a dissatisfaction and when ı gave this feedback, the guy in charge of the restaurant did absolutely nothing with the feedback and ignored my feedback. However other than this bad experience at the hotels restaurant for dining, the hotel was great, great rooms and accommodation, great staff at check in and check out. I would definitely stay there but without using the restaurant

Wonderful place , good staff . Nice and very attentive in detail,observant . We feel like we live at home The decoration is in a modern classic style, clean and fresh with a unique scent. The location is in the city center but not too noisy. Come back again for sure

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend trip in January and had a great time. The room was large, clean and well-equipped. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helped make our stay into a great one. I would highly recommend this hotel for someone looking for a hotel near Picadilly Circus.
