The Best Soft Serve In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"Soft Swerve has been making ube ice cream since 2016, and they now have six locations serving the aforementioned ube, as well as black sesame, vanilla, and hojicha. This place has a bunch of different toppings like mochi and Fruity Pebbles, and their LES location is a great spot for a cone after a dumpling crawl in Chinatown." - willa moore, hannah albertine, arden shore, molly fitzpatrick

Thick soft serve. I had higher expectations of the chocolate eclair sundae than what I got. I felt like it was lacking flavor/sweetness/chocolate. There was just something missing. I was pretty underwhelmed. However, my aunt thought it was delicious. Lots of unique flavors and regular ice cream (other than soft serve) is available.

This place is 100% delicious. They have a rotating selection of Asian twist ice-cream and sorbet flavors. There may be a line, but it moves quickly and absolutely worth the wait. Additionally consider taking a pint to go to share with family and friends. I highly recommend Ube and Thai Tea flavors

Ube sticky butter cake and strawberry lychee scoops. A little expensive for two scoops (I think it was close to $12), but very good. I liked the ube sticky butter cake a lot, and the inclusions were super tasty. Only real regret is not getting it as the base because it seemed to be a lot more solid than the strawberry lychee, so maybe giving it the extra time to soften would have made eating it a bit easier. I kind of kicked myself for not going with the namesake soft serve, but the hand scoops just looked too good to pass up. Overall, good ice cream, nice and unique flavor selection, worth trying.

these guys cell giant scoops of ice cream like nobody's business. it's definitely been done first by the Brooklyn Chinatown factory but their flavors are on point. here's a summary of the flavors for records - hk milk tea, ube are top - thai tea is also great - viet cofee is too strong and almond coffee is reg - matcha tastes like american matcha latte foresty

I seemed to catch the business on an off day today. I asked if the soft serve flavors could be swirled and the employee didn’t know what that meant. I ordered one of the advertised sundaes on the board and he seemed to not know how to make it and then also tried to overcharge me for it. Also seems like a sad little portion for $8.50 compared to the other pictures I’m seeing but it does taste good.

Very good soft serve ice cream. I got a special Sunday, that included mochi, toasted coconut, and ube soft serve. I loved the textural combo and the ube had a gentle flavor. If you want something stronger, go for the ube sticky butter icecream. The soft serve Sunday was a good portion size, I would say that it’s “just” shareable. What I mean by that is if you have a small craving for sweets, but don’t want to commit to a big cup, this is good for two people. It’s more than enough for one person. The cup shown here was 9.25 (tax included). Staff were really nice too, I’d come back again if I’m craving sweets in the area.

I got the Thai Tea ice cream. It was DELICIOUS and tasted like the real thing. They have many other unique flavors so I’m excited to come back and try those too

Save room for dessert when visiting the DeKalb Market for Soft Swerve! 🍦 This ice cream stall boasts a great selection of ice cream flavors with Asian flair such as black sesame, matcha, almond cookie, ube, lychee, Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee. There is a selection of soft serve flavors including black sesame - which is what we got. We tried both the black sesame and ube; both were excellent and not too sweet but the black sesame is 👌🏼 Stop by Soft Swerve for a sweet treat, highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
