Sundae Service Creamery - Review - New York - The Infatuation

"To get ice cream flavors like ginger black sesame, pandan coconut, or jasmine tea with roasted rice clusters without leaving your favorite spot on the couch, check out Sundae Service Creamery. This dessert shop delivers pints of homemade ice cream every Sunday to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Plus, depending on where you live and how many pints you order, they’ll even deliver for free. All the details on their delivery range, promising-looking flavors, and payment options are available on Sundae Service Creamery’s website. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

I had the strawberry lychee scoop ice cream. It was really refreshing and you can taste both fruits flavor distinctively. Highly recommend mochi bites and toffee for toppings. I also sampled the Thai iced tea flavor - pretty good as well. The service was good. They carefully put all the toppings on for the presentation. A bit pricey but good for trying Asian ice cream flavors like ube, sesame, etc. occasionally.

Stopped in for a sweet treat and was pleasantly surprised by how much we loved this place! To start, the decor is super adorable and is made to mimic the exterior of different shops. It was very kitschy and was definitely a nice touch. The restaurant itself was also clean which is a plus. Now for the ice cream itself, that was fantastic. The scoops are MASSIVE and the flavor range is great. For the price, I definitely feel like what I got was more than fair. I mean, we split 2 scoops between 2 people and had leftovers! The vegan ube was delicious and had a nice coconut flavor. The Thai tea was also super yummy and had a strong, distinct tea flavor. I'd definitely return!

Good ice cream. Lycer Strawberry, Chocolate, and Ube is great.

Excellent quality soft serve! I had vanilla in a cup and you could really taste how rich and vanilla it tasted. My husband got a swirl of ube and vanilla with crushed vanilla cookies and Oreo dusto. We both savored every bite! Friendly service and accepts credit cards and Apple Pay, etc.

Got the ube soft serve and the hojicha soft serve with mochi bits. I really liked both the flavors especially the ube..it had strong ube flavor. Service was decent enough. Want to try the thai ice tea flavor next time!

1 cup with 1 scoop vegetarian ube, 1 waffle cone with soft serve ube, 1 waffle cone with "woodside" (ube with coconut shavings and mochi) came out to ~$29!!! I wasn't expecting that. It was good. I know everything is more expensive but not like that expensive for an order of 3. I saw on the menu that the soft serve ube and single scoop vegetarian ube are supposed to be $7 each, so I'm guessing the remainder $15 came from the "woodside" and waffle cone charges. No receipts are given so I can't tell the breakdown. Otherwise friendly service. A few limited seating inside.

If you're a fan of unique and indulgent ice cream flavors, Soft Swerve in Chinatown is a must-visit. They offer a wide range of flavors that cater to adventurous taste buds. I tried the Vietnamese coffee and Hong Kong milk tea flavors, both of which were rich and flavorful. However, I found them a bit too sweet for my liking. My boyfriend opted for the Ube soft serve and was thoroughly impressed. The overall experience was very good, and the ice cream's quality stands out. Whether or not you'll enjoy it might depend on your sweetness tolerance. If you have a sweet tooth, this place will be right up your alley!
