Soho House Holloway

I enjoyed a pleasant and comfortable stay at Soho House on Holloway. The room was thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials, balanced by touches of understated luxury that made the atmosphere inviting and relaxing. From the quality of the bed, linens, in-room bar and snacks, to the overall design, every detail contributed to a sense of ease and enjoyment during my visit. Chris (overnight front desk) gave outstanding customer service, greeting me warmly during my late check-in and again at 7AM when I needed a workspace. He was attentive, helpful, and made sure I had everything to get started, making my stay comfortable and stress-free. Thank you! Ken provided excellent service in the lounge area. His approachable manner, friendly banter, expertise, and thoughtful menu recommendations were much appreciated. The vegan burrito was exceptional, even for those who do not follow a vegan diet—I ordered it on two occasions and also picked up a matcha croissant. I look forward to returning to try the burger :) Thank you Ken, Chris and Soho House Holloway!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this property, beginning with the lovely Alexis, who always goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and at home. She is hospitality embodied, and handles any request with ease and grace. Channing, Alex, and the rest of the staff are equally attentive and all of them anticipate needs before I even know I have them. Truly, top notch. I stay here often and I always look forward to returning because of the warm, friendly, and professional staff, but also, the hotel is lovely too, and location great. Thanks, Soho House and this staff, especially.

Nick ….you have a problem. The bad reviews written here are spot on - this is not a ‘Soho house’ terrible front desk, poky small dark rooms, (15 mins to get a coffee in the lobby, lift not working, fire alarm rings for 10-15 mins 6.30am, no communication from any member of staff - is the place burning down ?, Who knows as no one is communicating, if there was a fire you would have no chance, no lift, no comms) …people have been commenting here 3 years ago regarding the front desk / service, why has it not been fixed? Sadly you are tarnishing all your / the worldwide teams hard work.

The hotel is very well equipped. The rooms have literally everything you could desire and MORE. Lovely turn down service. A 10/10 mini bar + delish free coffee and cookies. A hair straightener. Body scrub. Felt like a mini retreat in my room. The hotel is marked as 4 star but I feel it is more 5 star in the room itself. That being said, I’ve been to many SoHo houses world wide as a member over the last 7 years… the house itself leaves quite a bit to be desired.

An understated and wonderful experience complete with active rooftop parties, well made drinks and the kindest and inclusive vibe from all staff who works here. We go here every couple of months as we inevitably make our way into WeHo.

We attended a Friendsgiving celebration; it featured all of the traditional elements, though it was not an elaborate feast. Nevertheless, the cuisine was exceptionally delicious.

This location is a home away from home for me when I travel from NY to LA - I always stay in the same room and have the best room service. The location is supreme. Unfortunately, Channing at the front desk is the most unaccommodating person I’ve ever met across all Soho Houses. I asked for something to be shipped (and to pay for it) upon check out (a very small jar) and with a proud attitude, she told me she would have to personally do it so she would not be doing that, and it’s “new policy” that they won’t do that for guests unless I arrive with a prepaid shipping label. That’s not possible for me to have at 7 am as I’m at the door and for $500/night the “hotel” is simply not as accommodating as other locations. Channing’s attitude really dampened what was otherwise a great stay. Please just be aware the service is not high level.

Rooftop Reno is dreamy✨ the most beautiful & cozy rooftop in LA. Mushroom asada tacos are so tasty. Ground floor is perfect for grey/rainy days and winter nights. I drive up here from the Westside whenever I'm stuck in a lot of grey weather , but I do wish there was a property like this in Venice. I miss the vegan Caesar salad.

I did not stay here, but really enjoyed my evening on the rooftop. I loved the dim red lights and style of the bottom floor of the building and then coming out of the elevator onto the vibrant rooftop. Stunning view. Multiple servers helped us tonight and they were all attentive and great. They crafted me this mojito-like cocktail which was amazing. The carnitas were incredible- they were very juicy but crispy and airy at the same time? I don't know, but it was awesome. The chicken asada tacos were good. I wish that I took photos..

Came here for brunch and then hung out on the roof afterwards. As always, I got a matcha latte and I split a full English breakfast with my friend. I really liked the portobello mushroom that it came with along with the beans (that I placed on toast). Ordered the eggs over easy and we got fries for the table as well. Our server was very friendly and the vibe of the downstairs area was very laidback and chill. The rooftop was a different story. There was a DJ and much more buzz up there. We got drinks and I ordered a flan (tbh I'd pass on this). The couches were so fun to hang out on and they provide Goop sunscreen (gotta protect your skin!). There was a small Christmas market going on at the same time .

Soho House Holloway stands out as one of the quieter and more intimate locations I've visited. Unlike other Soho Houses, it isn't crowded, which adds to its charm. The menu options are varied and different from what you might find at other locations, offering a refreshing change. The rooftop is a highlight: calm, beautiful, and spacious. It provides a serene atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing. However, considering the number of servers available, the service could be a bit more attentive. Overall, Soho House Holloway is a fantastic spot, particularly for brunch or lunch. The peaceful environment and lovely rooftop make it an ideal place to unwind.

Would be a 5 if the roof had a pool !! The new redesign is a great refresh though. Awesome summer vibes and great eateries and things to do close by (shopping, Barry's).

Love this rooftop vibe. Great food, wonderful service and just a pleasant atmosphere. Perfect place for great conversations.

I hosted a dinner here this past week and service was attentive and excellent as they fully accommodated us sitting outside of the dining room area. I ordered the Sea Bass which was a chef's special and truly outstanding. I really appreciate that they have focused attention on upgrading their menu recently which made for a wonderful dining choice for us.

they definitely did a good remodel from when it used to be a Pali House. no more pool table but still in tune with having great drinks and pretty good food. definitely a spot for a date or business meeting, or impressing in-laws. drinks are overpriced but standard in today's company and for an upscale venue like this. if you're coming to a place like you're definitely try to flex or prove something at some capacity. needless to say, I did enjoy the sunset soho margs and the cacio pepe and calamari were delicious

Reasonably priced meals at this newer, albeit smaller, Soho House location. The rooftop menu is more limited but it's a lovely spot. Cabanas but no pool. So e outdoor games like cornhole and connect four. Downstairs there's a small outdoor dining area with healthy options. We loved the hamachi crudo. The shrimp toast was alright. The persimmon salad was fine but a bit tangy. And the spanish ham croquettas were fine also.

Got invited to this restaurant who had a membership. Food was delicious. Grilled octopus was amazing. It tasted fresh especially with lemon. Calamari was crunchy and tender, so like the creamy sauce that came with it. Shrimp toast was so good too. They gave you 2 different sauces to dip it with. Staff was nice. I would definitely go back to this place. They even have a live DJ and bar area after you eat if you still want to hangout.

Nice ambience.. super dim. Grilled octopus was delicious. Butter chicken was decent, but kind of bland. Spicy margarita and soho mule was strong and good! The all gender bathroom was different, but cool. It's a social club.. no cell phones.

Came here recently with friends long story short their was a worm parasite in our oysters we didn't wanna make a scene and we left after checking out the rooftop and having lackluster experience I don't see myself coming here anytime soon.. the staff was very unattended and seem to be more interested in looking at their phones which I didn't realize were allowed on staff something needs to be done to revitalize and bring the Soho level experience to this location.

Great spot for a Sunday afternoon! The manager Viviana and all the servers (Eva, the beautiful kind lady that helped me) are so welcoming and warm! The Make you feel like at home! Great service, amazing food, very friendly and kind! Couldn't be happier to become a member and worth every penny! I would definitely recommend this location especially with kind staff that constantly check on you to make sure you're having a good time. Definitely going to be my go to spot moving forward!

Worst hotel experience I've had in LA. It's a 2 star hotel with the "soho house" name on it. No pool, no hot tub, poor service (couldn't even get water to my room, had to get it myself), views of a parking lot, and heard every sound in every adjacent room (starting at 6am). I've stayed at 10+ hotels in the West Hollywood/ Santa Monica area and this was hands down the worst - at the same cost of many. Avoid.

We were disappointed with the level of service we received upon arrival at the hotel. We had to carry all our luggage without any help from the staff. The room also had a very noisy minibar, which kept my husband awake and we had to unplug it. The hotel was noisy throughout the night due to people being drunk and screaming. When we left, there was no one at the front desk to assist us. We were also charged for minibar items we did not consume. We contacted the front desk and they told us they would remove the charge out of "courtesy", but is it really a "courtesy" when we did not even consume the beverage as claimed? We are disappointed with the experience after staying in many other wonderful Soho houses with staff that care about their guests.

I was on the roof on Wednesday and there was only one staff member up there handling the entire roof. His name was Jojo and he was absolutely amazing and attentive. It was so hot that day and I couldn't believe how quickly he was working. I always had water and he even offered me sunscreen and a towel. Every time he passed by me he asked if there was anything I needed and was just over all so great. He was then joined much later in the day by Pablo, or maybe Pablo took over. But Pablo is the cutest and sweetest ever. Always so chipper and quick. So polite and well spoken. He always explains everything with such detail. Soho tends to get a bad rap sometime with the staff but I have had nothing but great experiences with the staff at Holloway house. It's service like this that keeps me returning to a place. I cannot wait to spend all summer on the day bed at Holloway house with this incredible staff that works so hard! :)

Proud member of soho house for 3 years and this is my favorite location. The rooftop is stunning. We always start here for a night in West Hollywood. The staff are above and beyond.

I live down the street and always love my time here and wasn't sure who to bring this up to but my biggest note would be that the service is lacking. I'm currently at brunch ( it's not busy- seemingly) and have been waiting for a mimosa and coffee for 20 minutes. And the last few times I've also noticed a lack in efficiency - not sure where the issues in timing stem from. I love the food and the ambience and would just love for the service to match.

Do not come here unless you want to be treated like sh*t. The staff is horrible. No customer service. They made us wait 45 minutes and sat the same size party before us. I will never recommend this place and never come back, especially since 2 of us are soho members. Such a disappointment.
