Sushi was delicious as were the vegetable spring rolls. I do wish they had more of a mocktail selection but it was still a large menu of items to choose from. We also had the appetizers of crab Rangoon, edamame, vegetable spring rolls, and miso soup. The salad was delicious with the ginger dressing as were the chicken skewers.

Great sushi rolls with beautiful, colorful presentation, cozy yet lively vibes and friendly service! A must go!

We’re regular customers at SoHo Sushi, however recently we’ve noticed that quality has gone down. We picked up a few rolls on Friday night, and noticed the avocado was super mushy and brown, most rolls lacked of flavor and sliders were cold and undercooked. We definitely won’t be returning.

We went there for lunch time with my friends. I love the Yellowjacket sushi rolls special and the cooked Hotbling specials.

In Tampa on a work trip and one of my coworkers recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint. The ambiance is very welcoming, the service is amazing and the food is wonderful and best part about all of this is that it is affordable. I highly recommend this place and I’ll be definitely going back

To celebrate my brother's birthday, we chose Soho Sushi for a special weekend dinner. We felt lucky to snag a reservation, as it's a popular spot for sushi lovers. One added convenience was the complimentary valet service, which allowed us to relax and head straight into the restaurant without any hassle over parking. As we entered, the restaurant was buzzing with people enjoying their sushi dinners, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere. We were warmly greeted at the front desk before being shown to our table, where our server for the evening, Kirk, introduced himself. Kirk was outstanding; he was both personable and knowledgeable, demonstrating confidence and expertise with the menu. He made us feel well taken care of and added to the overall enjoyment of our evening. We kicked off our celebration with a round of drinks, opting for Red Wine and sodas to get things started. For appetizers, we ordered the Chicken Katsu, Shrimp Tempura, and Chicken Sliders. Each appetizer arrived freshly prepared and did not disappoint. The Chicken Katsu was perfectly breaded and delicious--a great start to our meal. The Shrimp Tempura was light and crispy, complemented by a mix of perfectly cooked vegetables, which added a nice variety. The Chicken Sliders were juicy and flavorful, an ideal comfort food addition to our lineup of appetizers. For our main course, we ordered a selection of sushi rolls, including the Mexican Roll, Japanese Bagel Roll, Volcano Roll, and Snake Eye Salmon Roll. When the rolls arrived, they were beautifully plated, showing attention to detail in presentation as well as flavor. Of all the rolls, the Mexican Roll and Volcano Roll stood out as our absolute favorites. They were packed with flavor and had a perfect balance of textures that made each bite delicious. Our dinner at Soho Sushi was a wonderful experience, filled with great food and warm service. The delicious rolls and memorable appetizers made the night special, and the ambiance added to the celebration. For anyone looking for a sushi spot with top-notch service and quality dishes, Soho Sushi is a fantastic choice. We'll definitely be back for more!

I was reffered here by a good friend. Drove 1:20 to get there. Best Sushi I have had EVER. Worth the drive. Staff was super polite. Made a reservation so it was like no wait time. Food was awesome. My new fav sushi place. Oh and the crab rangoons are glorious.

Google
Gorgeous restaurant with a great ambiance. Our waitress whose name was never said, the one with tattoos, was very rude. The nigiri portions were massive. I was impressed by the flavor of the scallop and o toro. The mackerel, salmon roe, and wagyu were a little flavorless. They have no liquor, which was a bit of a let down. Between the service and food, a second visit is not warranted. Great atmosphere and nice sushi chefs however.

Yelp
I came just 5 minutes before their lunch closing (didn't realize)... However the staff took care of me and delivered my takeout order VERY FAST. Volcano roll was delicious!

Yelp
Fantastic sushi. Very fun and cute interior - I enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar. Happy hour deals til 7. Hotling bling rill was phenomenal, definitely my favorite. Devoured the Kat roll and also the ring of fire. Sushi was super fresh and came out quick. Love that they have a full bar too. Will definitely be stopping in for quick date nights at the bar. Solid sushi all around

Yelp
Best quality and best price!! Happy hour meant $1 off rolls so we could eat our hearts out for $5.75 an order! Service was quick and it was the perfect spot for a casual night out! Will definitely be coming back, especially for this deal.

Yelp
We made NYE reservations for 7pm and what a great call that was! The parking lot is strangely configured where you spin around the building to get comp valet if you can't find a spot. Keep in mind the parking lot is about 15-20 spots at most. We got a table for 2 right away and dug right in as we were starving. We started off with some Seaweed Salad then ordered the Blazian, Ring of Fire, Yellowjacket Roll, Red Dragon, a few pieces of Unagi plus my wife ordered the Otoro an Tokoro (sp?). Now the specialty rolls were amazing and we have nothing bad to say about it as they were fresh and amazing, blazing with taste! My Unagi was great and there was some miscommunication between the Otoro and Tokoro so a manager comped one of those to my wife. It was not the servers fault at all! The service was amazing, the place was cool but that parking lot! Ugh. We hope they can deliver to Largo!

Melissa P.

Yelp
My waitress, Harumi, was lovely and kind. Service was extraordinary. Fish was fresh, delicious, and incredibly flavorful. Such a fun, creative take on sushi and I love how it is far from your typical sushi spot. The plating was like a painting. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Once again, this place continues to impress us. We decided to come in, without a reservation, and have dinner to celebrate my new job. We were seated right away and our server told us they were celebrating their 20th anniversary by having a "throw back" menu. We chose the "throw back" Geso as our appetizer, which had a nice crunch and flavor. For our entrees we got the yellowtail crudo (also amazing flavor especially with the oranges and peppers), spicy crunch tuna roll, Mexican roll, and yam yam rolls. All were perfect! We finished off the dinner with their "throwback" salted caramel brownie dessert which was huge! This place is always a hit, and makes for a perfect date night with low dinner lighting and a lit candle at the table. We can't wait to come again!

Yelp
Incredible food! Everything we had was fresh, delicious and so reasonably priced. The happy hour drink specials are awesome. We had 5pm reservations on a Saturday and were seated right away, the restaurant quickly filled up shortly after. We started with steamed buns and spring rolls. The steak was melt in your mouth deliciousness. We were so full from our meals and took home plenty of leftovers which reheated well the next day.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious, great ambience, and fantastic service. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Always been my favorite sushi in Tampa! With the trend of all you can eat sushi restaurants, quality has snuck out the back door when the families were running in. SoHo sushi still brings the good stuff and wine bar atmosphere I'm looking for when I want ELEVATED SUSHI!
google avatar

Michelle F.

Yelp
Another great dining experience. Arrived early with my reservation and was promptly seating. The restaurant fill quickly because the menu is so creative and the food is so fresh and delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Soho Sushi does not disappoint! Delicious food, friendly service, and great vibes for a weekend night out. And even better, the price point is actually great for the experience! Will return again and again.
google avatar

Ally L.

Yelp
Overall great experience!!! Our waiter was so nice & attentive. Drinks were fresh and delicious. We started with the spring rolls and ginger salad and the spring rolls were a great portion. Then we got tuna sashimi and nigiri- both great portions and great presentation. Then finished with the salmon avocado roll and ring of fire... absolutely delicious. Inside is dark and intimate. Bit quieter which is nice for a date night! And well priced
google avatar

Karen N.

Yelp
The fish was fresh and delicious! The nigiri pieces were large and fresh, and the rice was perfectly seasoned. The tempura-fried Oreos were DELICIOUS.
google avatar

Krista S.

Yelp
Had a lovely experience here at SoHo Sushi. They have quite the extensive sushi menu. A very niche preference that I really appreciate is how they have photos of each sushi roll on the menu so we knew exactly what to expect! The service was great and the restaurant had a clean, modern feel to it. They had a nice happy hour as well. We'll definitely be back here for a sushi night!

DeAnTi L.

Yelp
Lovely Ambience and the server made the experience even better! Food was really good. Love the choices of raw and cooked sushi. The Volcani and Kat rolls were outstanding and fresh! Save room for dessert- delicious!

Yelp
This updated review is brought to you in part by: Restaurant Week in Tampa. This was my return to SoHo after a long hiatus simply due to frequenting my local sushi joint. The restaurant week menu offered a lot of food for one generous price. Stacked with sushi and gluten-free options to fill me up except for dessert. My cocktail hit the spot. The restaurant was as loud and crowded as I remembered, and parking wasn't super easy but the sushi and service still stellar. Always a solid choice.
google avatar

Caroline W.

Yelp
Great place to go for lunch during the week, they are quick but food quality is there. The staff is nice and friendly. Great lunch deals. Plenty of seats. Usually pretty quiet.
google avatar

Jackie B.

Yelp
Unassuming from the outside but such a sleek and modern feel when you enter. Definitely make reservations, we came at 6 on a Tuesday and it was busy! The sushi was exceptional, the fish was so fresh and the flavors were so diverse, one of our rolls had lemon and jalapeno on it and it was superb (kiss of fire). We also had the candy cane and the red devil rolls which were delicious as well.
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
Excellent sushi. Fab. Happy hour def get there early it fills up quick. Tho with the wait if you can't House rolls are excellent !
google avatar

Teriann C.

Yelp
We ordered delivery for myself and a few coworkers and it was all pretty good! The salad could use more dressing, the requests for someone's meal didn't happen at all, and we all ordered lunch specials that came with two rolls and the rolls came mixed up. The crab rangoons were really good and while I don't really like deep fried rolls their bagel roll was delicious! Overall the food was good but service was not the best.

Yelp
12 out of 10, WOULD RECOMMEND! Being someone who loves sushi and has experienced a lot of places from the "eh, uh huh" to the "your mouth waters just talking about the location", Soho absolutely meets the highest criteria. Been a Tampa resident for some years now and I thought it would've been easy to find a sushi spot here, given we're right on the bay but I was wrong. Found a lot of those "uh huh" places until I found soho on yelp and never looked for another sushi spot again because nothing beats this place. Restaurant and parking itself is small but don't judge a book by the cover. They have free valet, who themselves are always friendly and take car of your car. Reservations are a must here and fill up quick. Although the place is small, you walk in and it's a dim ambience that sets with sushi vibes. The menu has a variety of options for those non fish consumers. As for the sushi definitely recommend the Kiss of fire and for the staff, hands down wonderful, we request Dami every time. This place is definitely a monthly, sometimes bi-monthly visit for us.

Yelp
Went to Soho Sushi for a midweek date night. Tit was busy but we made a reservation so we were seated right away. We ordered Miso Soups and the Tuna Crispy Rice as our appetizers. The soups were served really quickly and were delicious! The Tuna Crispy Rice was also delicious, I wish they were smaller to enjoy them in one bite. Maybe instead of two, make it 4 smaller portions. Our rolls were served in a cute cutting board, and each roll was perfect!
google avatar

F S.

Yelp
Been coming here for years. Nice atmosphere. Sushi is above average for Tampa, but not particularly creative or delicious. Drinks are decent given the limited alcohol permit/options. I knocked stars off because it feel like they're constantly reinventing themselves. The menu doesn't seem to change much, but when it does it's detrimental. Prices constantly going up (hint: ground wagyu in a potsticker is a waste). Now they charge a credit card fee. People like consistency in a restaurant and SoHo doesn't offer that.
google avatar

Clarice C.

Yelp
Went Saturday for date night!! Soho sushi is our absolute favorite to go for date night and sushi!! Hands down the best sticky buns and,the best sushi in Tampa!! We will keep going back!!
google avatar

Thomas S.

Yelp
Amazing sushi, presentation was fabulous and equally delicious! Our waiter was wonderful as well! Valet is complimentary (you should always tip). Definitely put this at the top of your list for sushi!

Yelp
I've been to SoHo Sushi quite a few times however this time things were off. We arrived at 6:00pm and it was already busy. The ambiance is always so nice. We started with the edamame with salt which was flavorful. Next we had the gyoza and they were rather greasy. I had a ginger salad in which the ginger dressing was very very thick and had so many carrots on the salad. Next we had the Asian Style BBQ. My daughter tasted it and it was okay. Not something she would say she needed to order again. However it was a huge portion so she had left overs. I had the Katsu, shrimp nigiri, and a Mexican roll with soy paper. The chicken was good, however the sauce had a very odd taste to it. Almost bitter. And the white rice was very dry and overcooked. The Mexican roll and nigiri were good however aging the rice was rather dry and almost too tacky in texture. Hubby had salmon, tuna,l and yellowtail nigiri and a salmon dragon roll and miso soup. The soup was good and so was the seafood however again, the rice was very dry and tacky. Our server Damaso was super attentive and helpful. We we informed him that the gyozas were really greasy, he said no problem and removed them from the bill which was rather kind of him. We didn't expect that however was grateful we didn't have to pay for something we couldn't eat. Overall this visit didn't stand up to the other times we have enjoyed dinner here. I know restaurants have off nights and I think this was one of them.

Yelp
We we arrived on a Wednesday evening, found out that it was half off wines. As soon as we arrive, we realize it was very crowded. They had to sit at the bar. I highly recommend scheduling reservations. Started off with a shrimp, tempura appetizer. Which was pretty good, shrimp is fresh, and the vegetables were delicious. Everything tasted fresh. We also ordered their shrimp tempura roll, which is very delicious however the jalapeños were pretty spicy. My wife had the salad with the ginger sauce which is pretty good as well. Overall, the food was pretty good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and come back later.

Yelp
Another perfect spot for date night, Soho Sushi. A small, cozy, and vibey place mixed with good appetizers, sushi, and dessert. As someone who isn't a Sushi connesaiur, this place keeps on bringing me back for more. Edamame and the Chicken dumplings are a must start with the appetizers paired with some wine. Next for the Sushi: I went with the donut role, a perfectly fried tempura sushi role that beyond satisfies the tastebuds. Lastly, to complement and finish the night, the fried Oreos are probably why I keep coming back here. I don't think I've found another place with this good of dessert, it seems so simple but simplicity is hard to master. Overall, a nice date night spot if you're looking for a casual spot to go grab sushi, drinks, and some fried Oreos.

Yelp
Great service! Great Sushi! Friendly staff specifically front door lady who has always been so kind to me and my two young kids and tried her best to seat us as soon as possible on busy Friday nights! Some of the sushi chefs are super artistic! Kids truly liked the experience of seating at the sushi bar and seeing how rolls are made. Overall great experience!

Yelp
This is my new sushi spot. The ambiance is great and the sushi bar is long, Just the way I like it. The sushi chefs were on point with suggestions and laughter. If you like were you work you make everybody happy. I'm not sure what took me so long to come here but I will be back many times more for sure.

Yelp
The food was so good and it also came out really fast after i ordered. i also want to say Kimberly was a very sweet and quick server and provided good service.

Yelp
A super busy sushi restaurant. Highly recommend making reservations ahead. Otherwise there is the bar which is where we sat. Very friendly staff, service was great. Food came out fresh and hot. Everything was delicious.

Yelp
Free valet on arrival. We needed it as parking was limited on a Monday (happy hour all day). Don't forget to tip! Nice ambiance, kind of dark and upscale casual. If you like sake I recommend the premium. Got you every page of the menu. The menu marks gluten free, soy free, and sesame free. We enjoyed the edamame and sushi. Great service!

Yelp
1st visit here after dining here once years ago and the sushi (and dessert ;) was phenomenal! I LOVED their volcano roll - many places have these now but SoHo Sushi's is, by far, the best I've had! My niece loved Salmon Zest and Salmon Dragon rolls and hubby was really happy w Ring of Fire and Yellow Jacket rolls. We will be back for sure! The only thing not so rave worthy was the seaweed salad - just a scoop of seaward on a bowl - it tasted just fine but when everything else was so beautifully presented, this just seemed out of place. Our server Pierre was fantastic, very personable. attentive (never had to flag him down for anything) , and just all around a great waiter! Oh and the menu has pix of all the rolls!! The BEST idea - as it helped us order more quickly and know exactly what we were getting! Last but not least, the brownie cheesecake for dessert was out of this world. Complimentary valet parking. Note - when making a reservation we had to leave a cc and if you don't cancel (I think within 2 hours?? of reservation) and are a no show it's a $20 charge per person. For us it's worth it as we would cancel if we couldn't make it but did make me hesitant to make that reservation.
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
I heard many good things about this place so wanted to give it a try! We sat at the sushi bar and it was cool to see them make the rolls in front of us. I ordered the Florida roll that is a speciality roll and it was good. My partner ordered multiple smaller sushi rolls and they were okay but he was jealous of my roll. The sangria was disappointing. It was watered down and did not taste good, I didn't finish it. The fried ice cream though was very yummy.
google avatar

Caroline D.

Yelp
Soho Sushi has been around for years but recently transitioned to new management. In my opinion, the menu is still pretty much the same great quality and freshness from the OG establishment with some new features. Most notably, they've introduced a nice happy hour with roll & drink specials as well as new specialty dishes. My personal faves are the yellowtail jalapeño sashimi - we usually have to order at least two of these! It's delicious. I also love their candy cane, red dragon, Mexican, & spicy crunchy tuna rolls. It was really busy when we popped in on Monday night around 8:30 - so try to make a res if you can! They're also on some delivery apps, which is a nice option as well.

Yelp
Soho Sushi came highly recommended by many people so we had to go check it out. We came for happy hour and it was crowded, they have some great happy hour deals by the way. Since we didn't have a reservation we said at the sushi bar. The service was great, the ambiance is chill, very casual. The food is affordable and for the price I believe it to be fair. Maybe my expectations were too high because of the many people who recommended it, but I've had better sushi in my personal opinion. However, when the fried ice cream showed up I was surprised, it is definitely worth it. Overall I recommend it, next time I go I'm going to try something else and experience more of the menu because I did see some very delicious sushi dishes being made in the sushi bar.
google avatar

Valerie N.

Yelp
I pass by this place everyday and finally decided to give it a try after hearing positive feedback. Monday they have an all day Happy Hour for select rolls. We ordered a few varieties such as Soho Roll, K-Town Roll, and Love Roll along with miso soup and Bao bun. Bao Bun was fire! Loved the pickled veggies to offset the chicken katsu breading. Best rolls was the K-Town roll. There are so many choices for rolls so def more to try next time. Be aware of the parking since it's very limited with the valet in the front. To go parking in the back.
google avatar

Angela P.

Yelp
My fiancé and I ordered 5 rolls to share between the 2 of us. I felt it was plenty, and we could have even ordered 1 less. The fish had great flavor and overall tasted fresh. I'm really picky about my sushi and if it all ends up tasting the same, I probably will never go back. I didn't feel that with this place. We also ordered peach Sake which was fire! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I had made reservations online for 4 at 7pm but ended up needing to change it last minute to 5 people for 7:30pm. I was able to change it all online and although it looked like my 7pm reservation was never canceled, they seated half our group with drinks while they waited for us to arrive. 5/5 stars for a great sushi spot in tampa!!
google avatar

Anisa S.

Yelp
Our waitress was phenomenal! I think her name was Consuela or Constance... not sure but she was AH MAZING!! The sushi was decent and the appetizers were pretty good. I have to say the miso soup was very tasty and the crab ragu was yummy! The only thing I'd say was ehhh is the dry fried rice and 2 bathrooms aren't enough.
google avatar

Skylar W.

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. I sat at the bar watching the USF game and ordered the gyoza, yellowtail sashimi, and the tie dye roll which was on happy hour. I expected the gyoza to come out first but it didn't come out until halfway through eating my sushi. Gyoza: the perfect amount of cooked and golden brown on the bottom. Lots of meat inside, very good. Yellowtail: nothing bad to say, tasted fresh and that's all I can ask for. The pieces were a decent size. Tie dye roll: a gorgeous sushi roll, first of all. A+ presentation with the colors of topping changing throughout the roll!!! This was yellowtail, scalion and cucumber topped with tuna, white tuna, and avocado and ponzu sauce/wasabi mayo. The wasabi mayo was spicier than I was expecting (duh, wasabi) so I ended up wiping it off a few of the pieces but otherwise it was delicious! Not too heavy either. Also, parking sucks but they kindly offer complimentary valet!
google avatar

Kat W.

Yelp
I'm a huge sushi lover so wanted to finally check out what all the hype was about since I've heard many good things about this place. Ordered to-go online ahead of time which was convenient. They have a decent but not extensive number of specialty sushi on their menu, as well as other food items like bao buns, fried appetizers, ramen, etc. Sushi was good, honestly nothing special. Good quality and fresh, but tbh I've had better. Also I wish they would've maybe labeled the boxes of which roll was what, because they honestly tasted very similar and had all the same fish lol. Price was average. The bao buns were pretty great though, so full of flavor!

Yelp
last night was my first time dining at Soho Sushi. The best way to sum up the experience is that I see potential, but they missed the mark. We started off with a happy hour special, I believe it was called the Spicy Crunchy Tuna. The roll was delicious, fresh and flavorful; we liked it so much that we ordered a second one along with gyoza and salted edamame. We enjoyed our appetizers with a bottle of Chardonnay that was also on the happy hour menu, but for me that's where the enjoyment stopped. One of the best parts of Soho Sushi is that you can watch the chefs make each roll fresh to order. That also means I saw my dinner roll, the Red Devil, be made and then sit for 15-20 minutes until my server brought it to the table. I am unsure what caused this to happen because the server was excellent and very on top of our table the entire night. Unfortunately, my sushi had a very offputting texture that prevented me from finishing my meal. I'm unsure if the tempura became soggy, the seaweed became mushy, the fresh tuna became warm, or it was a combination of things, but upon tasting you could just tell that something was not right. since everyone else who dined with me thoroughly enjoyed their rolls and everything I had before for my dinner was great, I will rate this experience as 4 stars and will give Soho Sushi a second chance. I really hope this was a one time occurrence.

Yelp
Best sushi in Tampa and reasonable prices! Can't leave without getting the fried Oreos too! This place never misses and has earned my business over the last year since discovering them!
google avatar

Derek R.

Yelp
My wife and I went here for restaurant week and ordered off that menu. It was a great value! Appetizer, two rolls, two specialty rolls, and a dessert for two people for $55. We also got the for happy hour (until 7pm), so we got drink discounts too! It's was rather crowded so make sure you make a reservation. Our favorite rolls were the soho roll and red dragon roll. Tried the lobstah wagyu roll as an additional roll, and it wasn't worth the $22 (discounted price for Happy Hour). Our waitress Consuelo was very attentive and checked on us periodically. Overall, good experience, but we'd need to continue to try and find the rolls we like. Oh, and they have complimentary valet service, which is extremely helpful, but remember to bring some cash for the tip! One more issue - they had the Soho house beer listed on the Happy Hour menu at a discounted price, but they were out of the beer. They did not substitute the Happy Hour special with another beer brand, which was disappointing. So I had to purchase a separate beer at full price. IMO, if they ran out of the house beer, they really should substitute the HH special with another beer brand. I think that's just good business.

Yelp
Everyone that has been here kept telling me to go here. So I did. I forgot what I ordered but I can definitely say it was fresh and delicious. What I believe separates a lot of sushi from the rest is the rice. I found soho to have a very palatable feel and vinegar taste. Now I'm going to be like everyone else who recommended me to go here and tell others too as well if they want good sushi in Tampa lol
google avatar

Carolyn S.

Yelp
I love sushi, but it's one of those foods that I have to be in the mood for. Sushi and sushi places are not something I'm as familiar with as Italian, so my taste in sushi places is very selective. Don't get me wrong, Tampa has sushi places aplenty; it's GOOD sushi places that I can't exactly say the same thing about. Pick wrong and the sushi can range from tasteless, bland, and kinda old, to tasting predominantly of ginger and vinegar. No thanks. I've been to SOHO sushi before, and I was in one of those moods where I really wanted sushi. Parking looks complicated, and getting there can be messy, but never fear they have FREE valet parking, which is very convenient when you don't want to fret over finding a parking spot. I think they have some kind of bargain with the building next door for parking or whatever. The place is always packed. I go in barely thirty minutes into when they open for dinner and the dining area is already full, but since I go solo anyway, I have no issue just sitting at the sake or the sushi bar. Well, that's all great, but what about the sushi??? LOVE it. This sushi here tastes very fresh, and they have a lot of different varieties to choose from. For my first visit, I got their Volcano roll, which does look like a volcano, but it's a ring of crab and tempura shrimp sushi with crab salad on top. The ratio of mayo is perfect, and I definitely taste WAY more than vinegar and ginger. I was shocked at the speed in which they made my sushi. I really hate rice (as I think I've mentioned in previous reviews in the past) so I can really appreciate that the rice does not dominate the whole roll so I can enjoy the different flavors. Unfortunately, I was in a big rush, so I ran out after just one roll of sushi, but I was determined to go back. My next visit, I had a little more time to spend, so I got two rolls and I arrived a little later than right at 5. Once again I was seated promptly at the sake bar and my order was taken. I took a little while for my sushi to arrive, as expected since I've ordered two rolls. But the wait was worth. I got the Lobster Fresh roll: lobster salad wrapped with greens in a lettuce wrap and topped with shredded carrots. This roll was light, tasty, and really hit the spot. It would do perfectly on a non-cheat day. I also got the Spider Roll, another favorite, which is soft shell crap, asparagus, roe, rice, all wrapped in seaweed paper. I don't get to enjoy soft shell crap as much as I would like, but this too tasted incredibly fresh, and it did fill me up since there was a little more. I was in an out of the place in less than one hour, which was nice since I was on my way out somewhere, and I love how efficiently they run here. I didn't have to wait for my server to get my check, as when I asked for it, that person brought the card reader over to me, and I was out the door. Now word to anyone who does not go alone, like myself, because they are so busy, you would want to call ahead for a reservation. Me, I am not picky, and would sit anywhere, but I even I push my luck a little because even the sake and sushi bars fill up. It's worth it though as it's some of the best sushi in town.

Yelp
I rate this place about a 4 1/2 stars. Despite a small lack of consistency in flavor and presentation 4 stars would be too low. I have been a handful of times and have always walked out gratified. They have a large menu, the food is very good, servers are pleasant and attentive and the ambiance is perfect for the location and clientele. Centrally located on Kennedy Ave, the strip center has limited parking out front and I am not sure if there is additional parking elsewhere because at lunchtime I have always found a spot. It's a great place to quell that Sushi craving. I do not, however, order Sashimi here, I seek better quality. To clarify, stuff you do not find in 90% of the places out there. Come get you some.

Yelp
Best sushi place in Tampa for real! Everything here was amazing from the sushi to the drinks. The fish was fresh and had a nice bite to it. The quality was definitely worth the price. The service was great and the staff was friendly as we tried to decide what to order. The location was a little small and parking was horrible, but I would go through it all again just to have this sashimi. I posted about this place on my Instagram @rosiesfoodtour, check it out!
