We came here on a date night based on a friend’s recommendation and the reviews seem like it would have been a good place. But, we were definitely not impressed. We came on a Saturday night at 730pm and maybe they were too busy and understaffed…. What didn’t make a good impression was when we were seated, the booth was sprinkled with crumbs and it was really dirty, so we had to ask them to clean it. It took 10 mins for water to come out. We waited an hour for our food and it was lukewarm at best upon arrival. Our server was super sweet and we really liked her. The restaurant is pretty, but we couldn’t really see the view. They had on top 40 songs and no Spanish music or anything like that. After having gone to some amazing restaurants last weekend like Teleferic, this paled in comparison. I’d probably rather go to Javier’s instead of here. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food and vibes, this is not it.

This place was definitely fine dining without the dress code like someone had mentioned on another review. There's a nice view of the port that you can watch the boats and kayakers go by. We love the decor of the restaurant--it looked very sophisticated. We ate here on a weekend and the place was packed. We saw different groups of people celebrating different occasions-- including us. The downside was that it was so packed that it was really tight around the chairs that you could barely move around and the music was loud. We had to raise our voices just to talk to the person sitting next to you. When reserving a table, make sure you ask how high the tables and the chairs are. It's just something to consider if you are taking kids with you or have disabilities. The high chairs are like the barstool height. I don't know if they just waxed their floors, but the chairs moved like they had wheels and we were a little nervous about slipping and falling while trying to get onto the high chair. As for the service, the lady attending to us was wonderful. She was very helpful and attentive. The other staff members were very friendly as well. It was nice that you can watch the staff cook and prepare your meal. The food was good. They were on the higher end as far as the price goes, but you can say you're also paying for the scenery. They have a brunch menu that is served until 3:00pm. I really liked their mechaca (beef) burrito. I wished they offered more dishes that had the mechaca because they only had 1 and it was a breakfast burrito. Overall, it was a nice place to eat.

Sol Mexican Cocina offers a vibrant atmosphere and delicious. The tacos were flavorful, and the guacamole was fresh and creamy. Great service and beachfront vibes make it a must visit.

Google
This restaurant was definitely fine dining without the dress code. It sits next to a marina, so you can park your boat and come into the restaurant. But the meal, drinks, and wait staff was excellent 👏🏾💜

Came here after work and had dinner by myself. The place was pretty packed with families, date nights, work friends, and birthday celebrations. I had a friendly waitress Sarah who gave me recommendations. I ordered the watermelon margarita, naked guacamole, Grilled Agave-Chile Shrimp taco, and the short ribs and blue corn taco. Everything was good. I especially loved the margarita and shrimp taco. Whenever I’m in the area I will definitely be back.

Google
I'm thrilled to have discovered Sol Mexican Cocina in Newport Beach, CA! This vibrant and lively restaurant serves up authentic Mexican flavors with a modern twist, and their exceptional service makes it a must-visit destination. We started with the Grilled Octopus, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The tender, charred tentacles were paired with a zesty, citrusy sauce that added a delightful brightness to the dish. For dessert, we indulged in the Churros con Cajeta, which were hands-down the best churros I've ever had! Crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and drizzled with a rich, creamy cajeta sauce, these sweet treats were absolute perfection. The service was top-notch, with friendly, attentive servers who ensured our glasses were always full and our plates were never empty.

Yelp
Sol is always a go-to, 10/10 spot. Foods great, cocktails are great, and I don't even need to mention the ambiance. It's beautiful. Ryan N. Is the man. Service was awesome and couldn't ask for a better server. Super easy going guy which is what we needed after a long week. Thanks for the service Ryan and keep up the good work! We'll be back to sit in your section!

Yelp
My group and I came here to celebrate a birthday (funny enough, everyone surrounding us was also celebrating one)! We were seated at a high top right next to the indoor fireplace. At first, we loved the aesthetic but at some point it was getting VERY hot and the restaurant was slammed. The restaurant itself feels very congested, there is little to no room in the walkways. Right when we were getting seated, we had to take an "alternative" route because there were people blocking the walkway. On top of that, our server almost dropped our tray of drinks on another table because of tight walkways (luckily she caught it in time)! The hightop itself was extremely small for four people, our chips and drinks took almost all of the room on the table. If you're bringing a purse, there isn't anywhere to hang it unless you hang it off your chair (which I tried doing but there were so many people walking that I didn't want it to get knocked off). The food came out great though, I got the carne asada tacos with rice and salad. It's a great price for the portion. I would say that the plating was weird because they plated my three tacos on this huge plate and gave me another plate with my salad. I'm just adding this part since there wasn't enough space on the table.

Yelp
I've been visiting Sol for over 10 years and always bring out-of-town guests here! We had lunch on New Year's Day (so glad they were open) and got seated at a booth with a lovely view. The staff was super friendly and attentive, checking in regularly. What we ordered: * Drinks: 2 coffees (great black coffee flavor!), 1 skinny margarita, 1 blackberry ginger margarita * Food: Guac appetizer, carne asada quesadilla (my go-to favorite), carnitas duck taco, CDMX quesotaco I'm also thrilled Sol is now part of the InKind app--we used it to pay and got a discount! I'll keep coming back for the delicious food, great ambiance, and outstanding service.

Yelp
Superb! This is where you want to be on a taco Tuesday. Clean cozy atmosphere. With 2 levels, there definitely was a live dinner party versus a more chill coworker outing degree of separation which I very much appreciated. The warm and fresh tortilla chips were the staple I expected. The margaritas were varied and tasty. I had the fish tacos. They were perfectly portioned and bursting with flavor. Our server was pleasant and helpful. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Stopped by here to celebrate a birthday the other night. Parking was easy to find. Though we went at night, I could tell the views would be spectacular during the days. The dining hall is modern and lively and you are able to see the kitchen staff hard at work. We ordered the El Jefe taco, grilled chicken burrito, and chicken quesadilla for our mains and a dessert as well. The El Jefe taco was a bit of a disappointment, menu says one large taco but it was just regular sized in my opinion. For $15 I think there needs to be something else besides a singular taco to complete the dish. The grilled chicken burrito was a decent size but was dry and filled mostly with beans. It definitely would've benefited from some sauce. The sides of rice and beans were decent. The quesadilla saved the night, generous portion, delicious, and came with guacamole and two delicious sauces. I particularly liked the spicy sauce that came with it. The dessert was tasty as well, fresh crispy churro paired with delicious vanilla ice cream is a great combo. It took a while for the food to come out but it was busy so that is understandable. Staff was nice. Overall it was a miss on the birthday celebration, but definitely some redeeming dishes and qualities here.

Yelp
The food was really good! The waiter did seem to forget about us as people that were seated after us were attended before us. The ambiance was calming and nice we got seated by the water. Overall pleasant.

Yelp
My BF's company had their holiday dinner here. I was excited to come back since it's been about 2 years since we've been here. For apps, we started with their naked guacamole with their house made chips, grilled sweet corn, and their coconut calamari. Everything was really good but my favorite was the calamari. For our mains, I got their wagyu skirt steak which was a little tough because they didn't cut against the grain, but the favor was good. My BF got their short rib Barbacoa...that was tender and flavorful. We ended the meal with their tres leche cake and churros. Overall, their service was great and food is good. I do suggest you come during the day so you can sit near the window and enjoy the view of the marina.

Yelp
We had a bad experience ordering take out here our first time, with incomplete entrees, so we thought we'd try dining in to see if it was any better. First, skip the pineapple serrano margarita- unless you want to basically drink a tall glass of pineapple juice. This cocktail tastes nothing like a margarita and there is definitely no kick to it at all. We had the Short Ribs Barbacoa and Shrimp Chile Relleno. Also skip the Shrimp Chile Relleno because it was just filled with rice, then served with a whole side of rice. The shrimp are very small, not even a serving worth of shrimp. Only 3 small shrimps in each one. The cheese was no where to be found in that dish. Also watched the server touch the rims of all the glasses as they were plating them on trays since we had a clear view of the service well. You're better off trying somewhere authentic- because unfortunately this place is not it.

Yelp
Best chicken quesadilla I've ever had, plenty for 2 people and very reasonable priced. Very chill environment and was able to get a table right next to the water. Fast and friendly service. A hidden gem for waterside dining!

Yelp
The food at this place is simply exceptional. I am fond of the Crab & Shrimp Cakes Benedicto, which I always order for brunch. The delectable cakes are perfectly seasoned with tender crab and juicy shrimp and topped with a rich hollandaise sauce that ties everything together beautifully. The bacon was also very crispy. To complement this dish, I choose the Cold Bruno Martini--a refreshing concoction that works wonders if you're nursing a hangover. The crisp, clean flavors of the martini awaken the senses and provide just the right pick-me-up. Additionally, the service here is top-notch; the staff is incredibly attentive and genuinely caring, ensuring that every aspect of your dining experience is enjoyable.

Yelp
Was in NPB for work and we had a team dinner at this beautiful place close to our hotel!!!! sol--- first off this is ocean front dining! The ocean is right outside and it's beautiful! Everything was so good! I got a margarita and a quesadilla that both slapped!!!! The chips here were the star of the show--- big chips that were well seasoned! Yum yum yum! I'm telling you this place is delicious! It's a beautiful restaurant and the service was really good! Would come back fosho!!!!

Yelp

Yelp
Accommodated the 8 of us quickly at a high table with a cool view of the waterway. Beverages and chips dips for the table came out quickly and kept refilled by our chipper, attentive waiter. (No lemonade available- they should remedy that). The chili verdes entree comes piping hot in a ceramic dish and has fresh Chicharrones and chopped white onion topping it. The flavor was great and it leans to the spicy side. Very tender pork and all enjoyed sharing it. Warm corn tortillas, black beans and rice accompanied. I was shared a mondo slice of their chicken quesadilla that had good flavors and quality cheese. There is a guacamole cart that looks like table side service is done. We Wished we had gone for the guacamole but will look forward to that next time. The interior has a nice wood and rustic southwestern feel and all areas are clean. Staff welcoming and easy, free parking.

Yelp
Food was great! Asada is good quality and tender. Grilled perfectly. Salsa and quac good. Spicy slaw wasn't spicy and very mayo tasting, which is great for me. Red rice is okay. Service is good. Checked on table if we were good. Kept bringing water to us without asking. Brought boxes for food leftover without asking either.

Yelp
Took my two nieces here for lunch on a weekday and it was their first time. I was excited to get their Vampiro Taco which is my absolute favorite thing on their menu. Actually, everything on their menu is top-notch. I've ordered quite a few different dishes here before but I find myself coming here for their happy hour specials. Their drinks are strong and delicious! I stick to the skinny margarita but my nieces wanted their spicy mango frozen margarita which was blended so smooth! Very tasty For food, we had the guacamole dip, corn elote (that's a must) and their white fish ceviche. By the time I finished with the appetizers, I almost didn't have room for my taco! The portions are nice. Service was great. Our server was attentive and hooked it up with the free appetizer for checking into Yelp. I also have the inKind app that gave me even more discounts when you spend a certain amount. I reserved the booths overlooking the water. The scenery was beautiful and ambiance was chill. Loved spending time with my nieces and SOL did not disappoint.

Yelp
Husband and I decided to come back here for Father's Day lunch with my in laws. It was super packed and busy! Luckily, we were seated within 10-15mins (w/ a reservation) Food and drinks were delicious, we had the grilled sweet corn, carne asada and carnitas burrito, street taco plate, sol fajitas and mango con chile margarita! Everything was yummy and made fresh, only downside was the wait time for the food but they kept us busy with the complimentary chips and beans! Our server, Juan A, was THE BEST server we couldve asked for!! He was quick, attentive and entertaining (he even joined our family photo lol) which made the whole dining experience much more enjoyable despite the long wait and the dining area being a little warm. Hope we catch him again when we come back. This place is still a 10/10 for my husband and I!

Yelp
It's a nice restaurant and the prices are fair. We got the coconut calamari as an appetizer and was surprisingly good. For main entrees we got the volcano (chicken meal) and Wagyu steak. The volcano meal was heavy in spices and a bit greasy. It's good but if you have stomach issues like acid reflux have something else. The wagyu steak was delicious! It was prepared well and you can taste the freshness of the meat. Server was great and the ambiance was not too loud and enjoyable. After 5pm or so it looks like it does get a little loud. Total bill was about $147 for two. However we ordered a couple of drinks and they add up.

Yelp
The food was delicious and fresh , my waiter Ryan,N was super energetic and eager to take our order. The environment was very nice by the sea. Ryan made sure to attend to all our needs and request , was very friendly and motivated to take good care of us for me and my wife valentine dinner. Would definitely return

Yelp
Came here for brunch and a birthday and completely changed my opinion! Their chips and salsa/bean dip are so good and you cannot go wrong with the Bloody Mary and selection of plates for a reasonable price. JC was so amazing in handling our 13 person table and birthday. He was on top of our drink orders, food orders, and made sure we all were taken care of. JC should be an example of how every server should be. Thank you JC for making my friend's birthday brunch so special and making us all feel so special! We can't wait to come back!

Yelp
JC is the BEST!!! We are SO lucky that he was our server!! He has the most beautiful voice! Viviana was such a helpful person with making our resveration!

Yelp
Food was absolutely amazing and our waiter JC was even better! We went out to dinner with our whole volleyball team and he made our experience unforgettable! He has the best singing voice!

Yelp
Amazing service by JC! love the table side guacamole and sweet corn! amazing views on the indoor patio and decadent drinks!

Yelp
Food was great, loved the coconut calamari. Margarita needed adjustment, but the food was great including the service.

Yelp
The only 5 star thing about this restaurant is the location. The views are beautiful and serene. Probably a great spot for margaritas too. But the food is subpar and overpriced. We waited over 30 minutes for our entrees to come out. We had 4:15 pm reservations. Mind you it was 9 of us, but including 4 kids. By contrast, the kids' entrees came out super quickly. Like within 8 minutes of ordering. So no surprise there, their food definitely wasn't fresh. Which meant, there were only 5 adult entrees that needed to come out. The fajitas were disappointing. No sizzle. The shrimp were so small and puny. It was a big let down. I think we paid like $14 for one dollop of guacamole. Laughable. The ONLY thing that tasted good, is their quesadillas. But how do you mess that up? Again nothing stood out. Probably won't come here again. Tons of better authentic food and flavors to choose from besides SOL.

Yelp
We had such a great experience for our New Year's Day reservation here. Our server was JC, and he went above and beyond to give our large party a wonderful experience. He was funny, friendly, but most of all, efficient! The food came out hot and fresh, we ordered an assortment of dishes, the standouts being carnitas, street corn, and coconut calamari. Lastly, we were celebrating a few January birthdays and JC serenaded our celebrants with a song while bringing out a plate of treats. What a nice touch! Would definitely return. The food is great, but JC's service was amazing!!

Yelp
Plenty of parking. Surprised they did not offer valet. Went on a Friday night with a group 10 plus. We had a reservation and was sat immediately. Saw several large groups being seated. Also saw several individuals walk in without a reservation and was seated. Menu had a nice selection. Everyone enjoyed there food and drinks We did not order dessert. Will definitely go back.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience at SOL Restaurant today thanks to the amazing and outstanding customer service we received from Denia and JC, and their yummy food and drinks!!! I asked Denia to give me suggestions on my drink, appetizer and main dish and she was spot on with everything, not to mention she checked on us several times throughout our meal and packed my leftovers for me which I appreciated!! We had a booth with the perfect view even though it was raining, and JC made my birthday even more special by singing Happy Birthday to me!!! His sense of humor was also great which made it even more special.. It's customer service like what Denia, JC and the other hostesses provided to us, which makes a restaurant so inviting and attracts customers for repeated business!! I'd love to go back to try more items off of their menu in the near future!!

Uali K.

Yelp
Benjamin and his team provided excellent customer service. Food though... IT was FANTASTIC, this was the best questillas i've had in my life. Special shout out to cooks. definitely will be back soon!

Yelp
Save your money and go to Taco Bell instead. I should have listened to my gut when I first walked in the restaurant that this would be bad experience. The restaurant had an American live performance that was so loud everyone in the restaurant is forced to yell in order to hear what the person across them is saying. It sounded like I was walking into a loud bar, not a restaurant. The hostess didn't seem to know what was going on in the restaurant. When I asked for a table of 2 she put me on a waitlist; the ETA was 40 minutes even though I was first on the list. When I checked open table there were manly available spots so I booked a table online instead and was able to be seated immediately. I asked the hostess if I could sit outside because it was too noisy inside and she said there were no tables available. I then told her I just walked outside and only 4/10 of the tables were taken. She said she would check but never came back. A different hostess sat us inside and then I asked her if I could move outside and we were able to shortly after. The food was so terrible, and we ordered everything the waiter recommended. The Short Ribs Barbacoa were very salty. The GRILLED AGAVE-CHILE SHRIMP came with 3 small pieces of shrimp and a mountain of shredded lettuce mixed in with what tasted like mayonnaise. The VAMPIRO carne asada taco was decent for the first couple of bites but after a while all you could taste is the chipotle sauce (which tasted more like mayonnaise). The food was definitely not authentic, it was more like a mayonnaise-American version of Mexican food. The only thing I liked about this restaurant was the tajin on the rim on my Michelada.

Judy S.

Yelp
Food and service was decent but the ambiance was not enjoyable for us. Very loud club music made us want to eat fast and get out.

Yelp
My partner and I wasn't able to have an early dinner at another restaurant but fortunately was able to come to Sol Mexican Cocina which was nearby and get seated after a short wait. Things to note, they offer valet parking for $6 which you can add to your dinner tab. Our server was great, he was polite and attentive, making sure our drinks were always filled and helped make some recommendations. As for the food, I enjoyed the beet and watermelon salad with arugula, it was really nice refreshing summer salad. We ordered a couple appetizers, which is always our favorite part of a meal. We started with the Spanish octopus which was okay - not as flavorful as it appears, the sweet corn was delicious - shaved at the table, creamy with some heat. We also tried the hot and raw tropical ceviche which was mixed at our table - I wish it was more spicy and had more fish, there was really only 4-5 chunks of fish and the rest was small shavings. The ceviche came with sweet potatoes chips that appeared to be stale, it was tough and chewy. My partner had the shrimp chille relleno and said he was a little disappointed with the chille, a dish / flavor he grew up eating - not as spicy as it should have been and lacking in flavor. Lastly, I ordered a carne asada grilled burrito that I ended up taking home - I'm not going to lie, we ended up eating the burrito 15 minutes later when we got back home to Newport and we agreed that the burrito was the best dish out of everything we ordered.

Yelp
Excellent elevated Mexican on the waterfront. Our server Dalia was excellent. We heard a free vocal performance from another server who had a birthday party at his table. Good times.

Yelp
This place was so incredibly good! My boyfriend's parents flew in to visit us and we took them to this nice spot in Newport. We were seated in a booth with a view of the bay during the evening time and it had such a dreamy and romantic vibe. Our waiters were great and they served fresh tortilla chips with guac which was a hit. We had their carne asada tacos and chicken burritos as well which did not disappoint. Had a pleasant time coming here and it's a great spot for family celebrations and elevated date night experiences.

Yelp
Enjoyed brunch with a view. My husband and I both ordered the same meal but they looked different. We ordered no onions, mine came with it, he's did not. Overall food was delicious.

Yelp
Waterfront restaurant where valet parking is available for $6! I was disappointed with my visit as I expected a lot more based on reviews and location. We were there celebrating a birthday and they sat us in like this little underground area where our server forgot about us most of the night. The drinks were mid and unfortunately 2 had to be sent back as they tasted like nothing but syrup. Food also wasn't the best and overpriced. For Newport Beach you would expect the cuisine to be amazing but instead it was mid. Hoping that it was possibly just a bad night!

Yelp
We went for weekend brunch on a sunny day. Parking was a bit tricky; there was a small self-parking lot shared with the Balboa Marina, and when the lot got full, you have to do valet parking. Initially we sat at patio which had a nice view of the marina on a sunny day. However it got pretty hot, and there was no air conditioning. With the sealed windows, the patio felt like a glass oven, so we switched to indoor seating. The service was fast, and food was pretty delicious. We tried the following: * Coconut Calamari $15 - pretty big calamari steaks with good texture and sauce * King Salmon, Kale & Quinoa $20 - healthy and fulfilling * Short Ribs Barbacoa $27 - flavorful and couldn't finish in one meal Overall, a pleasant experience at Sol, aside from the additional 3.99% surcharge to help offset labor costs and avoid raising menu price. To be fair, the restaurant did post sign at front entrance that 3.99% charge would be added to all checks. It just would've been easier to have one menu price without having to think about adding that extra charge.

Yelp
Our server Ryan was Amazing, gave great recommendations. He was very attentive. loved the churros!!!

Yelp
A group of 12 of us showed up mid week around (without reservations) and were pleasantly delighted to be seated in short order, due to some extra efforts by the staff . There was not much of a delay delay in coming out with menus and request our drink orders, then food order. The food was imaginative. The chips were like little discs (frisbee, anyone?) and that bean dip fabulous I ordered the breaded shrimp taco and delighted to find it piled high, I could've ordered one instead of 2. The Skinny. Margarita was kind of meh but what do you expect from a Skinny Margarita so I ordered a shot of Casamigo Reposado.(for $17) I will come mid day for the view or happy hour . While not inexpensive totally, we had a great time thanks to the wonderful service and good, innovative food. ¡Gracias!

Yelp
My daughter and her friends went this past Tuesday and had a blast. Their waiter JC was so amazing and very lively throughout the whole night. He serenaded them with his beautiful voice and they thoroughly enjoyed their dinner.

Yelp
Reservations were made same day so that was nice for a Saturday. However we did have to wait 20 minutes only then to be sat in the bar area, which had lots of empty bar type high tables. Ok, we can deal with that. Had a nice view, just really loud though. Had to wait a bit to give a drink order and our first 2 selections of beer they were out of. Ok, we can deal with that. No biggie. Second issue was a big one for me, I had my heart set on a particular dish since I have been to the Irvine location., which I had a great experience there by the way, so was excited to try the New Port Beach location, however they were out of their popular signature dish the "short ribs Barbacoa". Mind you it was 5 pm (too early to run out of something) but the worst part is the waiter should have said that right off the bat. Like sorry just to let you know we are out of this so I had the heads up. I never looked at the menu since I knew what I wanted. That was not good service at all. I ended up ordering the fajitas which was ok. Chips and salsa were good, as well as my spicy cucumber margarita. More on the spicy side though to be honest. It took me awhile to drink, let it water down a bit. Dessert was caramel sea salt chocolate ganache and was pretty good. All in all I won't come to this location again but will definitely go back to the Irvine location.

Yelp
We love coming to SOL ! But recently had a lovely server JC ! He was amazing in every aspect possible. Respectful, funny, attentive, so hard working. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and my toddler too! Even my toddler was sad to leave! Wish he could be our server everywhere we go! Every restaurant needs a JC! And SOL is blessed to have JC! Will keep coming back

Yelp
Went for brunch and our waiter, JC, was incredible!! He was very accommodating to allergies and recommended great food. The tableside guacamole is a must!

Yelp
Decent food and beautiful view of the boats. The service was really friendly and it was a lovely experience to take my mom on Mother's Day without breaking the bank. They also take reservations on OpenTable and there is valet upfront.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! This water front restaurant is perfect for a date, happy hour, social event, or just a nice meal out with family and friends. Amazing food, view, service, and vibe. I initially went here during Covid times, and there was a nice outdoor tent setup. The indoor venue is of course much nicer, with a really open feel and beautiful waterfront view. COMPLIMENTARY BLACK BEAN DIP AND SALSA (5/5) So yummy! The only downside with this delicious complimentary snack is that you will want to fill up before your meal comes. WARMED GOAT CHEESE (4/5) (Salted peanuts, sweet/hot chipotle syrup & cilantro sprigs) If you are a goat cheese fan, this is the appetizer for you. It's a pretty simple dish, a big piece of goat cheese with some flavoring and sauce to add some flare. There is a big tostada style tortilla chip that you can break apart to dip. A+ for presentation. NAKED GUACAMOLE (4/5) (Hass avocado, cilantro & lime with onion, serrano & tomato) Pretty simple dish, it's hard to go wrong with guacamole. I normally prefer my guacamole a little saltier and more citrusy, but it was still good. SHRIMP TAQUITOS (5/5) (Shrimp, cheese, garlic, herbs, chipotle sauce, guacamole (4)) My favorite appetizer, maybe my favorite dish here! Perfectly crispy with a flavorful chipotle sauce drizzled on top. The shrimp was fresh and a nice spin on a dish that I've normally seen made with chicken or beef. GOAT CHEESE ENCHILADAS (4.5/5) (Goat cheese & menonito cheeses, salsa verde, crema) Yummy! Disclaimer: I'm a big goat cheese fan, so this was a very yummy dish with a flavorful green sauce. In retrospect, I would have added a meat to the enchiladas, it was a little lacking without, but still delish and unique. The black beans and rice were also flavorful and delicious. SHORTRIBS BARBACOA (5/5) (Slow-cooked with chiles, with guacamole, onion, cotixa, yams) Seriously amazing, some of the most tender and flavorful I've had. I love the presentation of this dish as well, it's as if you have this little "do it yourself taco set with all the fix ins". Great portion size, I enjoyed the leftovers for dinner the next day. DRINKS (5/5) It's hard to keep track of all of the drinks we had, but I can tell you they were all delicious, with classic and unique options, and beautifully presented. This seems like a great happy hour place!
