The Best New Restaurants in Denver Right Now, Spring 2025 | Eater Denver

"Strikingly decorated with intricate pendant lights against a backdrop of gold and black, this Thai arrival in Uptown has more than just good looks going for it: Elegantly presented plates both classic and creative are its stock in trade, be they garlicky, chili-laced “heatwave shrimp” and tom yum-flavored fried rice or sticky rice-crusted ribeye and spicy spaghetti with scallops. To pair with it all, a full bar focused on cocktails infused with tropical ingredients like coconut, passion fruit, and lychee." - Ruth Tobias

The flavor! The vibes! The service! This was such an elevated experience at an affordable price. Filling portions, and timeless Thai dishes with an elevated twist. Don't skip the curated cocktails- I had the Rum Thai Tea of course! We went with a group of four and all loved it. Of you want a more casual feel, try La Mai Thai next to Sloans Lake - its the same owner Orrapan! She provides quality and class at all of her places ♡ attention to detail is 10/10.

We loved Som Dee for its food, beautiful decor, great music and just overall great atmosphere. We started with Heatwave Shrimp which was perfectly fried and seasoned and came with this amazing sauce that we wanted to bottle and take home. Then we shared spaghetti with scallops and Kra Pow with ground chicken. Both had great flavors and the best surprise was that their spice levels were real! We’re both used to spicy food and routinely add more hot sauce in the side but with the Hot level, my husband was sweating profusely and I had to get a lot of water refills. But the heat was flavorful and wasn’t just hot without flavor. I’d definitely suggest to go with medium for those looking for a good spice level without some pain. If I had to pick a fault, it’d be that the dishes are on the pricier side. But definitely worth it for a date night if you’re looking for traditional Thai dishes with elevated flavors!

Google
I cannot say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere here is elegant and elevated but relaxed. The food was the absolutely amazing. We had the Khao Soi with crispy chicken and the drunken noodles. Our server Kana provided exceptional service with her extreme kindness and personality. She definitely made our night. Overall I highly recommend Som Dee for anyone looking for authentic elevated Thai food in Denver.

Google
A terrific addition to the neighborhood! Menu is fairly simple but the food is high quality and presented beautifully. I went basic and got the Pad Thai and it was great to see it presented in the traditional way; noodles in the middle with the crushed chilies, ground peanuts, and sprouts on the side. Let me tell you, it was definitely a fantastic plate of Pad Thai and exactly what I was hoping for. It was delicately sweet and tangy. Just beautifully done. The cocktail I ordered was terrific as well. I also love the atmosphere of the place. Really stunning.

Pao and my waitress were both great. This is the nicest Thai restaurant I've ever been to. Nice selection of liquor at a gorgeous bar. Delicious dressing on the salad and pad thai was great. Just saw this place on the way to the Molly Brown House Museum and so glad I did.

My friend and I went into Som Dee on a Thursday evening around 8pm. First, we were pleasantly surprised to find a live Jazz band playing when we walked in, giving the dinning area an amazing ambiance. The whole staff was so friendly and always timely. The food came out hot and fast. My friend and I split the drunken noodle and green curry with jasmine rice. The food was absolutely incredible, the best Thai food I've found here in Denver. The food is reasonably priced and the owner hand delivered a complimentary dessert for us! This brand new restaurant is tru an amazing experience at Som Dee, we will definitely be back soon! 10/10 food and service was amazing. Must try restaurant in city park area!

Google
Excellent services and food! Both waitstaff and bartenders provided great services - friendly and attentive. We ordered a couple of starters and entrees which were excellent and quickly provided. The restaurant was clean with a gentle environment. Great last meal for us in Colorado visiting from out of state.

Yelp
My sister used to live a block from here and I'm so bummed that she moved before it opened. This place has an incredible menu and we didn't order one thing that wasn't amazing. The service was great and the vibes inside are were awesome as well! The music was loud enough that you didn't hear the people next to you talk too much but we could all hear each other pretty easily. There were good weekend date night vibes but they were also a handful of pretty big groups that they fit into the space well. We started it off by ordering cocktails, and I ordered a gin cocktail that looks blue on the menu and I can't remember the name of it, but it was delicious. They mentioned that it's one of their less sweet cocktails, and it was kind of like a fruity gin and tonic. Then I ordered the alone together and asked for it slightly less sweet than usual . It was delicious so much stronger than the last cocktail. It also came with edible glitter, which was a fun surprise! Our table split veggie potstickers, pork, eggrolls, and chicken satay for appetizer. All of them were delicious, but I think the standouts for me were the potstickers and then the satay because the sauce was fireeee. For dinner I split medium spice khao soi with crispy chicken and medium pad see ew with my dad. They are such different flavors, but I loved them both. Pad see ew is my usual go-to, but I actually think that the khao soi convinced me otherwise - it was my overall fav . I also ate my mom's pad Thai as leftovers - it was pretty good as well, but I wasn't as impressed as I was with the flavors in the other two dishes. For dessert, we ordered the coconut cream, which was vanilla ice cream, cream, and coconut rice. I absolutely loved the blend of the two flavors together as well as the differing temperatures of the warm, sticky rice and a cold ice cream. Not only was I impressed with the food, the vibes, and the service, but the presentation of all the dishes was also top notch. Now that I know that the owner of Som Dee also has another restaurant in Edgewater, I will be looking forward to trying that base on my experience here!

Yelp
This is an awesome Thai restaurant with a sleek and modern vibe. My friend was visiting from California and we decided to check out Som Dee. She ordered some Pad Thai, I ordered the Green Curry, and my cousin ordered the Chicken Larb. Our food was delicious! The servers were super nice and we had a great experience. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
Sadly, this is some of the worst Thai food I've had in Denver to date. I had such high hopes for this place as I drive by it all the time and it's been on my list to try. I ordered take-out with some friends and could not have been more let down. I got the Khao Soi with crispy chicken. Having eaten this dish directly from Northern Thailand, I was excited to see how this one compared. It fell short in every way. I ordered the crispy chicken, thinking the chicken would be similar to katsu chicken. It wasn't. It was an over-fried frozen chicken tender like you'd get at a sports bar chopped up. The chicken was so fried and leather-like. The batter did not compliment the curry flavors at all. The portion size was small and the typical accoutrements that you comes with this dish were not present (chopped cilantro, sliced shallots, pickled mustard greens and sometimes bean sprouts). It did come with sliced red onion, crispy onion and a lime wedge. For $28 with tax and tip, I was expecting to be wowed. My friends ordered the drunken noodles and fried rice. Straight from my friend's mouth, "How can an Asian place screw up fried rice?" My other friend said her noodles were "fine". The interior of the restaurant was completely empty but was welcoming and decorated well. Staff was super friendly while I waited. Sadly, I won't be back.

Yelp
Hands down the best Thai place I have been too. My boyfriend and I love trying new places, especially Thai, and we like it hot! Som Dee did not disappoint! From the charming interior to the fast and friendly service and lastly the exceptional food and drink, Som Dee has it all. It was clean and quiet inside on Monday night. Highly recommend the bay and bloom drink and the khao soi! Large entrees, great flavor, good spice, and I can't rave enough about the GF options. The Khao Soi was creamy, great spice level (I got hot and stilled added chili oil), fresh, lots of protein. I added my boyfriend's Thai basil from his drunken noodle and that also enhanced the flavor. I can't wait to come back and try all the other food and drink options!

Yelp
This is a really pretty place on 17th street in the North-ish Cap Hill area and the key thing is the ambiance inside. It would be good for a date night! Or, if you want to enjoy the weather outside, they do have some bar seating that is still outside along with a few tables. The food wasn't perfect for me, but I can't find any pad thai in the Denver area that is *not* red and sweet. In many other places and in the midwest the pad thai is much better, it is not sweet at all, yellowish in color, and savory. That's how I like it and if anyone knows where to get this good stuff, please enlighten me!!! The spice level was very high! I can't remember which way they did it here, if I ordered a "medium" or a 2-3 heat level, but I never go more than that and that pad thai was SPICY! A tad too much for me. So, I'd go lighter and you can always ask for some hot seasoning on the side to control it better. The lunch combo came with a side, as well, I went for the veggie pot stickers. I don't normally do dessert, but I really like mango a lot so I wanted to try it here. The mango mousse was very good, I'd only edit it by *not* pouring the sugar liquid over the top, it didn't need it and made it less good, and more mint would be a nice addition, it really paired well with the mango and light sweetness. The menu underwhelms me a little bit, mostly the standard stuff, so I hope they revisit it a bit and get a little more unique with it. I'll have to check out their curry and tom yum, though I prefer tom kha a bit more because I love coconut milk. And these are all winter foods, not something I typically eat in warm weather.

Yelp
Had to check out this new(ish) spot in the neighborhood! I would give the food 4.5/5 stars. The spring rolls and main dishes were absolute delicious!! The crab wonton and pot stickers coild have had a little more flavor. The abiance is really nice and there is a ton of seating inside and out. Our server was very nice and all of our food came out quickly. Would eat here again!

Yelp
I genuinely loved this restaurant. Service was amazing, excellent bar cocktails. I was wowed with the food. The music was chill and jazzy, and it fit perfectly with its exotic ambiance. White Lotus inspired. The new kid on the block is drawing up a crowd. Always look both ways before crossing and tip your servers.

Yelp
What a great addition to the neighborhood! The food and drinks are top notch. The highlights were the non-alcoholic cocktails - the fizzy lychee was the perfect combo of sweet and sour & the passion breeze was a bit more sour if you're looking for a more punch - I loved that they added boba to the drinks. Now for the food. The biggest highlight was the first thing we ordered - the shrimp jungle jam. This was such a unique and deeply flavorful dish. It was light but flavorful at the same time. SOOO good. We also ordered the chicken satay which was in a delicious sauce - rly good, and crab wontons - good but nothing crazy. For entrees we got the drunken noodles, Thai warrior ribs, khao soi, and panang curry - all good but the khao soi was definitely the highlight. For the record, the spice levels were not bad at all. The ambience is really nice inside. The service was pretty slow, but very kind waiter. I'm sure I'll be back!

Yelp
Upscale Thai restaurant in the Uptown area of Denver. The ambiance is great and clearly well thought out. Can work for date-night or a birthday dinner with great Instagram-able backdrops. They also have a great patio seating area that I can imagine will be well used in the summer months. The food was OK but not stand out at the prices charged and the quantity was a bit disappointing. We went for lunch and the portions were tiny for only a few dollars less that the dinner price. I left hungry and had 2nd lunch a little later. The service was fantastic, a caveat was that we were the only table eating lunch that day so they were not busy and devote full attention to our group.

Yelp
I've always been obsessed with Thai food, but I'll admit that I've kept it pretty basic. My go-to has usually been Pad Thai with chicken (medium spicy, of course) or a Panang curry. And while I stand by both, I finally expanded my Thai food horizons thanks to a visit to SomDee and a fantastic waiter with even better recommendations. Let's just say: a) I broadened my Thai food knowledge b) I had an incredible meal c) I now know there's a world beyond Pad Thai (but yes, I still ordered it too) So let's dig in: What we tried: Triple Treats - Crab wontons, pork egg rolls, and veggie pot stickers Shrimp Jungle Jam - Flat rice noodles wrapped with red onion, carrots, and basil, topped with grilled colossal shrimp, spicy sauce, crispy onions, chili oil, microgreens, and mint Lamai Pad Thai - Stir-fried rice noodles with chicken, egg, sprouts, green onion, and a lemongrass-kaffir lime twist Shrimp Khao Soi - Egg noodles in a creamy yellow coconut curry with crispy noodle topping, fried onions, cilantro, and lime Thai Tea - Classic, rich, and refreshing Pink Sway, Pink Slay - White wine, vodka, lime, strawberry, lychee, and rose Big Sister - Mi Campo Tequila, watermelon fruitful, soka empirical, and lime juice Best bites & sips: The Shrimp Jungle Jam absolutely stole the show as it was spicy, layered, and unlike anything I've had before. The Lamai Pad Thai was also a standout, with that lemongrass twist taking it up a notch. And the Khao Soi? Creamy, comforting, and super flavorful. I seriously can't wait to go back and try even more!

Yelp
First off, the food is pretty good. It's spacious and there's plenty of street parking you can find for free. This is definitely a fancier Thai restaurant. Once the sun goes down, the ambience does too and it gets dark and lightly lit. Service was pretty quick and friendly. Everything we got was pretty tasty. The Thai iced tea wasn't overly sweet so I like it. Each dish was presented so beautifully. The dishes were pretty flavorful. It came out with more food than I had expected. You could easily eat a dish on your own or you can order a couple dishes and share. The dessert was pretty good too. The sticky mango rice wasn't super sweet so a light dessert. Overall, this is a solid Thai restaurant if you're craving for Thai a you're in the area.

Yelp
Had a great time at Som Dee! The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Loved the Drunken Noodles and the Green Curry! Also enjoyed the overall restaurant vibe, decorations, and lighting. So happy this restaurant made its way to the 17th st neighborhood!!

Yelp
I made a reservation here for friday, august fifteenth 2025. And when we showed up, this was on the door. I understand that things happen and i'm not saying that having a water issue is the problem, the problem is still allowing guests to make reservations when they closed your restaurant down 3 days before My reservation was supposed to happen. They shouldn't have been taking reservations. Anymore luckily we went to the pho shop across the service it was great and the food and the drinks were even better.

Yelp
Have been to Som Dee a couple times now. Love it. Great modern thai spot here in Denver. Their wings are delicious. Their larb is refreshing. And, their chicken satay is savory and uniquely presented. Also, have tried their khao soy and its delicious. It is on the pricier side, but offers great fishes and even better cocktails. Loved every drink I'ce had here especially the one with chai in it and a toasted chocolate.

Yelp
New favorite discovery -- top one of 2025 so far! Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, lit up with shining gold Thai chandeliers -- but the food and drinks are fire! And the service is all so nice! - Thai iced tea is my obsession, and they have a cocktail version! - Super creative and tasty cocktails and mocktails - I'd come back for the spicy papaya salad alone The chicken satay is unbelievably tender and juicy, full of yummy lemongrass, and what a presentation! - Love the spicy Tom Yum soup -- especially for winter - The Ka Pao (Spicy Basil) was a surprise table favorite, with the runny egg and spicy beef laarb I've already made my next date night reservation -- so you know I loved it!
google avatar

Kimberly K.

Yelp
They have really nicely done decor and lighting. The service was great and multiple servers jumping in to help and walking around enough to catch their attention. The chicken satay was over a little flamed pot which was very neat. The thicker peanut sauce was a tad cold which cooled down the satay but the flavors were good. Had added beef for our noodle dishes and think the beef upset our stomachs and created a lot of gas which was not good for sleeping. It did taste good but it wasn't ideal. Kind of a simple and small menu. But it had the typical Thai dishes. Medium did have a bit of a kick to it.

Yelp
New restaurant in my neighborhood! It was packed and we sat at the bar. It was the bartender's first day and it did feel like he needed to get his feet under him a bit but looking forward to them settling in. Food was great although expensive. I got the drunken noodles + appetizer plate + Tom tum soup + two beers and it came out to $100. We got the spiciest level for the drunken noodles and it definitely had a solid kick. I'm not sure if it's worth the price point but I'd recommend checking it out if you're in the area! I love Thai food and here's definitely a better one.

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant. I came with a group of six early on a Sunday evening and it wasn't too busy. I loved the great cocktail presentations! We ordered a variety of food and it was all good.

Yelp
We grabbed takeout from Som Dee Thai Kitchen and Bar and loved the vibe as soon as we walked in. The hostess was super friendly and welcoming, and even just picking up our order, we could tell the restaurant has a great atmosphere--modern, stylish, and with a very cool-looking bar. We're already planning to come back and dine in. The food was on the pricier side, but it was good and hit the spot for thai. That said, we would've loved a bit more heat, so next time we'll probably ask for it spicier. Looking forward to trying more from the menu!

Yelp
I've been anxiously awaiting Som Dee's opening in the Uptown space previously occupied by Patxi's, and the wait is at long last over. The interior has been given a sexy new vibe, and it's clear there has been a lot of attention given to the details, from the lighting and wallpaper, to the table setting and service items. It looks like it will be a fun place for a stylish dinner out, and the price point reflects that vibe as well (read: this is not an inexpensive takeout joint). The menu includes some interesting riffs, as well as the usual favorites. They're currently operating a lunch service, with a limited selection of certain entree items that are served with a small appetizer (potstickers or salad) for $18. I tried the Pad Thai with tofu and side salad, along with an order of Crab Cheese Rangoons and Thai tea. The food arrived in fairly short order (I was the only patron at the time, but a couple more tables were occupied thereafter). The rangoons featured black pepper, a touch I haven't experienced before, and were perfectly fried. The Pad Thai was sweeter than I tend to like mine, though probably on par with a lot of local preparations, and I liked how it beautifully featured the accompaniments, including some rarely seen garlic chives. All in all, looking forward to checking out Som Dee more in the future.

Yelp
This review is for delivery. :) It's been challenging to find an awesome Thai restaurant in Denver, CO, after returning to my hometown, after 20-years away, spending 5+ years in the San Francisco Bay Area/Silicon Valley, and 10+ years in Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C., where there is ample Asian food in both SF & DC. I found another Thai restaurant I loved, but they sadly don't deliver, so Thai comfort food is not that comfortable, driving to pick-up. Also, they're closing in May, sadly. Enter Som Dee Thai Kitchen, saving the day, and delivering!! Woohoo! I ordered my classic litmus test last night: Shrimp Pad Thai + Chicken Pad See Ew, and both were delicious. Highly recommend, and will definitely be ordering again soon!

Really great service great ambience, and the Koi Soy is phenomenal. I would definitely return.

Yelp
We went last night for my birthday dinner and omg was it fantastic! First off I loved the vibe with the music - they were playing Odesza and other EDM vibey music. The decor was fantastic and the logo is so cool. The staff was so friendly and nice as well. We ordered the crab cheese Rangoons and the calamari - both were incredible. I really like that the crab Rangoons were the typical shape, made it easier to eat. The calamari came with a wonderful sauce and was just perfect. You could order your spiciness levels on the dishes which was nice because I don't enjoy very spicy. My husband had the spaghetti scallops and I had the Khao soi with coconut shrimp. The spaghetti shrimp was a unique blend of Thai and Italian flavors. My husband enjoyed it. The Khao soi reminded me of my trip to Thailand. The broth was so flavorful and delicious!! I loved it! I ordered mild and it had a tiny bit of heat to it. I loved the presentation on it but I thought the raw onions weren't small enough/kinda weird. The coconut shrimp could have been more coconutty but it was still delicious.

Yelp
Beautiful decore. Great atmosphere. Wonderful service. The food, although a tad spicy for me, was yummy. I tried Thai tea, which was cold, but tasty.

Yelp
Great experience all around. I took a friend to lunch for his birthday. He had pad Thai with tofu and I had pad see ew, along with veggie egg rolls. I subbed peanut sauce for sweet and sour. OMG was that sauce good. We both opted for the veggie dumplings as our side. I did not like them. They were kind of hard and dry, with too much onion for my taste. The birthday boy did like them so he ate mine too. Service was very attentive. Their lunch menu is very reasonable. 10/10 will go again. And again.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was great. Ambiance was nice and was clean. For appetizers we ordered the chicken potstickers and the crab cheese wontons. Potstickers were the smallest we've ever had and seemed like they were reheated. The crab cheese wontons were very pretty. About half way through them, I realized that I hadn't tasted the crab yet. I peeled the last 2 open and not one smidge of crab to be found. Zero. I thought maybe the menu had just said cheese wontons and I was mistaken about them being crab. I've never heard of that but always a possibility I guess. (When the check came, it did say crab cheese wontons)....very disappointing. For the entrees, we ordered crispy chicken khoa soi and drunken noodles, both with heat level- hot. Khoa soi was very tasty, maybe a medium level hot though, definitely not hot. It looked very pretty also. The drunken noodles looked good, tasted ok. Again, a small portion and disappointing flavor. No depth of flavor, very one note. Now, here are the things that we will remember about this restaurant. We were asked about if we wanted the apps before the meal, to which we said we had no preference. After the server took our order, it was less than 2 minutes when our apps arrived. Super fast. Super not hot, just warm. Bummer. One bite in to our apps, our entrees arrived. This was at most 4 minutes from the time we ordered. Again, not hot, warm at best. We were left feeling that our meals were not prepared fresh. Here's another interesting point. We tried this restaurant for Denver Restaurant week. The meal for Restaurant Week was $55 per person. We added up the items on the special and it was more expensive to order that than just order the same dishes from the regular menu. I think this restaurant missed the point of Restaurant Week. Or I am confused.... I thought Restaurant Week was about having a great special menu at a fair price so new people would be likely to come in and experience the restaurant. It was good food, on the spendy side which we expected from a fine dining experience. We drove 2 hours total to get to/from the restaurant. We were finished eating or meal in under 30 minutes. Normally that would be fine.... but not at a fine dining restaurant.

Yelp
Som Dee was phenomenal. Everything we ordered was so fresh and flavorful-- the best way I can describe it is that everything tasted like I had pregamed with a weed gummy, but I hadn't. Stone cold sober this was some of the most delicious food I've had in Denver. We had - papaya salad - best we've had in CO and we have tried a lot - heatwave shrimp - to die for - tom yum fried rice - very good but strong keffir lime leaf flavor so make sure you're into that if ordering - steak - also to die for, especially with the dipping sauce The cocktails were good (I had the big sister which tasted like a watermelon jolly rancher). I would love to see some more variety in the cocktail offerings, maybe some that use ingredients like lime leaves or lemongrass. I'm sure they will continue to add to their drink list as it's still a new restaurant. All in all, the service was perfection, the vibe was warm, elevated and unpretentious, and the food was incredible. We will be back soon!

Yelp
Delicious food gorgeous ambiance. Service is swell - but you might try noting any dietary restrictions when booking your reservation in advance. A romantic date spot; not suitable for cheap eats!

Yelp
I was blown away by the gorgeous space. The gold chandeliers were stunning. The food was also incredible. We enjoyed several appetizers including the satay and dumplings. I had the Khao Soi with crab and the medium was the perfect spice for me. Our server was very friendly and had great recommendations.

Yelp
Ambiance- when you enter the restaurant, you immediately see that it is not anything like a typical American style Asian food restaurant. It is elegantly appointed with a comfortable, slightly romantic ambience; while not being too dark so that you can't see the food or who you're talking to. Although there is a bar, it doesn't overshadow the dining experience of the restaurant. There is seating available inside and outside, which is nice . We were there on a Thursday and they had live Jazz music playing outside the Restaurant. The hostess was welcoming and the online reservation system worked perfectly. They accommodated our reservation even though we were 15 minutes late. Service- The service was excellent; plenty of staff to meet our needs. The server and support staff were very attentive, providing water and drinks without hesitation. The busser cleared our dishes as soon as we completed each course; yet we didn't feel distracted or overwhelmed. Our server was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The service was very fast but flowed perfectly with each course. Food- the star of the evening. Full of flavor, with sweet and savory melding together in harmony. Every dish was a visual delight. Wonderful blend of Thai spices, citrus and heat to amp up your palate. There was nothing ordinary about the food. It was prepared with mindfulness of detail and taste. My dinner guest commented on the perfect use of cinnamon and other spices creating a delicious flavor sensation he had never experienced before. My dish was a citrus extravaganza over a crunchy, fresh salmon salad. Overall, the best money I've spent on dining in a long time.

Yelp
Som Dee is the absolute best Thai restaurant in Denver. The food is delicious, staff is wonderful, and ambiance is beautiful. I frequent the restaurant often and love trying everything. The pad Thai is delicious and so are the chicken skewers. The sticky mango rice and Thai coconut ice cream desserts are unmatched. Let's not forget the cocktails! So impressive! It's definitely worth trying!

This restaurant looks good in pictures, the reality was very different. Eaten at many Thai restaurants around Denver, by far this was the worst. Service was not good. Apart from the initial offer of drinks no further drinks were offered. The appetizers tasted like something you'd buy in the frozen section of Soopers and then throw in a deep fryer. The calamari was plain awful. My entree was a curry, it did not taste like a curry at all and was so overly salty it was not edible. The only good dish was the mango mousse desert. All up more than $200 for 3 people - low grade food, low grade service - the place might be ok for a drink and the ambience, but there's plenty of better Thai offerings in Denver.

Yelp
Som Dee is legit. I'll go so far as to say this is very likely the best Thai spot in Denver (trust me I'm an expert) albeit pretty upscale and consequently a little spendy. Aside from that, atmosphere...top notch. Service...excellent. Food quality, taste, etc...dayum!. Whatever sauce they're serving with their shrimp appetizer had me in my feels. They should honestly bottle and sell it cuz I'd buy it by the gallon. If you don't enjoy this place then you're clueless as to what good Thai food is

Yelp
So my wife and I were looking for some Thai while we were in town and decided to check this place out. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm smile and a very cozy atmosphere. We ordered drinks and for starters we had the grandmas wings. These wings were perfectly cooked and were seasoned well! we then had the Thai Fried Rice as well as the drunken noodles. When I tell you the flavors were popping and caused my soul to dance. This was one of the highlights of our trip and we will be back next time we come

Yelp
Myself and two others ate here for lunch today and right away were taken back by the beautiful ambience. We live a block and a half away and being in here reminds us of the pizza place that was here before, but they've done a good job on making it their own. Currently they have lunch specials from 11 AM to 3 PM or you can get one of four or five entrées with either a side salad or some potstickers. The prices here are a little high and the lunch special runs $18. I didn't have a cocktail but looking through the drink menu they look to have a good wine selection and some very interesting cocktails. The service is an attentive and friendly. For three lunch specials, including tip and no drinks ran $70.

Yelp
Food was really amazing! Service was way below par. We almost walked out after waiting 10-15 minutes to see anyone arrive at our table and yes, we had a reservation. Water, or a simple "sorry folks we will be with your shortly" was not offered in that time while we waited. (We also had to ask for water multiple times during the meal which is unacceptable in the hot month of June.) Once they realized we were not happy we did get slightly better service but it still was not great. When the server came to offer us our check she walked away empty handed while we sat in front of a table FULL of empty plates and silverware. No server should ever leave a table empty handed when there is something that could be removed. They did mention that they were short staffed, but I did not see ANY hustle or attempt to make up for their shortcomings. I have decades of experience in the service/restaurant industry and found this situation to be frustrating and lackluster. If they can get someone to manage the staff and provide great service, this could be a great restaurant. But no one wants to pay $30+ for a dish that doesn't come with a water refill, dish cleanup, or generally decent service. I expect better and deserve better for a $200 meal for 4 people.

Yelp
I have been here a few times since they opened and every single visit has gotten better than the last! The heatwave shrimp are the best thing on the menu. Also cannot get enough of the crispy chicken kao soi! This is definitely an amazing, upscale spot to check out for date night! The bartender makes some great cocktails, the service is outstanding, and the manager made us feel welcomed and checked in to see how we were doing (especially since they were newly opened, you could tell they were eager to make sure everything was on point)

Yelp
Quality LAMAI Pad Thai. It was on the sweeter side but I like things that way. I know my photo is pretty terrible, however the taste of this was very good and the veggies were fresh. The only downside to this dish is the lack of depth. This plate cost $21 dollars and was on the smaller end of portion sizes. It filled me up perfectly but for $21 I would Hope for a few more bites. Overall good experience. Service was good and fast. I would come back to try other items.

Yelp
The food was good but the portions were quite small. Some dishes weren't served hot, and we had to ask for them to be reheated. Aside from that, the flavors were great, and the ambiance was lovely.

Yelp
We dined in at this place after receiving good reviews from other restaurant owners and managers. When we first tried to dine in the restaurant was closed due to lack of hot water on 8/12 until 8/27 by the health department. Our reservation was on 8/17 booked on 8/13. Why did they not stop reservations no clue. They also sent an email that they were closed 1 hour before our reservation which no one received. We went to pho bar accross the street. 10/10 recommend. Decided to come back tonight 8/31. Service was crap. Horrible service from the start. Long wait times servers didn't know who was serving who. Food wasn't great. The server walked away With our $30 appetizers which we were not finished with when the entrees came out. When I asked for the recommendations to pad Thai Mallory said they had 2 different tastes. Cool. I tried one in search of the best pad Thai in town since Tommy's Thai is closing (by far the best pad Thai!). Wasn't a huge fan. After 20 min she finally came back and checked on us. I asked if I could try the other pad Thai (willing to pay for both) which she replied let me see. When she came back she said she's make my food to go and quickly as my partner had finished eating way earlier as she never checked in on us. 15 min later she asked if I wanted to order anything else. ??? I did order with you. I said again I would like to try the Lamai pad Thai instead. She replied No with nothing else to add. I got the ka Pao instead and it was severely disappointing. Looked like an appetizer of lettuce wraps. Also I ordered the rum Thai tea which does not mention coconut on the menu (I am allergic) and was served with coconut. My partner drank the drink as she never came back to check. For $200 spent between 2 people PLEASE save your money and try somewhere else.

Yelp
Read the story on the owner, her restaurant/family history and local reviews yesterday. Knew I HAD to try the food soon. Happened to be near downtown after 1:30PM today, and decided to swing by for take out - to get home in time for the Bronco game. Beautiful ambiance, lighting, bar and overall space! They do not offer a lighter/alternative weekend lunch menu, so did not want the main course items for a late lunch. So I decided upon: 1) Veggie Egg Rolls 2) Chicken Pot Stickers 3) Tom Kha Chicken Soup Firstly....the 'sweet sauce & sweet soy sauce' for 1 & 2, was barely....and I do mean barely!! 1/8th" deep in the container. Hence, you could NOT pour any over these items on a plate, you had to dab carefully to grab a bit of sauce when eating a bite. Had to finish the last egg roll w/out sauce, as it depleted quickly. Both had a nice flavor, but were normal. Consumer Translation: As if.........filling the cup half way would really cost the restaurant a profit margin. ** 5 items in each serving is JUST enough for 1 person - would not advise splitting between two people unless you got a 3rd appetizer. Secondly....Both these appetizers were UNremarkable. A nice flavor, no real or any distinct flavors, yet no taste unique to this restaurants ingredient approach to Thai food. Sadly.....very much tasted like any Thai or Chinese food location offering the same exact appetizers. #3 - I swoooon for original, home made, family recipe Tom Kha soup. The lemongrass & galangal flavors needed more prominence and the fresh green scallion tips that should float near the top....were NON-existent. My biggest issue was the chicken. After the coconut soup flavor goes down, the chicken was just DRY! Chew, taste & flavor! Finished my soup, left out eating a huge portion of chicken. Suggestion: Barely cook these thin slices to pink, yet put them on the grill for a 1 minute final searing before dropping them into the soup. To be fair.....given all the great reviews of the main courses/noodle dishes, I will go back! But.....if you cannot make the basic's....the appetizers w/palate compelling flavors so that one is now craving the main courses' arrival.....then that is a food brand dis-service. And maybe I should have tried 3 other appetizers instead? (next time) But for $45 (w/a to-go-tip) not a bang for my bucks.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this beautiful space when visiting our loved one at Saint Joseph's hospital. We went back everyday during our visit. We cannot recommend this place enough! We have had so many things on the menu and loved everything! The girl boss owner shared her story on how it came to be and we fell in love with the place even more. Great prices and great service!!! We will be relocating to Denver soon and you will find me there often! Tawni and Chad Bare!

Yelp
Our first time dining here and we loved it! Hostess was so friendly and kind. Our waitress helped us to choose our entrees and we both left with happy taste buds and bellies! The ribs were so tender and delicious. The Khao Soi with coconut shrimp was amazing. I can't wait to go back! My cocktail was so yummy, too! Highly recomme

Yelp
Definitely date worthy! The ambiance is absolutely lovely - dark wood, intricately carved lights, large comfy boothes. The servers were friendly and professional. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully plated. I especially recommend the Tom Kha soup and the coconut ice cream/sticky rice for dessert.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fabulous. Pretty upscale, but not overdone. Nice addition to 17th Avenue. I'll be back for sure,

Yelp
I am an addict to this Thai restaurant.I have not tasted Thai food this good since our long ago trip to Thailand. This was our 5th visit in two weeks. It's big, surprisingly, and the brass lanterns throughout the restaurant created a beautiful environment. They had them made in Thailand. The service is attentive but it's the kitchen that gets my Kudos.
