"Praised as a hospitality-driven neighborhood bar run by co-owners Jessica Baesler and Graham Files, whom the pair call “incredible.” The owners are close industry friends; Siccardi notes they’re frequent visitors who often end up sampling the menu. Favorite items mentioned include the celery salad (“every time, so good”) and chips and dip (“every time, so good”)." - Thom Hilton

"Someday is their regular meeting place and is described as always super comfy." - Thom Hilton

"It was one of those June Saturdays where the weather couldn’t decide if it was summer yet, and I was in the mood for something cozy — plus, we had friends in town so wanted to impress. Luckily, Someday never disappoints. The Vermouth Preparado is just a touch sweeter (perhaps a touch creamier?) than a negroni, but the anchovy stuffed olive garnish levels it up to a near perfect cocktail. The food at Someday is really the star of the show: White beans bathed in savory, lemony, herby butter. A strawberry fennel salad that I initially resisted ordering but was thrust upon me by our companions and I’m so glad it was. Beef tartare served with crunchy endives and crusty bread. There were so many good bites it’s impossible to pick just one." - Eater Staff

"I found that veteran bartenders Jessica Baesler and Graham Files are launching a collaborative event series at a chic Division Street cocktail bar called Someday; they say that before Someday ever became a reality they wanted the bar to be a place to host friends and industry folks who inspire them. Brooklyn-based chef Christine Lau will be the series’ first guest, serving Chinese American dishes a la carte on November 29 and 30 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; reservations are available via Tock and bar seating will be available for walk-ins." - Janey Wong

"A brick-and-mortar cocktail bar that shares a lot and courtyard with Alley Mezza off Division, Someday posted a picture of a labneh dish on Instagram in late October that triggered public criticism from Alley Mezza's owner for creating competition with an Arab neighbor; Alley Mezza asserts Someday had previously served hummus and muhammara at private events. Someday owners Jessica Baesler and Graham Files responded to Eater saying the labneh post was tied to the Someday chef's lineage and that "the courtyard is an ecosystem; we have never viewed our neighbors as competition," later issuing a now-deleted Instagram apology acknowledging hurt and saying they were actively learning from the community while also contesting that they alone were responsible for Alley Mezza's closure and noting attempts to engage directly with Khaled." - Waz Wu
