"While other regional Thai cuisines are represented, intensely flavoured Isan dishes from north-eastern Thailand dominate the menu at this cosy eatery in the busy Si Lom neighbourhood. The big draw is the famous Som Tam (Thai papaya salad), which can be served ‘Isan style’ (with fermented fish) or ‘Thai style’ (without fermented fish) – along with a variety of other topping options. The brand has expanded over the years and now has other branches in New York City, Tokyo and Taipei." - Michelin Inspector

Such a nice place with michelin granted. The food was nice, delicious, has many options to choose. The staff were friendly, and I can use my credit card for paying without charging any fee instead of cash. Highly recommend

Unassuming little place I'd walked past a few times and thought it was more of a bar than a restaurant and I'm glad I stopped to investigate their food options. I ordered the deep fried pork neck with papaya salad and noodles and it was absolutely delicious. Meat was succulent but crunchy and the salad spicy and juicy with all those beautiful fresh Thai flavours all mopped up with the noodles. It's probably a 4.5/5 and I would highly recommend this and probably some of their other dishes.

A Michelin-recognized restaurant with surprisingly reasonable prices. The food is served quickly and tastes good, even if not extraordinary. The staff is exceptionally friendly and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

This place was amazing! I didn't know it had michelin stars before going, I just thought the menu sounded yummy, but they definitely deserve them! I had isan style noodles with egg and pork cracklings and also creamy tom yum soup. So delicious!! The restaurant has two levels and an outdoor patio so there is plenty of seats. The staff is so kind as well. Highly recommend!

A Michelin-recognized restaurant with a great variety of somtum and other Thai dishes. The service was good, and the food was tasty — though be warned, it’s quite spicy even if you ask for just a little and the egg is verry salted! Portions are generous, and the atmosphere is lively but comfortable. A solid spot to experience authentic Isaan flavors.

Go here for excellent Thai food at very reasonable prices. The flavors are spot on. The atmosphere and service were great also. We went twice and loved it each time, our favorite restaurant this trip.

5/5 — A fiery, flavor-packed first night in Bangkok! We kicked off our Bangkok trip with dinner at Som Tum Der and it set the bar very high. The food had a proper flaming kick to it — bold, spicy, and exactly what we hoped for. Every dish brought something unique to the table, from the grilled meats to the papaya salad. Ice-cold beers kept the heat in check, and the staff were warm, attentive, and happy to help us pick through the menu. We ended up ordering way more than planned — and not a single regret. Everything slapped. Must-tries: • Papaya salad (obviously) • Grilled beef with dipping sauce Highly recommend for a fun, full-flavored dinner. Definitely a 5/5.

The shrimp sashimi has a good flavor but the shrimp is soft and has a bad texture, not as good as I ate before The rest is great love fresh herbs and veggies served with meal the papaya salad, finally a restaurant that served sticky rice , the pork skew coconut marinated is great!!! Will come back
