The 11 Best Places To Eat & Drink Near LA Live, Crypto Arena, & LA Convention Center - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Sonoritas, an upscale taqueria with DTLA and Sawtelle locations, does two things well: serve some of the best flour tortillas in town, then use them to wrap excellent burritos filled with things like grilled salmon, shrimp, and even grilled filet mignon if you’re feeling fancy. The tacos here are good, too, but not all are created equal. The Sonoran-style asada is best, just make sure to get them on the imported flour tortillas over the corn ones. If you’re here before an event, grab a table in their spacious dining room and sip a hibiscus margarita before heading across the street to LA Live." - Nikko Duren, Brant Cox, Sylvio Martins

Sonoritas Review - Sawtelle - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Sonoritas, which has a location in West LA on Sawtelle and another in DTLA, does two things very well: serve some of the best flour tortillas in town, then use them to wrap excellent burritos filled with things like grilled salmon, shrimp, and even grilled filet mignon if you’re feeling fancy. Google
this is my go to spot when I am craving Mexican that is not a taco truck. even though every time i come something is different , the half pound m & t is so good every time. the hibiscus margaritas tasted a bit different this time but i hope it was just a one time thing, they’re usually more fresh. but it was still good. i have to shout out horace who has been here each time i have come back and i finally asked for his name. friendly, fast, and welcoming , what amazing service each time.

Google
The tacos were delicious overall. The chicken was a bit on the salty side, but still flavorful. I ordered the taco sampler with filet mignon, shrimp, and rib tacos—each one had its own unique flavor and was enjoyable. The guacamole was especially fresh and paired well with everything. Service was quick and efficient, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this spot and would gladly come back again.

Google
We were surprised by how much we enjoyed this restaurant! It's in a very touristy area so we were not expecting it to be so friendly and welcoming. Our server, ⭐Eliza, was wonderful. She was full of positive energy 🌞and we adored her. The food was delicious 😋 and freshly prepared... The prices were very fair... And the atmosphere was bright and pleasant. My son and I got the barbecue burrito 🌯and we loved it. It was a delicious blend of sweet and spicy. Great spot for lunch in DTLA. 🌇

Google
Living in the area, I was looking for a nearby spot for Mexican food, and I’m so happy I found this place just a short walk away! The ordering process was simple, the food was amazing, and the staff were really friendly. My boyfriend had the Mar y Tierra bowl and loved how all the flavors blended together. I tried the vegetarian enchiladas, and they tasted homemade and were delicious. The guacamole and chips were flavorful and really tied the meal together. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Wonderful experience all around! The food was incredible, drinks were great and the service...absolutely top notch! Joshua, the manager, was costumer focused and made our visit very enjoyable. As visitors we appreciated his recommendations for local stops and things to do. Our server, Mario, made our visit smooth, enjoyable and easy. Also, if you're looking for a local place to try some new Tequilas...you just found it! Greatvnews...they offer flights! We will for sure visit here again during our stay and make it a solid recommendation for anyone visiting LA!

Google
The food and drinks were great! We ordered the burrito (Mar y Tierra with beef and shrimp- dry, and the Mar y Tierra 2.0 with filet mignon and lobster-wet) and tacos (bbq short rib, shrimp, and barbacoa- this was my favorite). The meat was cooked to perfection and the flavor was really well balanced. For drinks we had the sparkling sangria, Jamaica mojito, hibiscus margarita with mezcal. For dessert we had the flan which had a great taste and consistency (not too sweet). The staff was very warm and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant was very romantic by the bar (it had a speakeasy feel to it). It’s def a good place for date night or drinks and dinner with coworkers. When you’re there ask for Josh, he’s amazing!

Google
Cool place with plenty of options and appropriate prices! Even if it took a while for us to be greeted, we were served very quickly and politely. We ordered some nachos to share and 2 burritos (tbh they were pretty big so I’d share them). Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Did not have the opportunity to try anything from the bar, but will make sure to do so next time.

Google
I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the service. The place itself is super chill to lounge. We sat ate and hung out for about 4 hours and had a great time. We left cause it was closing. Closes at 8pm. The drinks were very good, and the rib eye tacos and asada quesadillas on corn tortilla were delish. It's definitely worth the stop. Meter parking is available right out front. Cool place to watch the games while enjoying good food and good drinks.

Yelp
My friend and I tried Sonoritas before a concert last night. The food was really good and the drinks were too! We split a Tierra y mar bowl, a small guacamole, and a small chicken quesadilla. Everything was super tasty and it was the perfect amount of food for two (if not a bit too much). The classic margaritas and the hibiscus margaritas were soooo good. It was a bit pricey for what it was, but overall would come back!

Yelp
I can never properly establish a relationship with this restaurant. Every time I return, they've changed systems and/or seating arrangements, usually for the worse. On top of that, I rarely understand their hours. They seems to be opened and closed at random. Whether that is reality or not remains to be seen, but that is my perception. The weird scenario of ordering at the register and sitting down, then coming back up every time you need another drink or sauce feels like the service is lacking. That said, the food has been hit or miss, and the drinks mostly miss. Two stars.

Yelp
I've been wanting to eat at this restaurant for a while since I have walked passed it so many times. The time my friends and I decided to eat here, I was pretty disappointed with the food. The food was pretty whitewashed. Not a lot of flavoring. The food was prepare and served beautifully. The only taco that I actually enjoyed was the BBQ short rib taco! The restaurant was beautifully decorated. Service was pretty fast. I prefer going to El Cholo across the street!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice decor and I presume it's busier at night especially during the work week but as a non Angeleno this ain't it. The menu is only QR code so no pics and a very limited menu. The staff was helpful and nice which is rare these days. It looks like a sit down service but it's actually order and sit type. Plates are about $20-$28 for teeny Tiny tacos. Why 2 stars ? The $4 mini asada taco meat was the exact same as the $9 'filet mignon' one. I would recommend the corn tortilla ínstrad wf of the flour.

Yelp
Cute outdoor seating tho it was order at the counter which I am not sure if all locations are like that; pretty sure it is not as I think I have been to a Playa Vista location maybe. The guac was not spicy and tasted more like mashed avocado. You get free chips & salsa. Got tacos which were good/fine. Service was good! Will have to try other items on menu! Excited to come back.

Yelp
I've been to Sonoritas other location as well but this location is my favorite. Their drinks are always soo good. I recently ordered their cucumber margarita and it was soooo good I almost ordered another. My bf enjoyed their cucumber agua fresca as well. I ordered the surf and turf burrito which I enjoyed and I think it has good flavor. I like ambiance of this location. I will definitely be returning when I'm in the area again. (Of course in La parking is never the best..street parking ) the would probably be the only downside but other then that it's a good spot.

Yelp
Tasty burritos and tacos. The photos with the bits of protein nestled in a dollop of guac at the opening of the burrito is a bit of a gimmick, and i'm here for it. That little extra effort makes the glutton in me very happy. And I will add that that first bite of burrito is extra good with that little topping.

Yelp
If you don't want to eat at the LA Convention Center, walk a few blocks east to the Sonoritas. We had the lunch special burritos and a serving of tortillas chips and salsa. Our meal was delicious! The shrimps were huge and carne asada with guacamole superb! I'll certainly be back if coming early to a Laker game, LA Live or the LACC.
google avatar

Brandon B.

Yelp
Stopped at this pretty setting before our concert. Drinks were delicious! Great service. Taco sampler was my favorite, the asada meat was the most delicious thing on my plate. The rice was my least favorite.

Yelp
Great spot down the street from LA Live to stop for some upscale tacos and burritos before game or a concert. They bring a complimentary basket of chips and salsa. Salsa was flavorful but mild, there was no kick at all. For an additional appetizer we ordered the Queso fundido w/ carne asada. It comes with three small tortillas and lots of chunks of asada with each scoop of cheese. I also used the chips to eat the Queso. I wanted to try the tortilla soup. It's a thick, heavy soup (not creamy) filled with cabbage, tomatoes and tortilla strips. For dinner, we shared the Mar y Tierra Burrito. It's filled with angus beef, spicy shrimp, guacamole, rice, beans & pico de gallo. The chipotle mayo addition to the burrito gave it a great smokiness. There was a lot of meat in each bite. The hostess stand is a little confusing. The sign says come in and check in. When we got there there was no one at the first desk/stand looking place. We continued to walk in because there was no one to greet us. We walked through the next set of "doors" and a server made eye contact and sat us at a table. No harm, no foul, just a little confusing for us rule followers. I was on my way to a Clipper game so I parked in the El Cholo lot and jay walked across the street (here I'm a non-rule follower for convenience ). There's some metered parking on the street right out front but be sure to read the signs...it's L.A.

Yelp
They've recently remodeled the restaurant to have a secondary air conditioned dining area, in addition to the main room and the patio. It's no longer a full-service restaurant and you order at the counter and they give you a number. The menu is the same with lots of options from tacos, burritos, bowls, and enchiladas. They also have a lot of drink options as well, including Mexican sodas and margaritas.

Yelp
Why is this red/orange chicken? Everything was so bland (no seasoning). I spent 23 dollars- Why? I didn't like at all. Consistency is needed so badly here.

Yelp
Amazing service with very friendly staff and the ambiance and food are amazing!! I've done catering events through them and would highly recommend them.
google avatar

Lee N.

Yelp
The service is was okay. You are asked to order first at the bar and the food is brought out afterwards. I think this is an ideal place if you wanted time alone or with friends where the servers leave you in peace. The food wasn't bad. I ordered a taco and an enchilada plate. The meal came with chips and salsa. The chips were seasoned and salty but paired well with the salsa. The rib eye taco was excellent. It was well cooked but not over cooked. The cheese enchiladas were good, but the rice was a bit dry. Adding the salsa to the rice helps. The pinto beans were average. Overall a good meal with nice ambiance.

Yelp
Very delicious and loved the sure n turf burrito! Their rice is yummy! The carne asada taco was good and I loved the corn tortilla. I will definitely order again! The service was good.

Yelp
My bf and I came here for dinner before a Clippers-Mavs playoff game. It was our first time here. In terms of location it is very convenient to the Crypto.com arena. As another review stated, the entry can feel misleading because if the outside is empty it feels like the business isn't open. When we walked in further we were able to find more people and grab a table. The atmosphere was alive and thriving as there were many groups of Clipper fans and others enjoying themselves. We got the hibiscus margaritas and they were absolutely delicious. Would definitely order again. The food was a little meh. The meat in the tacos all tasted juicy, but there wasn't much flavor to go with it. I think I liked the chicken taco the best, but it could still have a bit more flavor to it. The chips and salsa were fine - not the best I've had, but not awful either. If we were to come back I'd want to try some of their other foods. Maybe a burrito would be better? At the very least the margaritas were good.

Yelp
Spacious restaurant and bar, with ample portions and competitive DTLA prices. Came here on recommendation of a few friends who claim they have the best burritos. It's high praise given LA's competitive mexican food scene. In my opinion, the California burrito I tried (over $20, by the way) was alright but nothing to write home about. It's easily two portions though, so I can't really complain. The others in my group tried a quesadilla and some tacos, and they also felt lukewarm about the taste, calling it fairly average. They do give you some nice crispy chips and salsa as a complimentary starter and I thought these were above average. Tasted fresh. While I wouldn't go out of my way to stop by again, it's a convenient spot close to Crypto Arena and other DTLA venues. A bit dark inside. Service was a bit disorganized. Our server clocked out while we were in the middle of dinner, and a new person took over who didn't pay much attention to us. We waited so long for our check that we ended up just going up to the bar and asking to pay it, where we learned that the staff had no idea we hadn't paid already... I guess we could've just walked out! (I would never do this and I'm not advocating for it at all.) If you need a bite in a pinch in DTLA and don't mind spending at least $20 a person, before drinks and tip, on some tacos or a burrito, this is definitely an option.

Yelp
Sonoritas in downtown Los Angeles was a great find for us. We were craving Mexican cuisine and decided to give Sonoritas a shot based on the good reviews and their extensive menu. We made a reservation just in case, and we were promptly seated -- it didn't look too busy though, so we might've been fine without one. The restaurant's lively atmosphere set the perfect mood for a dinner for two. To kick off my meal, I ordered a hibiscus margarita, and it was delicious and beautifully garnished. For my main course, I went for the al pastor bowl. The flavors were fantastic, and the meat was incredibly tender. Every element in the bowl went together perfectly. If you're in the mood for a low-key dining experience with great food and drinks, Sonoritas is definitely the place to be!
google avatar

Juliana T.

Yelp
This is one of my go to spots when I am craving a burrito. My go to is their mar y Tiera burrito. It includes carne asada and shrimp with rice, beans, guacamole and cheese. It's also gigantic and enough for two meals. I also like their habanero salsa which has a spicy but flavorful kick.
google avatar

Haasith S.

Yelp
Have seen this place multitude of times on Instagram but finally got to try it and boy I wasn't disappointed! Their burritos and tacos have so much customizability! Their nacho chips had seasoning Pros: very customizable for burritos, I added a chile verde inside of burrito and change Mar y Tierra burrito to Mar y pollo burrito Cons: service took a bit long Price: 4.5/5 Value: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Taste: 5/5
google avatar

Carlo G.

Yelp
The best thing about this place was the service. The server was very nice and attentive. The food was okay, just too expensive for decent Mexican food. I got the asada quesadilla and it was good, but it was a bit too salty and there was too many chunks of fat that I wasn't the biggest fan of. I liked the complimentary chips and salsa better. The interior was good, there were good options for outside, inside and bar seating.

Alyssa E.

Yelp
Service was great. Nice atmosphere. Loved the lighting. Food was good. Will be back again.
google avatar

Jordynn B.

Yelp
First time here with a group of camping friends and I loved it! The restaurant was very spacious and colorful. The chips were seasoned lightly for the chips and salsa. Never seen that before. They have a huge karaoke room that pans to the outside. 2 TV's, inside / outside, and you can order at the bar or they can come to you. The general manager is friendly and accommodating! I got the Al pastor and shrimp burrito that they cut in half so perfectly. It was very juicy and nicely sized shrimp! Metered parking or lots that are $10-15
google avatar

Yelp
This location of Sonoritas is absolutely amazing. The interior is super sophisticated and lovely. I always get the chicken burrito because... if you've never had it here... is one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. It has mayo in it. Sounds crazy but it works. It is big, decadent and AMAZING. The chips and salsa are also insane. I LOVE everything about Sonoritas. Note, the Sawtelle location is way more casual and doesn't resemble this location at all. Still good but I highly recommend this location.
google avatar

Madeleine W.

Yelp
Delicious food! I really wanted the shrimp but they didn't have any at the time, so I settled for the asada. Also very good!
google avatar

Yelp
Joana Best server first time and I had a good experience surf and turf ....... Great prices get the chips with no extra salt.
google avatar

Yelp
I actually had no idea about Sonoritas until I started coming to almost every Laker playoff game and exhausted all my usual food spots. Helps that it's on Flower St. right next to 11th! Well, if you're going to be a Mexican restaurant in some seriously prime real estate, then I'm gonna order something other than tacos. Decided to order seafood skillet melt, which essentially was shrimp and scallops based in with cheese, and added some carne asada on top. Oh it was so good. Ingredients were fresh and the presentation was great. As far as food quality, it was exactly what I was hoping for. Minor downside for me was that the portion size was smaller than I was hoping for, but that's about it. Service was fine, no complaints from me. Definitely worth coming back if I'm going to a Laker game and want Mexican food. Not sure I would go out of my way for it.
google avatar

Yelp
Came by today on a recommendation by my sister. Glad i did. I ordered the Mar y Tierra burrito. Man was this delicious! Meat and shrimp was cooked perfectly! I usually dont get rice on my burritos but did this time. Rice was soft and fluffy. Overall this burrito was great! Joshua the manager and our waitress provided us with great service and a bit of history on the place. He mentioned the flour tortillas are brought from Sonora and the corn tortillas are hand made in house. I saw someone's fajita plate and it looked really good. I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Located right in the heart of bustling Sawtelle, Sonoritas Prime Tacos truly is a gem amongst the breadth of Asian cuisines that line Sawtelle. The Mar y Tierra (Surf n' Turf) Burrito was, hands down, one of the best burritos I've ever had. The angus beef was soft, tender, and flavorful, miles above the beef quality one would typically expect from a burrito. Additionally, the spicy shrimp was perfectly grilled and juicy to the bite, serving as an excellent complement to the beef. Tying everything together are generous portions of guacamole, cheese, pico de gallo, and Chipotle Mayo that complete the burrito to deliver you a Mexican meal you won't regret! I just got the burrito to-go but the service was quick and painless and they had my burrito ready in no time.
google avatar

V B.

Yelp
Good burrito, it would be great if the burritos had as much guacamole that's depicted in their official photos. The amount of guac I got equated to about one tablespoon scoop. Picture makes it seem as if was 2 to 3 tablespoons of guac. To the owner, keep it real by living up to the photos you posted. . If you need to increase the price to have as much guac that's in photos, do it! I know I know, just add extra guac.
google avatar

Yvonne S.

Yelp
Sonoritas Prime Tacos stands as a unique blend of restaurant and bar/lounge, offering delicious Mexican cuisine and luscious cocktails. The establishment's approachable pricing and vast selection of delicious tacos, burritos, bowls, seafood, and more, make it a go-to for anyone looking to infuse their palate with very enjoyable dishes. Not only is the food amazing, but the ambiance and service truly blew us away! Our server Horace was such a delight! He was extremely vibrant, enthusiastic, and eager to assist our large party of 16. He provided us with an overview of the menu, gave some favorable suggestions on what to order, and he even recommended cocktail pairing options to go with our choices (I absolutely loved that)! His service was most definitely a 10/10!! If you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend the Mar y Tierra burrito. The combination of the angus beef with spicy shrimp was chef's kiss. I paired it with the mouthwatering Pina Colada Margarita, and I couldn't get enough of it. Most people in our group ordered the burrito, but we also tried a few appetizers, taco plates, seafood dishes, and more. All in all, we had a great time at this restaurant and I look forward to returning once again.

Yelp
Henry's Take, Takes L.A.! Part 4 I must admit that having the benefit of traveling up here from San Diego didn't prompt me to long for some good Mexican food during this visit. It's not that I doubted that good places also exist here, it's just that the San Diego region enjoys an embarrassment of riches when it comes to great Mexican food so I just wasn't expecting to be uniquely impressed. Having said that, I found myself being truly inspired by Sonoritas - DTLA. Easily walking distance from Crypto Arena, L.A. Live, and the Microsoft Theater, you can enjoy those places AND this one wherever your adventures may take you. It's been years since I've enjoyed guacamole as good as this! Sure, the guac itself was light, fresh, and loaded with flavor (as it should be), but it was the addition of the pepita seeds (pumpkin) that shifted my world off its axis and onto a new and daring orbit. If you're also a guac fan then you already know that each exemplary offering deserves a complimentary amigo and with the Tajin adorning their chips they certainly proved to be friends indeed. After I had determined to sample their taco trio plate, a Review Team Member suggested that I adjust my thinking and sample one of their burritos because of their quality and presentation. I accepted that sage advice and called an audible at the line of scrimmage just prior to placing my order. Although the menu didn't state that my "Chicken Burrito" featured marinated chicken, there's absolutely no way that it wasn't. It was just too good to be anything less than that. Subscribe to the theory that "less is more?" Well that certainly applies here. No fancy name, no obscure ingredients. Just wholesome goodness that will cause this location to be permanently etched into your mind. No need to remember the GPS coordinates. Your taste buds will find their way back here for a return visit without any technological assistance. Make no mistake about it, San Diego is still the King, but it's comforting to learn that a neighboring fiefdom of similar quality exists. And that's...Henry's Take. #lamexicanfood

Yelp
Overall there was good service, the music was pretty loud but the restaurant was empty when we went around 2. After it started to pick up we got our food & it was pretty good! The chicken bowl was solid, margarita was tasty as well.

Yelp
Went to Sonoritas for dinner before a game at Crypto. We waited about 5 minutes to be greeted by the server but once we were seated, they quickly served complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the Mar y Tierra burrito. While the flavor was okay, the cook and quality of the beef and shrimp were good. The burrito was filling but left room to have dessert later at the game. Service was great and efficient and since it's a close walk to the arena, we had plenty of time to get to our seats.

Yelp
Place was great. Picked it somewhat randomly while in town and it was worth the little drive and $10 parking nearby. Burrito presentation was A+, staff was great, place was clean and had a great vibe.

Yelp
I came across this place on Instagram and by the looks on their page they looked very popular. I recently went with my boyfriend on a Saturday at noon. The place was pretty empty so we got seated pretty quick. It is beautiful inside and our server was attentive. I ordered a mimosa and the bartender told me they were out of champagne. This was a bummer. The chips that came with the salsa were not fresh . I ordered a bowl and my boyfriend ordered some tacos, the plates just didn't look nor tasted fresh. I won't be coming back. It is a bit on the pricey side and it's not really good. Wish my experience was different but unfortunately it wasn't good for

Yelp
I've been to this establishment in the past just in a different location. I was excited to have the food once again since it's been a while since I've gone back. Let me start by saying that the waitress was super friendly but unfortunately, the food was mediocre, especially for the price. The chips and salsa that were outbrought first, well the chips were stale. We ordered the enchilada and the chicken which was cut into big chunks and should've been in strips tasted like meat that came out of a TV dinner. Their signature Mar y Tierra burrito and tacos didn't live up to the hype I remember the food at the Sawtelle location being fresher and tasting much better. The DTLA location has a bigger space so waiting for a seat might not be much of an issue but, to be honest, I don't mind waiting an hour for food as long as it lives up to my expectations.

Yelp
Food: We tried this place for the first time, and it was amazing. We had the Queso fundido as an appetizer which came with 3 tasty flour tortillas which were very tasty. They also give you a basket of chips with delicious salsa! We tried the asada burrito with the cheese stuffed pepper which was a great addition to the flavor; we also had the Mar y Tierra burrito which comes with steak and shrimp and it was good, but the Lengua burrito was a game changer! The lengua was so tender and delicious that I will be coming back to this place just to eat this. Service: From the moment you walk into the place they welcome you very friendly, and the service and the interactions with everyone working there were great, super friendly, and attentive to the table's needs during the whole dining experience. Ambiance: The place is very cute and nicely decorated with colorful art and details, Also they have first come first serve parking, which for the area that a huge plus. Highly recommend this place, and I'm looking forward to going back soon.

Yelp
Dtla! Cute spot near the staples to grab a quick drink & food. The drinks were excellent & they have a cute outdoor patio. I definitely will be back to grab dinner and check out their tacos!

Yelp
MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO is an absolute godsend, best burrito in LA in my opinion. It's a little pricier, but the quality of the steak and shrimp is incredible and the sauce is like CRACK. They used to have LENGUA TACOS that were really good, but I think they stopped making it. You can try TACOS TUMBRAS A TOMAS in Grand Central Market for Lengua.

Yelp
Had a reservation before the Laker game at 5:45. They had no record of my reservation, but seated us in a semi busy inside dining room. We were sitting for at least 20 mins and had to flag someone to come help us. Busy time for limited staff is something I can understand, but to not even engage is not good. This brings me to the food itself. We ordered Queso Fundito, Carne Asada Burrito and the Rosarito Taco plate. Once ordered, food came out quickly. It seemed decent enough, entrees were tasty. The Queso looked weird but it's melted cheese, so we shrugged and went in. Big mistake. Both myself and my dining companion are violently sick with food poisoning today. Diners beware. Any restaurant can have an off day, but between the horrible services and the literal gut bomb food, this place is off my list forever. There are too many solid Mexican spots to waste it on this.

Yelp
Stopped here after ciclavia. The tacos were bomb. Flavorful and bigger then expected. I dont recommend the salad. It looked thrown together and the dressing had a weird taste. Drinks were on point. Service was great and our waitress very helpful.

Yelp
Do not come here if you want to spend money on flavorless unseasoned food. I'd recommend you tip at the end just to make sure you like the food. I got an asada burrito and it tasted weird idk how to explain it but that was not the move at all. All pastor tacos were dry. My friend got her tacos Tijuana style.... Ain't nothing tijuana about those tacos. The only decent thing was the drinks. Can't believe I wasted 40 dollars

Yelp
Pre gaming at this little restaurant is great when coming to Los Angeles crypto or staples as I still call it! My comadre and I came for a lovely dinner and drinks before our much anticipated concert! Loved the ambience. Would love the service to be a little better, drinks came out after our dinner, as we had to remind the waiter about our drinks. Other than that, be prepared to spend as this restaurants items are a bit on the pricey side.

Yelp
Went out for a cute lil lunch, the place it is cute but the food and service it not a vibe. The hibiscus margarita and green salsa is the only thing really good. The asada burrito was weird he did warn me that they put Mayo and recommended spicy (which I got) but it was warm almost cold when I got it and had weird flavor not good just weird. My friend got a cheese bean burrito and it came out I've cold with cheese melted on top for show. And when she asked our server to heat it up (after five minutes of trying to call him) they brought it back so hot it burnt her and fell apart. We didn't even take left overs. Our server was no where to he found (avoided us majority of time.) so disappointed cute place food is just not worth it. Don't recommend it

Yelp
I was attending an event nearby at LA Live and stopped on for dinner. Happy Hour was going on, so was able to enjoy their house margarita for $10 and enjoy their Elote Mexican Corn special $3.95, which I enjoyed every bite - delicious. Also enjoyed their seasoned homemade chips and salsa - the seasoning has a kick to it, but was exactly what I needed after walking around LA (yes I did some LA walking, not many people do) and finished off with the California burrito, which was delicious with the guacamole and lots of steak in it, its enough for 2 people, but I stuffed myself, plus it was my only real meal of the day due to traveling to the west coast. The restaurant was only half full, but you could tell they had a staffing shortage, my waiter was taking care of many tables and did the best he could. I would stop by again enjoyed their food while in the LA Live area
