Finally got to try this place! It was on a regular (somewhat quiet) week night. I tried the Cucumber Vodkarita due to cucumber 🥒 obsession and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Good balance of cucumber, vodka and whatever else in there 🤪 John took pride in making it… John also made the experience that much better - great service and humor. Thanks John!!! The food was good too. Overall- great experience. You’ll see me again 😎

GOOD FOOD NICE SERVICE We dined here I. MAY of 2025. We had no reservations but dropped by for dinner. Got seated almost immediately. It was busy and it looked like one of the favourite restaurants in the area by the locals. The menu has a good selection of food and beverages. The staff is kind and professional. The food tasted fine - regular Mexican food. But I would like to mention that the salsa is really good. That stood out. If nearby - try it out.

Truly excellent in every way, location over looking lake Las Vegas, service from the host to the bar tender, servers, the manager Jordan came and said hello very friendly, polite, professional and happy environment The food is wonderful, tasty, great portions even w the happy hour so much great food! Really good chicken burrito with green sauce. Loved the salsa. Yummy sangria. Mondays are happy hour all day! I sat outside and because I was alone(?)the birds were absolutely obnoxious. So beware of that possibility! Otherwise, fantastic!

Taco Tuesday - Happy Hour. We enjoyed tostadas, chicken taquitos, salsa and chips, shrimp ceviche, and fresh limes. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant is colorful and refreshing inside with a central fountain. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for its beautiful details, friendly staff and authentic Mexican food with fair prices.

Was at the resort walking around and Mexican food sounded really good at the time so we went in and it started off ok our server was great we all ordered beers and mixed drinks then chips and salsa and I ordered some steak to put in the queso dip then I ordered 2 flautas and they came out with sides I told them I didn’t want and the meats I ordered wasn’t inside the flauta like the cook just does what he wants I guess idk I left shorty after that

Lalo was the best… food was great. I had Lalo surprise me with his favorite drink… it got me “Lit” lol 😁🤭 then I ordered another one ☝🏾!

Sonrisa Grill in Lake Las Vegas has a nice atmosphere, but the overall experience was just okay. The food was decent, though nothing memorable. The cocktail de camarones was overpowered by its flavors, masking the freshness of the shrimp. Service was acceptable but could use some improvement in attentiveness and efficiency. With a few tweaks, this place could be much better.

Mayra provided excellent service to my husband and I. The food and the drinks were great. We were seated on the patio where it was quiet, nice weather, and good music was playing. We will definitely be back when we visit Lake Las Vegas again!

We came to Sonrisa after church. 9 people waiting to get in. (103°) They open at 11:00 on Sundays. One of the men waiting in line called the restaurant. (At 11:15) They answered... they told him..They're waiting for the kitchen and the AC wasn't working!! (But yet they didn't come to the door to let everyone know. Hmm Everyone left! We will go back...just somewhat disappointing.

We didn't order much, but what we got was delicious! -my husband was obsessed with the Queso. Loved the view of the water, service was good, not amazing. It would be good if they had an early dining happy hour to help fill in the venue. I'll definitely be coming here again!

We came in for Mother's Day lunch the day before mother's day and the service from MAYRA WAS AMAZING!! There's both inside and outside seating. Inside is very festive, with mariachi music playing. Not too loud that you can't hear each other speak though. Food was DELISH . Chips and salsa was wonderful . Chips perfectly salted!I ordered a shredded beef chimichanga with green sauce on top and a side of guacamole. Another ordered flautas and said they were AMAZING! The cheese and chicken enchiladas I was told were wonderful as well. The rice and beans on the side were seasoned too perfection as well. Lastly.... Don't forget to get your margarita! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and stuff in MAYRA'S section! Provecho/Bon Appetit

This was probably the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I ordered carne asada tacos and got wet lettuce. There was barely any meat in the tacos. They were pulled high with washed soaking wet lettuce and bland tomatoes. The tortillas were drenched in oil. I feel like they soaked them in hot oil to heat them but were icy cold by the time they reached the table. My plate had a river of water and oil. The staff was nice for the most part but seemed upset because we didn't enjoy the nasty food. At this point we didn't order anything else, don't want spit in my food. I would not recommend the food to anyone. The restaurant is obviously beautiful and in such a prime location. Sooo much potential failed.

I firmly believe this is the best restaurant in lake Las Vegas. Love coming here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy excellent Mexican cuisine. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but if you can try your hardest to sit on the outdoor patio. They offer daily specials on drinks, appetizers, and on Tuesday an all you can eat taco course! I went with the enchiladas and opted for one pork and one beef. Everything was so delicious from the refried beans to the complimentary chips and salsa. Definitely worth a try if you are in the Lake Las Vegas area!

This is our favorite spot for good authentic Mexican food. We have came here so many times & the experience is always good with good foods & good customer service especially we came in today & our waitress is Mayra that beautiful girl with a big smile on her face. Highly recommend ! Thank you Mayra for bringing out the best experience for our brunch!

Came here with my fiance and we sat with Mayra. She was very pleasant and friendly. She recommended the birria taco appetizer and it was yummy! You must try it! Ask for Mayra as she will take care of you. Perfect amount of attentiveness and excellent service. We will have to come back as the AC was out. The employees are all still smiling even with the temperature at 86...call me spoiled but I'll be walking around with a mister on my head. Cheers!

We are locals to Lake Las Vegas, and Sonrisa Grill has been a fan favorite of ours for the past three years. It is always a festive atmosphere, with strong, delicious drinks, hearty food with good portions, and a DJ on occasion. The Camerones de mojo de ajo is my absolute favorite, as is the pineapple coconut Mojito. Get there early on the weekends, they fill up quickly. A special shout out to Rosa for making our experience tonight wonderful. Mucho gracias!

1/2 a star....at BEST!! When your teeny-bopper hostesses don't greet your party when walking in, then take your party all the way across the restaurant only to see there's no table, walks you all the way back to the front, and doesn't apologize....you suck! When your hostesses then ask if you want to wait 10 minutes, and you politely say yes, and they take your number and tell you to wait outside....you suck! After 20+ minutes and no texts from your hostesses, and you walk in to a half empty restaurant and question them and their response is it will be 30 more minutes because the kitchen can't catch up so we aren't seating anyone...you suck!!

Rosa was amazing and the food is delicious. Great atmosphere and a wonderful drink list! Margaritas are very good and not overly sweet.

Last minute decision to stop here. Wanted to just hang at Lake Las Vegas for the day and decompress. I was going to drive away from here and eat, but Mexican food is always near and dear to my stomach and a friend said this spot was good. It was super packed, I decided to sit at the bar. It was a sign, please wait to be seated at the bar. I stood and waited. People walked past me(employees) and no one asked me anything initially. I got annoyed and was going to leave but a kind server asked if I had been helped, I said no. He said you are the first person to stand here, I said I know how to follow directions. He sat me in a corner booth right away. My server was cool, efficient but not super friendly but it was busy. I was by myself so I am pretty easy as a customer but that's why they didn't get 5 stars. Service was ehhh. I would return, the food was good. I was starving so I forgot to take pictures.

This is the place you wish existed where you live, but doesn't. The bartenders, staff and patrons are excellent. We laughed, made friends and DRANK!!! It's the place of tequila dreams. Can't wait to come back! Thank you J.R., Georgio and Fluffy, you made it great.

When the salsa and chips are great the rest of the food is even more delicious. I purchased the chimichanga that was packed with cheddar cheese and shredded Chicken and smothered enchilada style in red and green sauce! It truly was amazing and words can not describe the taste of cilantro, green peppers mixed with sour cream and avocado! The outside sitting area over looking the lake and perfect temperature made an amazing day date. I can only imagine what the night time atmosphere looks and feels like! Kudos to the Sonrisa grill team. I highly suggest you trying it when you are looking for an amazing meal and top notch atmosphere! I know I will be going back!!!

As USUAL the food and service was Wonderful!! We were Very happy with our server Rosy and the Wonderful manager Rosa. Great place for lunch dinner and Taco Tuesday. You will Love Lake Las Vegas!!

If you want AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD, and not an excuse for mexican food-then go to Sonrisa Grill. I came here alone but I didn't feel alone. Vanessa and Mayra made sure to personalize my experience by politely showing interest in my life (military). Attended to every need almost immediately. Vanessa seamlessly attended both inside and outside tables. Most people sat outside due to the beautiful view. The inside was saturated in all things valued by Mexico, down to the art and colors. The food tasted fresh, and some of the ingredients were imported directly from Mexico. I had an amazing experience. I came not knowing what to expect and left planning my next return. The staff genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. I'd recommend this place to ANYONE.

This is nice Mexican restaurant basically on the grounds of the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa where I stayed and a Mexican food lunch was what I was feeling. They have a great location with window views of the lake. To start off with the chips were very colorful, exciting and exactly what you'd expect. However the salsa was not as tasty as I'm used to with my salsas. I added some salt and that helped but still not there. In the spirit of a Mexican lunch I got a virgin Bloody Mary ($6.00) and it is one of the best I'm had - just look at the picture of it. For lunch I got 2 cheese enchiladas ($14.95) that came with rice & beans and they were pretty good. The real show stopper was the in-house made flan! ($6.95) Not only was it delicious but this was the most beautiful presentation of flan that I've ever seen. I wish the salsa had that kick that I like, but overall this was a nice restaurant in a great location for a Saturday lunch.

Sonrisa Grill is a great place. Lovely patio with Lake view. The food was delicious and the prices are right. Our server Mayra was always smiling and a joy. She was very attentive to the table and almost needs. Fabulous experience all around. Thank you, Sonrisa Grill!

Sunrisa grill is one of my favorite authentic Mexican restaurants with great prices. So much energy here! I love sitting on the patio especially when the weather is nice. They always have good music playing or a DJ is playing here especially on the weekends. Some of my favorite dishes here are the tacos, enchiladas with the green sauce, tostada salad, tamales, and Camarones Al mojo De Ajo. For dessert you have to try the Flan! It's amazing' For a drink my go to is The sangria it's delicious. If you come during Happy Hour Mon-Thur from 3-6 the Sangria is only $6. On Monday's Happy Hour is all day :) Customer service here is always outstanding!

Wife and I went there tonight, food was great, the service was great, and the music playing was perfect for the environment. Had a really good time and our servers Brandon and Ivanna were awesome and very pleasant! Their Tequila selection was mind blowing! Definitely coming back!

Had dinner there tonight the bartender, Junior, was amazing with his margaritas they were awesome. The environment was fun and food was great.

Always a consistently good experience here...service, food and atmosphere are traditional Mexican. This place has survived for years at a location where most restaurants haven't. There's a reason for that...it's worth the trip!

This is the best food and the staff is so good. I sat at the bar and the bartender was so cool He keeled us lol and made some of the greatest drinks we ever had. Jr i think is his name. I suggest. This spot everytime i go out of the city to oasis vibe. Definitely a date spot, Family time, group chill and vibe. No photo this time but go to there page and see all the photos they have. Every photo is as what you see and even better when you have it in front of you of you. You will be back.

Sonrisa Grill is located in the beautiful city of Lake Las Vegas. You have the option of inside or outside seating. You have a variety of foods to choose from. The drinks are pretty amazing. Service was surprisingly fast. We received our food in less than 20 minutes!

Sonrisa Grill is a vibrant restaurant in Lake Las Vegas with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Usually we show up without reservations and hoping to get a table. Last time we were here we settled for a bar area and surprisingly it was pretty nice. The chairs and tables at the bar are high chairs so if you need a regular table and chair, your options are in the main dining room and the patio area. Service is quick and easy. Waiter was checking on us regularly. We received the complimentary chips and salsa quickly after we sitting down. The corn chips are very colorful. If you are allergic to food dyes, beware! Salsa is very mild, and I loved it, because I don't eat spicy food. My entree, the Chicken Enchiladas with a green sauce was delicious, and not spicy at all, just as the waiter said. Bf ordered the Chicken Chimichanga and it was also delicious. This restaurant has a full liquor bar! If you're looking for Happy Hour, you must arrive before 6 P.M. ! It ends at 6! We really like the vibe here! Service is good and food is delicious!

Stopped by with a party of 8. Seated quickly for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon. I didn't have high expectations but was very pleased with the quality of their foods. We had a Carne Asada Salad , Shrimp Cocktail, Tuna Tartare, Chicken Fajitas, and the three of the kids meals. The soup had avocado and sourcream in it. My kids loved their kids meal. The chicken tenders were surprisingly well done as well. I ordered the house margarita with the coupon I unlocked. It's worth $4.50 (total discount) and it was pretty good for that price. We decided also to pick up the fried ice cream before we left. It was rich and enjoyable.

Decent food ,delicious brans, rice did not taste fresh . Carne asada tacos decent, meats needs more flavor. Service excellent..

Horrible, got the worst food poisoning at this establishment. Had to miss work and everything. Food taste was overly salty and no distinguishing taste. Service was average, water glass they brought was cracked so leaking water all over the table. Still can't get over how bad the food poisoning I had was. This place should have a health inspection.

Food is pretty solid, not as good as Juan's, but solid. The ambiance and patio are great so we go on the regular to relax and have some margaritas. Live music sometimes as well.

The Soneisa Grill is our go-to place when we stay in Lake Las Vegas. Excellent Mexican food with a N extensive menu. We received excellent service from our friendly and attentive server, Mayra. She did a great job..

Food is good Great outdoor seating area. Beautiful view of the lake. Great ambiance. Wonderful place to sit back and sip on an authentic margarita. You really feel transported out of Vegas.

Food is great. We get the chicken fajitas almost every time. House margarita is great and not too expensive, happy hour till 6 pm.

My husband took me here for lunch. We already loved the ambiance of the restaurant when we walked in. The servers were very welcoming and they had smiles on their faces. We walked at the perfect time, we were seated immediately! The table first served with complimentary chips (were so colorful) and salsa. They offer guacamole for additional price. Eager to try their to drinks, and ordered a jalapeno margarita, it didn't disappoint. My husband and i shared the chicken enchalada! It was so delicious! The food was wonderful as well as staff members! The prices were reasonable with yummy drinks! Since, Sonrisa is located at the heart of Lake Las Vegas... You can also enjoy walking around visiting little shops in the village. We will be returning!

We love this grill! We happened to stop by for lunch while riding the bike trail. We checked the menus at several places for lunch. My husband went inside to see the menu. He came out smiling and said, " This is the place." The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and priced very reasonably for Lake Las Vegas. We will definitely be back!

Can't beat Taco Tuesday!! All you can eat tacos!! Rosa kept them coming without delay! Delicious margaritas and beers. The quest dip is a must!! Thank you Rosa for your kind and attentive service!!

Sonrisa Grill was the first restaurant we ate at in the village when arriving for our Lake Las Vegas getaway, and our experience here set a perfect tone for the rest of our stay. The food had all the traditional Mexican flavors we love, including spicy salsa, wholesome tortillas and beans, and flavorful meats. The basket of three types of tortilla chips started the meal off with a five star expectation. And the cantina salsa paired beautifully with them. Sonrisa makes you feel like you're walking right into a traditional atmospheric Mexican restaurant that you'll find in Mexico, right when you walk in the door. Our server Edna greeted us immediately, and was attentive, personable, and friendly throughout. The bell hanging on the side of the front door was a nice touch with a sign to ring it for receiving excellent service. Needless to say, we rang the bell upon leaving. I would highly recommend Sonrisa Grill to anyone looking for some great Mexican food, friendly service, and a relaxing, yet festive, ambience!

Love this restaurant and bar at the Village - Lake Las Vegas. Alberto our server was wonderful, attentive, customer service oriented and he stopped by our table with impeccable timing. I was having trouble picking my entree and he was helpful with suggestions and I loved my entree choice. (that night for dinner and it was delicious for leftover lunch the next day - portions are more than one meal's worth for me!). Thank you to the kind hostess who gave us great/accurate suggestions for when to return and for her kindness while waiting/helping to seat us during a very busy time.

Julie was absolutely amazing. Her service was stellar and the food was so good. We never had to wait for anything and she was here so fast, we forgot what we ordered. We can hardly wait to come back and see her again. Thank you so much Julie. you're the best in the business!

We had dinner here expecting tasty and authentic Mexican food. I ordered a Cadillac Margarita which was good. While our service was excellent, the food was bland and unimaginative. We shared an appetizer of an avocado and chicken wonton which was average in taste but was beautifully plated. My husband had a chicken burrito which was bland at best. He appreciates milder food, but this mild was disappointing. I had the chile relleno. It was soggy and smothered in so much sauce and cheese that the authentic taste was missing. I also asked if there was corn in anything I ordered since I have an allergy to corn. I was told no, but my rice came with corn in it. The atmosphere was pleasant. We sat on the patio and there was music and fun decor. The hostess said that the restaurant is under new management. I hope that the new management focuses on improving the recipes.

Mayra was our server and was awesome!!! I highly recommend the mango noda. The drink was amazing bursting with flavor.
