first time here n LOVED ! cappuccino was yummy, marmite and cheese toasty was great size and really filled. and the service at the hatch was lovely n friendly :) can see they get repeat customers, v wholesome vibes on a saturday morning

My husband and I have been coming to Sons ever since it opened, and it has very easily become our favourite weekend spot in London. The coffee is consistently good, and the sandwiches (our fav is the Classic) are incredible. With the number of times we've visited you would think it's our local spot (not like we travel 40 mins to get here!). LOVE this place and will always recommend to anyone who wants a lil taste of London's cafe culture.

Just finished my first coffee from here and wanted to let you guys know it was delicious! I took a chance on the Nicaraguan filter. Fruity coffee can be hit or miss with me, but it sounded too interesting and the guy who served me said it was really good. He recommended it black and he was right. It was so smooth with the perfect amount of fruit. Going to make sons my new coffee spot when I'm in the area. Also noticed they don't charge for plant milk, as it should be and appreciated! To add following reading the salty three star review below: maybe one vegan toastie option would be good. I think small menus are better, who wants to be overwhelmed? Dead Good do this well by having two vegan and two omni options as an example. But I'll defo try the soup next time I stop and sit as it sounds good!

Everything about this place is lovely! The filter coffee was delicious and such a steal at only £2. The brisket toastie was delicious- I accidentally ate almost all of it though I told my partner we’d share. Wonderfully flavorful tomato soup. All my friends said their drinks were spot on as well. The vibe is also so perfect surrounded by flowers and green space. Best part- the workers were so kind and on top of everything even though they were quite busy. Everything came out quickly and fresh. Highly recommend this wonderful spot!

Have been here almost daily since they opened! Incredible coffee and A+ hospitality! Ran and staffed by a group of caring and kind people. I often pop down when stressed at work, and always leave feeling refreshed and caffeinated. My only minus is that the pastry’s and toasties are so good I’ll, I can never match it in what I try to order elsewhere!!!!! Cheese and leek!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Love you guys!!!

Lovely cafe in a lovely park. Coffee was great, I just wish they had more pastry options. They have plenty of seats for customers. It’s ideal to bring trolleys or babies as well.

Edit: in reply to the owner stating they “clearly displayed” their food service times - I leave a picture of their menu board for readers to decide for themselves if this is the definition of “clearly displayed.” See if you can quickly find this info without the red circle I added. This picture was taken before the review and my visit so if the owner replied back with a different picture it was clearly updated after this review as a response. Advertised as open till 4pm on Saturday. I arrive at 3:04pm and order a toastie. “Sorry, we turned off the grill at 3.” What? Firstly, if you’re open till 4 and the primary food you sell are toasties, why do you stop selling them a full hour before you close? Second, I got there 4 minutes after the grill was supposedly turned off - could it not be turned on again? The way the man said it made it appear that the grill was turned off a while ago and that they couldn’t be bothered to make any more sandwiches. There was no signage to indicate they stop selling toasties a whole hour before they closed - last 15 minutes before closing, sure, I’d understand. But an entire hour? Their sandwich menu was on full display indicating that they were available. I was ravenous and looking forward to trying a sandwich after all the positive reviews but the person just shrugged and I was offered no alternative. Sorry I wasn’t able to telepathically learn the main product you sell isn’t actually for sale despite your cafe being open. Maybe the closing time should change till 3pm. Bad service and false advertising.
