I am writing to share my thoughts on my recent experiences at Sons of Liberty, as constructive feedback can contribute to the improvement of your establishment.
Over time, I've noticed a recurring pattern at Sons of Liberty - a brief stint of satisfaction followed by a return to inconsistency in both portion sizes and cooking quality. While I've always been a fan of the baby back ribs, my recent encounters have left me somewhat disheartened.
Two weeks ago, I ordered the ribs to go and, upon arriving home, discovered that they were unfortunately overcooked. Due to a throbbing sprained ankle, returning to the restaurant was not an option. When I tried to address the issue by calling the manager, I was instructed to call back after 4 pm the next day. Despite my efforts, reaching a manager proved unsuccessful.
Undeterred, today I decided to give the Sons of Liberty another chance recently. However, my second attempt was equally disappointing. The ribs I brought home lacked substantial meat on the bone and had an unappealing taste. What compounded my disappointment was the noticeable increase in price over the last few years - $18 for five overcooked tiny ribs, a significant jump from the previous price of $13, at which I received larger, meatier portions.
As a loyal customer who has genuinely enjoyed the ribs and other items on your menu in the past, I find it challenging to comprehend why both quality and portion sizes are compromised despite the price hikes. While I understand that costs may increase, I believe it's crucial to maintain the standards that initially drew customers like myself to Sons of Liberty.
I share this feedback not as a complaint but as an earnest attempt to contribute to the continuous improvement of your establishment. I have always valued the dining experience at Sons of Liberty, and I hope that my observations can be taken into consideration to enhance the overall quality and consistency of your offerings.
I look forward to the possibility of revisiting the Sons of Liberty after a much-needed break. I'm done for a while.
