"I was alerted that, according to the Alameda County Public Health Department, anyone who visited the Sons of Liberty Alehouse in downtown San Leandro on March 9 between 4:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. could have been exposed to measles. The restaurant posted on Instagram clarifying that the diner in question was exposed but was asymptomatic and did not contract measles at the restaurant, noting their reliance on the community's trust and the importance of accurate information. The health department said the diner had been unaware of the infection at the time, the restaurant will continue to operate as normal, and anyone who was there or in the area during that window should contact their doctors immediately because measles is so contagious that, per the CDC, up to 90 percent of close, unprotected contacts can become infected." - Paolo Bicchieri
