"The Cool Springs New Mexican restaurant offers quadruple the queso options for dipping — but the Sopapilla signature chile con queso is a stellar place to start. The inclusion of Hatch chiles in a piping hot bowl of queso is always a good move, and Southwest transplant Steve Dale incorporates them with a blend of assorted yellow cheeses, house spices, and onion. Other options include queso topped with chipotle shrimp, brisket, or charred kale." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Our first trip to Sopapilla’s. I was told the burger was the best in town. I ordered the brisket burger. It was cooked perfectly but the flavor was a bit bland. I wanted to like it more but it was just average for a restaurant burger. The tacos that my wife ordered were fine but nothing special. It may have been an off day in the kitchen so we’ll try it again sometime. The server was attentive and polite and the atmosphere was nice.

Locally owned and operated, overall pretty good experience. Not very busy for lunch, so would recommend if you're looking for a quick bite. Food is really good, but it is also a little pricey. Not the cheapest Tex Mex in town, but pretty solid quality on the food front. Chips and salsa is also tasty! Check it out if you're on this side of Franklin, but be aware that finding an open parking space could be a little bit of a challenge given its shared location.

First time visiting, and both food and drink were excellent! Server, Bridgette, was top notch… so sweet, attentive and personable! Will definitely return. Not a great photo, but I was busy enjoying!

Es comida mexicana para los gringos, necesita mas sazón 😂 but it’s a nice spot and the food tastes fresh. The wait staff was super friendly. All the drinks my husband and I ordered were great except for the Mojito…Cuba judges you, Sopapilla 😂 But again the other drinks were good. I enjoyed my Paloma y Sangria 🍹

Upon arrival when stepping inside it spelt of underarm sweat, once seated service was okay at that time, chips and salsa came to table, salsa had a bean taste ordered sweet tea to drink, and the El pepe shrimp qasadilla, once food arrived to table it looked good but had a weird sause on it and black beans which isn't listed on the menu. Paid and waited for my Togo sweet tea for a go while then was brought an unsweetened tea. Overall, experience was terrible. Maybe it's a good restaurant for the entitled, uppity styled class people who just kept rolling in.

I lived in New Mexico for about 7 years. I haven’t been back in over a decade. This was an amazing experience, the green chile pork enchilada was authentic, and everything else we tried on my birthday date was fantastic. Eva was a great server and we will definitely be back!

Our go-to’s are the 2 mix and match Dos Tacos- original, shrimp, or Baja fish are our favorites with a premium side of grilled vegetables asparagus, squash, and zucchini. The complimentary hatch salsa and warm tortillas chips are perfect. They have a happy hour 3pm-6pm on the weekdays and you can get guacamole or Queso sauce for only $4. The Santa Fe chicken salad is delicious. Beautiful patio and wonderful waitstaff! As of late, at least at slow times, the consistency of the food varies!

We recently re-located from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Franklin, Tennessee and spotted Sopapilla's Restaurant. The food presentation, food flavors are outstanding!! The cocktail "The Skinny Margarita" was refreshing and delicious. The service is excellent, we were also very impressed when the restaurant owner stopped by our table to talk a bit and to the other guests. That's what I call Southern Hospitality. Sopapilla's Restaurant is now our go to restaurant for Mexican food. My only suggestions: It would be nice to hear background classical spanish guitar music. And a more New Mexican decor. Other than that I love Sopapillas Restaurant!
