Sorrento's Coffee Drive-Thru

Great coffee. Distinct flavor that is always appreciated. Friendly people. Fast drive thru. I love these adorable, cute coffee drive thru places. Especially when they work really hard at offering a coffee that is distinctively delicious.

Super nice coffee shop. Stands out with its antique looks! They have a lot of options on the menu and you can get different flavors of Latte here - Tiramisu, Lavender, Peppermint, Gingerbread, Brown Sugar Cinnamon to name a few. (There are close to 30 different flavors!) The drive-thru queue can get really long and the wait time can get long as well. Walk-Ins are faster by parking your vehicle at the lot. The staffs here are very friendly! The building is super nice :)

Drinks are superb The menu is really extensive, pastries, kolaches (meat, egg, cream cheese), smoothies, and teas also cocoa, cider and bottle beverages; something for everyone. Drive-thru and a walk up window. Service felt a lil rushed, confusion with oredering/terminology 🤔

Employee was very nice from taking my order, collecting the bill, and delivering the drink. The building was easy to maneuver around. Great variety of drinks to choose from. They offer kolaches and Taco Deli tacos as well. And, can't forget to add, my chai was delicious--terrific balance of spice.

best coffee in austin! not only are they fast and super chill but their coffee is SO GOOD! i come almost every day! it’s the highlight of my morning :) love you guys thank you for being awesome

They have so many options for sugar free syrups, I got the English toffee in my hot latte (also have milk alternatives). So good and the service was super quick and the barista was very nice! Also, they have a rewards program!

Loved this place. I read many reviews both good and bad. I always judge a place by their espresso pull and oat milks. No burnt tastes and the oatmilk was creamy and just sweet enough. I went back twice. Will be back when I'm in town again.

We pulled off the highway to get some gas and I wanted to grab a coffee. How lucky that Sorrento Coffee was right by the gas station! This place is a super cute local drive thru/walk up with standard drinks and specialty drinks. I ended up getting a medium iced coffee with oat milk and hazelnut / macadamia nut flavoring. The barista was very friendly and kind. They helped me choose flavors I wanted for my coffee and even asked me if the color of the coffee was ok before they handed it over, asking me to taste it to make sure it was what I wanted. I have gotten so many coffees in my life and am NEVER asked if it looks good before I take it. That really was so sweet. Plus, the coffee tastes great! I am thrilled at our lil happenstance stop at Sorrento.

The service at Sorrento's is great; I ordered a vanilla & oat milk matcha latte and it was so delicious and came out extremely fast! The vanilla syrup they use is amazing and doesn't taste artificial, I love it! This a great option for drive through coffee and the baristas are incredible

Love supporting local! Sorrento's is a teeny tiny drive thru or walk up coffee joint that provides you the most positive customer service experience every time. I'm never disappointed with my coffee here and am fairly pleased with the coffee prices. I look forward to trying an Italian cream soda at some point in the near future! I drove by at 8 on a Friday and the line was short - to my surprise. Typically the line around this place is pretty long. But I will say, they crank out the coffees pretty fast here. Today was my first time trying a pastry and sadly I was not very pleased with it. Not their fault as they're not the bakers (to my knowledge). I'll still be on the hunt for a tasty treat next time. The blueberry muffin was just too dry. I've become a regular on Friday mornings and I'm sure it'll stay this way!

I had the pleasure of stopping for coffee at Sorrento's yesterday afternoon & I cannot express to you enough how obsessed I have been ever since! I had and iced matcha latte with 2 shots of espresso and it was the best thing I have had in a long time! I am a first time matcha drinker and let me just say I am hooked! I believe the barista said your matcha was a little sweet already and it was perfect! Are you able to share what kind of sweetened matcha you use or do you sell it?! I am very Interested. Also, the barista that helped me yesterday was so kind and helpful! I will definitely be back here, at least once a week!

It's amazing I haven't gone here sooner given that this is about 1 mile from my house. I went through the drive-through and was greeted by a very friendly barista. I ordered an oatmilk mocha because it's really cold outside. It is one of the best mochas I've had. The perfect temperature and the perfect amount of chocolate. They also sell other items, including Russell's baked goods. The service was friendly and fast. They also have a walk up window which I'll use in the future. I'll definitely be rolling through there again!

Fantastic coffee - but a bit on the sweet side so be cautious if you're not into that! We got the tiramisu latte with oat milk and the brown sugar cinnamon latte with oat milk. I'll be back and I'll get half sweet :) They also have Russell's baked goods and tacodeli tacoss if you're a fan!

I'm SO glad I found this little gem of a place. Best coffee we have ever had! They made my coffee exactly how I ordered it. Absolutely delicious! I'm impressed. The Kolaches are good. Great customer service. Love that it's a drive-thru! Will definitely be coming back and will be sharing our experience with friends and family.

I ordered a matcha this morning and it was the best matcha I have had in a long time. To whoever made my matcha today 4/18, I hope you live a sweet life, and that no troubles come your way.

First time trying this place after wanting to for so long,, not disappointed at all! The drive thru is so cute and I love all of the flavor options to chose from and the latte I got was very good :) The women who made my coffee was also very nice and fast and answered the questions I had. I will definitely be going back to try all of the fun flavors they have!

One of my favorite places for coffee! Their ice cream with espresso is the perfect treat.. especially now that winter is done.

Outstanding local coffee spot - drive thru only - but do not let that keep you away. They also have a walk-up window the the line is super long. Coffee has a wonderful non-burnt flavor. Lots of milk choices so you can get your latte fix. Super friendly staff - that is quite speedy on completing their barista duties. A big plus is their food offerings from Russell's bakery and TacoDeli (while they last). Sadly, I am not near this location as often as I would like, but when I am close, I make it a point to stop by and get my coffee for the day. PLUS - they have a good loyalty program. Check them out - you will thank me.

This place rules! First I loved that it was a drive thru. Second, one day I ordered all types of breakfast burrito they had, plus the mystery burrito, and they were all genuinely delicious.

Tried for the first time today I'm new to Austin was trying to find a coffee shop near with a drive thru specifically. This place is perfect! The line was really long but as long as you're not in a hurry it goes quick. I'm picky about my coffee even though my order is pretty basic you'd be surprised, but they made my coffee so delicious! I also got the spinach kolache it was yummy. I'll be back for sure.

Very friendly staff and drinks are amazing! Got a cold brew was very smooth. Also, got a sugar free Red Bull cream soda with Irish cream so yummy!

A cute little shack, it was definitely a nice spot for a quick drive thru or pick up. I ordered an iced americano, a bit too acidic for my taste, and a spinach and cheese kolache, which was absolutely amazing.

I love how this is a drive thru coffee run that I can support local! It is the perfect grab and go place, and their coffee is incredible. My go to is the iced lavender latte AND they have vegetarian kolaches which are so hard to find! The spinach and cheese kolache was delicious. If you need a coffee pick me up, I highly recommend visiting here!

We love Sorrento's. You get excellent, friendly service and the lattes are always on point.

Stopped in earlier today on our daily walk with Margo to grab some morning coffee and 2 kolaches: sausage, egg & cheese / bbq brisket - picture a bread ball, but stuffed with all of the above inside it... soooo good!

Great, friendly service and the coffee is fine. Idk where they get their kolaches from, but they used to be great. They changed the dough recipe a few months ago and now they're terrible, borderline inedible. So disappointing.

Visit this coffee shop as soon as possible!! The baristas are so nice and welcoming and there are so many options for allergen friendly food and drinks as well. The chai (hot or iced, both are fantastic) might just be the best chai I have ever had! I got the chai with almond milk and it truly blew my mind! Will definitely be coming back to get the chai again and to try their other options (apple cider in fall time is calling my name!) Thank you Sorrento's!

A coffee joint with drive thru? WINNING! I love having the convenience of staying in your own car when getting coffee, especially in this TX heat! Although they also have a walk-up for those who enjoy this weather (wink). One sunny day in Austin, my husband took me to Sorrento's to try their brew. See, we love trying different coffee shops because we have some sort of Caffeine addiction (like most people do, lol). Sorrento's has a simple menu which I appreciate, since I don't like drowning in options. The espresso they use itself is pretty good (not bitter) after tasting my Hubby's Cortado while I really really enjoyed my dirty Matcha which was made just the way I like it; not too sweet with a hint of Matcha. We got our drinks fairly fast and customer service was good. Overall, I'd choose Sorrento's over Summer Moon which is a block or two away. Because, why? We support small business.. always!

First time trying this place. I appreciate the convenience of the drive through which makes them pretty speedy. I'd say the coffee is 3/5 star quality just because you can't really taste the coffee and I am always fond of a noticeable bean taste. Perhaps it is just because mine had a lot of milk in it. The almond biscotti was good, probably store bought though so nothing special. The coffee here is more affordable than other coffee places.

my entire life i've been hoping to find a local coffee shop that could be my go to.. i am extremely picky with coffee because i don't really like the taste much. well this place turns out to be PERFECT!! they have many different flavor options for coffee, tasty matcha, and chai! the chai is an added bonus because i brought some to my partner and her coworkers and everyone was OBSESSED. on top of everything, the workers here are kind and great at what they do!!! absolutely adore this place.

Wanted to check out this coffee shop so stopped by today late morning, walked in to window, there weren't anyone at the window n just 1 or 2 cars at the drive thru. Ladies at the window was good and service is 5stars. I got tempted by seeing so many syrup flavors, so I got small latte with sugar free Irish cream flavor, oh god! First sip I took, it was like as if i dumped a pack of Splenda in to my mouth, it's sweeter than a dessert and other then sweet I was not able to get any other taste, literally it was drinking like sugar syrup so I got a shot of espresso and mixed it up, but still it couldn't cut down the sweet and it had a after taste, sort of burnt/over extracted, dunno, but it wasn't good, something was wrong with their espresso or atleast I dint like it, it tasted wiered and I couldn't drink. I don't think they make any syrup at the house, when I was waiting for my order could see torani syrups. My husband got coffee, which he liked it, I took a sip and it was good, 4star for coffee, I can't give any star for latte as I couldn't taste any thing other than sweetness. Asked for blueberry scones but they were out so dint try any baked goods. Maybe next time will stick with only coffee. FYI: So if you don't like too much sweet, ask the staff before picking a syrup about the sweetness.

I can't believe I've never been here!!! The amount of times I go to Cabo Bobs and pass by Sorrento's on a daily is crazy! It's very easy to dismiss since it's such a small little shack in the middle of the Cabo Bobs parking lot. BUT do not underestimate it!! I've been super into frappes lately and they have this thing called an Espressocino which is basically a frappe with espresso!! You can choose to add your flavor of choice! They have a BUNCH of flavors, my favorite has been white chocolate!! It tastes like a white chocolate mocha frappe but much much better and the ice is super well blended so it's almost smoothie like. On a weekday morning, the line is always pretty long, guarantee it'll have at least 4 cars at around 8:30am any given weekday. With that being said, you have the option to order in the drive thru or at the window you can walk up to (I suggest this, it's almost a little faster). Since it's a small place, you cannot eat inside , in fact, you're not even allowed inside. They do however, have a table you can sit outside, just 1 I believe. So this place is def a to-go spot. Lastly, they have a rewards system and they give you an actual card!!! The card is $1. After 14 drinks, you get 1 free!!! :). Please go try this place, it's seriously amazing. They also have kolaches & tacos if you happen to want some breakfast!! :) see you there!

Local is better! Don't wait in that long line across the street when you can go through sorrentos drive through and support a local business! I tried the peanut butter banana coffee and would recommend it to anyone looking for something new and fun! They also serve local baked goods.

This place is good - the coffee and service are good. I wouldn't drive way out of my way to stop by, but if I was in the area I'd stop here and skip the Starbucks. I got a caramel macchiato as a treat to myself after a surgical procedure and it was just was I needed. My husband had an oat milk latte and he thought it was pretty decent. I prefer Mazama in Dripping Springs over this place but they're so far apart I'll stop here for sure.

In Austin for a few days and I knew I had to try this place out. Amazing service, great coffee and fantastic kolaches. I'll definitely be back!

I was in the area so I stopped by for some kind of cold blended coffee drink. Sorrento's offers hot & cold beverages as well as some snacks (kolaches, fruit, packaged pastries, etc) through their drive-thru set-up. I decided to try their Espressocino and added White Chocolate Syrup and Whipped Cream (16oz @ $5.14). They were a little busy but the line moved pretty quickly. I thought my drink was good although I do prefer mine with a little more of a granita (icey) consistency. There were several cars in line though so you can tell this is a local favorite.

I have been a loyal Sorrento's customer for many years but the past few times I've been it's been a big let down. The drinks are so overly sweetened even when instructed not to make it sweet. Like to the point it tastes more like a milkshake rather than coffee. My iced coffees end up looking like lattes with the amount of cream added. I don't consider myself a picky person but it's just upsetting when this place has always been so dependable and now I don't even want to finish my drinks from there. I've been burned the last 4 times I've been there.

I love this place! I love the fact that they let you bring your own cup if you want, I love the workers, I love the vibe, such a cute place with very nice workers! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, delicious coffee place!

I got the hot jumping monkey. The drink itself is thick, almost like a thin melted frosty. It's very good. I don't like how they serve it in styrofoam. Really a unique banana flavored coffee. Drive thru or walk up options.

At 3 pm, there is a line of five cars to buy coffee from the drive-up window. No one goes to a drive up coffee window to "hang out at the coffee shop" working on their laptops. They are here for the coffee pure and simple. There is one lady with a shoebox's worth of space who takes care of these people with lightning speed. She is literally the fastest latte maker I have ever seen at work. If they ever make a movie called "Ninja Barista", I know who they could cast. And she is nice and friendly and mellow despite hands that are operating at 700 miles per hour. Another plus about this place is that they have as many syrups as you would find in a snow cone place. I had a Chocolate Milano latte. And yes - it tasted totally like a chocolate milano. Was it the best flavor choice I could have made? Probably not. (The cookie part of a Milano is actually pretty bland.) But it was a lot of fun to do. I generally go to coffee shops to work - So I would not want to take my laptop out to the parking lot in July and work on my computer while it melts. But if you are looking for drive-by coffee - I honestly don't see how you are going to do better than this place. Sorrento's. Don't drive on I-35 without it!

Pretty standard coffee walk up joint, can't say I've ever been blown away by anything I've got here in the last 5 years but they aren't bad either.

My go-to coffee drive through! Their coffee is great and reasonably priced. They have a huge selection of flavors if making customized drinks is your thing. The have multiple non-dairy milk options and lots of delicious snacky foods. Staff is always friendly.

So many flavors to put in your coffee! With choices like root beer, mango, or english toffee There's often a line but it goes very quick If you'd like some coffee, this is a good place to pick!

We LOVE this place! Moving from California we really missed being able to go to Dutch Bros and get mixed energy drinks. So glad we finally found this place! I really like getting the Red Bull Italian Soda and adding flavors in. Definitely stop by here when you're feeling parched!

This woman operation is amazing. She takes orders left and right and makes everything so well! I loooooove the espressochino. It's basically an espresso shake that sweet and refreshing and strong. It's so good that I crave it from time to time. I got their points card, but idk what I'm supposed to be earning. I'm sure I'll find out the more I go lol. Already been four times and I won't stop now! I also like that they're so close to a short stop. I can get my burger and coffee fix in one short trip!!

Not for coffee lovers. If you love sugar and caffeine, then sure. I generally drink black coffee. Drip, americano, or cold brew. Sometimes I'll splurge and order 10oz lattes or cortados. After asking how big their medium cortado was, I was informed that a cortado is half espresso, half steamed milk. Okay, well no duh. A medium is a double shot. Good to know. The medium soy cortado I ordered was undrinkable. So bad I dumped it out before getting back into my car. Thin, bubbly, scorched milk over a double shot of extremely over extracted espresso. I've had better espresso beverages from gas station machines. This place is what it is. A drive thru/window stand not for people to sit, sip and enjoy, but for people who are in a hurry to get a quick sugar high before they sit in traffic for an hour.

When I pulled up, the line was LONG, and the walk up window was busy; but that didn't stop the staff from being super polite and helpful with my coffee order. Not to mention they were super fast and got my coffee out to me in record time. I have a new coffee spot to take everyone for sure.

I needed something to keep me up for a 2 hour evening drive so I googled a coffee shop near by. Not wanting Starbucks, this was the next option. I didn't want coffee so I went for the chai tea latte. The very cool barista expressed her love for their chai tea. When it was finally my turn to judge, let me tell you: IT WAS AWESOME . They put something in that drink that made it like no other. Can't tell. Maybe heavy on the cardamom? Unsure but in no time I was zooming down I35 singing my jams and passing everyone! Thanks Sorrento's

Sorrento's is a standard if you live in this area! Why people choose to wait in line forever at Starbucks directly across the street from here really baffles me. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and typically make my own espresso drinks at home. I generally only drink my espresso/coffee/cold brew black. However, if I'm looking for a weekend treat or looking to shake things up a bit I always come to Sorrento's. You will be shocked by the amount of flavor syrups they have available! They usually have a barista's special which is always something new and unique. Most recently the barista special was a coconut cream pie latte which was delicious. I'm also a big fan of their dirty chai and cold brew. The staff here is always so friendly as well! I frequently have my pup with me and they always offer him a treat. Pro tip: The drive though line can get a bit long (because it's a local favorite!), but they have a walk up window as well which can get you out quicker if the car line is full.

Yeah!!! Delicious coffee, check! Lovely people, check! Frequent flyer card, check! Local goodies from pastries nearby, check! Drive-through so that I don't have to deal with crazy parking or crowded morning shop, check! This has everything I could ever want in a coffee shop. There are a metric poo-ton of add ins that you can put in your coffee. They also are always willing to top off my ice for my yeti water cup. They carry local Russell's pastries. As far as I'm concerned, this is a morning one stop shop.

This is my go to whenever I drive into that area of Austin. A XL latte with Almond syrup and a shot. So hot and tasty and great coffee/espresso flavor. I've had the breakfast tacos and they are fresh and very very good. The service is always fast but not too fast if that makes sense.

I'm not sure how it's so highly rated. I have tried this place a couple of times and the drinks are just not good. The lattes' espresso are tasteless, I would say almost watery. The lattes' milk (I've tried all their non dairy) are over steam. The coffee is so so bitter, and it doesn't have any undertone flavors. I give them 3 stars because the people are nice, the service is fast, and the drive thru is convenient. This place has a lot of potential if technique was reviewed and/or fixed equipment if that's the problem.
