The 30 Best Restaurants in Munich, Germany | Eater

"Oozing cool, Sorry Johnny matches style with sustenance. People are willing to cross town for the cheese scones, French toast with ricotta and jam, or sourdough topped with beetroot, avocado, and hummus. The compact space is dominated by the coffee station, where barista Florian Vogt uses beans from local roaster Merchant & Friends to produce smooth flat whites, espresso tonics, and other creations, all listed in scribbles on the tiles behind the bar. Katrin Brüggemann keeps things running smoothly, and the eponymous Johnny (Johannes Rühl) is in charge of the kitchen." - Kate Mann

One of my favorite brunch spots in Munich. The food is always tasty and the coffee is great. Feels like the kind of place you just want to keep coming back to. Highly recommended!

If this place is not on your to visit list you are missing out !! I can not begin to praise just how amazing this place is. Atmosphere was on point nice music that wasn't too loud and you could talk confortably not having to raise your voice, the 2 gents wear AWESOME hats could not be any nicer absolute gentleman my German was a bit off but the one of the guys smiled and appreciated the effort and said he can do English and translate where I need him to. We had squeezed orange juice which was super fresh ice cold and amazing. Now the best bit the food, OH MY WORD THE FOOD IS PHENOMENAL!! I had the creamed eggs on toast with salmon (the salmon is extra but definitely get it) it was cooked perfectly seasoned beautifully has little mushrooms under the eggs and the bread was fresh thick. My partner had the breakfast burger which again was cooked exceptionally eggs cheese sirracha and avocado it was amazing. We shared what I would say is either on par with the best or the best fresh toast I have EVER had it was nice fresh brioche bread not soggy or stodgy but perfect sugar and cinnamon Overall the experience here was the best I have had in munich

We visited for Sunday brunch and experienced only a brief wait, which was absolutely worth it. We enjoyed their pour-over coffee, an oat milk flat white, fresh-squeezed orange juice, avocado toast, yogurt with granola, and a croissant. Everything was fresh and full of flavor, and the service was top-notch. We will definitely be coming back.

The exquisite charm of the venue, combined with the culinary excellence of the delightful recipes featuring fresh, delicious bread, truly defies description. Also the specialty coffee 🤩. You have to point this place as favorite place

Delicious coffee. The food was good, although nothing terribly special. We had the avocado toast with ricotta and added smoked salmon, as an extra (+4€). Not as much salmon as I would have expect. The service, at least with Ben, was outstanding. He always made sure that we were well taken care off. Big two thumbs up for him. Sorry Johnny has a few tables outside. It is a pity that they have to be next to the bus station.

We were recommended Sorry Johnny and it didn’t disappoint. We went for brunch, food is amazing and the cakes are to die for. If you’re a coffee lover, make sure you add this to your favourites! Mooki our Italian Greyhound was also treated like royalty.
