The Most Iconic Dishes In Philadelphia - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"This Chinatown staple known for xiao long bao is now in a shiny space that’s almost double the size of the original. But the diners' mission remains the same: eat as many chewy, broth-filled soup dumplings as your body can handle. For $11, you get eight perfectly formed pouches. Our advice? The pan-fried spicy pork soup dumplings are just as good as the beloved steamed crab and pork soup version." - alison kessler, candis mclean

My best friend took me to this spot to try Chinese food, and I completely fell in love. Everything was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. My absolute favorites were the 1st Pork Soup Dumplings and the Pan-Fried Pork Buns, juicy, flavorful, and honestly unforgettable. I also tried the Chicken with Broccoli and the Chicken Fried Rice, which felt surprisingly fresh and light, yet still super satisfying. Service was fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly, huge thanks to Amy for her great service, kindness, and willingness to help. And don’t forget to order their tea , it’s the perfect way to round out the meal.

This Chinese restaurant has easily become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving good, reliable Chinese food. Everything I’ve tried here has been solid. The soup dumplings are juicy, flavorful, and well-made — thin skin, plenty of soup, and perfectly seasoned filling. Definitely one of the highlights of the menu. Beyond the xiaolongbao, the rest of the food is just consistently good across the board. Nothing feels rushed or careless; you can tell they pay attention to quality and balance. Portions are generous, flavors are comforting, and everything comes out fresh and hot. It’s the kind of place where you don’t stress too much about what to order because you know it’ll turn out well. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, making it great for both quick meals and sit-down dinners with friends or family. Service has always been smooth and friendly, and food comes out in a reasonable time even when it’s busy. Overall, this is one of those restaurants you keep coming back to because it never disappoints. If you’re looking for a dependable Chinese spot with great xiaolongbao and an overall strong menu, this place should definitely be on your list.

Finding the restaurant is a bit like a treasure hunt. Outdoor signage is limited, and there's no access door directly from the outside. Instead, you have to come inside a larger complex and turn right into two dark hallways before the space opens up to this nearly hidden restaurant space. Inside, the tables are fairly packed in, so when my husband and I came at peak lunch time on a Saturday, nearly every table was occupied with customers. When full, the energy is lively without feeling frenetic, and that's largely thanks to the efficiency of the servers here. Unlike most other restaurants, there isn't any one server assigned to a table, so there was always someone around to help if ever we needed something. It also seemed like someone came by with jugs of hot tea and ice water every five minutes, topping off our glasses as soon as we had a few sips. Plates are brought as soon as they're ready, which helps keep the food fresh and - depending on what you've ordered - the meal into more of a course-like affair. Our soup dumplings with pork were the first and fastest to arrive at our table, clocking in at a mere seven minute wait. Since the name strongly hints at their expertise, it's impossible not to order at least a basket. In fact, when you first sit down, they'll place small plates of ginger shreds as matter-of-factly as they put down water glasses because the presumption is that any one dining here is likely to have soup dumplings. I've had xiao long bao at quite a few spots across the city and Queens, and I found these to be excellent. The dumpling skin was on the thinner side without being so thin that the wrappers burst to soup spillage. There wasn't as much soup inside, but the taste was amazing. We loved the soup dumplings, but we might've liked the beef with string beans even better. The string beans were perfectly cooked with a generous amount of tender beef pieces. This was a conversation-halting entree for us as we both silently fought for last pieces. Our pan fried noodles came last, and I've typically found that this dish takes a little longer in most soup dumpling spots. A layer of crispy, deep-fried noodles are placed under a scalding meat sauce, so that it gently 'cooks' and softens at your table. This was a lighter sauce - both in flavor and in the amount of meat. We ordered one with chicken sauce and felt hard pressed to find the meat. That said, the overall dish was delicious and I loved the contrast of crunchy noodles with the hot, silky sauce. This was our first visit after several friends claimed it as one of their top spots for soup dumplings. Having visited, I can definitely see why. Street parking in the area is limited, but there are a few spots right outside. There are also two adjoining underground complexes with a few free spots in each.

Google
There seems to be always a line but they’re very efficient and move it fast. The pork soup dumplings and the wanton soup are our favorites and they tasted homemade and authentic. The beef scallion pancakes are a hit too oily but flavorful. The jumbo shrimps are really jumbo but a bit too salty. The crispy noodle lobs is good but some are not cracked well to be eaten easily. The meatballs are similar to the Northern Chinese lion’s head meatballs but with a sweeter sauce. Overall, worth it and great food, fast service.

Google
Came here on a Wednesday night. Me and my mom were by the area and looking for something to eat and found this gem! Host was nice and took us to our seats. We were given 2 paper menus to place our orders and 2 menus with pictures of all the dishes which i found is really nice for those that eat with their eyes first lol. Not many restaurants do this anymore. We ordered the spring rolls, scallion pancakes, pork and crab soup dumplings, chicken lomein and shrimp fried rice. Everything was really good, super hot and fresh. It tastes like a chinese grandma made it. The food came in like 5 mins after us ordering. They serve good portions too, we had left overs and our waiter was nice enough to pack it for us. The only downside is that the servers talk too much with each other and make too much noise and don't really pay attention to the customers😫 Also, they didn't explain to us when we came in that we had to order on the paper and they will pass by to pick it up 😂😭. I had to get up from my seat to ask one of the servers to come and take the order. But besides that, the food is amazing so I will definitely be back. ☺😁

Google
The food is authentic, flavorful and homey. The service is fast - our food was served about 15 minutes after we ordered. The baos (pan fried pork buns) were our absolute favorite! Highly recommend trying a wide array of their dishes.

Google
Soup Dumpling Plus was such a great find. Everything felt authentic, super clean, and well-run, and the service was genuinely top-notch. I ordered a fried rice “with everything” (all the meats) and a pork soup dumpling order—the dumplings came 6 per order, very well stuffed, and tasted fresh and comforting. They also kept bringing free tea, and I loved that I could get ginger tea the way I like it. Portions are generous too—the fried rice could easily feed two people, and I had to take some home. My total was around $22, which felt very affordable for the area. Bonus: parking outside is free after 6pm. I’ll definitely be back!

Hollis T.

Google
There isn’t too much to say, but I really enjoyed the dumpling soup—it was flavorful and comforting. The service was impressively fast—sometimes even a little too quick, and the portion sizes felt just right. The menu, however, is a bit limited; it’s not a full Chinese restaurant, nor is it fully dedicated to dumplings or dim sum. Still, I can’t complain—I had a pleasant experience and genuinely enjoyed the food.

Yelp
Fast not patient. Shrimp are great. Portions gargantuan. String beans huge. The place is a little run down but always crowded.

Yelp
Andy was awesome friendly and such a great server. The food is super tasty authentic and amazing. 5 min wait to be seated and like 10 for the food??? INSANE! All staff is welcoming and the ambiance is family friendly.

Yelp
Yes, I will definitely travel to Fort Lee again to eat here. There is a small parking garage that does not fit an SUV with a roof rack. We only waited 5 min on a Sunday at 1pm. By the time we finished there were 15 people outside waiting for a table. My kids might rank this as their favorite restaurant given the fast service. Before they could complain where the food was (usually starts 5 min after ordering), it was being brought out. I don't usually get udon but it was a great choice. Everyone was pleased with the food.

Yelp
Celebrating our family! Our children are engaged! Got to meet our new family! From out of state!! Delicious food! Great company! Don't accept reservations. Street parking or parking lot available! Feed the meters!

Yelp
Came to Soup Dumpling Plus and left seriously impressed. The place is clean, authentic, and the staff is so attentive--the kind of service that makes you want to come back just because they're kind. I ordered the fried rice with everything (all the meats) and the pork soup dumplings. The dumplings were 6 pieces, well-stuffed, and really hit the spot. The fried rice portion was HUGE--two people can easily share it, and I still had leftovers to take home. They also kept offering free tea, and I was able to enjoy plenty of ginger tea, which I loved. Total bill was about $22, which is honestly a steal for the area considering the portion sizes and quality. Also appreciated that street parking is free after 6pm. Highly recommend if you want comforting, authentic soup dumplings and great service.

Yelp
We always order to-go here but this was the first time I sat down to eat here. The food is super fresh and the soup dumplings are so so good! The best I've had in a long time. We ordered the Crab Meat with Tofu and I personally wouldn't order it again because I wasn't a fan of the thick sauce but the portion was very generous. Highly rec the Beef with Chili Pepper if you like spice, the peppers are insaneee

Yelp
I came here for dinner on a busy night, and despite the crowd, our server was quick, attentive, and friendly. The food came out hot and fresh, and everything we ordered was delicious! The pan fried dumplings were definitely the highlight for us as they were perfectly crispy and flavorful. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you get. The chicken noodle soup was a bit on the bland side for me, but nothing a splash of soy sauce couldn't fix. Overall, great service, tasty food, and a place I'd love to come back to and try even more of their dumplings!!

Yelp
Located in Fort Lee, New Jersey, this restaurant is located inside a building that has other restaurants and businesses. Parking is available through the garage, which is located on the bottom floor or through street parking. We got really lucky because we came during the weekend and was able to find parking upon entering the garage. Thankfully, we got seated right away despite it being the weekend. After getting seated, menus were provided along with a paper and pencil to indicate which items we wanted to order. There was a little hiccup with an order we placed, which was the Beef with String Beans, but the staff took care of it right away. The soup dumplings' skin had the right amount of thickness and did't rip as easily when it was lifted from the basket. Everything tasted delicious and there were no complaints. If I'm in the area, I would probably come here again if I'm craving soup dumplings.

Yelp
2.5 stars rounded up because of being a small business. I honestly don't know how this place has 4.4 stars. The food was mediocre at best (some items were just bad), the service was very slow and the atmosphere is like a takeout restaurant rather than a nice and authentic Chinese restaurant. We won't go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Fort Lee, NJ - super busy and chaotic on a weekend, and parking is a biatch. It actually kinda stresses me out to eat here, but if you can brave the crowds and the tight/hard to find parking spots (street or there is also a garage under the restaurant building), the Shanghaiese-Chinese food is authentic and delicious. Love the ease of the dim sum-style menu where you can check off the items you wish to order even as you're waiting to be seated, and hand it to the server the minute your table is ready, to ensure swift delivery of food to fill your already rumbling belly. The namesake soup dumplings are rightfully quite good though not the best I've had. I've enjoyed most things I've tried here so recommend being broad and adventurous in your pickings, and eschew the small selection of ordinary American-Chinese offerings you can get anywhere like beef with broccoli or General Tso's chicken. They turn over tables fast and are eager to get you in and out. The food is great but it's just not a relaxing dining experience unless you come at a slow time like weekdays during the day, hence 4 stars not 5.

Yelp
It's been many years since I've been here but my friends and I were looking to do lunch last weekend and I suggested we go here and we were all thrilled we did. Every item was cooked to perfection and the flavors were great. Service was kind and accurate but rushed. The restaurant is quite small so there will be a wait.

Yelp
Is is the place for dumplings and specialties. And all is very good. The service is exceptional, friendly, warm and caring. The food: a 4 page menu of reasonably priced delicacies. Food comes out piping hot and so delicious. My second time eating here and will come back many more times. The prices on all there items are very fair. The restaurant is very clean and I felt like I was in a Japanese Dumpling House. I will come back anytime I am in this area or a half hour away.

Yelp
I was hanging out with friends who live in North Jersey with access to a car, so naturally I asked if we could hit up some highly rated places in Fort Lee I had in my bookmarks, with Soup Dumpling Plus at the top of this list. While Soup Dumplings are Shanghainese, we were gobsmacked in the middle of Koreatown, so there's Korean hangul on the sign of the building, which looks like a nondescript mall of sorts. Inevitably there will be a line if you go on a weekend, but they run quite the efficient operation. We were handed a ticket with a number on it, which was called about 15 mins after we received it for our party of 4 during peak lunch time on a Saturday. We were guided to a table upstairs, handed a paper menu and pencil and asked to check off everything we wanted. This system is great and they made zero mistakes with our order. Of course we got an order of soup dumplings, and also vegetarian sticky rice dumplings for me, sauteed rice cakes, bok choy, and fried rice for the table. The food came out so fast and the flavors really hit. The prices seem completely fair and you're in and out of that place in the shortest time possible. This place must be printing cash, and they totally deserve it. If you love Chinese food, particularly soup dumplings and fried noodles, Soup Dumpling Plus will sprint around to have you fed in record time. Maybe I could get used to hanging out in jersey.
google avatar

Alan L.

Yelp
The best soup dumplings in Jersey. The service is always quick and on point. I do wish that they were open later until at least 10 pm. The broth in the soup dumplings is super rich and flavorful. Their shredded beef hot pepper noodle soup is also a must try, especially on a cold winter day. Highly recommended
google avatar

Deborah S.

Yelp
Food very exceptional, service as well and also reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. 10/10.

Charlie A.

Yelp
Experience was disappointing. My child accidentally dropped a spoon and it broke. A staff member responded immediately by saying, "don't let kids play with it," which felt unnecessary and condescending. It was clearly an accident, and we don't need to be told how to parent. Food was good but unfortunately, that interaction made the rest of our lunch unenjoyable.
google avatar

Ariel S.

Yelp
The soup dumplings here really hit the spot! The plaza has free parking, which is a nice bonus. Service was very quick. We were handed menus and an ordering sheet as soon as we walked in so we could mark down what we wanted. The food came out in under 10 minutes. I ordered the pork soup dumplings, crab and pork soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings, and scallion pancake. The crab and pork soup dumplings were my favorite because they had the most flavor. I highly recommend trying them! The restaurant was clean, and the staff was attentive with water refills and keeping the table sauces stocked. I would love to come back and try more items on the menu. If you are craving an affordable and delicious dumpling meal, this is the place to go!

Yelp
A friend who enjoys Asian food as much as I do highly recommended that we go to SDP. my son and I arrived at about 8 o'clock on a weeknight and there was a long line. Not to be discouraged we put our name in and the line went surprisingly fast from the moment we were seated to the moment we left the service was fantastic. The servers and the manager were very friendly and attentive. We started with some dim sum, including a scallion roll with beef, pork soup dumplings, pork, and crab soup dumplings. we then ordered sautéed string beans with beef, garlic, sautéed bok choy and the general tsao's chicken. The chicken was pretty standard, but everything else was outstanding. I think this restaurant has some of the best dim sum and Shanghaiese food in Northern New Jersey. We might go back this weekend. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Yelp
Soup Dumpling Plus is unbelievably good and deserves all of the hype. Every year they make the list of Yelp's Top 50 Places to Eat in North Jersey and I can absolutely see why! We ordered a few small plates and I would consider all of them must gets. The signature soup dumplings had the most sweet and flavorful broth. The pork buns were meaty and juicy. Beef scallion pancakes came stuffed with so much beef and the flavor was literally perfect. Sesame cucumber salad added the perfect amount of green and crunch to our sampling. We wanted to keep it light and didn't try any entrees, but everything that came out of the kitchen looked unreal. It's an unassuming spot in an indoor shopping plaza. Walk down a long hallway and you are transported into a bustling restaurant that hardly has any open seats during lunch time. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are fair. I wish I lived closer!
google avatar

Z. R.

Yelp
This is a cozy little place for dim sum, dumplings, and Asian comfort food. The soup dumplings are superior to most. Service is attentive and helpful. Totally worth the visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing place, amazing food. The beef scallion pancakes are INSANELY good: crispy pancake, tender beef, and hoisin sauce
google avatar

Connie K.

Yelp
We came on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch and there were only 1-2 other tables occupied so we were seated immediately. The food also came out quickly. We had the pork soup dumplings, crab and pork soup dumplings, seafood pork dumplings, marinated jellyfish, and scallion pancake. Both soup dumplings were amazing but the crab and pork soup dumplings were the clear favorite. My toddler preferred the scallion pancake and scarfed down most of it. The seafood pork dumplings were decent but pretty standard. Our tea/water was refilled frequently and service was good. Overall, was a great lunch stop and would come back if we were ever back in the area!

Yelp
So glad a local spot is getting the recognition it deserves!! We came on a weekday afternoon to avoid the weekend rush since there's usually a long wait then. Service was great, food was delicious as always. The soup dumplings - both pork and crab - are so delicious and flavorful. The pan fried buns are also perfectly juicy and pair great with the scallion pancake. Cucumber salad was good, maybe I'd have added a little chili crunch but very tasty still. A must try spot for good Chinese dim sum!

Yelp
Took myself out on a date ! Service , portions & ambiance was great ! Soup dumplings were light, flavorful & so delicious Also the sliced beef with hot chilis was to die for ! Highly recommend, will be back !

Yelp
Whoa, food was awesome. Service was awesome. I had the beef and chile soup with thin noodles, peanut chicken, and roasted pork-fried rice. Every person in my party loved everything served at this place. They had Tso's, dumplings, shredded pork-fried rice, crispy noodles etc. I cannot wait to go back, this place raised the bar and now I'll have a hard time enjoying closer Chinese food. Menu lacks descriptions but has English, Chinese and Korean text, which is pretty cool.

Yelp
Soup Dumpling Plus was so good! We were in the area looking for a place to have lunch and decided to try Soup Dumpling Plus. I've had soup dumplings before in the area and this is by far the best place to get your XLB fix! They're located in a little plaza with free parking, if you're able to snag a spot, or can park on the street (meter parking). The staff is super nice & allowed us to bring our dog to eat here for lunch, which I appreciate!! What we ordered: -Crab + pork soup dumplings -Pork soup dumplings -Pan fried pork buns -hot & sour soup (part of lunch menu) -fried rice -beef lo mein -pan fried noodles Everything was really good! I really loved both soup dumplings. Surprisingly, the other food was delicious, as well. I typically don't like ordering anything from places that specialize in soup dumplings, other than soup dumplings, because I find that Shanghainese food is a bit on the blander side (also found this to be the case in Shanghai). However, all of the food was delicious and overall, I had an enjoyable lunch here at Soup Dumpling Plus! Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for yummy Shanghainese food!

Yelp
Its a small packed brightly lite place. We had the soup dumplings, the steam mushroom and veggie buns, pork pan fried buns, the chicken date soup and, beef roll, cold dishes tripe and cucumbers. I will put in the order of what I thought the best was that we had today: chicken date soup, beef roll, cucumbers, soup dumplings, pan fried buns, tripe and then mushroom buns. The soup to me was the best because it was so flavorful the chicken so tender and reminded me of being in flushing ny and getting the herbal chicken soup on a cold day, its comfort food. Will definitely come back again and trying other dishes.

Yelp
Small place that gets crowded very easily!!! Understandably so...this place is a small gem!! The six of us arrived and were seated within 10 minutes. It should be known that they won't seat you until your whole party arrives. The food was amazing!! The crab meat and pork dumplings is a must get!! Ordered a bunch of other dishes that came out very quickly, served hot and was delicious.

Yelp
Came here Saturday around 5 pm. Line was long but moved pretty quick. We were told 20-25 min wait but felt less. Food: We ordered the pork soup dumplings, crab/pork soup dumplings, vegetarian bun with mushrooms, noodles with scallion oil, scallion pancakes, fried breadsticks, and beef udon. Soup dumplings was amazing. I had been craving soup dumplings the whole month and this finally satisfied the craving! The other dishes were ok...not the best. Scallion noodles were a little dry, the vegetarian bun was dense, beef udon, scallian pancake and fried dough was normal. Service: waiters/waitresses were quick, attentive and efficient. No small talk. Ambiance: nice family style restaurant.
google avatar

Taylor Z.

Yelp
Pretty solid Chinese food! The soup dumplings were pretty decent. They're really fast even if there is a line.

Debra H.

Yelp
The food is mostly excellent- no complaints. I was there recently for Dinner with my husband. First thing. our waiter inattentive and left for lunch in the middle of our service. We had to keep asking for our food (has happened before). and everything came out at different times. I finally got my main dish . I had ordered something new -vegetarian. The portion was nice but it had no taste at all. I tried adding soy and dumpling sauce.. I could not eat it . I moved the full plate to the side and waitress came over. I told her It was not what i expected and did not want to take home... she came back and was very engaging also telling us she didn't like this dish either. We thanked her for her understanding and thought she took it off the bill. We were charged. Very poor customer service . So disappointing.

Yelp
Excellent food, fast and friendly service, with a divey atmosphere. Highly recommend the pork soup dumplings, sesame chicken, and egg fried rice!

Yelp
my favorite sit down spot for delicious chinese food! you check in, they give you a menu and a pen to check off your order, and when it's time to seat you they take your paper order & get it started. the food comes out quickly which is always a plus when you're hungry!! huuuge portions!! and seriously the best soup dumplings in the area. i've been going to this restaurant for years, trying different things on the menu, and have never been disappointed. the staff and service are great too

Yelp
I came here on a friend's recommendation for soup dumplings. I got the soup dumplings, and agreed they were good but that was the only thing that was truly good with my meal. I also ordered the Chicken Herbal soup for one, scallion pancakes and garlic bok choy. To my disappointment, the scallion pancake was nothing but dough. There were barely any scallions in the scallion pancakes. The chicken herbal soup also had little to no herbal taste. All I tasted was the salt that barely brought out the essence of the chicken in the soup. The garlic bok choy had no garlic so it turned out to be just a plain sautéed bok choy with oil.

Yelp
Love this place Scallion pancake Soup dumplings Baby bok choy with garlic Nice tea Nice people Booths!

Yelp
I was introduced to this authentic Shanghainese restaurant back in 2017 and have been going ever since. One word I would use to describe it is... BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. Tables are usually filled and there are long lines. Yes, you guessed it - the food is that good AND the prices are reasonable. Now don't be discouraged... wait times can range from 10-30 minutes, but the line moves a lot faster than you think. Every dish I've tried is full of flavor. Nothing is greasy/oily, which is why their food stands out from the usual Chinese take-out places that can sometimes go way too heavy with salt, oil, and sugar. Portions are filling and are big enough to share if you're eating with others. My favorites are: Pork & Crab Soup Dumplings 5/5 - It's in the name of the restaurant itself, so this is a must try! The combination of the broth, meat filling, and soft texture of the dough is just *CHEF'S KISS* General Tso's Chicken 5/5 - This has to be my #1 favorite dish. It's simple, but executed so well. It's the perfect fusion of spicy, tangy, sweet, and savory. Sesame Chicken 5/5 - Another simple dish that is executed well. Can't go wrong. Prices are fair and overall you will get a great value dining here. An appetizer, soup dumplings (6), and a chicken dish (cup of white rice included) usually come out to ~$35. Most items range from $8-$16. Service is quick, efficient, and attentive. Servers make sure to refill your water, give you more napkins, clear your dishes, etc. Y'all already know I'll be back soon!

Yelp
This is one of our go-to Chinese places in Bergen county, and we dine here probably once every month. We always get the soup dumplings, chicken soup, hot and sour soup, a sautéed vegetable dish, and a main dish. Service is fantastic with a very attentive and friendly staff. The decor is not fancy but clean and comfortable - like you'd find in Flushing or Chinatown, one providing authentic Chinese cuisine at a great value. It gets quite busy many nights (especially the weekend) so expect to wait a little if you are going at peak hours.

Yelp
Our food was excellent as always. Delivery was perfect and quick. I Would recommend that if you haven't tried Soup Dumpling Plus order in or try the location.

Yelp
Great food. Quick service. Love that you just get a little piece of paper and check off your order as a girl who loves a good no contact . little hole in the wall in a small mall that got kinda discovered so it gets busier at popular times. Love the food and the vibe and just overall the experience of being here.

Yelp
Truly great Chinese food. The staff is efficient. The food is cooked fresh so takes a bit to come out. Not a large place and can be busy on weekends. Expect a wait. Would love to go back

Yelp
After reading some of the reviews, we decided to give this place a try. They offer lunch specials Mondays through Fridays. We came on a weekend so that option was not available. Food came out pretty quickly. All the dishes were good. The appetizer tofu dish (called Four Happiness) was really good. Service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant is on the second level, above the street level parking. Parking spaces are limited.

Yelp
I never give bad reviews We ordered Chinese for lunch and asked for mustard, soy sauce and duck sauce, not very unusual request. I start eating my food and look what I found, a piece of metal in my food

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times and the place is always packed and loud. Soup dumplings are always ordered and always delicious. The shrimp udon, beef with chili, and hot and spicy fried rice are also really good. I wanted to like the beef noodle soup but the broth lacked flavor and only tasted of the heat from the pepper. Staff are really helpful and service is fairly quick.

Yelp
The food here is AMAZING. Great portions for sharing, delicious. The soup dumplings are some of the best I've had. Service is quick and efficient. I do wish they offered more beverage options but otherwise 10/10. The price here is also unbeatable, ordered like 9 things and spent less that $100.

Yelp
This is my favorite Soup Dumpling spot...and by favorite, I mean the meter stick from which I will measure my past/current/future Soup Dumpling experiences. I've been coming here for 8+ years and ALL of the food here is quality and tasty. Let's start with the Soup Dumplings - the soup is plentiful with delectable umami-ness with perfect skin (just thick enough to hold the soup..."Don't break the skin, amateur!"). The Pan Fried Pork Buns are outstanding - super juicy and perfect with some chili oil. I've had and loved all of their Fried Rice-s - the ingredients are fresh/quality and has good "Wok Breath" (ask your Asian friends what that means). I also like to get the Chicken and Eggplant stir-fry - perfectly cooked umami combos with "Wok Breath". Honestly, I've not been disappointed with anything I've ordered here. This is a great busy neighborhood spot. No rezzies, so come early on the weekends, cuz there'll be a wait. Service is always fast and courteous. Parking is available, but does fill up. The best advice I can give is - Come back often and try everything!
