"South Park Brewing Company, South Park. In 2014 South Park joined the growing list of San Diego neighborhoods with their very own brewery created by none other than Scot Blair, the craft beer aficionado behind San Diego staples Hamilton’s and Monkey Paw. Boasting an impressive list of award-winning beers along with a unique seafood inspired menu and an open communal atmosphere, South Park Brewing Company is a welcome addition to an already thriving neighborhood."

South Park Brewing Co. New Mediterranean Restaurant - Eater San Diego

"South Park Brewing Co’s side kitchen space has a new tenant in place, which just began operations last week, taking over from the previous taco vendor. South Park Kitchen is now cooking up a Mediterranean-style menu based on grilled items, stew bowls, and various salads out of its kitchen alcove inside the 30th Street brewery. Grilled meats range from steak and chicken to lamb, salmon, shrimp, and tuna. Plate meals come with a choice of two sides, from fries and green beans to house salad. Business partner Lorenzo Romagnoli says the menu at South Park Kitchen was developed with the idea of pairing healthier fare with the taproom’s beers, and to offer a general alternative to the commonly-found fried foods featured at many pubs. 'We saw that there were burgers and Italian food places in South Park and wanted to bring something unique. We started to move forward with healthier food and added stews and grilled skewers,' said Romagnoli. 'We want people to combine many menu items with all the different beers.' The eatery is currently in soft opening mode and is expected to begin full operations soon." - Mario A. Cortez

Great location, excellent beers. As a visiting brewer, this was a great first brewery stop on San Diego.

The beer is delicious. First time here. Unfortunately the service wasn't so great. The bartender didn't even greet us. He seemed annoyed. We didn't feel welcomed.

Great beers, and of the many clam chowders I've had lately, this is one of the two best (along with Tiger Tiger) Two single-occupancy restrooms.

I stopped by already a couple of times. Had South Parker sandwich which was OK and Black and blue on two occasions and custom made salmon sandwich. Sandwiches are really great and highly recommended. Tacos look a little skimpy wwhen friend ordered them buy he liked the fish in them. The beer selection is great too. Ordering can take FOREVER so maybe a good idea to have two registers. Really glad this place opened up in the neighborhood.

Didn't get a chance to try any food on this visit. But beers were good. Tried the oyster stout and pale ale and both were quite satisfying. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of the seafood centric food options. We came on a Friday evening and the space was packed, but plenty of room for everyone and service was spot on.

Great prices and very tasty food. I ate the yellowtail bowl with the lemon butter and a bowl of the chowder. The fish well perfectly cooked and the veggies were slightly crispy, the east I like it. The chowder was good but could have been warmer. They also have a bar with beer and wine (hence brewery). I had the flight, which is a sample of 6 of their 8 beers. The stout was my favorite. I will definitely return to this place!

They're good menu has changed drastically for the worse. You can still gets some tasty eats like the poke but it's not the bluewater competitor it used to be. If you want a solid beer at a solid price in a place that is good for a bigger group, this is the spot. The oyster stout remains a staple of my evenings here. The booths and long tables make it easier to manage a group of friends. The staff is always cheery. Keep on keeping on spbc!

Good beer and nice atmosphere. Only problem I had was that I asked to put on the padres game and they said no with no hesitation. Not sure what the deal is but I was forced to watch some weird movie on all of their TVs. No one is watching their TVs so I’m not sure why they wouldn’t put something that a customer wanted to watch. Will start to go to Hamilton’s instead of here for games because they actually have it on TV.
