The Southeast Raleigh YMCA provides a warm and caring environment for any person who may come through those doors. The staff are considerate and very encouraging, making all members feel appreciated and inspired. The facility is well-kept, and programs put together make physical activity pleasurable and easy. I am grateful for how this YMCA unites people and truly invests in the community's well-being.

I’ve grown up on this side of town and to see that there’s a YMCA in Sourheast Raleigh is nothing short of amazing! It creates a great environment for kids and adults to come , meet different people and work on fitness goals. The staff is great and the facility is SUPER clean!

I absolutely love the YMCA. I love their mission for helping their local community, the commitment to a clean, safe space to workout and the staff is PHENEMONAL! prices are very reasonable considering you have access to gyms nationwide.

Using a full side of the court to facilitate youth pickup basketball is inconsiderate. Everyone pays a monthly fee to use the gym, not sure why one goal can't be used to play a pickup game instead of an entire half side of the gym.

I really enjoyed the music, the vendors were friendly and knowledgeable about there products. I even got to network with many of the women entrepreneurs and farmers. The DJ played a great variety of music too. It was hot but it felt good supporting my community of black farmers and entrepreneurs.

I always enjoy this YMCA. It is not to far from home and the staff ⚕️ members are pretty friendly too. Resourceful and engaging. I enjoy the group fitness classes too.

Hey I had a good time, Music and Fresh Fruits and Veggies! Food Trucks! Great Farmers and Venders. I hear it's happening every month but I am not sure how long! I look forward to next month, and all are welcome! Enjoy 😊 Black Farmers Market!

As a mother of two kids with disabilities I thought the pool would be a nice addition to their day. My son with autism is high energy. I would go to ymca at least once a week. Last time I went, there was a female lifeguard doing a private lesson AT THE KIDDIE AREA on a Saturday knowing it’s a busy day and there will be lots of kids around. She brings a bucket full of bubble wands then gets upset when my son comes around when he sees the bubbles. If YOU DONT WANT KIDS AROUND THEN DONT GO TO KIDDIE AREA ESPECIALLY WITH BUCKET OF BUBBLES. it really ticked me off seeing her face honestly. So unprofessional as a lifeguard I wish I knew her name. Next, the ladies that go with the kids are a hit and miss. Some of them are very kind, probably only twice have I met a kind lady all the other times they are stuck up with a face like they have something shoved up their butt. I have been very nice and I’m at the point where I’m done being the nice woman. This ymca has proved to me that although it’s nice looking, the people AND lifeguards are just rude Try me next time

Yelp
The gym is nice and clean. I found the space to be well lit. I encountered Friendly and welcoming staff. I spoke with someone at the front desk about membership offerings. I appreciate the feedback in my search around.

Yelp
Super nice facility, but during peak hours you will wait for 20-30 minutes to use gym equipment because they have limited equipment (also dont have a pec deck fly machine).

Yelp
I'm reporting an employee Maloney Halloway. When first walking in she was making the environment very negative and uncomfortable. Overall she was very unwelcoming when explaining "rules" that we've never had issues with and it felt like she was ridiculing for no reason what so ever. I've never had an experience like this I felt so unsafe!

Yelp
The location is far from where I live, BUT it's well worth the drive. The classes are fun. This YMCA is brand new. The staff is pretty nice & it's connected to a school. That's probably why they don't have a lot of group exercise classes until the evening. I wish they would add MixxedFit to their classes. I did that all the time in VA & I lovvvvve it. They give complimentary towels, so just bring yourself and your water. There's plenty of workout equipment to use & a spacious gym if you play basketball. You will enjoy yourself no matter what you do. Promise!

Yelp
I love the newest YMCA! I go to many of the Triangle YMCA's - Poyner, Alexander, AE Finley and now this one. I think this is a great addition! They do a very good job of keeping it clean; the pool is nice; the class diversity is good. They also did an excellent job this summer due to COVID19 with the outdoor classes. Highly recommend. Also very friendly staff.

Yelp
Definitely the Best Y in Raleigh. Gym is big enough and having a track is better than having to run on the treadmill.

Yelp
The best YMCA in the Triangle Area for me aside from the new one in Cary. Very clean, organized and not to mention the staff who are always ready to help and very friendly. The only downside is that it doesn't have a lot of classes as compared to Alexander YMCA and the one in Cary. But overall we always have a great experience working out in this facility. Thumbs up!

Yelp
