"Since opening in early 2020, Southern Coast Seafood has quickly become a staple in the Arlington neighborhood of Jacksonville. The restaurant gets its fish and shrimp from Mayport to create some of its fan-favorite dishes like the fish club sandwich piled high with house-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a lemon aioli, along with fish tacos where there’s more fish than fillers." - Megan duBois

Worthy of all the praise possible. Excellent food with great prices. Service was incredible. Cassidy was our server and she was awesome. Friendly, efficient, and the perfect hostess.

Unfortunately, the food quality has really gone down, and the prices are high. Ordered fried gator tail as an appetizer. I think it was $14. When the order arrived, it was like 12 small pieces of gator tail. More than a dollar per quarter sized piece. Crazy! They were kind enough to take it back and not charge us. I ordered the Poke Bowl they had listed under their main entrees. Unfortunately, what was served was not edible. The rice (which was advertised as “sticky rice” but absolutely was not) was hard and overcooked. Tasted like it had been sitting out for a while and dried out. The tuna had a strong fishy taste. I was starving but couldn’t continue eating. I’m sure they would have addressed it if I complained but I had already complained about the gator tail and didn’t want to seem difficult. In any case, a bit disappointed because this used to be a really good spot and the past couple times I’ve been have been a let down. Other people in my group also were unsatisfied. Their lane snapper was the only good plate, but it was $32. I understand many restaurants are struggling, but maybe they should take things off the menu if they can’t serve it in a fair proportion or prepared fresh. Value for the money was very poor. Service and atmosphere was nice though.

Google
Saddest seafood “platter” I’ve ever seen. Fish was small, thin, dry, and insanely salty. Collards were hot and delicious and were subbed for fries. That’s why two stars instead of one. Coleslaw was dry. Restaurant smelled weird. Service was just ok.

We are visiting from out of town! We live where you can good seafood...looking for a place close to where we are staying...found this place on line ..wow we found our place! Blackened Scallops were the best since Morro Bay! The drinks were great! And our server Hailey A was so fun and personable! She literally is the best in Jacksonville and honestly in most places we live! I think we would come back there just to have her again! But then you add the Amazing food and you have hit the jackpot. Only one small downside there was a guy at bar using the f word rather loud and it does not bother us but I did see kids near by and there parents didn't look like they appreciated it..so keep it down or go to a bar without families dining ....but Hailey your the best!

Just left. Food was decent. Service was poor. Our waitress was more interested in serving a large party than bringing our check and bringing our to go dessert. She brought blackened shrimp instead of fried. How do you get blackened when someone says fried? On top of that one dinner was cold when they bought back the correct order. Very poor service.

Google
This is a great seafood restaurant where the locals go. The food is so fresh and delicious! Truly a hidden gem.

Google
This was my first time eating at the establishment. The server was was very polite and friendly. The wings were delicious. The portion size was good. I tasted the shrimp and calamari was okay. The greens were a bit salty and greasy. It took about 30-40 minutes to get our food.

Jamie

Google
We ordered the fried calamari starter. It was delicious- light and not chewy. Our server, Amanda, was excellent! She kept an eye on us and anticipated our needs. We each got the seafood platter two ways. The shrimp was great, my deviled crab was good. My husband said the oysters were delicious. I had sweet potato fries instead of French fries, and they were perfection. We got dessert to go: key lime pie and white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. You’ll have to guess how that is! We’re too full to eat it!!

Yelp
I have visited Southern Coast several times and they never disappoint. Tonight we were a party of 7 with theatre tkts after dinner. I arrived before my party and was quickly greeted by Natalie. I could tell she was new by her shyness. However she rallied and professionally took care of everyone's needs. Oysters were delicious and a side Caesar for me. My friend ordered a Poke Bowl and she was still talking about it hours later. Thanks Natalie for a job well done.

Haden J.

Yelp
Trigger fish was really good and we enjoyed the grilled shrimp. I give the coleslaw and hush puppies good marks as well. Service was good and ambiance is casual for an afternoon lunch. We were hungry and no pics of food.

Yelp
This was one of those let's try this place it's nearby move. We were pleasantly surprised that a seafood restaurant in a neighborhood alcove could be so inviting and above all delicious. Our waitress was absolutely adorable and so on point with the refills and requests! Give here a raise! So I ordered the fried shrimp, fries and Mac & Cheese. Shrimp perfectly cooked good temperature 10/10 Fries whatever brand they use I would like a bag cause they are delish 10/10 Mac&Cheese - meh, yup it's macaronies with some white sauce maybe cheese mostly at the bottom of the bowl. 1/10 because no excuse for bad MC Waitress 10/10 Food 8/10 3.5 rounded to 4

Yelp
Still going strong. Wonderful service paired with delicious seafood. They will take reservations.

Yelp
Parking is easy in the plaza and they have a really nice outdoor patio space that is dog and kid friendly! My husband and I shared: - 1/2 dozen creole style oysters: the garlic butter and parmesan crust on them were very good. And I loved that they brought bread with it to dip it in all the buttery goodness from the plate! Would recommend - clam chowder: we personally didn't enjoy this because of how much bell pepper was in it (we are not bell pepper people for some reason lol). So the taste of that was overpowering for us - shrimp pasta: underseasoned so we added salt. Lots of shrimp a good portion but taste was somewhat underwhelming - smoky grits: tasted just like the clam chowder with the bell peppers We tried our friend's catch of the day (trigger) and it was delicious. Nicely seasoned on a bed of fluffy rice and veggies. The moves are probably the fresh seafood or their platters, will have to try those out next time we visit Jax!

Anna B.

Yelp
This is a go to lunch spot! The food is so fresh and delicious. The gator tail is scrumptious. The calamari is super tasty. Fresh catch is always consistent and filling. Cesar salad is fresh and flavorful.

Hanay W.

Yelp
Our post GA/FL game meal did not disappoint. A small seafood spot with great service and food to match! Good seafood is hard to find, but everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful! Their menu has a great variety without being too much and their prices are fair. Our appetizers and food came out quick, and our server was very accommodating and helpful to some specific requests we had!! Honestly loved this last night dinner and will for sure be back to try more Cajun Shrimp Pasta: 10/10 Lovedddd the type of pasta they used for this dish and also love that they didn't skimp on the shrimp!! So flavorful and yum Creole Oysters: 9/10 Good oysters are hard to come by but these definitely didn't disappoint!! Calamari: 8/10 follow my ig food page for more!! @eatawaye

Outdoor dining as well.

Yelp
This is my 1st choice when it comes to seafood restaurants. Sadly we are a little bit far from this place but it's definitely worth the trip. When you first enter the restaurant you will be greeted and you the special will be on the left so make sure to look there because you don't want to miss the good Stuff! This place is huge, they have a bar at the back corner of the restaurant and the rest is a seating area. We've been here 4 times and I have tried their blackened shrimp and the way they seasoned their shrimp is just perfect! The steamed oyster was delicious and I can just eat that everyday! We also tried the fried gator and at first I wasn't sure but I'm so glad I tried it because it was so good! The sides that comes with the food is fries, coleslaw and hush puppies, I don't eat a lot of coleslaw but this coleslaw is great! This place is definitely worth a visit! You can tell that their seafoods are fresh and that's a must!

Yelp
This is my fifth visit here! So far every meal has far exceeded my expectations! Jessica quickly came to our table took our order, and we received our drinks pronto! Here's where it's at - the food - amazing! Obviously the service is important, which was wonderful, but the food... AMAZING! It's a relaxed atmosphere, so no need to dress up, come enjoy good service and delicious food!

Earleen H.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite spots for seafood. We enjoyed the experience once again this evening. Jessica was our wonderful server - getting all our requests correct, checking back to ensure we had everything and were enjoying it, and taking care of our to-go at the end of the meal. The new additions to the menu and the specials are something we'll try in the future as tonight was the tried and true favorites for both of us. The facility is always clean, including the restroom. No photos, we ate it all!!!

Brendia T.

Yelp
This is truly one of the best local spots for seafood in the Regency/ Arlington area. Staples like Fried Shrimp & Fish are solid choices. The Trigger Fish was cooked to our liking & was yum! Even the sides are good! So if you're looking for great seafood, add Southern Coast Seafood to your places to go list!

Wendy R.

Yelp
Fresh and perfectly cooked fish The collards were really good We also had Calamari that was very tender Interior is Modern bright well decorated The exterior could be more inviting Will return

Ann Marie C.

Yelp
PHENOMENAL! Love this place! Everything we've had has been amazing! Trigger fish tacos were delicious! The fish and chip bites are really tasty also. Definitely try it out!

Tarneisha H.

Yelp
Looking at the location from the outside I would probably pass but hey good things are found in unlikely places. I visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner celebration. The birthday girl is a fan of bone in fish and after giving them a call, this place has it. The food was good. Nothing spectacular but your regular seafood. I got a pick 3 (shrimp, deviled crab, And chicken tenders). The sides are fries and coleslaw automatically. If you want to change the fries you can at no cost, the slaw however will cost you to be changed. The batter on the tenders and shrimp seemed to be the same. The seasoning wasnt to overbearing but probably could have used a little more. Now let's talk about the service. There was one waitress tending to our party if over 10 people. That wasn't bad, it was the fact she had 2-3 other tables as well. There were other servers, and hostess available standing around practically doing nothing but no assistance was given to our waitress. She looked and seemed over stressed. The house manager only inserted her help when she absolutely had to. Otherwise she looked around to find our waitress rather than taking on the task herself. I doubt I go back. There's way to many seafood restaurants in Jax for me to settle for this.

Tiffany E.

Yelp
Headed to the airport in Jacksonville, we decided to Yelp a seafood place. They have high ratings but it was below average IMO. Peel & eat had no flavor the fish bites were dry and the dish was interesting...the beer was cold so I've giving a 3.

Crystal O.

Yelp
I am pretty picky when it comes to seafood, especially places that claim fresh caught seafood. This place now ranks up there as one of my favorites for sure! First- we ordered drinks. I tried the Southern Coast Gentleman- Old Forrester bourbon, blackberry jam, muddled mint and fresh orange wedge and good gracious, I could drink that all day. Very dangerous for a bourbon drink. John got the Old Faithful- Old Forrester Bourbon, Angostura Bitters, Orange Bitters and honey. Strong- but balanced through the whole glass, definitely a sipper. Next- dinner. I ordered the grilled shrimp basket with fries and sweet potato mash- all delicious. John got the 2 way basket with fried shrimp and the fresh catch of the day- trigger fish. That FISH! Best trigger I have ever had, absolutely done right. Our server, Sarah was fantastic and asked me what my favorite seafood restaurant was to compare to them. She understood my other fav spot. All hail the fresh catches for restaurants with their own boats! Yes please- make it fresh. Next time, I'll be going with the fresh catch and maybe adding those grilled shrimp too ;)

Yelp
Southern Coast Seafood America truly is the land of dreams and opportunity for the ones willing to put in the work and make the necessary sacrifices to realize their dreams. And if you work hard you earn the right to play hard. There might not be a harder working guy in all of the Regency/Arlington/Monument Rd area than Matt Joseph. An American Habib like me, Matt turned his love of seafood and cooking into a terrific restaurant and bar right off 295 on Monument called Southern Coast Seafood in the old Mudville Grill location. It was only a quick 3 mile drive from LA FITNESS on Atlantic and Kernan and since I'd lost my racquetball match 3-1 I needed some seafood consolation. I arrived around 5:45ish. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Through the door I was greeted right away by the hostess. The restaurant was immaculately clean, like they opened yesterday and there wasn't even a hint of the smell of fish, a great sign. A small group was lounging at the bar and a few dining room tables and booths were filled. I took a window booth and was quickly greeted by a smiling Camryn. I asked her recommendations on a few appetizers and went with a cup of SOCO Chowder and the Shrimp and Sausage Nachos. I loved the nachos, especially the andouille sausage and the medium heat pickled Fresno chilies . The chowder cup was hot and hearty with oysters, clams, corn and bacon and served with a few baguette crustinis. It was so good I literally turned the cup up. My entree was the Three Way, or as the French Huguenots called it, the Ménage a Trois. Kinky I know but what's a seafood review without a little innuendo. Crabs , Snapper , Blowfish Seriously though it was perfect because I wasn't getting out of there without having some Fried Gator Tail and since I got the nachos I was able to include Gator on my platter along with blackened Cobia and Shrimp . All platters come with fries hush puppies, cocktail, tarter and coleslaw. The fish and shrimp were seasoned perfectly and were plump and delicious. The fries and hush puppies were crisp and hot and very flavorful. The gator tail and Swamp sauce was honestly some of the best I've had. I'd love a whole portion of just gator tail. If you are a fan you will definitely enjoy theirs. Throughout my meal Camryn was attentive, conversational and busy with other tables that steadily streamed in. She kept my drinks full and even bantered with a baby in the booth next to me which I'm sure parents trying to enjoy a night out appreciate. I couldn't resist her recommendation of the house made Peach Cobbler with ice cream . It was a huge portion and terrifically textured and sweet. The crispy crumbly top blanketed the large peach slices below. And the ice cream was the final guilty nail that buried any racquetball loss I carried in with me. I'm kinda jealous of the folks on Monument. I could tell the bar patrons were regulars and it looked like a great spot to chill and have a drink. I simply couldn't fit one down. But maybe I'll start rewarding myself if I win my matches with one of their clever house crafted cocktails like the Titty Twister or the North Jetty. You may not catch Matt in the restaurant every time you go because in addition to running this great outfit with his family, he's also a wild game trapper(he literally had four alligators strapped and tagged in his pick up when I first met him), an avid offshore fisherman and he and his wife recently opened the hugely popular Old Soul Donut Shop on New Berlin Rd. Word is they line up out the door at 6:30 am when they open and usually sellout by the time they close at 12:30. I plan to see what the fuss is about. Donuts tend to turn this group into a gauntlet . Go out and see Matt if you can and ask for Camryn, you'll enjoy your visit.

Lisa Z.

Yelp
What a terrific place! We enjoyed their wings, fish BLT and a burger. The wings are house smoked and had great flavor! The brioche buns on the sandwich's added even more deliciousness!! Our waitress Destiny M was so helpful! Love when the staff knows their menu and can recommend what to get!!

Heather C.

Yelp
Cute place, nice atmosphere & nice server but food was nothing special. We read the reviews and they were pretty good so we went on a Sunday around 5pm for an early dinner. Four of us - Crab leg app was good (old bay seasoning sprinkled on top) with melted butter. I got Catch of the day grilled Trigger but it was super salty - had to squeeze lemon on it for it to be edible. I ordered cheddar grits as a side and they came to the table a few minutes after ordering to say and they were out so I got sweet potato fries which were fine but the hush puppies definitely stole the show! The Poke bowl was mediocre but the fried shrimp were really good - crispy & good sized. I like to support local restaurants but we probably would choose Dockside next time because they are always consistent and good. It was over $120 for the 4 of us so it wasn't worth the money in my opinion. I hope they use this info and make some changes in the kitchen so they can stay in business.

Sequana B.

Yelp
Good was fresh and prepared well.. so delicious! Service was good. Menu selection great Took a friend from the mid west who wanted good local fresh seafood but not from a fry house

Jason S.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but don't let that take away from the amazing food, service, and atmosphere. The wait staff is knowledgeable and very prompt. The menu selection is large and daily specials are vast. I have been here several times and keep coming back to the Blackened Trigger Fish. Mix that with a side and hush puppies...you will not go away hungry.

Bethany R.

Yelp
We got a variety of different items to try. The gator bites were nicely season and the dipping sauce was good as well. The oyster in the poboy were good but the bread was toasted too much so it was hard to eat. The fries that came with my poboy were great though. The Cajun ship pasta tasted good although I wish it came with more noodles. We also got a couple drinks and the my favorite was the Tideline Mule. Our server was also very nice and attentive.

Ash C.

Yelp
I ordered takeout at the bar. It was taken quickly. The food was fine. I would come back again.

Steven R.

Yelp
Best seafood around. Gator tail poboy is amazing. Service is always great, food is always great as well. Hidden gem in Jax for sure.

Valerie T.

Yelp
The service is great the staff is wonderful bartender Amanda and Cj is great they take their time with each customer.

Zach T.

Yelp
Southern Coast has turned into my neighborhood go to. They are all about local. Local fish, local beer, even local hot sauce. We started off with the Calamari app. This is not the ring calamari but calamari cut from the steak and lightly fried. The lemon aioli goes great with this. Pro tip, request the house made hot sauce. You will thank me later. We paired this w a cup of the clam chowder. This is not a run of the mill chowder. Creamy w a bit of a kick. We then had the pick 2 with blackened Trigger and fried shrimp along with some delicious collard greens. To wash this down they have Southern Swell Karate in the Garage on tap. If you are looking for more local hot sauce they have locally made Howler Monkey on the tables. This place just screams Duval.

Sydnie E.

Yelp
The service was awesome. We had a large group come in without a reservation and our waitress, Nicole, was so accommodating for us. She is probably one of the best servers I've ever had. The food was delicious and well priced. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as well!

Ken P.

Yelp
This is good fresh seafood. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny. The oysters are outstanding and the server recommended the blackened triggerfish, which was tasty. The bartender is excellent and makes an outstanding martini. I'll be back.

Kimlay K.

Yelp
This place is underrated in my opinion. The seafood is always fresh and delicious. I've been here a few times and have had a few items on the menu. I don't think that I've had anything here that I didn't like. Would recommend it.

Kim K.

Yelp
This place is consistently good and has very fresh seafood options. I would recommend this place for large or small group dinners. We love getting the fish collar anytime we see it on the blackboard. Everything we've had was delicious.

Richard L.

Yelp
Do not pass this gem up. Southern Coast Seafood is a must visit every time we are in Jacksonville. The selection and quality of food is exceptional. The staff always friendly and attentive. The location is in a strip mall but is seafood house on the inside with a great patio for outdoor eating. We have been here many times and find nothing but more reasons to come back with every visit. Give them a try, you'll be glad you did!

Jason D.

Yelp
Ok. In from Memphis. Wanted something besides catfish. Looked for a locally owned place. (That's key to eating out of town). Break the chain. Had the blackened fish platter. Good stuff. Liked it bunch. Waitress (Courtney) was tentative without being too much. Food came out quick. I would for sure do it again. Give it a try. But be nice. Nobody likes a cranky client.

Chelsea W.

Yelp
Amazing and good portion sizes! Great service. Wasn't excited by the curbside view but inside has been renovated and food was really good.

Carley S.

Yelp
We were a little disappointed given that they have a 4.5 rating. Hopefully it was just an off day. The floor is sticky. The salt and pepper shakers are sticky. The ahi tuna salad was actually pretty good. My husbands burger was OK and the fries were OK. The burger was a bit dry and lacked flavor. The fries were coated too thick. The food took a while but this is sort of standard after Covid. Friendly waitstaff. Overall just average or OK. On the verge of "good." It wasn't "bad," it just isn't deserving of a 4-5 star rating.

Jamie W.

Yelp
We stopped here after visiting Tree Hill Park. I've read such great reviews and was happy it was nearby to give it a try. Restaurant is huge, and it seemed the bar area is very popular. They also have outdoor seating. I ordered an Arnold Palmer. If you have pink lemonade versus yellow, you need to let the patrons know as it totally changes the taste of an Arnold Palmer. Just FYI in case you're more attached to yellow lemonade. We opted to start with the smoked fish spread. It was okay. Way too much mayo in my opinion. The pickled onions were a nice touch, and the toasty bread was good too. Just not as smoky or as fishy as I would like. I ordered the Fish Club. It is served with house smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a lemon aioli. The bacon was a nice touch. I asked for lightly blackened and that came out great. The lemon aioli I did not like at all. Way too much of a fake lemony taste. Again, I know folks love it, so this is definitely a personal preference, but it just overpowered the entire sandwich and that's all I could taste. I didn't taste the fish, nor anything else there. I ended up taking one piece of bread off just so I might taste some of the fish. My sister had the blackened fish tacos, and although she said they were good, they had very little fish in them, especially for the price. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. I did ask if they were made in-house and it seemed to stump our server. They are not, but they were very good. Service was tops, and we had more than one person stop by to ask if we needed anything. Lots of seafood choices, and unfortunately this was not one I would choose to come back to. Too pricey and didn't enjoy what we had, but again, personal preferences and I know others love it.

Mike D.

Yelp
Easy, quick to-go. Grilled triggerfish sandwich was delicious. Fries warm. Will be back

Yelp
WOW!! I'm in love with the shrimp and grits!! So delicious!! It took less than 24 hours to eat it..!! Stayed creamy and did not end up with tough clumps of grits!! And also sampled a dozen raw oysters on the half, and I kid you not when i say that they were probably honestly some of the best oysters I've ever had. No joke. My husband and I ate them like a rally..lol. Straight up 6 a piece like toasting shots but oysters, lol. So very good. And our entire order was correct. Not tossed up. Served in a very professional manner. So tasty and fresh. I plan on being a regular. Thank you, Southern Coast Seafood!! Great job!! Fantastic service!! Fantastic food!!

Varsha P.

Yelp
This is a great seafood restaurant to check out if you're ever nearby! My seafood platter came with blackened fish, fried shrimp, hushpuppies, fries, coleslaw, and cocktail and tartar sauces. The fish was their catch of the day and it was so fresh and tasty! Their fried shrimp was just as fresh and had a great crunch to them!! The hush puppies and fries were also cooked perfectly and the housemade sauces sold the platter! Overall, I loved how delicious and flavorful everything on this platter was and I can't wait to visit again!!⁣⁣⁣⁣

Adam K.

Yelp
Southern Coast Seafood has a really great menu full of delicious entrees and appetizers, my personal favorite being the gator tail they offer. Depending on the time the service can be a bit slow; however, there is no shortage of warm welcoming servers ready to help at any time. Plus if you love a minimalist marina aesthetic, the ambience is sure to keep you in!

Melba G.

Yelp
Food was good, Husband liked the bang bang shrimp tacos a lot. I ordered the SoCo BLT. The fried green tomato that was on it was soggy, and you couldn't taste the pimento cheese. I will have to give it one more try and order something else.

Kristine S.

Yelp
Solid 4 star seafood restaurant! Southern Coast Seafood has been on our radar for some time now. We decided to stop in for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant was moderately busy but we were seated right away. We started with drinks, hubby ordered a beer and I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir. Next we ordered our entrees. Hubby ordered the 2-way seafood platter which came with fried fish, fried shrimp, hushpuppies, fries and slaw. I went with the fried fish seafood platter that also had hushpuppies, fries and slaw. The fried fish was flaky and cooked well. I really enjoyed the breading - flavorful with a nice crunch and not too thick. The fried shrimp were very tasty! The fries were crispy and seasoned well. I thought the hushpuppies were okay but a little dry. The slaw was also just okay to me. I wished it was sweeter. Overall, great seafood with friendly service. I would definitely come back and try other menu items.

Lea P.

Yelp
Awesome food - CHECK! Fantastic service - CHECK! Of course Southern Coast Seafood deserves the 5 star rating! Came here on a Saturday for lunch and glad they were not busy. Our server was Kim and she did an excellent job describing their specials and fresh catch of the day and was very gracious answering our questions. Their Shrimp and Grits was supposedly available after 5pm but Kim said we could order it, yey! We also got the fish platter with hushpuppies, coleslaw and sweet & sour collards plus she gave me a sample of all their sauces! The fish was flaky and fresh and goes well with ALL the sauces! Delicious! And the shrimp and grits? It was so flavorful! I would say that aside from the shrimp, the other star of the dish is the Andouille sausage! It was yummy and made the meal extra tasty! Dessert was Blueberry White Chocolate Bread Pudding and again, it was great and not too sweet, just perfect to end our lunch! I highly recommend this place! Obviously, we will be back! :)

Ralph P.

Yelp
What a great place for fresh seafood. Stopped by for lunch and had the fried shrimp and oysters platter and it was outstanding! Can't wait until my next chance to visit the great place!

Tony I.

Yelp
A gem in the rough for sure. I had the blackened cobia fish combo and it was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Great crispy fries and coleslaw that was also perfect. (Not drowning in too much mayonaise) The service was very good - very friendly. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was they were out of sticky rice and the Poke bowl wasnt an option. (Thats actually what I wanted) but the fish dinner was truly delicious.

Julie S.

Yelp
Always good fish and excellent service! Every time we go to there we enjoy the food.

Laura P.

Yelp
The drinks are great and the food is yummy!! I'm allergic to seafood but the pork rinds and the gator is my go to! Add the cheese sauce for sure!! The green beans and grits and so good and really southern!! My bf had the triggerfish tacos and he loved them!! Legit!! Joe was great too!!

Sasha S.

Yelp
Came here after visiting the botanical gardens. There was no wait, it was pretty empty. We ordered the wings, they were out of the "sauce" that goes on top but they were still very good and crispy. I ordered the creole oysters, phenomenal. Also tried the blue crab lump cake, which was good too and a Caesar salad. I tried the white sangria for my drink and it was very refreshing. Hubby tried the blackened fish sandwich and he said it was good. Our waitress was very attentive as well. Overall great experience!

Renee B.

Yelp
What can you say other than GREAT ACROSS THE BOARD! GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE (JESSICA) and Great Ambiance! Not a hit or miss! Perfection every time! I am not a restaurant goer; I prefer to cook, but I will eat here any time!

Kiera R.

Yelp
The food was delicious the oysters were nicely steamed the shrimp was a nice size and everything was fresh
