We stopped here after visiting Tree Hill Park. I've read such great reviews and was happy it was nearby to give it a try.
Restaurant is huge, and it seemed the bar area is very popular. They also have outdoor seating.
I ordered an Arnold Palmer. If you have pink lemonade versus yellow, you need to let the patrons know as it totally changes the taste of an Arnold Palmer. Just FYI in case you're more attached to yellow lemonade.
We opted to start with the smoked fish spread. It was okay. Way too much mayo in my opinion. The pickled onions were a nice touch, and the toasty bread was good too. Just not as smoky or as fishy as I would like.
I ordered the Fish Club. It is served with house smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a lemon aioli. The bacon was a nice touch. I asked for lightly blackened and that came out great. The lemon aioli I did not like at all. Way too much of a fake lemony taste. Again, I know folks love it, so this is definitely a personal preference, but it just overpowered the entire sandwich and that's all I could taste. I didn't taste the fish, nor anything else there. I ended up taking one piece of bread off just so I might taste some of the fish.
My sister had the blackened fish tacos, and although she said they were good, they had very little fish in them, especially for the price.
Fries were crispy and well seasoned. I did ask if they were made in-house and it seemed to stump our server. They are not, but they were very good.
Service was tops, and we had more than one person stop by to ask if we needed anything.
Lots of seafood choices, and unfortunately this was not one I would choose to come back to. Too pricey and didn't enjoy what we had, but again, personal preferences and I know others love it.
