Not enough meat or cheese in anything, Just all thick bread. Too many shortcuts taken. Nothing hot and fresh from what I've ordered. Been here atleast 4-5 times but just had enough. Good luck. Something needs to change.

Very rude man. My sister and I walked in craving donuts at 12:20pm as soon as we walk in to the lit up donut shop and the man tells us the shop is closed. however the sign says they close at 1:00pm. We said: hey y'all dont close until 1:00pm and he was like: no we are closed now. We ended up going to Shipleys Donuts. So this place needs to correct their HOURS if they close the store BEFORE 1:00pm. Im very disappointed

Placed an order online at 530am. It says they open at 5 am. They didn't even open the doors til 545. I went in to get my order he said it wouldn't be ready til after 6. I asked why if they open at 5 and the order was accepted when I placed it. He said even though they open at 5 (they didn't) it won't be ready til 6.

We tried this place on a whim because we have been trying to find donuts other than shipleys. I really wanted to love this place, but I can't! Everything we got was old. You can tell it has been sitting and not from this morning. Cheese is nonexistent in everything we ordered that was supposed to have cheese and meat and eggs tasted stale. We bought donut holes, glazed donuts, sausage egg cheese kolache, bacon sausage cheese kolache, bacon egg and cheese kolache and regular sausage cheese kolache.

They are the best and most freshest donuts in town. If you order 1 dozen or more over the phone they will cook them fresh for you. They always have a warm smile on they faces. Very very very great customer service

I showed up right at opening time. They already had fresh kolaches out and some donuts. You get the best service here and everyone is really nice. The store is clean and they make the BEST cinnamon rolls ever!

Not all the impressed donut and food display could be a little more appealing to the eye everything seems to look dry or not fresh and the lady is rude won't be returning

This place is a constant disappointment and full of false advertising. Tried giving them another shot today so I could try out one of the drinks they boast about on their menu of all kinds of special teas and coffees- I asked for a simple iced coffee from the menu and was told "no. I'm too busy". There were 2 other customers in the store. So I guess if you want to actually purchase what they advertise then make sure you're the only person in there

I stopped by this place on my way to IAH to bring some kolaches back with me. They have fresh baked goods and many different types of kolaches (jumbo ones, jalapeno-filled hotdogs, kountry boy kolache, boudain kolache, etc), cheese/egg/sausage buns or bacon buns or cheese croissants, you name it! This place is relatively new so it's very clean. Service is great (the lady that works there helped me pick out a bunch of different ones). Prices are good too! So, if you find yourself in the area, stop by and grab some delicious baked goods!

Stopped in for a kolache this morning. I had seen the shop before but had never tried it. The jalapeño boudin kolache caught my eye immediately. OMG! The boudin was SPICY and the pastry surrounding it was so delicate and buttery. It was absolutely DELICIOUS. I also bought two crullers because I don't see those very often. They were good. I would have rather have ordered two of the kolaches instead!! YUM!!!

Great service and lots of options! Tried the brisket kolache and it's was amazing. My son is very picky when it comes to doughnuts so he usually will just eat all the icing and sprinkles off but it's safe to say he likes these since he ate the whole thing. We will definitely be back.

I go here pretty regularly and I'm not sure if there is a better donut shop in the vicinity. Their apple fritters are some of the I've ever had. Also, I love their spicy boudin kolaches! My only knock on them is that they run out of fritters fairly quickly so it would be nice if they could keep them stocked...but I think this just speaks to how much people love their fritters so its hard to hold it against them.

I use to be a fan of Shipleyz but I love the fact regatdless what time you go the donuts and cinnamon rolls are good and fresh and can be reheated you can't do that with Shipleys.I have a new home in Southern Maid Donuts

The variety was not as much as I've seen in other places but the service was fast, the donuts were good and they have these mini kaloches that are delicious with a touch of mustard. It looks like there aren't very many donut shops in the area so I'm glad southern maid is here.

I've been a long time Shipleys loyal but this place has made me a fan. Today though the woman who was helping me was really hard to understand and she put half of our dozen donuts in a box nicely and the other half she shoved in a bag. I was so confused by this and by the time we got home all of those donuts were covered in chocolate from the others. Kind of annoying. But- in regards to taste, everything is wonderful and we will certainly be back.
