⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Southern Yankee House☁️ is hands-down one of the best brunch spots in Austin! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming, stylish, and just the right mix of laid-back and elevated. The service? Friendly, attentive, and totally on point. But let’s talk about the food—absolute perfection. I’m still dreaming about the chicken & waffles 🍗🧇, the fluffy biscuits with honey butter 🥐🍯, and don’t even get me started on the eggs benedict with smoked pork belly 🍳🥓—divine. Oh, and the drinks? You know it’s a solid brunch when the mimosas flow like a dream 🍾🍊. Their seasonal mimosa flavors were such a fun surprise and ridiculously good. Whether you’re nursing a hangover or celebrating something special, Southern Yankee House☁️ is your go-to. Stylish space, creative menu, bomb cocktails, and major brunch vibes 🥂✨🍽️. Can’t wait to come back!

The sourdough pizza and fries were absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor! However, I was disappointed with the non-alcoholic drink—it came with no refill option and was filled with too much ice, which diluted the taste. Additionally, the server wasn’t very attentive, which impacted the overall experience.

I debated posting this but I also realized gatekeepers help close down good bars. Drinks are superb. Food is spectacular. I meet a new favorite bartender every time I visit (3 so far. Grant and Jake are tops right now.) Best way to describe the aura is great food, drinks, and service that's never fussy. Be warned if they suggest Malört

We met up with friends to catch up. It was too hot to sit outside so we picked a big table by the bar. The food was very tasty. I had a ginger beer mocktail. My husband and friends had beers and a cocktails. The yum yum fries were great to pick at. Pastrami sandwich was delicious. My husband didn’t like the lemon pepper wings since they had too much seasoning and a bit dry. Our friend got the fish and chips. He let us try it. I would order that plate for sure. Omg the raspberry cobbler was sooooo good. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Yall should swing by and try them out.

Google
Wowzers!!! Would give this place 10 stars if I could. From the giant pretzel to the best in class garlic-honey-soy wood fired wings, everything was over the top delicious. Service prompt & helpful. Absolutely make it a priority to come check this place out asap!!!

I am a pure vegetarian. Tried: 1. Yum yum fries- it originally has unagi sauce but we asked to remove it. It is really crispy and good. Must try it. 5/5 2. Margherita pizza - this was fine. 3.5/5

Google
Cannot complain about anything except the fact the pizza was so fresh I burnt my tongue. We tried the yard house burger, wings, and pizza. All were beyond fantastic. Worth the pricing. We will be back! Truly, the fries were a highlight for me. Wings were the best I ever had texturally.

Google
Came for lunch and tried a personal margarita pizza for $5 off during the special. Crust was great but wasn't offered and Parm or red peppers. Had to continuously flag down staff for refills and the check as well. It was busy during our time there and I with that in mind, I would come back to try another dish. Parking is across the street!

Yelp
Stopped In for dinner after deciding I was not in the mood to cook. I think we were a tad hungry when deciding since it took us forever since everything seemed so good. We started with the fries and salad. Both came out really quickly. They even were nice enough to have the cilantro on the side for me. The fries were great. We cleaned the plate. Same with the salad. The shroom pizza wasn't it for me. The grinder was definitely better in my opinion. Overall everything seemed fresh and on a busy night came out quickly. The feel on the back patio felt just like someone's backyard and honestly shocked that we weren't forgotten since how busy elsewhere was.

Yelp
Tried this spot out after always driving past it. Stopped in during brunch hours. I want to come back to try the bread pudding French toast, because that sounds absolutely lovely. I was able to park across the street, and there were no wait and no reservations. We split fried green tomatoes, and they were served hot! The wait staff were very friendly and willing to answer questions. We weren't assigned to one server, and they were all so helpful. Ordered the brunch style pizza, swapped bacon for chicken. 3.5/5.. It just wants what i was expecting. It wasnt horrible but i wouldnt order it again.

Yelp
Ordered the southern yankee burger without the cheese and the buffalo chicken burger, and They both came with fries. Both burgers were good but to me the temperature wasn't to my liking! It really took away from the taste and experience. The fries were a little crunchy, but were sorta warm/cold idk how to really explain it.. maybe if I were to eat inside it would be fresher and it different, which I do plan on doing. I don't have any pictures of the food which was on purpose.. I hope to go back soon to try it all again

Yelp
Really great find! Good location. Plenty of parking across the street. Friendly staff. Amazing food with unique flavor combinations. Definitely a must try for brunch

Yelp
I've been here so many times, I can't believe its taken me this long to write a review. I've been going to his place since they first opened, as I only live down the block. This place is a great casual place to hangout, have some drinks, eat some excellent food, and also watch some sporting events. There are TV's both inside and outside on the back patio. Both the front and back patio are shaded, perfect for those hot, sunny days. I also love the fact that the outside is dog friendly. For drinks they have their craft beer menu - I'm not a beer drinker but the friends I've been here with have enjoyed it. There is also a full bar - my favorite drink is the Cosmonaughty. There is also a non-alcoholic drink menu for those who don't drink. Onto the food....I have not disliked a single thing here. I've probably tried about half their menu - which is always evolving - so its always been enjoyable to come back and try different things. These are my favorite things on their menu: - Mango habanero wings: they have such a great kick! - Crispy asparagus - Fried chicken kale cobb salad - Meat lovers pizza - Pear & bleu pizza - Duck duck shroom pizza - They used to have a huevos rancheros that I loved on their brunch menu but recently tried their Chilaquiles which was also good! FYI, the pizza is more of a flat bread type pizza- not an actual authentic pizza pie. Perfect to share for 2-3 people. Service is great here! Everyone is friendly, attentive. and makes great recommendations. There is a large parking lot across the street and also neighborhood parking. I love this place and it's a great addition in the neighborhood!

Yelp
If you're looking for a place with great food, Southern Yankee Craft House is definitely worth trying out. Located in the heart of Montrose, this spot offers a solid selection of burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and wings--classic Southern American comfort food done right. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I would absolutely order it again. One of the standout features of this place is that it's dog-friendly, making it a great spot to bring your pup while enjoying a meal. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can choose whatever vibe suits you best. Interestingly, this location used to be a hot dog restaurant before transforming into what it is today, and they've really made the space their own. The service was nice and staff was friendly and attentive. There is no direct parking at the restaurant so you have to park across the street but it's not far away at all. Overall, Southern Yankee Craft House delivers on flavor and atmosphere. Whether you're craving a good burger, some wings, or just a laid-back spot to enjoy great food, this place is a solid choice.

Yelp
This place was great! I came out here for a happy hour get together with some colleagues and I am already planning to go back. Parking. They have a lot across the street. It might take a second to get across, Texas drivers amiright... There's also street parking around, so you should be able to find a spot somewhere. Not a problem to find a landing spot. Happy Hour It's a goodun. Weekday Happy Hour Mon-Fri 3-6pm. $3 off menu cocktails (Signatures and Classics) and wine, $2 off draft beer. They have a good assortments of beers and cocktails, as well as NA mocktails. Something for everyone. They also have a special after 7p on some days of 2 pints and a pizza for $25. That is a steal. Foods Let me tell you about the Crispy Smoked Pork Belly. You have been told. Melt in your mouth fat and meat, with delightfully crispy skin over pureed butternut squash. If this was bottomless, I'd never leave. Hear me out, Pickle Pizza. It isn't what you think, and it's amazing. The flavors compliment each other perfectly. Service It was fantastic, we had a few different folks working around the place, and everyone was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. This will quickly become a regular.

Yelp
Been a minute since we had been here so stopped by recently. It was one of the colder days and only seating available was outside but the space heaters definitely made it comfortable. I had the beef stroganoff which was a hot, hearty dish for a cold day. The flavors were really good, the pasta delicious and the meat super tender. The only thing I would change was how much sour cream was on top, I thought more of a dollop than almost cover g the whole dish. Still very tasty and perfect dish for that day. Our waitress was great, super friendly and attentive. Offered up her favorites and also gave beer recommendations for what we were looking for. Everyone here is always very friendly.

Yelp
We were looking for a dog-friendly place with a nice patio, and after trying three other locations, we finally found this gem. I have never encountered a place with so many dog lovers among the staff. Everyone came over to meet my dog. We were quite hungry, so I was grateful when the waitress promptly approached us after we seated ourselves. I ordered the pepper-crusted steak, while my husband chose the kimchi chicken. The steak was truly pepper-crusted and had a crispy exterior, and the fingerling potatoes were also delightfully crisp. Overall, the dish was very good. The kimchi chicken had fantastic flavors, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. It's definitely a dish worth trying!

Yelp
Was looking for a place to eat after the Houston Zoo and this is the place we picked and we were glad we did. The weather was perfect and they ended up having outdoor seating on a super cute, clean patio. The wait staff was very friendly and service was prompt. I ordered the Beer Can Chicken Kale Salad which was delicious! We also ordered the Southern Yankee Craft Burger which was good, along with the Smoked Ribeye Melt also very good. To share we figured we would try their Heirloom Margherita Pizza which was REALLY good! I am a dough girl and the dough was outstanding & very fresh! We did have to wait for some water however, other than that everything was outstanding and I would recommend!

Yelp
Went for their signature burger and absolutely loved it. Whatever sauce/jam they put on it... chefs kiss!!! Awesome spot for lunch with a friend, with options to sit outside or inside. Waiters were super attentive and service was great. They also have $5 off pizza during their "happy hour" times which I will be taking advantage of next time

Yelp
I'm just going to jump straight into it, I love good service and good food, this was our first time and the waiter was helpful when it came to trying items. Everything we chose was pretty good, really. I love the outside seating, the area was nice and not too loud.... Me & my family enjoyed all of our meals & we will definitely be back for more Thai Curry Salmon was like no other, it was good with so many flavors, everything tasted so well together. Philly cheesesteak pizza - different and good! Pepperoni pizza - nothing special but it was also a good prop! Kids cheeseburger - cooked well & the fries were pretty good
google avatar

Yelp
They know how to cook some chicken! I had the Kimchi Crispy Chicken Bowl and a Texas Sun cocktail the chicken so tasty and everything in the bowl was delish. My husband and son got chicken wings they raved over the garlic parm and mango habanero wings. My youngest best got a cheese pizza, so good even the crust, who doesn't live an amazing brick oven pizza! Extra points for having my hometown's local brewery's beer on draft from Hound Song!
google avatar

Ishika K.

Yelp
I'll start off by saying this spot is super cute and the service was great! However, I will say it wasn't the most vegetarian friendly. I ended up getting the chefs veggie pizza, which was good but I expected more. There was a lot of arugula and I felt like that's all I could taste. It wasn't bad, it wasn't the best, but it was one of the few limited options I had. I went in a big group and others seemed to like what they got and the staff was very accommodating for a big party especially without a reservation and with the limited space available!

Yelp
On a rainy evening in Houston near Rice University, We were looking for a place for some good drinks and ok food. SYC offered one better, good drinks with good food. I got the daiquiri and Anuya got an IPA along with a Burrata Sandwich, which we shared. The sandwich came with fries which went well with the drinks. The Food and the drinks were good and the outside patio was nice in the breeze.

Yelp
We were turned away from The Sun Rise House with our party of 8 including children and lucked out that the Southern Yankee Crafthouse was nearby. We were warmly welcomed by a darling hostess and they had a great table with benches that fit our family perfectly. I started with the Bartender's Bouquet and this cocktail was superb! So refreshing with a nice mix of sweet and tart. Since this is a Crafthouse, I ordered a flight of darks: Black Lager, Dry Irish Stout, Conundrum and Cortado. Honestly loved them all but my favorite was Black Lager, so smooth! Love their system - it's all hands on deck, all servers drop by, not just one. The truffle fries are delicious, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning! My entree, the Salmon Thai Green Curry was amazing! I'm glad our server recommended it! Yes a little spicy, vegetables not overcooked, and the salmon was seasoned perfectly. The kids loved their pizza and chicken tenders! Absolutely love this cute place!

Yelp
I was looking forward to trying this; I've heard so many great things. However I thought it was alright. We ordered the southern yankee craft burger, slow dough pretzel bread pudding and a sausage bruschetta pizza. The burger wasn't as savory as I thought it would be. While the pizza was decent there wasn't anything impressive about it. The bread pudding was delicious though. Definitely not with the hype in my opinion- probably wouldn't return. The service made up for it though. He was super kind and attentive.

Yelp
I was excited when a friend decided to have her birthday brunch at Southern Yankee Crafthouse because I've heard such great things about it. We had a group of 7 adults plus 1 young kiddo and we were able to sit on the patio on a not too hot morning. To my knowledge, my friend had no issues with setting our reservation. Firstly, the patio is lovely. It is a decent size and situated where you would receive minimal, if any direct sunlight which makes eating outside in Houston much more bearable. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodated our large party very well and quickly! We enjoyed some truffle fries for the table and OMG they were GOOD! I ordered the peach ginger fizz and it was a really delicious zero proof drink. For my entrée, I ordered the fried chicken cobb salad and it was so good. The chicken managed to be fried, but not greasy, but tender enough that I could cut with my fork. The vegetables were all very fresh too. This salad just hit the spot! Oh, and parking is across the street from the restaurant :)

Yelp
Southern Yankee Crafthouse was a win! Our plates were clean in to time! The waiters were very attentive and got us our water, food and checked on us just the right amount of times with such friendliness. The food was sooo good! I got the burger but substituted asparagus for fries and it was soo tasty! My husband got a Philly Cheesesteak and fries which he loved. Our kiddo got mac and cheese and fries. We all loved our food and will be back soon.the decor is very clean, simple and inviting. A great place for Sunday brunch!

Yelp
I really loved this place! We arrived early on a Saturday evening because I was a bit worried about the seating. The ample parking across the street was appreciated. Every staff member was friendly and helpful but not annoyingly fake or intrusive. They truly seemed to enjoy being there. The ambience was fun and energetic. Definitely a bit on the loud side so if that bothers you, I'd recommend the front or back patio. We shared the truffle fries which were very good and the pickle pizza which was amazing. There were so many creative pizzas to choose from. Lots of good beers on tap and lots unique cocktails as well. Prices were very reasonable for the area and the service was perfect. Such a great dinner!
google avatar

Amber W.

Yelp
The food was very good & high quality. The location does have limited seating inside but outside they had fans and served water immediately without asking. The few waitress' were awesome and kept up with the hustle & bustle. Our first time here was after the park so attire was relaxed or could be a date with dresses. I highly recommend as a stop before visiting the museum district or if you are within the area and are looking for a classic southern resturant for a summer day.

Yelp
This place deserves all of the hype and praise it gets because WOW! I came here on a Friday night with no reservation. My parents and I were able to snag the last two parking spots left on the lot across the street. Other than that lot, there is not much parking around that I saw so I am sure that can be an annoying thing. It was a little hot so we tried to sit inside but all inside seats were taken. We snagged a table on the front porch and were greeted promptly. I saw they had an extensive list of cocktails and decided to order the Texas Sun. What a perfect cocktail! If you love the smokey taste of mezcal and spicy drinks- this is the drink for you! My dad and mom ordered and old fashioned and a beer and they also loved their drinks! To start off we ordered the truffle fries. Thick cut fries with a generous amount of parmesan cheese and truffle oil along with garlic aoli for dipping. We were literally fighting for these at the table! They were so crunchy and just overall tasty. For my entrée, my boyfriend and I split the Thai curry salmon. Again, WOW. So much flavor in this dish! it came with green beans, bok choy, sweet potato. The mix of flavors was great and it is actually a pretty healthy dish so no guilt after. Service was super attentive and fast and the food was so delicious I just want to keep coming here over and over again until I can try everything on the menu at least once. This place is a MUST if you are in the Houston area.

Yelp
The staff is very friendly. The drinks are strong. I suggest the Big Trouble in Little China. The pork belly is amazing. Ordered the hummus appetizer, but it's the size of a full on meal. The sweet and spicy pizza is amazing. The dough they use is top quality. Also, parking across the street is a HUGE plus

Melody A.

Yelp
Honestly never coming back here and telling my friends and family this place sucks. I NEVER complain or send things back but I ordered a Cesar salad with chicken and I did not enjoy it I took one bite and sent it back. The chicken tasted left over and was full of fat. I got full on my appetizer so I didn't ask for a replacement. Upon checkout, I asked for the $12 ( $8 baseline plus the chicken) meal to be taken off as I had 1-2 bites. The manager said they can't take the meal off simply because I didn't like it. He stated "it's only $8" as it's not a big deal and I should pay for it anyways. He was very rude. I've never had such a horrible experience.

Yelp
Super cozy place, with a nice patio. Service was excellent, friendly and prompt. Crispy asparagus was really nice, with a lemon aioli. JUMBO asparagus! Beef stroganoff, super flavorful and a treat on a cool day. Blackened pork chop...the fruit compote and brown butternut squash purée was wondrous! Perfectly seasoned fingerling potatoes and crisp, fresh green beans. The chop was amazingly seasoned, but quite dry on the inside, not juicy and slightly pink. Feel the kitchen should have seen overdone temp on thermometer before plate came out though. I like when they list flavor profiles of beers on menu, as I am not a connoisseur, so it's great to be able to choose something I feel I would like on my own. Pretzel bread pudding DAMN GINA.....this was a phenomenal, caramel, creamy, slightly salty, delicious delight in my gullet. Staff also brought a sample of the heat shields out to taste with it! Will be back for more tastes off beer and main menu....maybe just for the pretzel bread pudding alone

Yelp
We had an excellent dinner here on a Friday evening where we could enjoy their outdoor area. First things first - service is amazing. Servers are so friendly, efficient, and helpful. They really make you feel welcomed. They have a really interesting menu with lots of pizza and unique plate options. For drinks, they offer cocktails, nonalcoholic drinks, and local beers on tap. We started with their pretzel and it came out piping hot with delicious mustard and cheese. I ordered their buffalo chicken sandwich and it was perfectly flavored and served with addicting fries. Parking - private lot directly across the street.

Yelp
Wow, this place was great! Went there on a lark with a colleague. We were attending a conference and wanted to get out of the Convention Center. We both had entrees with an Asian bent and they were very good. The people next to us had the pizza and it looked great too. Next time I am in Houston, this is the first stop.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my fave restaurants in Houston and I can't say enough great things about this establishment. First thing I need to talk about is the food! Not once (and I've been there a multitude of times) have we ever had something we didn't like. The food is ALWAYS amazing. While we do try different menu items some of our staples are always the hummus, caprese, pretzel and pizza. This time around we had all but the hummus and switched to the wings instead. All were equally great! We jumped on the pretzel so please forgive the pic of our half eaten pretzel. We also ordered the old fashioned which was perfection! Second thing we love here is the service! The staff is always so kind and welcoming. Sometimes they get a bit tied up but it's because this place is always busy. However that's been on a very rare occasion. Lastly the atmosphere is so inviting and comfortable. Whether eating on the front patio, indoors or outside it's always a relaxed atmosphere and feel like you can take your time to enjoy your food and company. We always make sure to bring our visiting friends and family to Southern Yankee Craft house. Hope you love it as much as we do!
google avatar

Nhi V.

Yelp
Food was so good I ordered two entrees for myself! First, I got the lamb chops cooked medium rare. Meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, and paired perfectly with the sauce and potatoes. The only downside was that it was a tad small. My friend got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and she devoured everything when the girl doesn't even finish her food half the time! Next we have the Duck Duck Shroom pizza. Loved the flavor! Thin crust, duck confit, mozzarella cheese, thick slices of garlic and mushroom, what could go wrong? Absolutely nothing. For dessert, their bread pudding looks and sounds sooo good but I was stuffed from the entrees. Gotta try it next time. Four stars because there were A LOT of flies all over the outdoor tables and some even flew inside. I get that it's summer and maybe it can't be helped, but half of the place's appeal is the patio/outdoor seatings so that kind of sucks.
google avatar

Yelp
Southern Yankee Crafthouse was featured in Yelp's top 100 places to eat in 2024 so on a recent visit to Houston, I made it a priority to visit. It did not disappoint. I had the Wood Fired Wings and Pickle Pizza. The wings were super large and tender, perfectly smokey with a crisp outside and paired with a side of flavorful buffalo sauce. The pizza had a heavenly soft crust with gooey mozzarella, cheddar and provolone cheeses, creamy parmigiano and ranch aioli, soft savory roasted potatoes and tangy pickles. Paired with the restaurant's wonderful selection of local craft beers, this was a phenomenal dining experience. Southern Yankee Crafthouse lives up to the hype and is a must visit.

Yelp
Great craft cocktails, food, and service. Indoor space was a bit cramped but outdoor seating is available. Had an awesome time!

Yelp
My mother and I stopped here for a quick weekday lunch - we ordered drinks, appetizers, and a meal and were still in and out in an hour! While I normally like to take my time with a meal, the attentive service really stood out. My mother had the Texas Sun cocktail, which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes and the pear and blue cheese pizza, which we enjoyed, but the star of the show was the truffle fries. Like almost every review says, the truffle fries are truly a must order. I would definitely come back here if I find myself in this part of town again!
google avatar

Christine T.

Yelp
The truffle fries are AMAZING! It is a bit pricey though for a starter appetizer but it was good! I definitely recommend for you to try it out! Service was good as well!

Yelp
The highlights: attentive service, incredible food, casual atmosphere, but high prices. I have driven by and always seen the place packed, and have been meaning to try for over a year. I did not go inside, but the outdoor seating very much had the same vibe as Kirby Ice House or a casual beer garden, but the food was pricey and kind of upscale. I had the Green Curry Salmon Bowl, and the waiter said it was great despite it maybe not being authentic, which I would agree with. Tbh some of the best food I have had in Houston. Cocktails were just OK, I had the mezcal one. My friend ordered the pork chop; there was some fear that it would be dry but it in fact was not! Good work all around, I would 10/10 recommend this place, though I would caution re: relatively high prices (but you get what you pay for!!).

Yelp
So this place is a nice little gem tucked away in montrose just off Alabama. Parking is across the street and it's free. They offer brunch on the weekends from 12-3pm. The have limited indoor seating, but you can sit at the bar too. The also have outdoor seating as well, but I wasn't interested in that because excessive heat. My friend and I stopped in after a course we took. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of choices on the menu. They have an extensive beer selection, specialty cocktails and specialty breakfast cocktails. The also have am extensive variety of pizzas, entrees and even sides! Honestly everything sounded sooo good! But I settled on the Tikka masala pizza. It was good I mean I finished it, but they could have added a taste bit more curry or garam masala. I like spice l But the Ceasars salad was bomb!! Perfectly ratio of ingredients! My friend said the sweet& spicy pizza was a hit. All and all I'll be back to try more things on the menu!

Yelp
I was meeting up with a large group of friends the night before Thanksgiving, and our first choice of location was closed, so someone suggested Southern Yankee Crafthouse. We had been before, and once again it did not disappoint. Parking is across the street in a gravel lot with many pot holes and rough ground. It is not friendly for those who may require assistance walking or balancing. I do not recall seeing any other parking options for this restaurant. I have never had trouble finding a spot to park, however. They have a decent selection of beer and food, which should please most palates. I have previously had the pizza, but this time I was only here for dessert. The skillet cookie was okay. It was a salted chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. The cookie itself was rather salty but otherwise bland aside from the occasional chocolate chip. The ice cream was pretty good. The pizza we previously had was probably good, but honestly not memorable. The servers were very attentive, got our orders right even though it was a large group, and were friendly. We sat out back at the patio tables, which were large enough to hold 8 of us, and there is a large TV playing sports too if that's your thing. Overall, I would definitely suggest this place again when we all meet up. I am not sure if I would actively seek this place out, but I would not be upset to eat here again.

Yelp
Tasty food. Super cute spot. They used to have really good beer, but unfortunately, their brewer sold out so now they just other breweries' local stuff. I have not seen this menu selection change. They are the same boring beers and there are much better options in Houston. But definitely worth coming to for the food. And sometimes they have fun random specials. Super cute front patio. This place has the potential to be a perfect neighborhood spot, but the bartenders there kill the vibe. They are very unfriendly. Doesn't matter if you are a new person or if you've been there a ton, most of them treat you as if you are a nuisance. Especially the little guy with the glasses. Not everybody, but most. When I moved to the area, I thought I would be there all the time. That has not been the case because there are much friendlier places to go. Recently, they reduced their hours. When I asked, they said no one was coming past 9ish. Gee, I wonder why? Could it be the rude tude?

Yelp
I am not local to the area and have had Southern Yankee Crafthouse saved in my Yelp bookmarks forever. So is had to stop in when I had the chance. I was not disappointed! They have an excellent beer and cocktail menu and I thoroughly enjoyed an old fashioned. The menu was awesome so I honestly had a hard time choosing what I wanted but ended up going with the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. It was delicious! Perfectly crispy and tender chicken with an excellent amount of dressing spread on top. The fries were also some of the best I've ever had. They were so good in fact that I ordered the appetizer of truffle fries AFTER the meal. So good. If I get another opportunity to go I'll likely try one of the pizzas as the majority of the people eating were eating one of them. The tika masala is the one I'm eyeing next. Definitely check them out.

Yelp
This evening I enjoyed dinner here sitting on the balcony facing Alabama. The servers were very friendly and attentive. I drank their lemonade tonight and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the most refreshing lemonade I've ever had. The perfect balance of tartness and sweetness with a fresh taste! For dinner I shared 3 different entrees with my wife. We had the sweet chili wings that had a nice crispy bite and just enough sauce to be well coated. The sweet & spicy pepperoni is such a simple but expertly made pizza with a moderate kick of heat balanced with sweetness. My favorite tonight kimchi crispy chicken bowl. It featured rice, plenty of colorful and fresh veggies, along with crunchy coated piece of chicken covered in yum yum and unagi sauce. It was an onslaught of color and flavor on an evening with weather that couldn't be beat to dine al fresco!

Yelp
Pet friendly spot with an parking lot across the street in a busy side of town- already off to a good start! We ordered the hummus and pita bread spread and I think it was my favorite part of the meal. The bread was so soft, hummus was great (a bit salty for me), and the veggies was the touch it needed! I ordered the craft burger and it was just ok! There was something on there that made the burger a bit too salty. Was I the one being salty that evening? Overall it was a nice experience either way. The servers were really nice, they brought a cup of water for our dog and were very attentive to us. We arrived when it was not too busy and it was only us with a dog, but when we left, several other people arrived along with their furry children. Definitely a fun place to swing by with your dog and hang out with some friends and enjoy your typical American burger or pizza meal!

Yelp
Very tasty! I had the hot and crunchy tuna and the beet salad and they were both so delicious, big portion sizes, and I'm still thinking about how great the sauce was. The back patio was really nice and cute too. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
I love their little patio! Their honey garlic wings are amazing, and they have a skillet cookie with ice cream which is amazing. I would pass on the paneer pizza and go with their more traditional pizza options. They also have happy hour deals on their cocktails.

Yelp
The H.B.B.C pizza and lamb chops were delicious! Service was quick and super helpful. Would definitely go again! The inside area definitely has a laid back style and is very cozy. Do note since it is a smaller space inside and was full of people the noise level was a bit elevated so it was hard to have a conversation, but that's expected in such a space.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. We had a pizza and fish snd chips. A little noisy for weekend lunch but food is great. Service was attentive and fast. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Great experience! The food was amazing, 0 complaints. The pretzel was delicious, wings were very good- we got the garlic honey soy. Next time will probably try a different flavor, but these were still good. Friend got the pizza and was very pleased. Service was reasonable speed wise, the server was very nice. We sat on the front patio, it was great weather this time of year. We enjoyed our dinner with friends! Not pictured was a daiquiri and beers! Also great.

Yelp
Food was excellent! Mole sauce was one of the best we have ever had. My buffalo chicken sandwich was 100% perfect. Drinks were excellent. Try the miso one! The servers worked in sync to cover everyone's needs. Outside porch was great, but too many pesky flies took some of the shine off.

Yelp
This spot had been on my restaurant bucket list for a while, and I was really glad that it lived up to the reviews. The spot itself has indoor and outdoor covered seating - we sat outside. The service appears to be provided by a team, at least that's how it seemed out on the patio. For the most part we felt this worked well and that service was good. For food: We started off with hummus, which was served with pita and veggies, and was really tasty! For my entrée, I got the "hot and crunchy trout,"which came with asparagus. It was a really yummy and unique dish and truly was spicy, which I really enjoyed. Others at our table got their wings, fries, and a burger. We were too full for dessert, but the options looked good. There's a ton of other items on the menu I'd like to try, so I think we'll be back. Unfortunately, I only took videos of the food and not photos!

Yelp
To start I love that they have a parking lot even though you have to cross a very busy street to get to them. Walking in they are very friendly and every one is there to help you. I have been in twice and both times the customer service is top notice. The place is small, but they do have a back patio with plenty of seating. Food: the pizza and burger were good, but nothing to out of the ordinary. The kids chicken was not good it was cooked either too much. They do have a great selection of beer and the drinks are good.
