Good food. Great service. Chill tunes. Your new favorite taco spot. Their taco bowls are delicious too! And definitely get the horchata, just get the 20oz. And their salsas are fire.

We've dined here twice in the past two weeks and will make this one of our regular spots from here on out. Food quality is excellent. We've had various tacos (chorizo, carne asada, chicken, al pastor) as well as the guacamole. All were fresh, high quality ingredients, and generous with the amount. Endearing service from the attentive cashier and gentleman serving the room and likely cooking. It's BYOB and he offered us a chilled pint glass for our beer which was above and beyond. You can tell they are proud of the new business and working to exceed expectations. And twice in a row they have. I'd expect this place to really take off given the combination of great food and great service. We'll be back often!

​Southport Taqueria on Diversey is a solid neighborhood spot when you're craving tacos that hit the spot without breaking the bank. I swung by for Taco Tuesday and ordered an Al Pastor taco ($4.95), a Chorizo taco ($4.50), and the SouthPort Special taco ($6.50) . The Al Pastor was juicy with a nice pineapple kick, and the Chorizo had that perfect spicy-salty balance. The SouthPort Special was loaded with guac, banana peppers, and queso fresco—definitely the standout. I also grabbed an Elote Street Style ($5.99), which was creamy and flavorful . The place has a chill, no-frills vibe, and the staff is super friendly. Only reason it's not a full five stars is that the steak taco I tried on a previous visit was a bit underseasoned, but overall, it's a great spot for a quick and tasty meal.​

So fire. Their tacos and burritos have soo much meat in them and it’s delicious! Also the peeps r friendly and they have a good selection of food, plus chips n salsa when you dine in.

This was by far the best tacos I’ve had in Lincoln Park, we had the Linda platter and each taco was incredible. It’s a BYOB spot if you’re into that, and the meal feels like it’s truly home cooked - can’t wait to go back.

Run, don’t walk, here ‘cause they are gonna be famous. Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Maybe the best food I’ve ever had. I got the flautas, elote and horchata. I’m still dreaming of that meal. I dined solo on a weekday afternoon and it was delightful. Just go.

Everything is delicious!! You should try the carne asada tacos or shrip! The enchiladas are very good! The staff is very attentive and welcoming!

We had a great lunch dining in at Southport Taqueria, all food tasted very fresh and homemade. We had guac and chips, fresh salsa, red lentil soup (outstanding) and chicken fajitas. All was excellent and generous portions. Very friendly service and atmosphere, this neighborhood place will be one of our regular spot from now on.

Have now been a few times. The owners had to delay opening due to some issues with their affiliate but we were so glad they finally opened. The owners are incredibly nice and even ran me down when I left my horchata on the counter for a takeaway order. Their queso con chorizo is incredible. My new favorite queso, no doubt. That chorizo is soooo good and in the queso it gets even better. We get it every time and now I'm thinking I want it again today for Taco Tuesday. The tacos are good, but some are a bit hit and miss. For instance, the steak is well cooked for the steak taco but it was fairly unseasoned. Conversely the fish and the chorizo tacos were super flavorful and really good. So I think it's just a bit of a matter of trying and finding what's best. So glad to have a local spot back in that location too!

The food is terrific especially the rice and beans, always fresh and cooked while you wait. Not ahead like some places. The staff is so friendly and kind. I'ts a gem of a place in a neighborhood that trully needed a pick me up. I highly encourage everyone to try it out.

So happy about this new neighborhood spot! Have come back twice now, each time the tacos we've tried have been delicious.

We stopped by last Thursday and each of chose a different item from the menu. We shared the guacamole and chips, and the sauce. Of the four us, one of us chose the Chicken Milanese, another, a beef taco, and my husband and I chose two different vegetarian options. The table service was perfect, the food was prepared with subtlety, and artful food-styling. We really enjoyed our lunch, and hope to come back again and again. This is our new favorite neighborhood spot! The staff is kind and welcoming!

Food and service are incredible! We love having this taqueria in our neighborhood. The owners are so kind also :)

Tacos are delicious! Horchata outstanding! My girlfriend got the elote appetizer and loved it. Even the chips and salsa were hitting. 10/10 recommend. Dined in and the service was outstanding, good out quick, very nice and polite workers. Family run vibes.
