4.83- This charming spot is a must-visit! While the chips arrived cool, they were incredibly fresh and paired perfectly with the warm, flavorful salsa—a unique and delicious surprise. Both the red and green sauces were excellent, and the rice was cooked to perfection. The tacos were nearly flawless, served on exceptional tortillas. To top it off, the customer service was outstanding. Great job!

Real authentic tacos surprisingly located in an area where you wouldn’t think you’d find it. Savory and smokey salsa. Got the Al Pastor, Carne Asada, and Birria. Al Pastor was delicious. The Carne Asada was definitely the star. A good Carne Asada is difficult to find because it can tend to be gristly, overcooked, and some places overly dress it with weird toppings. This place had no such problem. The meat was tender and seasoned - no gristle to be found. Great cuts. The service was friendly and the prices were fair. We’ll be back and would love if they opened a location in Wicker Park!

Catherine and Jimmy are such wonderful owners and make you feel truly welcome from the moment you walk in. After trying their amazing burrito yesterday, my family and I came back today for the tacos and they were absolutely incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and so authentic. We’re so happy we found this place. Definitely a new favorite! 🌮❤️

Had lunch there this week. The food is so fresh, portions are big, and prices are very reasonable. And I think the man that took care of me is the owner. He’s so lovely and kind. Would absolutely recommend this spot.

This place is a neighborhood gem. The food is fantastic; always freshly prepared and delicious. The birria burrito is so good and for the money, it can’t be beat. The owners are so friendly and welcoming every time we pick up food or eat in. I live a block away and am so thankful to have this place right around the corner. The guac!!! The tacos!!! All so so good. Eat here. Support local.

Really enjoyed these tacos. The meats on the Southport special, carne asada, and chorizo were all very flavorful. Authentic taqueria with very friendly service.

Extremely clean, well-priced hole-in-the-wall with a friendly guy at the counter, great food, and some of the best horchata I've ever had. Got free chips and excellent salsa with my order, tacos came with plenty of condiments, all for about $15 after tip. Restroom's available and clean too but it's tiny—and I mean like 4'x4', which might be a struggle for parents of small children and it isn't wheelchair accessible at all.

This place did not disappoint!!! A big menu, reasonably priced, and tasty. We had pescado, al pastor, and pollo tacos but the star of the show was the Elote. We will be back!

Have now been a few times. The owners had to delay opening due to some issues with their affiliate but we were so glad they finally opened. The owners are incredibly nice and even ran me down when I left my horchata on the counter for a takeaway order. Their queso con chorizo is incredible. My new favorite queso, no doubt. That chorizo is soooo good and in the queso it gets even better. We get it every time and now I'm thinking I want it again today for Taco Tuesday. The tacos are good, but some are a bit hit and miss. For instance, the steak is well cooked for the steak taco but it was fairly unseasoned. Conversely the fish and the chorizo tacos were super flavorful and really good. So I think it's just a bit of a matter of trying and finding what's best. So glad to have a local spot back in that location too!

The food is terrific especially the rice and beans, always fresh and cooked while you wait. Not ahead like some places. The staff is so friendly and kind. I'ts a gem of a place in a neighborhood that trully needed a pick me up. I highly encourage everyone to try it out.

So happy about this new neighborhood spot! Have come back twice now, each time the tacos we've tried have been delicious.

We stopped by last Thursday and each of chose a different item from the menu. We shared the guacamole and chips, and the sauce. Of the four us, one of us chose the Chicken Milanese, another, a beef taco, and my husband and I chose two different vegetarian options. The table service was perfect, the food was prepared with subtlety, and artful food-styling. We really enjoyed our lunch, and hope to come back again and again. This is our new favorite neighborhood spot! The staff is kind and welcoming!

Tacos are delicious! Horchata outstanding! My girlfriend got the elote appetizer and loved it. Even the chips and salsa were hitting. 10/10 recommend. Dined in and the service was outstanding, good out quick, very nice and polite workers. Family run vibes.
