"The Southwest Diner is a cute little diner on Boulder City's main drag. While their comfort food is worthy of its own review, their building's exterior and decoration probably attract just as much attention. From their vintage neon sign to the relics that wrap around the side of the building, it's worth taking a few minutes to explore before going inside to sample their "all-day" breakfast." - jmagsgraphics

Cozy neighborhood local diner feel. Interior looks like a bar. They have a huge menu of burgers. Kara my waitress was super energetic and peppy. She recommended the Kyle burger and it was very tasty. The strawberry rhubarb pie was tasty as well. It was very tarty which I loved and the pie crust was not thick and heavy tasting. I highly recommend this place after hiking around near the Hoover Damn. Thank you Kara for your attentive and energetic customer service!

Google
BEST breakfast I have had in years. I loved every minute of our time here. The food was top notch and did not have a single bad bite. Such a great little spot to see the community come to life during the early am hours. Loved that our server shared her story with us and invited us yo come back to see them again.

Took our family here for dinner on a Sunday and this place is very welcoming. There was live music playing and we got to choose songs with any $donation. The waitress was very friendly, ice cold lemonade served in huge mason jars, a menu with wide selection. Bartender was great and made a very good Margarita. Make sure if you go to order a slice of homemade pies.

Had breakfast here. Service was fabulous!! Waitress was friendly, courteous, and attentive. We both had omelets and hashbrowns. I had toast, and my husband had the banana bread. Food was very tasty and beware the portions are big. We left satisfied and fuĺl!! Definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area. Just make sure you're hungry!!!

We stopped for breakfast at Southwest diner on it way from Vegas to the Grand Canyon. Suzie Q was a delight and the food was delicious! The Denver Omelette, those potatoes and banana bread did not disappoint. We wanted to try the rhubarb pie and wow!! Definitely do not skip dessert here!! An added bonus was the coconut scrub in the restrooms. I hope we are able to return soon.

Google
Such a great little dinner, about thirty minutes out of Vegas. I got the Denver omelette with “those” potatoes. Loved it all, lots of meat in the omelette with a good taste. Rhubarb pie was very tasty. And little miss Susie Q is exactly what you would want in a waitress, took a good experience to a perfect level. She is amazing!!

Google
There are several really good breakfast spots in town and this is definitely one of them. If you're staying in town, it's probably the best being that it's just across the street from the Best Western Hotel and just a short walk from many of the other old school motels as well. I should note that it can get VERY CROWDED here especially on a nice weekend so be prepared to wait a bit as it is worth the wait. Certainly, the food is very tasty, the service is fast and friendly and the charm of this place really puts an exclamation mark on what makes Boulder City so much fun! As far as what to order goes, all the dishes are great but my wife's favorite is the Chile Relleno Breakfast Casserole and she always gets it with the Banana Nut Bread -YUM!! And yes, I always steal a few bits of it. Me, I love the Chilaquiles with eggs over medium especially being that it's served divorced style with a red and green sauce on each side of the plate. Of course, when it's nice out, make sure to dine in the shaded patio as it really is nice.

Google
WHAT A DELICIOUS PLACE!! Stopped here on our way to the Hoover Dam. I ordered the Chilaquiles, which were super delicious! Both red and green sauces were tasty, and I couldn't get enough of it! Would highly recommend to stop here for breakfast. Service was wonderful. Coffee was great as well.

Yelp
After being told by a place up the street that it would be 40 minutes to get a table by a hostess that seemed like she was forced to show up, we rode down to this lovely spot. We were delighted to receive fast, friendly service by smiling Susie R. Huge drinks served in big mason jars. Delicious chicken fried steak with country potatoes and great tasting home made gravy made for a great experience that surprised us. Their thing here is the banana bread. I opted for the banana bread instead of regular toast and it's nice they give you a choice. Ambiance is tasteful decor that cleverly used ladders and old windows throughout the restaurant. Kudos to your decor artist! I'd definitely come back here when traveling through here. If you have time go up to the Hemenway Park and see some beautiful wildlife in the form of big horn sheep. Sorry no pics of food. I was so hungry half the plate of food was gone by the time

Yelp
Southwest Diner is located on the corner of Fifth and Nevada Hwy. it is easy to locate and access. Limited street parking is available as well as a small private lot behind the establishment. There is patio dining available where pets are welcome. Inside has two different decors; the original side is quaint with a small town kind of feel, whereas the new (remodeled?) side is more modern and streamlined. Servers greeted us warmly upon arrival. While our party was dining, I noticed that the waitstaff greeted a handful of regulars by name. Clearly, Southwest Diner is loved by the locals!! We had a rather large party of adults and a handful of small children, but Marisol took care of us with a smile and with efficiency. The food was served in generous portions and was prepared with love and care. It's typical diner fare, nothing that we ordered was gourmet, but it was definitely familiar, hearty, comfort food. The quality and portions of the food AND the friendliness and efficiency of the servers will have me stopping by again next time I'm in town.

Yelp
ZERO STARS So my husband and I came in on Saturday. And I ordered the avocado toast and my husband got a breakfast burrito. His burrito was good but mine was sad. But our breakfast was quickly ruined by staff due to the manager being very rude to me when I wasn't rude at all to her at all. Actually I was very calm and couldn't believe what was happening. My toast barely came with any avocado on it. Seemed like it was 1/2 of a 1/2 of an avocado. And very overloaded with scrambled eggs. So my husband asked the waitress if I could get a little more avocado. She then said she will get a manager and we didn't ask for a manager. Manager came over and was practically snapping at me over just a little more avocado request. She told me that there is a problem every time I come in and I haven't been here in a month and the last time 2 times I ordered I got just got toast and hot tea. Only time I had them take back a dish was last summer and it was because of an allergy I have and that particular item has to be cooked very well done and ever since then I just saved myself the time and only been ordering toast but this time I decided to order the avocado toast but realized that it was a mistake. I told them to just take it off my check because she wanted to stand there and belittle me and try to embarrass me which didn't work. I'm glad my husband stepped in and said something because no customer should be made to feel that way. He paid for his food and got the owners number and we were welcomed by the coffee cup after this ordeal. My husband called the owner and that conversation didn't go well at all. I could hear her yelling at him and cursing and just being very nasty about the whole situation. She stated she doesn't care about customer allergies and I could hear her yelling she doesn't care because it's not her problem and calling my husband a liar over and over again like a little child. My husband kept trying to asked her so if a customer asks for a steak well done and it comes put rare a customer has no rights to send the dish back? She kept yelling at him repeatedly and then told him that no customers don't have rights to send anything back. But my thing is why does she have to act like such a child. I could hear her constantly yelling at him and not allowing him to speak and he kept his composure very well when many would have lost it. I also heard her say because the rising cost of food she raises her prices and cut down what you get on the portion. That's fine but if it hardly comes with avocado for almost $15 you should probably not call it avocado toast. She told him to fuck off and hung up on him after all the yelling that she felt compelled to do. Also if a customer asks for something maybe not insult them and belittle the repeat paying customer. Just avoid this location and go to the coffee cup where they treat their customers with respect and are happy to accommodate if something is wrong with your food because clearly this owner only cares about the bottom line and how much she can make offer customers. Someone is gonna get really sick one day and she will be sued and hopefully she will have to close down and lose her business. But so yeah now she does have to deal with my lawyer and BBB because I felt very discriminated against and now not accommodating on food allergies is very negligent. Just avoid them and go somewhere that has quality food and service and avoid places like this that are anti-American.

Yelp
We go here every time we pass through. Good food , good prices and nice patio and in door dinning. Wish I can try other local places but hubby is a creature of habit! We know this place is good ! no ohotos Perfect over med egg , bacon crispy and good, potatoes awesome, looked like home made sourdough bread hubby had and he had the biscuits and gravy. Everything great! Service good

Trish W.

Yelp
Service was very good, however everything on the breakfast plate was overcooked, hash browns were burned, ham was very hard to cut, bacon was extremely overcooked, very dry and brittle, avocado toast was just ok, ordered without egg and was charged the same price, which I thought was overpriced.

Franklin M.

Yelp
The other popular diner down the street was too busy and had a long wait so we came here. This restaurant was busy too but we were lucky and got seated immediately inside. The interior was decorated with a Xmas tree and near the restroom there was a fireman's display. The waitress came by with our iced water and we ordered a veggie omelet, potatoes, sourdough bread, and a side of pancakes. Just as a warning the plates are big and so are the pancakes this was more than enough food for the both of us. The service was great, the food came out fast, and it was delicious. We left very happy.

Justine S.

Yelp
I wanted to drop a quick note to let you know how blown away we were by Southwest Diner in Boulder City. The Pork Chili Verde omelette was probably the best omelette we have ever eaten! The potatoes were like you would make at home and that banana bread is soooo moist and delicious! What a great option instead of toast! Brianna provided exceptional service--so easy to talk to and we selected that omelette based on her recommendation. Then we sampled the cucumber salt scrub at the sink in the restroom. Wow, had to buy that on the way out. Love the décor too, so quaint and cozy. We can't wait to come back and plan on making Southwest Diner a stop to and from Vegas!!!

Nathan C.

Yelp
My family and I just stop by the southwest diner, after we went out to take pictures of the Hoover Dam earlier today. Also, I recently got the salmon salad with honey mustard, strawberry lemonade, and the side of the Texas toast bread. The pit stop is great for breakfast and lunch as well as all day long. Anyway, it's good to honor the police officers and firefighters who served in Las Vegas for a long time.

Brittney B.

Yelp
Service is great, my liquid food is yummy and spicy it's a cute little place with outside dining and indoors

Ellen F.

Yelp
Came for breakfast but ended up eating one of the best chili Verde burritos ever! Food is quality and filling! Coffee is great! Staff is so sweet and fun. Lots of seating. They sell fresh made pies to go as well as killer hot sauces! We had to grab a bottle of the red one to go it was that good.

Foodie G.

Yelp
Terrible. Rude server with fake lips was nasty when I asked for a different table. Her butt was showing because her bodysuit didn't fit. $60 for 2 people to eat lunch is ludicrous. Worst "homemade" mac and cheese I've ever tasted, wouldn't feed it to my dog. Burger had zero flavor.

Claudia S.

Yelp
This review is for "The Bar Next Door" which seems to be part of the Southwest Diner. The new restaurant is very cute, open floor plan and the bar is really nice. The server was not clear on the menu as we were offered sides then told it would be extra for them as another server told her it was not part of the price. The Mac &Cheese was $19 bucks for the bowl with a garlic bread stick. The cheese sauce was gritty as if it had not been mixed well. The queso dip was good but some of the chips were stale. The wonton tacos were tasty but just had an excess amount of pulled pork with nothing else and got cold really fast. Just had water as the non-alcohol drinks were a bit pricey. I know this place is fairly new so I hope that the food gets better over time as Boulder City does need some more restaurants for locals to visit.

Lisa B.

Yelp
Delicious late lunch here for six of us. Seated promptly and a very cute vibe. The restaurant was about 70% full at the time. Our server was attentive and quick at taking our orders. They have specials posted around the restaurant. Also a pie counter. Food service was timely. Everyone was happy with their choices. The ice tea was fresh and tasty. Hash browns were crisp and good. Chili relleno casserole enjoyable. Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, gravy, and broccoli tasted great. We opted for more gravy. One minor point was cold banana bread with cold butter as a side. Took some home and when it is warmed in oven with room temp butter so good. Be back to try other items. Fair prices, great service, good food, and nice quaint town to walk around after a meal. Easy parking.

Yelp
Now sure why it has changed so much. Have eaten here at least 10 time and the food was always really good and they offered a nice variety in the menu. No matter what time of day or day of the week it was always crowded. It was lunch time when we walked in and there were only 3 other tables with customers. The new menus is more like a breakfast and burger place. All the thing I really enjoyed were left off. The floors were dirty with garbage from the last customers and the staff just kept walking by it. No one cleaned up the garbage on the floor the whole time we were there. It was not hard to miss the things that were on the floor. Fortunately our table was clean. Service was OK but did not provide straws when drinks were dropped oof and they left before was could ask for some. We did flag someone down who provided them. We both ordered baskets and gravy and a side of pancakes. Not much different from what you would get from a Denny's. So disappointed in the changes that have been made. My favorite go to place in Boulder City is not longer a place I go to. So sad.

Kaye P.

Yelp
The food was very good. Home style cooking. Our server was Emily. She was very sweet. It was a really cute country vibe. I loved it. It was clean, smelled good, and was comfy. They offer a military discount. The food was priced well. The best part they served our drinks in big Mason jars! I look forward to going back. O and the views are nice too.

Stef A.

Yelp
This was a really cute spot on our way to hoover dam! The service was quick and the food came out quickly also. The chili verde was smokey and well seasoned. I liked the crispy tortillas and potatoes. My boyfriend and I ate a lot for what we felt was a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Kathleen K.

Yelp
Excellent freshly made Corned Beef Hash. Portions are large .Banana bread is a must. Plenty of seating inside and out with good space in between. Plenty of wait staff for immediate seating and table clearing when your done. Adding this to our breakfast rotation.

Laurie V.

Yelp
Solid menu. Maybe not a place I would find myself coming back to again and again, but not a bad choice for lunch. The patio gets a bit hot, even with the covering-type-things that are supposed to create shade. So maybe eat inside instead. I wish I had taken some photos. Some of the decor is a little kitschy and tacky, but it didn't go unappreciated. Breakfast is served all day. I might have ordered the wrong thing, because the chile relleno dish was not exactly what I had expected. We were a party of six and one person in our group had the Reuben which looked to be the most delicious thing at our table, but she said it was "just okay". Maybe we should have tried the pies......I have not given up hope here, but I think we all could have ordered something different and maybe been more excited.

Bianca V.

Yelp
Such a cozy diner and was the perfect spot to try in Boulder City! We were going to Tom Devlin Monster Museum down the street for the Halloween season and wanted to try a unique place you can't find in Vegas We tried their happy hour and had apps such as nachos, meatballs, potato skins, won ton tacos and fried mozzarella! They were homemade and made from scratch and the food was so impressive!! We shared a piece of peanut butter pie for dessert! They also make all their pies from scratch and had take away sweets available for purchase Annabelle was a great server and was very helpful in guiding us to try certain items and provided stellar service ! Can't wait to go back !!

John D.

Yelp
Food is very good. Service is excellent and the ambience is cozy friendly and small town.

Margaret P.

Yelp
The bartenders Sarah and Emily are fantastic. Drinks are amazing. Service is 1000% fantastic and food is great. Will definitely be back.

Gerry W.

Yelp
Stop in to have a late lunch at 3 PM. We were immediately seated They have an outdoor patio curb side but we chose to sit inside. The diner has a comfortable southwest atmosphere. The entire restaurant is full of art memorabilia from back in the day. Service was prompt The menu has a larger selection of items for breakfast lunch and dinner. I ordered a cup of the soup of the day which was clam chowder. There were plenty of clams and potatoes. Very good soup. A loaf of bread and butter arrived along with our entrée. We shared an order of meatloaf. The entrée was large enough for 2 people plus some to take home. The meal was 3 slices of meat, mash potatoes gravy with onions, cheese and sweet corn. The meat was tender and delicious. The diner is an easy drive from home so we will have to try them for breakfast.

Gayle S.

Yelp
This was a hard review to post. We've always been loyal to this restaurant and Cindy. Today was the most disappointing experience we've ever had. Many of our favorite menu choices were not available any more. Our server took our order in her head. Got both of our orders wrong. And took a long time to even bring the check. The prices have gone up by 25/30%. We said we'd never go back again. Sorry

Steven W.

Yelp
If you haven't already, you need to try one of their delicious pies! We are particularly fond of the cherry. Although not packed, it was busy. Didn't seem to slow down the servers as they moved from one table to another, taking orders & bringing meals. Several specials are shown on their blackboard, but none "spoke" to us. As usual the food was good, service was better & prices were reasonable. However, we did have an annoying fly trying to cut in our our meals.

Denise H.

Yelp
I would've given this "0" stars, but the server was so apologetic and friendly. Not only have the prices soared this past year or so, but the quality of the food has gone down. As well as they no longer offer their famous "homemade" wheat toast. But the worst part was that when we recently visited & was served our breakfast (which I could get better at Farmer Boys), there was a long black hair in my potatoes. I immediately mentioned to the server before she left our table & she apologized & said she'll have them make me another breakfast, but after that I was no longer hungry as I had lost my appetite. Always was a nice place long ago, but we definitely won't be going back.

Leonard F.

Yelp
The food was very, very good. The service was amazing. Robin remembered our names. She was very nice. The ambience is starting to look really nice. Keep up the good work.

Lourdes V.

Yelp
If you know me, you know I'm a fan of a real good grilled cheese with fries and a Diet Coke I'm always on the hunt for places that serve simple old fashion yummy GC. Well, my grandma Dolores Simon suggested going to the SouthWest dinner in Historic downtown Boulder City. They have been here for almost 3 decades and serve food in old fashioned- what grandma used to make-home cooking. And their Grilled Cheese did not disappoint. The bread was toasted just right, with the perfect amount of gooey cheese, and perfect fries. Loved the decor, a beautiful slice of Americana, great service and the perfect local spot.

Robert P.

Yelp
Staying in Boulder for a couple of nights. Southwest Diner was right next to our motel. A dog friendly patio made it an easy choice to make. We were seated immediately on the patio and our waitress took our drink orders. The patio is right on the street so I was a little noisy but not unbearable. There is a shade over it so you are not in the direct sun. I ordered a chicken sandwich with the onion rings. My wife got a chili Verde burrito. Both were really good but the onion rings were really the star. They were breaded with panko crumbs and had great flavor. We will be back again to try the breakfast

Mahler J.

Yelp
Excellent Chicken Picatta and Steak dinner! Amazing service! Highly recommended for any meal at Southwest Diner in Boulder City , NV.

Ariella U.

Yelp
I was visiting boulder city from vegas, i knew there wasn't much food options coming here in the first place so you would think this diner would be really good, especially being it always seems to be packed. My husband ordered the 12oz steak, he asked for medium which is supposed to be PINK in the middle. when he received it the steak was well done. It also came with a side of BURNT broccoli & flavorless mashed potatoes the food was especially bland. the only good thing was the lemonade! how can you mess up mashed potatoes?!? the service was okay. it was nice in there but it's very small and can get crowded quickly. and the price is outrageous for that well done flavorless steak meal he payed $34!!! this place is a JOKE i do not recommend. 0/10.

Josh H.

Yelp
My wife and I loved eating here at one point however the current state on how customers are treated at this establishment is appalling. My wife has an allergy and has sent something back to get to cooked very well done and i guess that's wrong now. We ate there this weekend and my wife ordered the avocado toast and we have ordered this several times before and both pieces of toast had a good amount of avocado on it. This time it only came on 1 and there was barely anything on it this time. So I asked if she can get a little more avocado and apparently this is wrong too. The waitress then got a manager when we didn't ask for one we just wanted what comes on the toast that's it. Manager came over with a small cup of avocado and presumed to be very rude, condescending, and very unprofessional towards my wife. Told my wife that every time we come in there is something wrong with the food. No there is not. For one we haven't been in for a while and 2nd we sent back that other item 1 time because when a customer asks for something when ordering and it comes out wrong, it gets sent back. So she belittled my wife so I decided to pay for my food and just leave because my wife didn't deserve the treatment she got at all. No one deserves to be belittled at a restaurant. Was told to contact the owner so I did. I let her know what was going on and she called me a lier and that customers have no rights to send anything back even if it's wrong and told me that she doesn't give a shit about customer allergies. Oh and because of food costs she cut the amount of avocado that is put on it and she raised the prices too. All she did was yell at me over the phone and wouldn't allow me to talk at all and was just a very nasty person and doesn't deserve to be in the customer service industry especially if you are a racist. Still a very bad practice and the amount of unprofessionalism that came from the owner was ridiculous. Not only they don't care about customers they don't care if you die or end up in a hospital over your allergy. We called the coffee cup and explained what happened at this business and they got us in immediately because of the inconvenience of another business and they didn't mind my wife's allergies and made the food correctly. AVOID this place like the plague because they discriminate against people and the owner doesn't care about customers at all and only care about the amount of money she makes off everyone. So now we have a lawyer involved and BBB due to discrimination and negligence. Just go to the coffee cup and save yourself the grief that we went through

Eve S.

Yelp
We stopped here because where we originally wanted to go was way too packed. We were so glad we did! The servers were phenomenal and got us seated right away and got our drink orders. I'm a big coffee drinker and I really loved the flavor of their coffee and the adorable cups they come in. The banana bread was AMAZING, I had to buy some and take it home. It didn't even make it home considering we live out of town. The chile relleno casserole was cheesy, flavorful, and oh so filling! The potatoes were nothing to write home about but they were still delicious. Stop in and get you some banana bread or a delicious pie! The restaurant has also expanded to allow for more seating and shorter wait times!

Vic A.

Yelp
This place is little gem in Boulder City. Every time I come down into Boulder City I try and stop here to grab a bite to eat. It gives off small town diner vibes. It's decorated old school, has an outdoor patio, and a small bar inside. The service is always up to par. Friendly and fast staff. The food is amazing. They serve breakfast lunch and some dinner as well. One of my favorites is the California sandwich. It has Fresh turkey, bacon, tomatoes and cheddar cheese on grilled sourdough, and I added a side of avocado today. It was amazing. I highly recommend checking this place out if you go into Boulder City

Glow H.

Yelp
SO grateful for cooler mornings & a day off at school!! Family breakfast at our FAVORITE restaurant!! Also, very happy to see that they are expanding!!!

Jordan F.

Yelp
the food was awesome! i got the divorced eggs with potatoes and they were wonderful. my husband got the breakfast special #3 and said it was above average. the customer service was amazing and our waitress was so friendly and kind. it had a cute, small town vibe and was everything that we wanted and expected. the exterior decor was exciting and exceptional and the christmas decorations ATE more than we did. #bigbackactivities

Yvette S.

Yelp
If you want good old comfort diner food, this is definitely a spot to try and fill that belly! Service was great and the food was satisfying. I loved the home cooked meal feeling. I only wish I had saved some room for desserts. They have plenty of parking out front and prices are very decent.

Mary W.

Yelp
Congratulations to the entire Southwest diner crew. The new extension is outstanding. They did change the menu up a little bit, but it is great. They still have those potatoes. I tried the chorizo eggs Benedict and it was fantastic. They still have the best iced tea in boulder. I took some pictures the new bar everything just looks great thanks again.

Angie W.

Yelp
The new expansion is fantastic!! Some new food to try! We have a chorizo expended, which were really yummy little spicy the way I like it!!

Matt R.

Yelp
We actually pulled up at the bar next door but got to enjoy the specials from Southwest Diner. The food was good, hearty potions, classic American fare with a southwest twist/influence. But let's talk about the bar for a second. Crafted cocktails, open space, and homage to our First Responders. I had the Crushed Mango Mule and the special cocktail of the month and each one was absolutely delicious. Mad props to our bartender, Sarah, for providing timely service and a homey atmosphere. Will def be coming back!

Lori T.

Yelp
On our way to Hoover Dam from Bullhead City we turned to Boulder City for lunch. I ordered onion rings with a small salad and my man got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a cup of soup. The food was good but the service, like everyone says, was fantastic and friendly! The restaurant has a hometown vibe with lots of memorabilia.

Jackie O.

Yelp
Cute diner! Good amount of favorable menu options, in my opinion. I ordered the clubhouse sandwich with sweet potato fries which was really good. I'd order that again! My husband ordered their hot dog with chili cheese fries. He said the hot dog was really good but the chili cheese fries was just meh. He said it tasted like chili from a can. We ordered an apple pie to go. This was the most disappointing thing! I don't think I've ever had a pie that was not sweet. It was so noticeable! There was no sugar in the pie! It tasted like really tangy apples with cinnamon filling but absolutely no sweetness. I'm not sure if this was a mistake or how they make it! Maybe they ran out of bulk sugar on pie-making day! In any case...probably won't try any of the other pies. I actually really wanted to try the coconut pie as my first option, but they didn't have any available that day.

Joyce T.

Yelp
Cucumber salad, a heavenly tart-sweet-creamy-dreamy creation. Just get it! Rhubarb pie, stuffed with firm rhubarb, not the drippy type. Just get it! I enjoyed their chili deluxe. They have their own habanero bottled sauce. Check the board for even more dishes, missed the beef stroganoff. Will get that next! Friendly and sweet service. Patrons were quietly speaking and enjoying their meals. Made my meal even more enjoyable. Iced tea and water are served in those large mason jars. Their utensils are in plastic bags, so clean! I like that. Lots of parking, but side street parking was easier.

Nathan W.

Yelp
This Diner is the best in the valley. It has the intimate Mom & Pop feel with exquisite detail to flavor and Southwest influence. Do not miss the opportunity to try the chili relleno casserole.

Carol S.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Our server was attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere was charming. The local draft beer was refreshing. The southwest chicken fiesta salad and hangover burger were creative and excellent!!

Steven C.

Yelp
The perfect breakfast spot in Boulder City. Highly recommend the southwest burrito! Love the service and ambiance. Always make a stop when we come to town and recommend to anyone visiting Vegas to come try it out.

Mike C.

Yelp
I am giving it the 5 Star for everything done well. The service is good, the food tastes homemade, the breakfast is good, and the pies are real good. Nothing is specatular here, but everthing is always good and that is why the 5 Stars from me.

Mr R.

Yelp
Stopped on our way to the dam and we were very happy with the service & the food. The sandwiches were very good portions and salad was ver fresh. Prices were very reasonable especially compared to prices in las Vegas.

Yelp
Our tour guide from Hoover Dam recommended this restaurant. The waitress was very rude. We were very hungry and me and my daughter are gluten free. She wouldn't even ask the cook if there was flour in fajitas. She refused... just said we don't have anything special for any allergies. She wouldn't even try to help us figure out what we could eat. Then we got our food and it was sub-par. Beef fajitas- that were described as steak were the tiniest small pieces of beef and there were only a few. Not worth $23! I would not go here again. Our bill for 5 people was $200. Ridiculous

Yelp
Excellent! After we were turned away from The Tap due to an incoming tour bus (even though they were supposed to close 4 hours later; and the tour bus arrived as we were leaving Southwest Diner), we tried Southwest instead. The food was excellent, but the service was even better. Kameron took great care of us and we were extremely pleased. This place is great and highly recommended.
