Yelp
If I were reviewing this restaurant just for the food, the rating would be a 4. The food was good and plentiful. Two of us shared the Ultimate Feast. It is definitely enough for three or more. One other in our group had lasagna and the other had manicotti. The red sauce was a little thick and made it a little difficult to eat but overall it was enjoyable.
The review for the staff would be 0 if possible. On average, we eat out at least 3 times a week and have been to numerous restaurants. This experience was, by far, the worst ever. The hosts were unprofessional and unfriendly. The young lady who was our server made it a point to tell us she was brand new. (Her named began with an M, something like Maymar) Apparently she had little if any training. She was so soft spoken we had to ask her to repeat herself three times. She took a drink order but had no known of what wines or beers were available. I asked for a white wine, but she had to ask at the bar what was available. She returned only to say it was a classic white. I asked what brand but she didn't know. The others ordered water. One ordered a Stella Artois but she had to check on that also. She returned with the wine, no water and to inform us Stella Artois was not available.
She finally took our order, poorly. She wasn't sure what was on the menu, how It was served or what it was. She didn't even bother to ask if we wanted a side salad or soup as listed on the menu.
When the food finally came out, she didn't bother to clear the appetizer dishes or empty glasses while trying to shove the food on the table. She only returned to the table twice, once when we were almost done and the second to ask if we wanted anything else, even though she walked past us multiple times. I finally had to ask for dessert. She had to be asked to clear the plates and then only took two at a time (because she only had two hands).
If our visit were based on her service only, we would never return. A side note: It is very unprofessional to have staff visit with friends, be on their phone and ignoring guests while working. One host had a friend visit who sat on the table in the front lobby .
