Inside the Benjamin, a Glamorous Art Deco Restaurant in LA From Ben Hundreds - Eater LA

"For the menu, Shenassafar tapped Johnny Cirelle, who formerly worked at Spago, Bavel, and Bestia, to be the executive chef." - Rebecca Roland

Spago Review - The Strip - Las Vegas - The Infatuation

"Aside from strapping on water shoes and wading right in (which we assume you know is a bad idea and probably illegal), Spago has the best view you can find of the Bellagio fountains. Make a reservation on the patio and pause the conversation every 30 minutes while a massive amount of water shoots out of the ground. The menu is a bit all over the place, with Spanish-influenced appetizers, seafood towers, and homemade pastas, and can get pretty pricey. But it’s basically dinner and a show all wrapped up in one and you won’t have to put 17 tickets to Cirque du Soleil on your card for after." - Milena DiFiore

Had lunch for my daughters birthday there and the food as excellent. The food was amazing with great service and atmosphere. The attendants were so polite and great makes you feel having a home meal. Place was clean and organised and they were kind to offer my daughter a free cake with candles in her birthday. Many parking spaces available some paid and some free:

I went to Spago last week to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and we had a wonderful experience. This is one of my partner’s favourite restaurants, and it’s easy to see why. Everything was great -- the service was excellent, and the dishes were simple but delicious. I especially enjoyed the aglio olio and the burrata; both were uncomplicated yet full of flavour. The overall atmosphere made the evening feel special without being too formal. Definitely a place we’d love to come back to!

I really enjoyed my visit to Spago! The food was amazing — the pizza was fresh, cheesy, and full of flavor, and the pasta tasted homemade. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. The restaurant has a nice cozy vibe, perfect for family or friends.

Ordered drinks from a seamingly full drink menu. I had a Roma martini and wife had a espresso martini. We both loved our drinks. Complementary bread with roasted garlic came while our orders were being prepared. I had the special which was lamb shank on a bed of parmeasan risotto. Wife had the cheese manicotti. We both enjoyed our meals. Service was good. Busy location in the heart of Little Italy.

Reservations were made for the day at 7:00 PM and arrived there a few minutes early. 7:00 PM rolls around, no table is free, completely defeating the purpose of a reservation. 7:10 rolls around, waitresseses stare at me standing at the door as they continue to do their business tending to other customers. Around 7:15, we are finally ushered to our table. In the 15 minutes I was at the door, I observed two different tables get food boxed and receipts handed, and the individuals stayed at their table for a while before I got one of the two tables. I would argue it is up to the employees to *kindly* let customers know who have ate and paid already that they are busy and advise they should free a table up for the next person. This next point is more subejctive, but the foods and pricing has become a problem (this is my personal sign not to return to Spagos). Look at the image I linked below of a bowl with TWO golf-ball-sized meatballs drenched in pasta sauce (dish is Polpetti Classico), how much do you think they charge for it? $8 CAD? $10 CAD? Try $18 CAD. I actually laughed when the waitress brought the plate out because of how ridicously small-sized the portion was. You would think they are trying to fatten up a rich anorexic person with the portion served, it is silly. I learned my lesson to ask the portion size they serve first before deciding if I want an item - fooled me once, but definitely no longer. I also got the pollo alla parmigiana, and that was just tasteless overall. The chicken must have had a lot of bad karma in its past life being cooked and served in such a horrendous fashion... The only thing that was partially nice was the renovated space, but who cares what the space looks like when the food is overpriced and served in small portions that would only satisfy a smurf. If you ever run into the conundrum of choosing this place for food over cooking your own, trust me and save your own money, you will find out you are actually a chef compared to....

Had a lovely experience at Spago in Windsor! While the food may not be exactly like in Italy, it’s still a solid 4.5 out of 5 — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I’m rounding it up to 5 stars because of the overall atmosphere and the excellent service. The staff were warm, attentive, and truly made the visit special. Definitely a place worth coming back to!
