Houston’s Best Mexican Restaurants | Eater Houston

"Since its inception in 1979, this Mexican restaurant has grown to offer its traditional fare around four locations in the area, including its newest spot in The Woodlands. Start with the loaded Spanish Flower nachos, layered with fajita meat, taco meat, beans, and traditional toppings, then indulge in one of our specialties, such as carne guisada or the 8-ounce rib-eye and enchilada combo plate." - Kayla Stewart

Spanish Flowers - Review - The Heights - Houston - The Infatuation

"When you’ve only ever encountered something at night, seeing it in the bright light of day can be an unwelcome reality check. One too many late-night trips to Spanish Flowers lead us to believe the queso here is better than it is. It is not. It’s a bland, plasticine bowl of cheesy nothing, and it should stay where it belongs: served after 2am when only 13 pounds of Tex-Mex food can set right whatever you wronged earlier that evening." - Chelsea Thomas

Best Late-Night Restaurant Dining in Houston: Where to Eat After Hours | Eater Houston

"With three locations in the Houston area, this beloved Tex-Mex establishment has been serving up bites to night owls for over 30 years. Expect stiff margaritas alongside sizzling fajitas, cheesy enchiladas, tacos, and seafood platters served with tortillas made from scratch. Feast on the molcajete — a hearty helping of grilled rib-eye, chicken, jalapeno sausage, shrimp, and panela cheese, served with a jalapeno toreado and Mexican cactus on a hot lava rock. Hours vary depending on location but the Main Street outpost is open all day Friday through Sunday and until midnight Monday through Thursday." - Brittany Britto Garley

31 Excellent Late-Night Restaurants in Houston

"This beloved Tex-Mex establishment has been serving up bites to night owls for over 30 years. With three locations in the Houston area, expect stiff margaritas alongside sizzling comals of fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, seafood platters, and even vegetarian options. The tortillas are made from scratch and what better way to end a night than by ordering its molcajete — a hearty helping of grilled ribeye, chicken, jalapeno sausage, shrimp, panela cheese, a jalapeno toreado, and Mexican cactus all served on a hot lava rock. The food pairs excellently with a cerveza or two, refreshing agua frescas, or its house margaritas. Hours vary depending on location, but the Main Street outpost stays open for 24 hours Friday through Sunday and until midnight Monday through Thursday." - Sean Hekmat, Brittany Britto Garley

Google
I truly wish I could leave a glowing review, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. The restaurant is clean and housed in a beautiful building, and I have to commend our server for their patience and the manager for being exceptionally friendly. However, the service was disappointingly slow—our food took an excessive amount of time to arrive, and there was a long wait for refills and tortillas needed to complete the meal. Additionally, I was given incorrect pricing for my large house margarita, with a discrepancy of nearly $4. Chips and salsa were really good tasting but rest of the food was so so. To top it off, we opted for the birthday experience for my son, as his birthday is in three days, only to later find out that it wasn’t complimentary. While the atmosphere and staff were great, these issues significantly impacted my overall experience.

We first came here about 3 years ago. We loved it so much we decided to come back on a random Sunday night. Food was excellent, drinks were strong and yummy. My only complaint is that it took forever to get our food and drinks. My order was also slightly off, but no one came to check in on us. They were super understaffed, which isn’t the servers fault. Everyone was running around helping each other out which was nice to see. I recommend sitting on the rooftop if it’s open too! They have a dj and it’s just a whole lot of fun! We sat outside, it was quiet and peaceful (besides the 2 parties that were very ghetto and loud).

Second time visiting. We came exclusively because they usually play really fun loud music for birthdays but when it came time for the cake their sound system didn't work. It was a bit awkward but the service was great, and the food was just as great. The happy hour was also excellent. It was just unfortunate about the music not working because we had family drive an hour away but would definitely keep stopping by for the food alone.

We showed up at about 10am and were a party of 5. We had to ask our waiter twice for the breakfast menu, which was unusual. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Coffee was also very good and came in a nice, old-fashioned ceramic mug. The freshly-squeezed OJ was one of, if not the best, that I've ever had. Lovely Mexican atmosphere! I will be back if I'm ever in the area! PS, make sure to lock your vehicle, cause car theft seems to be a regular occurence at this restaurant. They even have a large sign saying that they're not responsible for theft...you'd think they'd want to prevent it, not encourage it?!

Google
I’m a little disappointed because the restaurant has potential but our server failed miserably! The only reason I give this place a 2 star is because the manager was nice and the enchiladas were good. I ordered a margarita with the miniature patron and the server dropped the bottle inside my drink at the table.. why he dug it out with his fingers and said oh I’m sorry. I literally felt like I was on punked or unwanted at the establishment. Then the manager offered to make me a new drink but the server brought me a totally different drink than what was ordered. We only stayed due it being after 8 and the manager. The food took quite some time to come to us as well. This was my worse experience in a long time in a restaurant in the city I love so much. I’m disappointed!!! Great job spoiling our dinner Mr. Server we won’t be back for sure!

LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!!!!!! Hi, I came here for my friend's birthday celebration expecting a good time with a great atmosphere and who I was met with? Disaster! While the drinks are amazing and we would love to keep them going the service and the food is less than desirable. I ordered the seafood guacamole, and although it looked pleasing to the eye, the flavors did not mesh well together it tasted as if the shrimp was bad and it led into the guacamole. The next dish would be the queso with the beef now I tried to return my order, but the manager was pretty aggressive and made it seem as if I needed to order another appetizer instead of just not having an appetizer at all. The queso was extremely watery with no flavor. The last meal that we tried would be fajitas we got chicken beef and shrimp. The beef was overcooked. The shrimp tasted all right, but there was no salt and the flavor simply wasn’t there. I called the manager over and let him know that we wanted to return the dishes. There was nothing left. I immediately received aggression from the manager and hostility. He immediately told me that they could only take 15% off because we had already returned a dish and it was unacceptable and the business cannot handle three returned dishes Although at our party there was a returned horchata that was disgusting a quesadilla that was disgusting and sad look at it (refer to the photos). A pollo marinero that was disgusting. Although I wanted to enjoy the place, the food was an extreme letdown so was the managerial service. The manager then came back and told me they could only do 20% they could not return our food because it would be bad for business. There was nothing else that he could do. I am fine with paying the bill, but I don’t believe that the service and the attitude were necessary. Unfortunately, I will not be returning nor will I be recommending this place to anyone that I know. The staff assumed that we weren’t going to pay they had a big gentleman who seemed to be the assistant manager guarding. I heard the waitress whisper to Him “It's okay they are going to pay”. We are the only two black patrons in our party. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration for our friend that turned into us being accosted and racially profiled. As a good lover and frequent patron of restaurants I have never received such horrible service from the waiters and managerial staff/ owners. IThis review was written in real-time.

Good food, nice people! Pictured is their Enchiladas Suizas which had Poblano sauce w Oaxaca cheese. Very tasty!

Google
We tried this place out in the woodlands by the mall and absolutely loved our experience! The waitress Laura was very friendly and offered great suggestions! The chicken fajitas were perfect. I originally got the mixed fajitas but i will say the beef was a tad bit tough for my liking. I’m used to fajitas cooked medium. Nevertheless, my experience was amazing. Will definitely come back !!

Yelp
Always a great spot to stop. Been going here for 30 years and it's always good for a late night meal on the weekends. They will take care of you. The crunchy tacos were very good and I should get them more often. Also love the nachos.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite place to go in Houston and would travel from the burbs to come here but not any more. Got the Spanish Flowers Dinner which is now $15.99 for a taco, enchilada, tamale, beans and rice, some guac and queso. The taco was good but shell was soggy. The rice was watery. The cheese enchiladas used to be good with good gooey cheese and meaty chili gravy...not anymore. Cheap, plastic cheese. The tamale....omg...swimming in grease and the size of my pinky finger. The tamale was unacceptable. Spoke to a manager who just shrugged her shoulders. Took my plate away, didn't replace and didn't even take it off the bill. This was all acceptable to her. Hubby's chicken enchilada verdes was also $15.99. What a joke. They just opened in The Woodlands and prices are even higher. It's already getting mediocre reviews. I'll pass. El Chaparro is much, much better (and cheaper).

Yelp
I go for the ambiance and memories. Not often, but regularly for a few decades now. Friendly servers with decent lunch specials. I love the complimentary chips and green and red salsa before the meal. Tortillas from the tortilla lady were always hot and fresh. Haven't seen her on my last few trips though. Hope to continue coming here for many more years

Yelp
I wish we had a Spanish Flowers in Austin. This place was perfect for a pre metal festival dinner. My boyfriend is a fan of lengua and was not disappointed with their lengua plate. The meat was tender and came with a tasty gravy. I really liked the grilled fish tacos which came with some of the best charro beans I've had. They hand make their tortillas which just adds a nice element to the meal. Their red and green salsas were delicious as well. Finally, the service was fantastic. Our server was friendly and timely with all of the aspects of our meal. I will definitely come back if I find myself in this area of Houston again.

Yelp
My favorite in H-Town Mexican restaurant! The chips and salsa's are always great and the food spot on! Service top notch and restaurant is always clean! A classic! Worth a visit!

Yelp
Great authentic food. Have visited a few times and always leave with a full belly. Parking in back is easy. There's always a spot open. Service is quick and always pleasant. I like the seating in back with all the open windows. When we are in the area, we love to stop by!

Yelp
We sat about a table of 15. They weren't to busy for a Friday evening so we were seated pretty quickly. Servers were attentive and service was fast. The food was fresh & portioned perfectly. The drinks were super strong & tasty. I would definitely visit again for happy hour.

Yelp
Very good service, smiles everywhere. Casual ambiance, a little loud but ok. TV's everywhere. Food and drinks are somewhat on the high $$ side but everything was tasty. We tried the enchiladas verdes, chicken enchiladas and parrillada for one. The corn tortillas were delicious as was the sweet tea. The salsas were great but could use a little more heat in my opinion. Chips are wonderful and fresh. Maybe they should have added options of heat. The restaurant itself was clean and very cold. They have plenty of parking space and eating space. Large variety of menu items are available. I would recommend coming at least once to try it out. I would come back and eat here again.

Yelp
The breakfast here is very good but got a surprise when we got our bill--6.99 for a cappuccino! It wasn't even good, very milky and served room temperature. My husband complained about the price as it's not on the online menu but our server just said sorry about the price. I didn't complain about the disappointing cappuccino because it already took about 20 minutes to get and I was desperate for coffee so drank it anyway. Other than that, food and service were good.

Yelp
Located at airline and main (sorta in the heights area) Good size parking lot for the area but we got here early and after we arrived lot filled up pretty good..so that's a good sign food must be good.. Walked in and greeted promptly and seated..drink orders taken and chips and salsa arrived. Their green salsa was really good. Ordered huevos ranchero and it was really good. Flour tortillas were excellent and tasted and appeared freshly made. Would highly recomendable this place the atmosphere was good and nice chill vibe. A lot of stone work around bar and wood work on ceiling. This is the original location and there is another in Spring (45N) but it's worth the drive to come to this location. Staff was very good and friendly and fast..

Yelp
This was my first visit to Spanish Flowers and I'm not sure why. I came in around 9 on a weekday and was surprised at how busy it was. I was there for a few hours and it was still pretty crowded when I left. The service was okay, but nothing to write home about. I had to remind our server a couple of times about miscellaneous requests. I ordered a margarita flight, and I probably wouldn't do this again. They all come frozen and the flavors are too sweet for me. The food was pretty yummers. I ordered the Spanish Flowers dinner because I love a good sampler - chicken enchilada, pork tamale, beef taco. I would definitely come back here, it's a fun environment especially for late night.
google avatar

Monica Q.

Yelp
The service here and food quality has gone down. We told our server it was my husband birthday. We saw how they made a big fun experience for another person birthday and we wanted them to do the same my husband for his birthday. It was very sad when we left and they didn't do anything for him. We are unsure if it was because we said we didn't want desert was the reason why. We had ordered a lot of food and even ordered a molcajete so we had a lot of food to take home. We have celebrated my kids baptism, first communion, rented the back room for a large birthday parties and many more throughout the years so this was very disappointing when they didn't celebrate my husband's birthday.

Cheyenne L.

Yelp
Had a group of 4, while talking there was a roach crawling on the booth behind our backs. My friend and I jumped up and had a male server come over to see it and he threw it on the ground my friend had to step on it and kill it.
google avatar

Yelp
I haven't been here in a while. I was thinking on such a lovely day the balcony, as the view is great. It was closed and I opted for the patio. The service was deplorablethe Ws waitress hadtobefoubd the bring utensils. After taking the drinks order the waitress disappeared so long I nearly left. This was followed by flagging her down for utensils and the check. . A definite reason to choose a good restaurant in the area.

Yelp
We had a good dinner here last Thursday night. The service was nice and friendly. We got a happy hour trio dip with white queso, guacamole, and pico. It was okay, not sure I'd get it again since you get 3 free salsas and chips anyway. The house frozen margarita I ordered was strong!! Like 1 was enough lol. I got the chicken flauta dinner plate and really liked it. The flautas had sour cream and lettuce that was good with it, the rice was really good, and the beans were okay. There was a tv for sports in the section we sat it. Walking around after parking revealed that it's pretty large and there's multiple seating areas with plenty of space! Parking lot is pretty good sized. There also seems to be an outdoor courtyard you can wait in plus benches out by the main entrance. Will be back!
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Wonderful service and amazing happy hour deals. $3 for a beer and $7 for a large mega-boozy margarita! Highlight of the menu was the rice and queso blanco Pictured is the carnitas. I got half soft half crispy. It was a lot to eat! Very delicious. Great place to go if it's your birthday or catch a game. There's so much seating. Apparently they are also open 24/7 on weekends!
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely have your Birthday here! That's all I'm saying for now. Food and atmosphere is great as well! Definitely will return!

Yelp
Vibe- This is a nice Mexican restaurant in greater heights Houston, TX. There's some tables as soon as you walk in and then there's about 21 tables in another room towards the back (or side) of the building (each table seats about 4-6). Customer service- Great, my server was good, but could have been much more attentive. Good food, but the customer service could have be way more attentive and that's why I give this restaurant 3 stars. Food/drinks- Chips and salsa are complimentary. I ordered the burrito verde from their vegetarian menu (some items can be made vegan by omitting cheese). The burrito was delicious and filling. I didn't order an alcoholic beverage but I could only imagine how delicious they probably are and there's many drinks on the menu!! Parking- There's a good amount of parking spots in the lot.
google avatar

Sandi W.

Yelp
I used to be a regular there but on the past two visits the food and service was lackluster. Just had a crunchy beef taco there that had little to no flavor/no seasoning at all. Needed chili powder with garlic and cumino on it. Least they could have done was buy some McCormick taco seasoning and added it to it. Beans had little taste as well and the queso tasted like liquid spray cheese. My friend and I were very dissatisfied.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
As a creature of habit, and the creature seems to grow bigger as I age, I have a hard time getting anything other than their 1) menudo, 2) enchiladas, or 3) carne guisada. All are sabroso y que rico, pero the menudo lives up to their claim. Pretty dang legendary. It's the kind that makes your lips nice and sticky while you devour the hot bowl of goodness. Now that I think about it, it's been a whole since I've been back. Time to remedy that!!!

Katheryn P.

Yelp
We went for dinner on a Thursday, and it was surprisingly not busy! The service was not great for how empty it was, and the food was not the best of the best. I thought it was a little overpriced for what it was tbh. I think I would go back and give it another shot.
google avatar

Jennifer P.

Yelp
Delicious TexMex/Mexican food. This place is very good. Clean, great atmosphere, delicious drinks and food, and excellent service. This place does not disappoint.

Yelp
When I'm in Houston this is a most stop. They have two locations. This one is open 24hours on Friday and Saturday. Love the music they play, it's usually a verity if traditional Latin music. When it's your birthday come in the evening and if you like different birthday songs then that's what you will hear...a mash up of several ones. The salsa is mild but has tomato chunks, little bits of cilantro and jalapeños seeds but not spicy! The chips don't have any salt and they are not ultra thin or thick. I love the lengua dinner. You get so much meat in a great tasting marinade, not too much sodium, in my option. It comes with refried beans but you can sub for black beans, what I did or charro beans. My fiancé got the chicken enchiladas con mole. And the mole sauce here is in his top 5. They have someone walking around with a camera. If they take a pic they will ask if you want to buy a print. In Houston...I would definitely recommend this place!
google avatar

Dominique N.

Yelp
This place is massive and so are the portions. This place is not fancy by any means, but has tasty standard Mexican food (I haven't tried anything but the flautas and carnitas). The menu is large and has a lot of options for different dietary restrictions. The TVs are a nice touch to watch sports. I will definitely be back and will add more about the foods and drinks I try!
google avatar

Todd S.

Yelp
I don't know it it's laziness, neglect, or pure incompetence but this place can't post realistic hours to save their lives. It's so bad even the cops that frequent don't know when or if they are actually open.
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
Great food one of the best Molcajete scone Carne I've ever had. I like going there for breakfast also because they have oatmeal with all the fixings and it's delicious. Customer service is great. Atmosphere is lively and clean.

Janice M.

Yelp
We had dinner and I ordered a michelob ultra and I asked for a cold mug, I also asked for green salsa that was much hotter than the two they bring with chips. Received my bill and the beer was $7 dollars that was upgraded to a michelada that I didn't have, the HOT green salsa was $2.99! I asked about it and the young waiters said yes we upgrade the charge for a cold mug! This just didn't sit well, I called and the manager refunded me $10 dollars! With that being said, check your tab before you pay. Did she think I wasn't going to leave her a good tip????? I tipped her $10 dollars more than 18%! Absurd to say the least. We will not be dining at Spanish flower Mexican restaurant. Please Visit the new Spanish flower seafood Alexie, Shayla, Roxanna, Anna and Luis the mgr are awesome, great customer service!

Yelp
I used to love this place. I was a religious customer from UberEats, and I have been ordering from Spanish Flower for at least 3 months now. Suddenly, they stopped caring about their to-go orders. Food used to be separated in appropriate containers, like for the Tacos al Carbon I always order. You know the traditional to-go boxes? The ones that have two tiny squares for sides, one large rectangle for big food? That used to be how they served the tacos. Now, they send them in a crappy foil to-go container, the tacos touching right against the rice and beans, so when you pull up your taco to eat it, it falls apart in your hands because now the beans and rice made the tortillas soggy. Now, suddenly, I'm eating my tacos with a fork and knife because their decision to package them poorly means the tacos fall apart. I had hoped that when they sent this poorly chosen container that it was a mistake from some new staff. Then I ordered again. And again. And after the third time when they forgot the chips, the sour cream, the guacamole, pico de gallo and lettuce all in one sitting--that's when I gave up. Fast forward to today when I decided to give it one more try. There was a BONE in my taco. I bit into it, and winced in pain, not expecting, obviously, to bite full force into a bone--because it's Tacos al Carbon, not Tacos con CarBONE. I'll never be ordering here again. And it's a shame because this was my go-to. In my eyes, management has ceased to care. And I hope everyone reading this review understand that this establishment has LOWERED its quality that it wants to give you. Why? I don't know. But expect to see complacency in what they give you food-wise, and expect mistakes in your order--because now, after ordering for months, they've gotten it wrong EVERY TIME for the past 4 times. Third time should have been the charm to quit, but I really wanted to give it another go. Save yourself the trouble. If you're ordering from UberEats here especially--you're wasting your time and your money.

Yelp
Great food and great people, love the Food and the Ice Tea is always fresh and delicious. Chips and both salsas are fresh each time.
google avatar

Anthony K.

Yelp
We went here for lunch as a group of 15. When 15 people show up all at one time, this can be a recipe for disaster. Not this time, each order came out just as requested. And, the food was hot. Try their green salsa. It has a hot side, and is addicting. We were so pleased with a treat on the way out. They have a soft-swirl ice cream machine, which made for a delicious dessert.

Angela B.

Yelp
Just left Spanish Flowers on Durham-great staff, service, and of course food!! All 8 in our party loved it! Have always loved North Main location, first visit here-I might have a new favorite!! Thanks!

Yelp
Food was bland. Service is great. But....as we are eating (at the booth) there was a little visitor that came to visit... a German roach!!!! Ooh no...scared us and it went to back in the little hole...sorry will not be back. Who knows how many there are...won't be back

Margarita C.

Yelp
just for 1 barbacua tacos was $7. tasted sour then I order potato & chorizo taco. its was gross. the quality of the food is poor for the prices. never again will I come here

Mel A.

Yelp
Servers are usually friendly. Food is fairly consistent here and you get large portions. The only thing that is not consistent is their hours of operation. Apparently their own workers don't even know the hours that are posted both on Google (give them the benefit of the doubt since can sometimes be incorrect) and on their website. However these do match. When you say you open at 8am then you should be open. They have lost quite a lot of our breakfast business due to this inconsistency.

Yelp
Very solid Tex-Mex! I split the carne guisada plate. The tortillas (both flour and corn, but especially the flour) were fantastic! The meat was very tender and not fatty at all. The chips were nice and thin and the salsa was very fresh. I was honestly shocked at the quality of food for a 24 hour place. I'd never been here before but I was really happy with the food and would definitely come back for a Tex-Mex craving.

Yelp
The was delicious. The Service great. There was a Good selection on the menu. I would cone back here. It has been years since I have been to this restaurant.

Yelp
Breakfast was bland, potatoes and beans had no flavor. Meat portion of fajitas on Spanish flower breakfast plate was worse than chipotle. Over priced and under seasoned.

Yelp
Dependable affordable Texmex. Staff is on top of it. Great happy hour that goes until 7:00

Yelp
Spanish Flowers has always been one of those establishments where I've been fortunate to have a good time every time. Family run, and locally operated as of the last 40+ years, they have a been a long standing member of the community. There's a lot to appreciate here, so let me count the ways: * They make a mean margarita. I don't just mean tasty and presentable. I mean potent and good to where even a bad time becomes a good time. Happy hour is really just that. * They're open late almost every night. On the weekends, it's 24 hours. This means late night eats and more drinks. Score. * That automated tortilla maker back in the kitchen. Cool factor aside, it's fun to see perfectly symmetrical food freshly prepared consistently every time. * Brunch / breakfast / desayuno is a wonderful time to be here. The plates I've always enjoyed are their chilaquiles, mole enchiladas, the infamous Spanish Flower breakfast plate, and the forever crowd pleaser: the mega botana platter that has a little sample size of all the appetizers. * When in doubt, go for the menudo / carne guisada. The fresh salsa is strangely also clutch and goes well with just about everything they serve. * One word: Service. They always do a standup job in making everyone fell welcome, happy, and satisfied. I think a big part of the draw here for me was simply the staff alone. * They have vegetarian options for days. It may not be a spectacular per se (#1) but it means our veggie friends have options. Not my favorite things, but certainly not deal breakers include: * The fajitas are undoubtedly popular, but they've always been a tad dry on me. This includes the steak, chicken, and the shrimp. I will likely order it again, but ask them to cut the grill time to preserve some of the juices. * Stale chips on more than one occasion. While we normally have them swapped out, not having them be stale is a much more ideal option. The salsa is enough to where I will forget about the chip staleness entirely. * It's getting a bit expensive. I realize this is across the board (#2) with most places but hoping it doesn't continue to climb for awhile. ____________ (#1) Not saying this as a carnivore, just noting the execution. (#2) You win again, pandemic pricing.

Amazing food. Great management. Quesadillas are tasty. Its reasonably priced. And the food comes in large amounts but ask the prices of food and drinks.

Yelp
Really good tacos. And the chips and sauces too too. The service lady was very nice too

Yelp
The menudo soup was by far my favorite. The chicken enchiladas had a "mole" taste that complimented the rice well. The ambiance and service here is always good. I will say the fajita tacos was chewy.

Yelp
We hosted a baby shower at Spanish Flowers Mexican restaurant this past weekend for 65 people and I cannot tell you how impressed we all were with the food & the spectacular service!! The room, tables/chairs and buffet were all set up when we arrived an hour in advance to decorate. We brought tablecloths and runners. When the waitstaff saw us putting the tablecloths on, they immediately jumped in and helped us! We easily had 6-7 servers attending to our guests the entire time. The fajita buffet was hot, fresh and plentiful. A server even walked around serving hot, fresh tortillas to our guests. It was great! Everyone raved about the food!! We provided soft drinks, tea, coffee and lemonade for our guests but many wanted to try the vast array of mixed cocktails. We did not pay for the alcohol and this was handled so professionally by the waitstaff. Individual bills were provided and correctly documented for each guest. This made for a great experience for all and no confusion on who ordered or paid for what. We highly recommend Spanish Flowers and we will always have so many wonderful memories from our celebration there!

Yelp
This restaurant is truly iconic, it has survived and grown around the neighborhood. Friendly waitstaff, clean restaurant. The hot sauce and chips were the bomb! I had the chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans. The baños are super clean.

Yelp
Came here because of the great reviews, and was absolutely disappointed! Our meal was horrible, the rice was hard, the shrimp a la mexicana looked like it was microwaved and then served. Mole was cold, queso flameado was super greasy and the fries tasted like they were fried in old oil.

Yelp
I ordered this $14.99 torta. Huge bread, thick fajita no beans, no crema, nothing. Romain style lettuce as you can see. I ate it bc I was hungry & don't want to wait for a diff entree. You're better off going to a taco stand.

Yelp
Mother in law brought us here since they live in the area. Nice place, was seated quickly. I cannot recall the platter I got but it had a little of everything. It had a tamale, crispy taco. The food was good the service was good as well. I cleaned my plate idk if it was because I was hungry it the food was good or both. But either way we did enjoy our meals there we had a party of 6 and the place is somewhat big has two sides.

Yelp
Love their food and how they are open late! It's one of my favorite spots to go to! They also have great drinks!
