Google
Valentina, thank you so much for your amazing service — you’re the best! The oysters were fresh, my NY strip was cooked exactly as I ordered, and the La Vida Vegetal was the perfect drink to go with it all. To finish, I had the tiramisu for dessert, which was absolutely delicious. Everything from start to finish was outstanding!

We went as a group of 8 and really enjoyed the food and the place. The Out of Bound Chocolate Cake was definitely a delicious! Valentina took great care of us, she was kind, patient with our group, and made the experience even better.

It was our first time here, and we showed up right at opening at 11am. The place was pretty empty, which made the vibe really relaxed and comfortable. We rented a virtual game bay and tried out a bunch of games—golf, hunting/shooting games, and baseball. Most of the games were fun, though a few felt more like single-player experiences, which could get a bit awkward if you're not super familiar with your group. Turns out, none of us are any good at baseball, but messing up together made it funny. We ordered different kinds of burgers, and the food was solid—flavorful and satisfying. The waitress was attentive and on top of everything. One chicken sandwich came out late, but the manager immediately stepped in and gave our friend a discount card, which was a nice gesture. Overall, it was a chill and fun way to spend the morning.

Had a date night with the hubby and had an amazing server, Sarah B. She was amazing, the food was amazing and I plan to comeback with the hubby. Great atmosphere, great drinks, and great location. My husband and I had a fantastic date night at this restaurant. Our server, Sarah B., was exceptional. She was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious, and I’m already planning to return with my husband. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, and the drinks were refreshing. The location was convenient, making it a great spot for a romantic evening.

Google
Such a great find! The food was delicious. The entire team was welcoming, but Mia really stood out. She was polite, quick, and made sure our drinks and meals were perfect. You could tell she genuinely cared. That level of service is rare. Can’t wait to come back!

Had a great Father’s Day family time. Ambience, food and services were excellent. One thing stand out was there cleanliness. So many people playing different games food and all but they kept the place nice and clean. Thanks

Google
First time going to Spare Birdie and let me tell you, this is my new spot! It was such a great experience! The food was amazing. I had the hardest time choosing what to get it all looked so good. Our server Mia was incredible. Best i’ve had in a while truly. She answered any and all questions i had and made me and friends feel so welcomed. She was very attentive and kind and had a lot of patience with our group. Highly recommended this place and will be coming back.

Google
AMAZING place to take kids, have dinner, and/or get a drink. Very suitable for a group social outing. There are tons of games/activities you can play - bowling, billiards, darts, bocce ball, virtual golf. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors on the covered patio. The bartenders were friendly, but the line to order drinks took several minutes - I think the bar may have been short staffed that evening. The live music outside was a nice touch.

Yelp
Amazing setting. Great games. I wish they had more options on the food menu, feels very limited. Place like this should definitely have wings!

Yelp
Fun time with a big group!! Came with a group of about 12, with a reservation in place. Friendly staff greeted and sat us right away and got drinks going asap! I have to emphasize the service here, our waitress was patient and helpful with our big group when a bottle of Prosecco was out of stock she recommended another wine bottle that was a very good option. We had a couple of appetizers including the nachos, and fries, all very good. The space is laid out very well, apart from the bowling they have virtual golf/soccer/ baseball spots that we were able to use while waiting for the lanes. Only detail that didn't sit well was a 3 percent extra charge that was added to the bill, although the restaurant didn't try to hide it by putting a note saying that instead of raising prices on food they would just add a separate charge? All in all you end up paying more, what it felt like was a money grab placing the blame on inflation. Would they lower the price if food prices dropped? Not likely. I do hope this trend of adding extra surcharges comes to an end. Even with this though, the rating would put it at a 4.5 but because it's a such a cool spot to hang out and it's superb staff it deserves the 5th star. Definitely look forward coming back.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this place. Unfortunately, we don't come here very often. Life is constantly busy and sometimes it's hard to fit in cool places like this. First, the vibe is great and pretty much all the staff were very friendly. It's nice to see this consistency. We did the bowling, which was a blast. It is not standard length bowling which makes it great for younger kids and random bowling time. Also, it is not those stupid string attached to bowling pins that you see in many places which are super problematic. This functions like a normal bowling alley, just a bit shorter. Such a great experience here. We did order some food and all of it was great. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and food is good. Lots of difference activities to choose. Or if you are not in the mood, it has a great indoor and outdoor vibe. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Worth it! My husband and I were lucky and scored a Monday day date here on Memorial day (usually they're closed). After a short wait at the front, a friendly employee gave us the rundown, since it was our first time. They offer a wide selection of games, including bowling, pool, darts, virtual golf, and live music on the outdoor patio. We got seated in a corner booth, and poured over the food and drinks menu - everything was so wonderful, but we saved room for dessert after playing a few rounds of pool. Our waitress was very personable and all too happy to share her menu favorites. Even though it wasn't packed, our service was very attentive despite there being several larger groups, so we were never hit the bottom of our glass. The decor is more upscale than what you'd expect from a place that offers games, and the central bar gave an art deco Gatsby vibe with the gold fixtures and deep greens. I very much look forward to my next visit, and hopefully it will be cool enough to enjoy the patio and live music. Favorites: husband loved the Early Birdie, and I loved the Cactus Royal.

Yelp
We went for lunch there. Big, clean and pretty cool place. Plenty of different game options to try. Our server was attentive but manager was very very attentive. I am taking off 1 star because food was okey. We ordered burger, taquitos, nachos, chicken sandwich, lemon cake. The quantity of the food was good. I found fries yum but rest of the food could have some more flavor. So over all food 5/5, place -5/5, staff -5/5. I definitely recommend.

Yelp
Food 4 stars Ambiance/vibes 5 stars Service 5+ stars I'm hardly writing any reviews these days, but felt SBPH definitely deserves more than 3stars so here it goes. When I heard about the new place CP area, got excited and checked the reviews and was not fond of it, but still wanted to try as it's close to home, so me n a friend decided to stop by for HH. My friend made the reservation, but I think you should be fine without reservations either, as the place is huge. As soon I stepped in, I felt like Woww, place is huge, spacious, cozy, good vibes, loved the ambiance and the way it has been setup, there's a bowling and other stuff and that place has that sports bar vibe, and where me n my friend got seated, it was like a cozy nice place to sit and relax. Our server name is I think Ben, who was attentive, welcoming and friendly. We ordered Bruschetta, corn fritters, crispy cauliflower, fries, lemon cake. Drinks, Gold rush, and Tom Colin's. My friend got Tom Colin's and she liked it, I initially got Californian based on our server recommendation, but all I tasted was bitter orange juice, couldn't drink it after 2 sips, and I let my server know about it, and he replaced that with gold rush without hesitation, and I loved Gold rush, it was well balanced drink. Bruschetta was disappointing, goat cheese tasted funky, so took that off, and all I tasted was crushed raw tomatoes on bread, no flavor at all, I'd skip that. Corn fritter: if you don't know it's name, you won't know it's corn, I think they had crushed corn and added some spices to it, overall you don't taste corn at all, and it was made more like falafel, my friend liked it, but me just okay. Crispy cauliflower, this I loved it, it's crisp but not greasy, it's not heavy, it has nice spicy kick to it, and it made up for bruschetta and I can eat two plates of it, for my friend it was bit spicy though. Fries: we both loved it, it was just perfect. Lemon cake: I'd skip it, cake was dense and crumbly, and dint taste as freshly made either, they say raspberry sauce, but the sauce is so little you don't taste it, it needs more raspberry sauce to balance all the tangyness, they really should work on this. We felt it was pricey but quality of the food, ambience of the place, and you don't have to drive to domain or to downtown for a cool place to hangout make it worth the price, and we have plans to visit them for brunch. Overall definitely recommend SBPH!!

Yelp
We loved the place, though it's recommended to get a reservation before you head out. We had to sit outside as the indoor tables were all reserved. The food was good, they also gave us a complimentary 30 mins of billiards.

Yelp
Came in to see Tony. The charming, fast, and enthusiastic bar tender. Was told the unfortunate news that he was let go. Between over priced cocktails, and shit food....He was the only bright spot in this place. They clearly have no appreciation for staff if they let someone like that go. I Wouldn't recommend this shit hold to anyone unless u just wanna practice your golf shot if it's raining outside.

Yelp
We stopped by on a lazy Sunday to check out this new fun house in the CP. We purposely waited past their grand opening as we know it would be a shakedown cruise until they got settled. The outside still needs some cosmetic work but the inside is stunning. There is a large well equipped bar plenty of seating and an outside patio with a small amphitheater set up. We are looking forward to hearing some live music on a nice evening. I'm not sure if the neighbors will appreciate the live music. As others have noted there are plenty of games (think a scaled-down version of Dave & Bs) to keep you occupied. We came for a cocktail and to check out the venue. Our bartender was excellent and our cocktails were poured to perfection. Since we had a late breakfast food was not an option. Our neighbors at the bar ordered a dozen of their $1 raw gulf oysters. I'm not a gulf oyster fan but the presentation was beautiful. Visualize a boat filled with ice (it was huge) with a dozen oysters wonderfully arranged with all the all accoutrements you would desire with your oysters. I do believe we have found another SundayFunday spot.

Yelp
Great place! Huge place with lots of space and options for each group. Incredibly fun but chill too! Went for friends retirement party a couple of months ago and was really impressed & happy to have something out here! Edit : Parking lot is massive and NO PROBLEM parking in my friend's Infinity suburban even for noon event on a Saturday!
google avatar

Yelp
I wasn't sure what to expect as we headed to the front entrance with club music blasting from inside. Is this place ok for families? Answer- yes, absolutely! And bring your appetite because the food is really good. We just had lunch- the chicken and waffles and Caesar salad were standouts. The portions are huge and we had more than enough to take home. I would love to come back and bowl or reserve a virtual bay. If you're on the fence, check it out. It probably gets more crowded in the evening but daytime is a great time to enjoy with the whole family.

Yelp
The food is a step up from pub food., service is excellent. Ambiance is great. Down side. Hit the ATM b before going. Very expensive.

Yelp
As many other reviewers have noted, I give this place a mediocre rating out of the gate but I think it has great potential to be better. Pros - the space was designed well to have lots of entertainment options (bowling, simulated golf, pool tables, darts and cornhole (outside). The banana old fashioned was delicious and although slightly expensive, I will gladly order again. Cons - growing pains. The staff tried hard but it appears as though everyone is new so there were small mistakes that added up. Things like not bringing water or silverware to the table (I went and found my own) or bringing the wrong dish to the table next to us. Mistakes that happen at everywhere restaurant but seemed to be happening more frequently here so it was more noticeable. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. The band outside was good but so loud we couldn't hear each other talk, and we were at the table farthest from the stage outside. Overall, I would be willing to try again but will probably wait 6 months or so.

Yelp
I came here with my girlfriends for galentines day dinner. The place was super cool, it was our first time. The waiters was very nice. My friends ordered drinks and it was happy hour too. I forgot to take more pics but overall drinks and food were good. I will have to take my friends here to play bowling or virtual golf next time.

Yelp
The hubs and I stopped in for some lunch and bevvies and we were so happy we did!! $1 oysters to start, super delish!! Then we shared the spare rib quesadilla and the Asian chicken sliders....amazeballs!!! Our waiter was awesome and the atmosphere was chill, it wasn't super packed. We couldn't have aaked for a better experience and will defintely be back!! The only con I can say is the tap beer menu is weak and could use a major upgrade, but they do have a good spirit list. Looking forward to next time!

Yelp
An elevated bowling experience is the best way to describe Spare Birdie. For the longest I hesitated to go due to the reviews on service. I didn't experience anything but exceptional service. We did go on a Friday and forgot to make a reservation but luckily were only Waited 30 min for a bowling lane. In the mean time we played darts. Ounce at the lane we ordered our food which was okay. The ambiance was warm, modern and fun! We bowled for an hour were easily checked out and enjoyed it! I recommend checking it out not during peak hours but if unavoidable be aware there are not many lanes so reservations would be best. Or even call and check on wait times to plan.

Yelp
I've recently come across this place on Instagram and was super excited to go. Spare birdie definitely met my expectations! They had bowling, darts, mini golf and kickball. All virtual except bowling. They had other games as well. I didn't get to try this time but next time I definitely will. We tried the trio dip in which you get to pick any three of the dips. We tried the guacamole add bacon, queso and lemon artichoke. The pita bread was a good addition to it. The guacamole could use a bit of salt but still had flavor. I would get all three again but would like to try the Blackbean southwest hummus next!. The crab cakes were light and very tasty. Mango salmon literally melted in my mouth! The absolute best salmon dish I've ever tried! The duck whipped mashed potatoes were yummy and the sauce. If this wasn't 35 minutes from my house I would drive here for lunch. The only two cons. The blackened shrimp fettuccine had too much pesto in which it over powered the dish! The other con is that you can only order food of the gaming menu if you bowl or play mini golf. I sat in the restaurant section and still couldn't order off the game menu! I feel as though I should be able to order off any menu if in in the restaurant.

Yelp
Not only is the food INCREDIBLE TOP NOTCH, but the drinks are amazing and the from the back patio is so gorgeous! The design of the place is so aesthetically pleasing and there is so much to do! There is bowling and cornhole and pool tables and a shooting range and so much more!! 5 stars is not enough for this little bit of heaven, nestled away in a small town in Texas :)
google avatar

Jose B.

Yelp
Very nicely decorated and bowling was a lot of fun and had lots of options for games for all ages. The shrimp toast was fried though, which we didn't expect and was a little dry. Probably will go with other food options, which look good. Need more visits to really get a good picture
google avatar

Yelp
Really impressed with this spot! I saw a lot of post via social media and decided to check it out. The place is stunning, love all the details, decor etc. It may be a bit confusing but there's like 4 things do in one place: bowling, vr games, dine-in, bar/yard games (pool/darts) For what's it's worth the drinks weren't the best, we stuck to beer. The service was okay, but this is a new restaurant and they are still trying to figure it out! Have grace and patience as they get in the swing of things. Everyone in our group enjoyed their hummus, super impressed! Would definitely come back, but beware this is pricier than your normal bowling alley.
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
How did I just find out about this place! We stopped in late on a Sunday and enjoyed it so much! The drinks are fantastic and not incredibly overpriced. Great selection of spirits and the bartender was very knowledgeable and was willing to explain not only the drink and food, but gave is great recommendations! The fries are not to be missed! I am not a huge fry person, but these were like a mix between an wedge and a fry, but super tasty and crispy! Oysters were fresh, not gulf, and served in a massive shell vessel. So much fun. We just sat at the bar, then ended up moving outside to the patio, where they have live music. They also have bowling, group VR/interactive video games, and more. Definitely a good place for a celebration, group event, or date night fun!

Yelp
Overall experience was very disappointing. Family Was so excited about this place that they waited for us (California family) before trying it.... now I wish they would have tried you, at least then I would not have wasted my time. My money $$$, or my taste buds on crazy food and ambience. You weren't sure which side to be on and then this open dining area smack database in the middle, can I say noisy! Food sub par...Brussel sprouts drowning in oil to a point they were squishy. Crab cakes were good, pork belly...lacking everything about it, thinly, yes, thinly sliced and put on a mound of rice with slivered carrots, to bad I had to use a fork and knife to cut it!!!!! Do not get me started on drinks....I wish we would have stayed at the house and we could have cooked a better meal for less than half price

Keith T.

Yelp
Very mediocre overall. Love the concept, brightness, and cleanliness of the place. And location is great; really close to home. Noticed lots of reviews talk about bad service...ours was just fine. The food was very hit and miss. The hits were the pork belly lettuce wraps, and the Wagyu burger sliders. Misses were the hummus/pita (bland), guacamole (bland), and pretzel tots (also bland). Also a problem was the glitches of the virtual bay computer. Tried to play multiple games, but it locked up several times while there. At the end, while playing golf, we just stopped because it wasn't sensing the ball. The employee that was there for support seemed to confirm that it was an ongoing problem. Very mediocre...not sure if we would go back.

Yelp
Y'all, let me tell you about Spare Birdie Public House We went yesterday for our anniversary dinner and couldn't be more happy with our evening! We were sat immediately, our server was super attentive, but the cocktails & food were what left the biggest impression - from presentation to flavor - I can't even pick a favorite item because all were spectacular! If you haven't been, GO ASAP. We can't wait to return especially for their happy hour offerings!
google avatar

Gina K.

Yelp
Great craft cocktails and Bourbon selections. Food is very good, especially the lamb meatballs, sliders, and spare birdie salad. We always sit at the bar and they are very attentive no latter how busy they are.

Sara J.

Yelp
We decided to check out this new venue by having dinner and listening to live music. We were SO lucky to get to see Kenny Hada and the Others! They're an incredible Austin band that I was impressed Spare Birdie brought in. The stage and outdoor area are really nice. They have some comfy chairs for listening, but you can also bring your own. We ate dinner on the patio first. (Definitely quieter area to eat and talk than the inside dining) The food was so-so...expected more for the price, but decent enough. Our server Landon let us move down to the lawn when we were done and kept our tab open and checked on us for refills. We really enjoyed the evening! We did not play any of the games, but they looked really fun, and we do plan to come back to try them. Looks like they have some daily specials, too!

Juan C.

Yelp
Great ambiance, elevated bar food with excellent taste A great place to go with friends, family or coworkers. It is definitely a hidden gem in Cedar Park/Leander area We just had brunch here, the trio dip is great, the crab Benedict well executed and the avocado toast was very tasty. The family pool game rounded the day

Yelp
I am surprised to see the overall rating for Spare Birdie! We finally went there today for lunch and everything we all ordered was fantastic! I had the short rib quesadilla and will have to order it again! All the ingredients just blended together and had a little kick! The hubs ordered the special BBQ sliders and devoured them. We also shared some Truffle Parmesan fries. The consistency of the fries was a mix between a French Fry and Frito dipper. The aioli was really good but not sure I would order the fries again. Our friends ordered different shareables and loved them all. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. We were there for an early lunch and by the time we left, the golf bays were all full and the bowling lanes were being filled. So go early if you want a more peaceful setting.

Sandy O.

Yelp
Being charged a 10% ($25) fee to show up early and on time for my reservation is absurd. It doesn't surprise me that people don't come here. You should NOT penalize people who plan ahead and get to their time slot on time.

Yelp
This is the first times we have been here . We were impressed with the place . Very bogie and the food was amazing. We had the Macker Burger and it was delicious! Unfortunately the reason I give it a 1 star rating, it's because of the service. We ordered the a burger and oysters . They brought out the burger and we asked our waitress to split the burger and of course, she did not . I also the oysters never made it out of the ocean . She apologized and said " I am sorry , no one brought them out ?" They don't have someone bringing out the food . It's the server . She just forgot to place the order . She said " I'll have it right out " so I said , ok , go ahead . About 10 minutes later , I went inside looking for her and when I found her "talking to other servers chilling . I called her over and said . No need for the oysters . She said " they are almost done " it was about 10:00 PM , place was not busy , they were all standing around talking and laughing. So I told her , no it's ok , we wanted the oysters as an appetizer not with our meal . She tried to blame the cooks , but I speak Spanish and I heard them saying " She never put an order in for the oysters " It's to bad about this place . It has potential but the service is horrible for a high end bougie place . Too bad because we are probably bot coming back . We might give them one more opportunity . Also she never came one to check up on us to see if we need a refill or anything else. Funny thing is that when she brought the bill , she apologized for the oysters several times and was asking. , did you need anything else ??

Yelp
I live right around the corner and have been hoping for a "Dave and busters" type place- I'm a single adult with no kids but act like a kid. I was SO EXCITED for them to open. Overall it is amazing- if you are on a budget of any kind, it is VERY expensive. They don't currently have a happy or late hour menu, as a teacher on a budget I wish they did so I could come move often. 5 stars for sure if they had a happy/late hour menu. We will be back for games, just went for appetizers and cocktails this time. Everything was delicious. Ceviche wasn't as great as I'd expect for that price but still delicious. Bartenders were fun and attentive. The look is really fancy, but relaxed in a way too. I even saw someone wiping the chairs down- yay for cleanliness! Walked around and looked at whole area, the virtual screens have plenty of room and feel private. The bowling is only a few lanes but cute and well spaced out. Darts and billiards are by the bowling area. There is also an outdoor area with a stage for live music and lots of seating. I look forward to seeing how this place grows and becomes a staple in the community.

Yelp
We loved this place! Super fun for the whole family or just adults. The food was very yummy, drinks were good, games were a lot of fun and prices were good too! I love the ambience of the whole place, love the decor and details. I can definitely see us coming back for date nights, family days, or a place to take visitors for some fun, great food and drinks. Also, everyone who worked there were amazing!! They were so attentive, polite and made sure we were taken care of frequently. We sat down to eat first but the host wanted to make sure we got our bay after dinner so he personally kept us up to date. It was overall a great experience and look forward to coming back soon.

Yelp
I've been twice. Once on a Saturday, 2:30pm, party of 3 and seated immediately. Once on a Tuesday night, 6:30pm. party of 5 with a resy. Both were dining in the restaurant. You can also order food from the different activity areas like bowling or the simulation bays. This is a newer spot, so giving some grace as they figure it out. Unfortunately, both visits lacked in service efficiency. Drinks took a while to come out due to limited bar staff and server was not as attentive as possible. Fortunately, the drinks are good and strong. So you loosen up your expectations after the first round. I've had the banana old fashion and one more mile - both were really good! My fave appetizer has been the crab cakes. A must try! Raw oysters were ok, they do not have cocktail sauce or horseradish. The bacon jam burger was good but did not make my top 10 burger list. The spare birdie salad was good, I liked the dressing. I will give this spot another try, more than likely an activity with food service.

Lis S.

Yelp
busy food is good for a large place like this Please, make sure it is a teeny bit hotter ... deserts were amazing list of items made on-site games are fun too!

Yelp
Ambiance - classy and elegant Still Family friendly Food and service were great Will return!

Yelp
Recently, I had the opportunity to check out a new spot in town called Spare Birdie. To be honest, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I first arrived, but I was eager to give it a try. After some time exploring the different areas of the restaurant, I finally settled on the sit-down menu, although I must note that the menus in the dining area and game areas are different. Since my review is based solely on the sit-down dining experience, I can't speak to the games. The interior of Spare Birdie is truly stunning. Everywhere you look, there is a noticeable amount of attention to detail that has gone into creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The décor is both chic and cozy, making it the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a date with someone special - but you have to understand that depending on where you're sitting you could be hearing kids running around, the sounds of bowling balls, etc. During my visit, I was impressed by the level of service I received. Katie, our server, was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Throughout the meal, I also noticed that the entire team, including a busser, manager, and chef, were checking in on us. This was especially impressive as they were still in their soft opening phase. I started off with the "Bananafashioned" cocktail, which was delicious and perfectly balanced. For an appetizer, my girlfriend and I decided to try the grilled oysters, which were fantastic. For our main course, we ordered the Flat Iron Steak Sandwich and the Short Rib Melt. Both sandwiches were amazing, but I have to say, the Flat Iron Steak sandwich was cooked to perfection and the Short Rib Melt literally melted in my mouth. The flavor from the truffle butter and raspberry mustard was a real surprise and did not disappoint. The pictures don't do it justice but you have to just try for yourself! In conclusion, I would highly recommend Spare Birdie to anyone looking for a unique dining experience with great food and fantastic service. Whether you're in the mood to play some games or simply want to enjoy a delicious meal, this spot has you covered. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other offerings!

Yelp
Food was edible but super expensive. There was live music playing OUTSIDE and it was SO loud we had to scream across the table (we weren't close to the band, they were just THAT loud). Games inside were extremely pricey and 1-1.5 hour wait. I had high hopes, but I left with a headache from the music and total disappointment.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. Plus there was a mob of workers right at the entrance, they don't greet you or anything, just stare. Pretty uncomfortable.

Yelp
HORRIBLE SERVICE. Came here to visit for the first time with 3 family members and myself. We made reservations for 5 PM for 1 hour and 4 people total to bowl. We arrived on time and the entire bowling section was empty with the exception of 1 party. Instead of giving us an empty section, they wanted to seat us with the party that was already there. The entire table was covered in the parties food leftovers and there were people seated on both sides of the couch... which means no where for us to sit and we are expected to sit with a bunch of nasty leftover plates? Absolutely not okay. They would not make an exception and give us a table and when I spoke with the female manger on shift she was BEYOND rude and brushed me off. Never coming here again and letting everyone I know in Cedar Park, Leander, and surrounding neighborhoods to never come to this place. What a joke.

Yelp
Spare Birdie It's new and a great new place to hang out with lots of fun options. Went during their soft opening Saturday night just to check things out. My husband and I grabbed a drink at the bar with a very nice bartender. I selected Uncle Greg's Party ($13) and my husband ordered the first on the cocktail list it sounded like Bananafosters. I don't like bananas but it was delicious along with my drink. Both were very well made cocktails and worth every buck. They even stamp the cubed ice cubes with the logo which we thought was a nice touch. As busy as it was for a soft opening, we received our drinks in less than 10 min and proceeded to walk around and check out what they have to offer. They have 8 lanes of bowling with two huge screens playing the music video to the music that is playing. A little disappointed as how low the volume was though. You could barely hear the music if you stand by the pool tables which is right next to the lanes. Maybe a little louder so we can enjoy the music. As I mentioned they have pool tables, 3 to be exact and at the back end of where the tables are you can find three dart boards. Bowling is $45/60 min, pool $10/30 min and darts $5/30 min. It's a bit more expensive then somewhere like Fast Eddies but you don't get craft cocktails and I didn't have any food but everything I saw pass me by from the kitchen looked really, really good. Other fun things they have are virtual bays, putting green and bocce ball. Something for everyone. I know it was their soft opening and I liked what I experienced so, I'll be back. I hope they will increase the music volume though. Till next time! FYI: You can't access Spare Birdie's parking lot from the at Home/Costco Parking lot, you have to go allllllllllllll the way around which is mind boggling to me.

Yelp
All the waiters and manager were so nice to me and my friend (both of us are Deaf). We love their food! I forget to took the pictures of our meals. Their oysters are so good.

Yelp
Our women networking group held a private event at Spare Birdies side patio and it was phenomenal. The service was on point, the food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect for our event. I have also been there socially and it is the perfect date night or GNO location.

Yelp
I'm going to start off some good before picking this place a part. It has a classy vibe with tons of room both inside and out. There are a bunch of game options beyond just golf simulators and bowling. Darts, bocce, corn hole, oversized jenga. Live music on some days. Staff is quick and friendly. Now it gets rough. The menu has a ton of options, of which we sampled a good portion of between six of us. Prices are high, which I normally don't mind when the quality aligns with the cost. Every single item was overcooked, and there were plenty other issues I won't detail . But mainly, not one memorable dish. This theme carried over into the signature cocktails that are $15-$20. Nothing terrible, nothing memorable. When they brought the bill, I had to remind them that Monday was 1/2 off bowling, so it took another 30 minutes to get that corrected. They use toast as a billing software and when I entered my email to receive my receipt, no such luck, never got it. If you are into paying $300+ for bowling for two hours with sub-par food and drink.....this place is for you!!!

Yelp
If I could leave zero stars I would. Not only is the food over priced. But, the hostesses at the front desk are rude and not professional. We decided to go to celebrate by husbands birthday and we did not have a reservation. However, we were able to get on their list. So, we decided to eat while we ate. After eating they're high priced below average food. We were told they were cleaning a bay for us. The men in our group thought we could play pool while we waited since 2 tables were open. But we were told that there was a wait. We asked why we were still waiting for the bay and the hostess said well the bay has to be cleaned. Still nothing. We waited 2.5 hrs and left aggravated and with crying grandchildren. We will not be back. Extremely disappointed. This place needs a lesson in customer service.

Yelp
Just walked out of the door because apparently service is hard. We were basically ignored by at least five employees, while wondering who are server was. The best part was when the waiter for the table right next to us **turned his back to us** and walked off after handling his table. Not so much as a "I'll get your server." Looking at the overpriced menu ($20 for a burger, really?)- pretty sure we just saved ourselves time AND money.

Yelp
Dining Experience: We came in at around 5 and were pit on a 30 minute wait however, it was less than that. We were seated BUT it did take 10+ minutes for our server to get to our table. Soft opening so we get it and weren't upset. THE FOOD Food was okay! The french fries were served with both of our entrees and definitely bar food fries. We started with the lamb meatballs super good. I got the short rib sandwich also mediocre, the sauce it came with was made for a dessert. My partner got the jalapeño burger and again MEH. We then go the banana foster and sheeesh that bread was dry and thank god there was ice cream on top. We did order the bruschetta however, after about our entrees came out it still never hit the table so we canceled it. THE DRINKS Most drinks seems to have bitters in it so i opted out. My partner got the magic kiss drink, dear god if you want a black licorice tasting drink that's for youu. Overal $89.85 for subpar dinner. Dinner 3.5/10 The bowling however was really fun & they had a ton of different fun games to play.

Yelp
We had an amazing time! The place is awesome, classy and kid friendly. The drinks and food are delicious. We had 16 person party and ordered off of the shareable menu. Everyone loved the food and it came out really quick. It was 1/2 price bowling on Mondays and the kids had a blast. We are visiting from out of town and wish we had something like this back in MD. Definitely a must in Austin and when we come back we will be back at Spare Birdie!

Yelp
My daughter took me to Spare Birdie today as an early Mother's Day lunch. We'd seen it on a walk one day and have wanted to try it since it opened. All in all excellent drinks, wonderful appetizer, and really good entrees. The space is big and well thought out and I can see more beings there especially with the live entertainment.

Yelp
Wrong location to have this place....this isn't Bee Caves or Westlake. Not family friendly and everything is $$$. It's a decent place for couples for a date night but it's going to come with a price. This place will NOT make it past 2024. Proceed with caution.
