"Spark Social is one of the best food truck gathering spots in the city, and is located just a 12-minute walk from Oracle Park. Once here, you have options like Al Pastor Papi, El Fuego, Koja Kitchen, and SPRO Coffee Lab, which appear in the park on a rotating schedule. Order whatever you’re in the mood for, pick up, and then eat your food around a firepit, under one of the tents, or at one of the many picnic tables in the open field." - lani conway, julia chen 1, patrick wong
"Spark Social is a food truck park in Mission Bay that’s larger than a football field with plenty of picnic tables and grassy space for your kids to run around and tire themselves out. The trucks rotate daily, but there’s usually something for everyone—pizza, empanadas, noodles, and poke are just some of the options on hand. Strollers and families abound, so you won’t feel out of place here with a gaggle of rampant toddlers. Spark Social is split into two separate areas, so make sure to do the rounds before deciding what you’re getting." - julia chen 1, patrick wong
"For a variety of affordable eats, hit this food truck park from the folks behind SoMa StrEat Food Park. In the past, the rotation of trucks has included Al Pastor Papi, which spins pork and pineapple tacos, and Torraku Ramen, with bowls full of thick tonkatsu and chewy noodles. Check the day’s schedule on Spark’s Instagram for an updated list of vendors. Fire pits and seats in a double-decker bus are available by reservation." - Dianne de Guzman, Paolo Bicchieri, Eater Staff
"Mission Bay is arguably San Francisco’s most dynamic neighborhood, given Chase Center and its accompanying Thrive City plus all of the walkable spaces throughout the in-construction area. Enter, then, Spark Social, the East Side’s go-to food truck park and cozy firepit hangout. The whole thing, criss-crossing burrito dealers and dumpling purveyors, is dog-friendly." - Dianne de Guzman, Paolo Bicchieri
"Join the outdoor food truck and sangria party at Spark Social, a little more than a half mile from Oracle Park. The lineup of trucks rotates daily, so check the Spark Social Instagram and Twitter accounts for the most up-to-date information. For larger groups, firepit and cabana reservations are available for an hourly fee and online ordering ahead is also an option." - Lauren Saria, Paolo Bicchieri
