Nice dark cozy quiet vibe as expected from a speakeasy. The gentleman serving us was very helpful and knowledgable. They do their own fruit infusions which make cocktails unique and memorable. Perfect execution by proper mixologists passionated for their craft of sharing tasting experiences. As much as it is pricey, it is worth a visit. The menu is a piece of art as well.

Visited Speak in Code for my brothers birthday. Big Joe was absolutely brilliant in guiding us through the menu and taking our drinks preferences to recommend cocktails that both of us really enjoyed. He was happy to take any questions we threw at him about absolutely anything - the bar, the drinks or the menu. His knowledge was second to none and he explained every ingredient and how they paired together in detail. Big Joe took this from just a few cocktails to an experience - and we both experimented with cocktails we wouldn’t have picked from the menu alone. Would recommend SIC to anyone - the cocktails and the service were brilliant from start to finish.

My partner and I have visited Speak in Code a number of times now, and yesterday we got to sit in their new Studio space for the first time for some end of night anniversary cocktails. This is without a doubt my favourite place to get cocktails in the city. Not only are the drinks exceptional (and they really really are) but the bar staff are so friendly and accommodating and always willing to answer any questions. You can tell they love what they do and the proof is in the cocktails themselves. Big shoutout to Little Jo for making our anniversary one to remember : )

We would never have found this bar only we were in the local vicinity. It’s a basement bar. No reservation required for a Monday evening but surprisingly busy. Menus in record sleeves. Very interesting cocktails that will be explained to you by the bar men. Sat at the bar in comfortable stools and listened to chilled hip hop. All the cocktails are without exception interesting. We had a couple with some water on the side. Unisex toilets but very clean. Dark, sultry venue. Loved it.

What a place! Cannot recommend this bar highly enough. Decent cocktails. Highly experienced and attentive staff. Beautiful ambience and chilled vibe. Definitely worth a visit. You will not be disappointed.

An utterly exceptional bar! We visited after a delightful dinner across the road and it was the perfect post dinner cocktail spot. It has an outstanding selection of cocktails and other drinks of cocktails aren’t for you. With the menu specially curated and the dimmed cozy inside it was a nice quiet end to our date night. Our bartender Tyler was very friendly and gave us great recommendations!

My friend and I attended Speak In Code after being recommended it by another friend of mine. I really didn’t know what to expect, but even just walking through the door was an experience in itself, being shown to our table immediately and run through the menu with Sinc. The decor, lighting, atmosphere, menu, coasters… everything equated to what I would label as the best experience I’ve ever had in any form of bar in my life. As for the cocktails? MY LORD!!! I nearly cried when I tried the White Russian, and it wasn’t even what I had ordered for myself. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to indulge into luxury for an evening.

Such a cool vibe and the most delicious drinks! Loved seeing the thought and care put into each drink via the doodles & descriptions in the menu. Would have the demo 6 & 7 again any time!
