This place literally has it all! From every single type of liquor to wine, beer and all the cocktail additives/mixers. Great security at the front. Most of the staff are helpful. And don't forget that tgey will charge you extra 5% fir a credit card transaction, - they call it "saving 5%" when you dodge the upcharge.

You’ve got to come here at least once. Absolutely fantastic selection of wines and spirits, cheeses, and fine international snacks. Everything you need for a party. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Worth the drive.

I never knew the extent of the 'finer foods' aspect of Spec's. This flagship location has literally every food you can think of, from crumpets and clotted cream to irish butter. There is an entire section of the store with every cheese you could imagine with creative jams/jellies. The prices are not that much higher than a regular grocery store, and I find myself grocery shopping there more than anything. They even have a bakery with fancy desserts and a deli in the back where you can order fresh burgers, muffalatta, and other specialty sandwiches. The deli also has egg salad, deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, and boudain on a daily basis, just to name a few. One of the Only places to find alfalfa sprouts, peruvian cherry drop peppers, a reasonably-priced olive bar, fresh bread and hot soups. 🔥 Oh and there's alcohol. One of my favorite places to treat myself to the finer things. Highly recommend if you've never been!

How does this place even exist? Better question: why doesn't it exist in more places? Of course the alcohol selection is tremendous and well-priced. But the food selection is simply unheard of. So many foods and drinks from all over the world in one place. And SO much fine cheese! I only wish I had a store like this near me.

This location is like a cathedral for booze. I always stop here when I'm in town. I remember when it was a converted house, lol. They have a bewildering variety of liquor, everything from your basics: whiskeys, vodkas, rums, - to fancy liquors and some very hard to find stuff. Always worth wandering around here. Great beer and wine selection too. The other Spec's in town have different stock and the staff is nice about checking to see if something is available. Awesome place.

This is a SPEC’S flagship store. It has a MASSIVE selection of beer, wine and spirits. It has way more selections than a typical neighborhood SPEC’S. In addition to the massive liquor offerings, it has a specialty food store that has international offerings and if you are hungry while you are there, it sports a deli counter and a bakery items that looked incredible. The store also offered a wide selection of glassware, decanters and other specialty items. All in all, an impressive store.

I once again received advice to where my wife and I could find and purchase some great German and European beer. A Mr. David assisted me to find these 4 different beers and we were very very pleased with his help. And also at the checkout counter a wonderful young lady assisted me in locating another Spec's located near where my wife and I work at the 3 major hospitals in the Houston Medical Center. So thank you very very much Mr. David a [ Navy Veteran ] and the young lady who helped me also. And thanks to Spec's amazing selection to German and European beers and wines. GOD BLESS.
