⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spices of India – Kitchen and Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food was authentic, hot, fresh, and bursting with the true flavors of Kerala. Every dish reminded us of home and was prepared with such care. A special shout-out to our wonderful waiter, Vishnu, who made the whole experience unforgettable—his warmth, attentiveness, and hospitality truly made us feel like we were back in Kerala. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving real Kerala cuisine!

Google
The food was absolutely amazing! I truly loved the atmosphere and the warm hospitality that was both given and shown to me. The entire experience was so rich in culture that it’s hard to put into words. I hope everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the same experience at this wonderful restaurant. Thank you so much for everything!

Google
Good - **** It is a small restaurant in Irving. We were looking for a kerala restaurant near DFW Airport and most of them were closed so found this. Thalassery Biriyani was the special of the day and along with that we ordered Kappa, Red Fish Curry, Porotta and Beef Fry for 3 people. The flavor was really good and there was good quantity. Loved it.

Google
Great food, service, atmosphere and overall experience!! My boss an I went to taste test the food for a company event we were having and we were not disappointed!! We ordered the curry chicken, butter chicken, chicken and veggie samosas and garlic naan. Everything was delicious, fresh and hot!! The flavors were amazing!! Fast forward to today, when we ordered large pans of those same items and, again, everything was AMAZING! Joby, the owner, delivered the catering order to us and helped me set it up. He was kind, helpful, professional and very friendly. At a company of 75 people in the office, every single person that tried it, loved it! They gave raving reviews to me, the event planner, about how happy they were with the food. Thank you Joby, and staff, for your help! You made this experience fantastic and our whole team appreciates you! We will definitely be regulars from here!

Google
I was driving home from work one day and noticed this spot, I figured I'd stop since I love Indian cuisine and from the pictures on the window I figured it was Malayalam cuisine. I went in and was seated in the dining room in one of the booths. Once seated I sat there for a bit, I didn't even get a menu, it's as though they just forgot about me. It was well after 4PM and the restaurant opens at 11. After 25 minutes I just got up and left, the people in the next room didn't even say anything. It's too bad, I would have loved to find another place to get Indian cuisine.

Google
So good, definitely a family favorite for Indian food! Been here several times and everything we've tried has been delicious. Restaurant is clean and decor is simple. It smells great the moment you walk in and the family who runs it are always very nice to us. Portions are good size, I get two meals out of each entree. Husband craves the chicken Tikka masala. Veggie samosas and chicken 65 are our go-to for appetizers but I got the gobi Manchurian one time and that cauliflower was bomb. Goat curry and the goat roast are my go-to choices (the savory sauce is addictive), but when I'm trying to eat healthier I'll opt for fish or chicken. I tried the fish biryani today and would definitely get it again. The biryani is just the right amount of aromatic and seasoned perfectly. I wish we lived nearby so we could eat here more often and try all things on the menu.

Rarely do you get to eat authentic Kerala cuisine and this place is one such rarity! Mr. Joby (owner and chef) is proud of his dishes that he serves with generous portion sizes all while not jeopardizing the taste. We ordered the Pompano Fish Fry (special spicy topping over the succulent fried fish), Butter Chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala (very creamy and delicious). The Shrimp roast was excellent and the Porotta was fresh, soft and flaky! Finally, the most important review is not about the food but about Mr. Joby (the owner) - He is a humble believer and ardent follower of Jesus Christ and his primary objective through this restaurant is not to make profit but to share the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ. He is unashamed to share his testimony and his staff are just as courteous and kind as the owner. All their servers very pleasant and hospitable! May God continue to bless all who come here and may they enjoy the Food, the Fellowship and the Faith!!!

Google
Food is delicious! Joby, Yadee and Vishnu were wonderful! Great customer service and very helpful! They did a wonderful in catering for overall 100 guests. Thank you!

Yelp
I got the chicken samosa, roasted beef with biryani rice, naan and kerala parotta. The food was really good and had great flavor and spice to it. One thing to note is that the chicken samosa order comes with only 1 chicken samosa. I got it to-go and the service was good. Will be back again!

Yelp
The food was decent, the restaurant was old and really needs to be renovated. The staff were pleasant, but this appears to be more of a takeout type restaurant. I wouldn't recommend eating inside just because it's not a really nicely decorated restaurant. It's old nevertheless the food was decent and I really enjoyed the vegetable rice. However, we asked for a cup of ice to drink with our soda and they say that they did not have any ice. The price of the food is decent for a family of three we spent 60 bucks which is about $20 a person.

Yelp
Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan This was quite possibly some of the most bland Indian food I have ever had. The chicken was overcooked and dry and the dish just so sad. The garlic Naan looks beautiful but was equally tasteless. I was so bummed out by this meal!

ELLEN W.

Yelp
small little place, but very clean everyone's friendly. My food was good. I had chicken curry over rice. They were very quick to get my order out. I will order again.

Yelp
Spices of India is about 2 minutes from my mom's house so we often go here whenever we crave Indian food. We always get the butter chicken with garlic naan. I enjoy their food however the customer service isn't great and I do feel that they're pretty expensive. I believe we use to get the yellow Biryani rice but now it's just white, not sure of why the change. However, the chicken is juicy and they do give you alot of sauce. I always get mild because medium is truly spicy.

Yelp
Found this great spot for Indian cuisine tucked away in a strip mall plaza. But the full parking lot quickly showed how popular this place was. Inside was casual, with a few tables but don't be fooled. The food was amazing. We ordered a spicy fish curry, which definitely came with a kick. If you can handle the heat, it has really amazing flavors. The chicken biriyani was also really food. The suble level of sweetness was a nice touch, the rice also paired great with the curry. We would return to try their other dishes. Recommend!

Yelp
Visited Dallas during fall break. Wow! So much great food and fun. Bought take out from Spices of India. It was an awesome recommendation from my cousin. We ordered different dishes and shared like family style. Great idea! We tried a little bit of everything. We had about six different entrees. We had Chicken Tikki Masala, Chicken Korma, Chicken and Goat Biryani, Mutter Paneer, Butter Chicken and each entree came with a rice based dessert. It was so tasty! The garlic naan was so so. I have had better. Didn't dine inside so not sure what the restaurant looked like. Service was great since all of our dishes were made and packed correctly. I will return when I visit Dallas again.

Yelp
Was considering going to the new "Indian fine dining" restaurant at Water Street, but the more I read their reviews weighed against their prices, I decided I needed to investigate other options since my main desire was "great Indian food" that didn't need to come with white table cloths and and a view of the lake. D Magazine recently referred to "Spices of India Kitchen" as the "hidden gem" in their February 15, 2024 "Best Indian Restaurants in Dallas-Fort Worth" article. Being less than 10 miles from me and after reading their mostly glowing reviews, I was convinced I needed to give them a try. Ordered the butter chicken and lamb roast, both with biryani rice as well as the garlic naan. Even though the dining room seems more than adequate, I got the order "to go". Everything was delicious! Definitely some of the best tasting Indian food I've experienced over the years. So many more things I want to try from the menu including the seafood options that might be best eaten there, fresh from the kitchen. Next time!

Yelp
Food was phenomenal! Service was fantastic! All around a great spot! It doesn't look like much from the outside but there were plenty of booths inside to enjoy the food as dine in. We were quickly greeted and felt very welcome. We ended up ordering Veggie Samosas, Beef Vindaloo, Chicken tiki Marsala, Palak Paneer and garlic naan. Everything was so so good! The Beef Vindaloo was so full of flavor; it had a heat that built but I couldn't stop eating it. The garlic naan was the best naan I've ever had. It was warm, crispy yet soft and swimming in garlic. The portions were pretty large and each came with a side of rice. We paid with a credit card but couldn't leave a tip on the card so bring your cash!! I'm already planning my next trip back!!

Yelp
Uncovering a "HIDDEN GEM" - A Voyage across the Backwaters of 'God's own Country' KERALA, at the 'SPICES of INDIA KITCHEN' in Irving, TX! Check it out! KERALA is one of the four (4) Southern States of INDIA (the others being TAMIL NADU, ANDHRA PRADESH and KARNATAKA) and is well known for its natural beauty, cruises on House Boats in its backwaters, colorful festivals, Yoga and Naturopathy (Ayurveda) Healing Centers, exotic dance forms like Mohini Attam and Kathakali, as well as a rich tapestry of culinary traditions and delights, including sumptuous seafood marinated with local spices, herbs, coconut, the famous pot tamarind and served up in traditional banana leaves. We chanced upon 'SPICES of INDIA' in Irving thanks to my research and uncovered a "Hole in the Wall" that is a true gem - the kind I love to discover and introduce to my fellow foodies in this community...a welcome change from the fine-dining restaurants and lounges that we frequent most of the time! 'SPICES of INDIA' is run by Chef-Resturanteur JOBY KARUNAKARAN, his cousin DARVIN and his Chef VERGHESE (Syrian Christians who speak Malayalam and call themselves "Malayalees") who come from TRICHUR aka THRISSUR, the third largest urban center in KERALA after KOCHI and KOZHOKODE, and is well known for its rich cultural (the "Cultural Capital of Kerala") and culinary heritage. We commenced the expedition with their FISH CUTLETS followed by the GOLDEN POMPANO FRY (rice flour coated, spiced and fried) which we loved and followed up with the SPICY RED FISH CURRY (a traditional recipe) that did not go down well with our Bengali/East Indian Palate because of the strong odour of the fish...we had them concoct the SEA BASS FILLETs with the same spices as the GOLDEN POMPANO which were a huge hit and complemented the slow cooked GOAT ROAST that we loved and highly recommend! You love the HYDERABAD, THALAPAKATTU (Chettinad style) and BENGALI MUTTON BIRYANIS, but have you ever experienced the 'MALABAR aka the THALASSERY MUTTON BIRYANI'?! The high point of our culinary expedition was the iconic THALASSERY GOAT BIRYANI known as the 'MALABAR BIRYANI' outside KERALA. It is made with a premium quality short grain rice called the KAIMA RICE (unique to the Malabar Coast in Kerala) with GOAT MEAT, spices, green chillies, tomatoes, yoghurt, dry fruits (cashews) and raisins which renders a unique sweet and spicy flavor profile that was novel and scrumptious...the 'MALABAR BIRYANI' alone is a good reason to check out and return to SPICES of INDIA, IMHO! A compelling debut experience with excellent customer service from this extended family of Malayalees from KERALA who are passionate and proud of their culinary heritage and will bend over backwards to please their customers with their culinary skills and their customer service. We will return to sample their GOAT CURRY, the MEEN MOLLY (Fish cooked in Coconut Milk with spices and herbs), the GOLDEN POMPANO FRY and of course, the THALASSERY MUTTON BIRYANI aka the MALABAR MUTTON BIRYANI that we cannot get enough of! CAVEAT EMPTOR: this is a modest "hole-in-the-wall" establishment so please do not expect a fancy ambiance or any semblance of opulence - please take the time to savor their novel cuisine and recipes that you won't find at any other INDIAN RESTAURANT in the DFW Metroplex! Check it out: 'SPICES of INDIA KITCHEN' 833 East Shady Grove Road A, Irving, TX 75060. Tel # (214) 751-6468. Yelp
Very flavorful food, and delivered with care and professionalism. I think it's a good sign when Indian people are enjoying the fare as well. Its not white table cloth and crystal stemware, but the food doesn't need pretense and pomp. Chicken Tikka Masala was spot on. The vegetable samosas were so flavorful and perfectly fried, and the chicken "cutlet" (I found it more like a croquette, but WOW) was so flavorful and not what I was expecting, in the very best way. I cannot wait to go back. Just a hidden gem on the south side of Irving.

Yelp
Spices Of India Kitchen is a culinary gem! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of Chicken Biryani was absolutely divine so we ordered it - each grain of rice perfectly infused with flavors, tender chicken pieces, and just the right amount of spice. The portion size was generous, ensuring I left completely satisfied. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. This is undoubtedly my go-to spot for delicious Indian cuisine. MUST TRY!

Yelp
If you're coming here it's definitely for the food. Excellent cuisine. So fresh and fragrant. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Hidden GEM!! Must try it! Butter Chicken & Paneer & Lamb Curry & Naan were excellent dishes! Yummy food! We will be back. The atmosphere to me seemed like an India Starbucks coffee shop with people working on laptops & on calls. Just cool!
google avatar

Yelp
Unfriendly and awkward service. Food was just OK. Plastic ware so lame, covid is basically over so bring back legit flatware already.
google avatar

Kelsey R.

Yelp
Excellent Indian food. Will be coming back to try more food items! Everything had a great taste and kept me wanting more. Discount is apparently only for online orders. Didn't want to give it to us.

Clayton L.

Yelp
This place is great. My 2nd time ever eating Indian food with a coworker who was eating it for the 1st time ever. The service was good, there's a young lady who was our waitress, realized we were not well versed in what to order, and helped us with everything we needed, she was very sweet and understanding. The food was nothing short of amazing. The kind of comfort food where you need to take a nap afterwards. Butter chicken 10/10 and the chicken korma was a solid 8/10 if you like a spicier dish. Do not let the exterior fool you, this may look like a hole in the wall, which is the only reason this isn't a 5 star review, this place is a diamond in the rough.

Angelica F.

Yelp
Super delicious, will definitely be back to try other things; the garlic naan was the best I've ever had
google avatar

Sejal S.

Yelp
Unsafe Food Handling! I ordered sambhar, butter chicken, rice & rotis from this place. while I was eating the sambhar & rice directly from the takeout container, I found a huge piece of broken glass in my food. I noticed it on time, otherwise I would've had an injury inside my mouth. It was horrible! I was so disappointed that I had to throw the entire order. This is completely unacceptable. I mean finding that kind of glass piece in food is not a joke, it is not a minor careless mistake. It justifies how they handle their food in such an unhygienic & in a careless way. Also, the side micro sized dessert I got was tasting sour & bad.

Alex D.

Yelp
It's super delicious and authentic family-owned. The staff and owners are also amazingly friendly.

Yelp
I went on Google to locate a Indian restaurant. The first result that popped up was Spice of India Kitchen. I ordered Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi was recommended by the server. I also ordered to go Chicken Tikka Masala. My meal was flavorful. My tastebuds were doing a happy dance. The portions were a large amount, I had to take my food home.OMG!!! The restaurant was a small quiet setting. You must visit this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. I was able to meet the owner and he stated he wanted the meals to taste like a good homemade meal. I will be returning and telling friends. I will be putting my video on my YouTube channel, Sherri Brown TV. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
This is my go to place when I visit Dallas on work. I always order Beef fry and Appams as these dishes are truly delicious.
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
Generous portion of delicious Chicken 65, amazing Prawn Curry made with good sized prawns. Very friendly, attentive staff The location was very clean and well maintained. Might be tucked off the beatin' path but a true Jem. Check back later for a Lassi update.

Richard P.

Yelp
Got $40 worth of to-go. The WORST! If you get that gut feeling DO NOT ignore. Filthy! Everyone in our household got sick. Montezuma's Revenge! When I called to complain they couldn't care any less. Like they'd heard it all many times before. Can I give it less than 1star?! Scratch this one friends.
google avatar

Molly M.

Yelp
The food is so so good and it's close to my house. I really wanted to like this place! Which is why I'm so sorry to report finding a wood roach in my fried rice. I took it back and they gave me a refund. They seemed shocked and were very apologetic.

Henry A.

Yelp
This is one of my go-to places for quick food. I love their Thalassery Biryani. It's very flavorful and cooked perfectly. It keeps me coming back.

Danielle A.

Yelp
Bland, no flavor or spice, no greeting when you walk in and weren't very friendly. Portions were midsize.
google avatar

Marcos C.

Yelp
Wow!! I love the butter chicken from here. I've been looking for a place that has GOOD butter chicken and I have found the place. The service was good too. She was so nice! I am definitely coming back again and letting my friends know too. I would post a photo but I ate all the food lol Super good! I'm so glad I found y'all!!

Yelp
Delicious Indian food in Dallas! The butter chicken and tikka masala are my favorites. The mild is very mild so if you want spice get at least a medium!Great service with a cozy atmosphere.

Yelp
Come here & see...An Ode to the Delectable Diversity of Spices Of India Kitchen - A Must-Visit Culinary Eden Navigating Dallas's vibrant food scene, I was lured into the heart of Irving by the mystic aromas at Spices of India Kitchen. The tantalizing whispers of a true Indian culinary journey beckoned me - and let me reassure you, this is no ordinary dalliance with food. It's an exploration, an evocatively flavoured Indian escapade that charms your tastebuds and captivates your gastronomic soul. From the moment you step inside, Spices of India ensnares you in an endearingly easygoing ambiance. A glow of calm permeates the eatery, setting the stage for a profoundly stunning dining experience. The confidence of the restaurant lies in its authenticity, while a mammoth mural of the Last Supper with an awe-inspiring Jesus as its fulcrum asserts its artistic depth, from wall to wall. Delve into the brilliant harmony of spices in their curries and biryanis. Their masterful chefs, genuine ambassadors of age-old Indian recipes, ensure every dish offers a flavourful narrative. The generous buffet, a mosaic of Indian delicacies which synergistically echo the prtwarming essence of communal dining, is an ode to the country's culinary diversity. Vegetable dishes here are a revelation of flavors, a powerful manifesto of their passionate commitment to sourcing and using the finest ingredients. Each morsel brims with sincere respect for Indian traditions whilst simultaneously teasing the nuances of modern fusion. Their desserts redefine sweet endings, charmingly confident in the way they blend familiar ingredients in refreshingly mindful proportions. The taste lingers, a joyfully relaxed reminder of a meal you cannot help but feel motivated to relive. Rest assured, Spices of India is not merely a restaurant - it's an experience, a symphony of bold tastes and strikingly sincere hospitality that envelopes you in an irresistibly warm embrace. Their knowledgeable staff complements the high culinary acumen, further bolstering the overall dining experience. But there is more than food at Spices of India. Renowned for their thoughtful approach, they put the 'friendly' in fine dining, making the entire experience quite remarkable, edging on the ironic: high-quality Indian cuisine in the heart of Irving, at the crossroads of contemporary and classic, casual and charismatic, cultural and culinary. Whether you desire the dynamic array of a buffet or prefer to take a culinary trip with their delightful (not to mention, budget-friendly) a la carte menu, Spices of India promises a journey for your senses - a trip into the heart of true Indian cuisine that is as charming as it is transformative. It's difficult to not fall passionately head over heels for them. So, Dallas, Irving in particular, let's share a bold truth: Spices of India Kitchen proffers a culinary experience that's simply unrivaled by any other. Hop on this flavourful journey, soak in the warm, welcoming hospitality, and relish the millennia-old recipes, stunningly framed by that magnanimous mural. This is not just food. It's a feast, it's love, it's India captured in a symphony of spices. Unreservedly recommended, unquestionably essential.

Yelp
I called my order in (Saturday) and they said it would be about 20-30 minutes. I arrived in 30 minutes and it was ready to be picked up. It is a tiny place, so it is easy to miss. The parking lot is small too. They share the parking lot with a Mexican restaurant. The garlic naan was fantastic! Soft and full of garlic flavor. I wanted two pieces of naan, but when I asked them for 2 naan I ended up getting 4 pieces of naan. I assume 1 naan is 2 pieces. Each naan piece was huge, so one order of naan would have sufficed. The vegetable samosa was great! The ratio of bread to samosa filling was good too. More filling than the outside wrapper. The green and red dipping sauces were good too. Everything I ordered was flavorful! I will definitely be back again, but this time to try more of the main dish options.
google avatar

Keerthana C.

Yelp
Only tried the chicken biriyani and was unfortunately disappointed - it was a a little bland and the seasoning was on the sweet side, which threw me off a little bit. Would have preferred to try a curry or another dish if I went again.

Lizeth R.

Yelp
We didn't know what to expect but this was so worth it. We read the revues with a bit of doubt but Nope.. they delivered!!! Food 10 Ambiance it's a bit off not going to lie Service was great!
google avatar

Yelp
Small place but great food! Had the beef vindaloo and chicken 65. Both were on point!
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
I had a difficult time deciding what to order because it all sounded really good. I decided on the chicken tikka masala, chicken biriyani, prawn curry & garlic naan. Everything was so good! Clean quality ingredients and amazing spices. Very friendly owner too. The chicken biriyani is enough to feed several people. This is a local gem hidden.

Yelp
I agree , doesn't look like much when you see it the place from the street, but WOW !! the food was awesome Very authentic Indian. Our waiter was friendly and helpful with helping us decide what to order. The owner came over and introduced himself . I can't say enough about the food .... The flavors .... and portions were very generous. One more mention. Everything was prepared fresh while we waited . It wasn't sitting in a warmer plate

Yelp
What a great place with delicious food. From appetizers to dessert we were served hot fresh made to order quality. Will be back for sure

Yelp
Food -- 5/5 The food here is UNREAL!! I've never been to India before, but if I were to imagine what authentic Indian food tasted like, THIS. IS. IT. Flavor, texture, temperature -- everything was perfect. Service -- 10/5 One thing I genuinely appreciated about this place was the employee's honest concern for their patrons' satisfaction. They did EVERYTHING they could to make sure our experience was awesome. They made suggestions of food that they thought we'd enjoy and also affirmed that what we ordered was a great choice. (Their suggestions weren't at all made in hopes of upselling -- they honestly just wanted us to treat us to the very best.) Very genuine, very polite. Cleanliness -- 4/5 The dining area was pretty empty because most people were getting takeout, but we felt comfortable enough to dine in, despite our being a extra careful to remain CoRo-free. There was one table that hadn't been cleared while we were in there, but, you know, whatev. Value -- 5/5 This is some of the best-tasting and best-priced Indian food in the Metroplex. Honestly, they should be charging A LOT more for what they serve. The ingredients are top-notch, and based on the fact that Indian food takes TON of work to prepare, this place is an absolute steal. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Tanya C.

Yelp
Ordered from DoorDash. Chicken 65 was dry. Gobi Manchurian was soggy. Naan was stale and there was no mint chutney, peanut chutney, no chutney at all. $58 wasted. Got other items as well and they were not worth it either. Will never eat here again.

Melissa G.

Yelp
It doesn't look like much from the outside (or the inside for that matter) but this is a great little restaurant with reasonable prices. Good Indian food and absolutely fantastic service. The waitress was very attentive and the food came out quickly! Will be back if I'm in the area

Yelp
I love food from Kerala, especially because their specialties have abundance of diversity in terms of proteins that they work with, and the levels of flavor they develop. It doesn't hurt that a lot of their dishes are usually coconut based, which I love. So I was very excited to try out this place. I obviously opted for the beef fry, and any variation of beef done with spices on a cooking utensil over heat is a must have at a joint boasting food from this region. Unfortunately, the beef was really tough, overcooked and dry. Even more unfortunate, because the rest of the flavoring was done right, but it was close to inedible because I'd have been chewing all night. Another dish I tried from the region was the Chicken Kondattam, and this one was better. It's chicken tossed with red chilies, usually dried red chilies and I loved the bright red color and sprinkling of chili flakes all around. The meat was moist and not dry. Just wish it was a little more crispier on the outside. Finally, went for an Indo-Chinese chicken fried rice (which is obviously not from the region, and I'm not judging it as such) which was tasty and well done. I'll definitely give them another try, maybe even their appams, avial and the other staples from the region for my next updated review.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Great food and great service! Highly recommend this place! I've only had Indian food two other times in my life and this one exceeded my expectations!
google avatar

Yelp
Mannnnn I don't think I've had South Indian food in a decade plus. Really hit the spot. Get the beef roast + 2 Kerala Paratha. You're welcome.
google avatar

Jobin J.

Yelp
Thought to try a new Indian place for dinner for the family and got some butter chicken with naan and some duck curry. The butter chicken was terrible. It seemed to be filled with so much oil and the sauce didn't taste good at all. Barely could tell if there was chicken in there or not Because the oil Was covering most of it. The naan sizes here are so much smaller than pictured and for the price was not worth it. I don't know if they were having a bad day or not but I won't be coming back here. This place is overpriced for not good Indian food. You can definitely find way better Indian food for cheaper in Irving with bigger serving portions too . Not sure what the other people saw in the place but from the reviews, the Indian people know this is not the place to get Indian food from.

Yelp
Y'all the Lamb Curry was delicious. I decided to get medium on the spice level with yellow rice. 10/10 do recommend

Yelp
Came in on Saturday evening. My boyfriend found this place. It was in a sketchy place and the wait took awhile, but food was delicious! The owner came out and got our order and provided our meals afterwards. The portions were generous. He also made time to check on us. Service was great and food came out in a timely manner. would be back again.

Yelp
I've had the opportunity to eat their food now on at least five more occasions. I have to update my review based on learning that this is a restaurant featuring specialties of the coastal Indian state of Kerala. When I figured that out and started ordering Kerala foods, nom nom nom. The beef fry will rock your world as will the beef curry. The palak paneer is unlike what you're used to with a coconut milk base. It's a wonderful experience.
