Walking in, it appeared to be crowded with furniture to the point that I was unsure if they were open or not. Their table settings and benches are really cute, but the R & B music killed the vibe completely. The young man that sat us was very polite. Interestingly enough, our appetizer came out last.
Salt and Pepper Chicken: My expectation for salt and pepper chicken would be lightly breaded and the pressed in salt and pepper served with green onions and garlic. This came out completely breaded, unknown spice served with bell peppers and onions. That being said, it was my FAVORITE thing we ordered. Personally it should be marketed differently, but it was delicious.
Shrimp Chow Mein: Looked pretty basic, flavor was ok, still cooked to the perfect consistency. Filled with fresh onions, but very minimal shrimp. The shrimp was extremely "fishy" tasting if that makes sense, but still remained decent.
War Wonton Soup: Served with a fair amount of veggies and wontons. Came with chicken and shrimp (still fishy). Soups are usually my go to for new places due to my personal obsession with broths. This broth tasted more like the sesame oil, I assume the ingredients were cooked in instead of the traditional broth flavor.
All in all, food was decent, service was fast and the restraunt was clean.
